Super delicious food, nice ambience, we enjoy being here every time!

At 8:30 p.m. we were refused entry, even though several tables outside were free. We're supposed to come half an hour later. I find it a disgrace. Apparently they choose their customers!!!

I used to like coming here but currently I keep getting ripped off. Last time we were asked if we want a starter snd when the waitors start recommending something that not on the menue you better watch out. We had some Pfifferlinge with salad…cost us 19 euros per person which left us afterwards speechless, especially because the portion was small and we thought he wouldnt cost that much. In the past this has happened 3 times there, wont be going back

Very authentic Italian. Great food, a bit of chaos. At La Dolce Vita you get Italy with everything that goes with it. We weren't able to reserve a table anywhere for six people on a Saturday lunchtime except there. Somehow they managed to squeeze us in. We had to wait outside for almost 45 minutes, but were served drinks. Once inside we were somehow maneuvered to a table; it was narrow, loud and still somehow funny. The waiters are very personable and their manner makes the whole thing an experience. The wine recommended was excellent, as were the anti-pasti, the truffle pasta and the lamb. At La Dolce Vita you know something about food and drink and you get the full load of Italy. However, if you want to eat on time and in peace, this might not be the right place for you.

Es ist wirklich sehr schade, dass man nur 5 Sterne vergeben kann. Das Restaurant hat deutlich mehr Sterne verdient. Das Essen der Service, alles Top. Auch wenn alles etwas länger gedauert hat. Es gab mehrere kleine Aufmerksamkeiten aus der Küche um längere Wartezeiten zu überbrücken und die Kellner sind sehr freundlich und Aufmerksam. Zum Abschluss gab es sogar Rosen und Kekse geschenkt. Sowie einen spitzen Grappa. Wenn ich wieder in Frankfurt bin, komme ich gerne wieder.

An absolute highlight in Frankfurt and now our regular Italian restaurant. Whether for a birthday party or a quick, small meal in between – this is the perfect address. The staff is exceptionally friendly and the food tastes simply fantastic.

Classic in Frankfurt's Nordend! I have been a guest at La Dolce Vita for around 20 years and always go home happy. The waiters are very nice and funny. The restaurant was also very busy on this Tuesday evening. We were served friendly and quickly and everyone was happy with spaghetti arrabiata, sole and veal chop. The dishes were delicious and the fish and meat were absolutely fresh and to the point. The house wine went perfectly with the warm summer evening. There was nothing to complain about, even in terms of price-performance. We were able to sit outside and watch the hustle and bustle of the north end. We can usually find a parking space nearby. We'll be back soon 🤗

Despite reservations, we had to wait 3/4 hour standing on the sidewalk and we were repeatedly promised that our table would be available immediately. Although we were served some Prosecco, it obviously couldn't satisfy our hunger. We decided to go to Vinesso, where we were treated very well, even without a reservation. Day is truly outrageous! We almost embarrassed ourselves during our visit. Why are reservations accepted when it is fully booked? Or why are guests accepted when tables are already reserved? Although we didn't go there often in the past, we did go there regularly. Not anymore!

People! If you all just want to rate pizza, why not just visit a pizzeria? The Dolce Vita is a restaurant, not a snack bar.

What great fun... A feeling of Italy 🇮🇹 in the middle of Frankfurt! Patrik, the authentic service boss, swirls around the full tables and gives the perfect recommendations for the moment. He also has no problem complaining about the illegally parked Ferrari driver across the street... it makes me feel like I'm sitting in the middle of a plaza in Milan. The most important thing: The food is really delicious and authentically Italian! Our fish was fried to perfection and was professionally carved by Patrik. The wines are very well selected, all from Italy 🇮🇹 and the wine list, which is worth seeing, shows the regions from which the wines come. This means that even guests who don't know all the Italian regions exactly can identify the wine. Prices have increased in all restaurants, but I felt very fair here. Highly recommended!!!

A bit hidden, near Oeder Weg. Classic ambience, very nice service. To describe the portions as generous is hardly an exaggeration; if you're normally hungry, two courses are enough. The “open wine” was very good. Reservation is recommended.

Great Italian restaurant, with extremely good service & the truffle pasta with Parmesan and the tiramisu were incredibly tasty.

The pasta taste was lacking compared to others I’ve been too. Pasta is fresh. Server asked for tips as if he’s forcing for us to give which is a no-no in service industry. Plus, he tried to push things out of the menu which would have probably cost more. Just don’t let them dictate what you eat and you’ll be fine.

We loved the food, every dish was delicious and beautifully presented. Unfortunately, our experience was dampened by a rude waiter who treated us condescendingly, telling us how to eat and making us feel unwelcome. It’s disappointing that such amazing food was overshadowed by poor service. If the staff’s attitude improves, this could be a top dining spot.

Probably the beat Italian restaurant in Frankfurt. Went on a hot summer day to their small garden for a birthday dinner of a friend, we did a reservation since we were six. The staff was kind, speaks a lot of different languages and did a lot of good suggestions (good sellers, that you don’t feel like they are selling). As a starter we had the fresh bread (super nice and seemed homemade) with olive oil and a tomato bruschetta. The risottos and pizzas were also good, and the pizza for price quality can be a pretty good choice. I chose the pasta with truffle, and guess what, it was divine, one of the best Italian dishes I have ever tried. The Aperol Spritz and Limoncello were good I enjoyed the Tiramisu and felt like it was a good portion to be shared.

The meal was delicious. Everything tastes wonderful! The waiters were very helpful and there were lots of goodies that were brought to our table. The ambience outside was very nice and lovingly decorated. Gladly again!

Very cozy restaurant with a beautiful terrace that is cozy and warm even in winter. The food is always great and lovingly prepared. The wine selection is very extensive and very good. The service is perfect, Alex and Patrick are simply the best! You can follow their recommendations blindly. We love eating there often!

This place is consistently unfriendly with food delivery guys. Sometimes even refusing them to use the bathroom.

The four of us had eaten in the restaurant for the first time... because a friend told us about it. Finding a parking space was difficult, but we know that from the north end. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very appealing...Very cozy and very inviting. The boss takes the order personally...the other five waiters serve the food. None of the waiters told us in advance that the asparagus was off the menu (and two of us had chosen something from the asparagus menu). We had starter, main course and dessert. There was a meal with pasta and truffles. And for the price it was a very small portion. Otherwise the food was tasty and sufficient. When we wanted to pay we told the waiter (he was bald with a slight stomach and wore a smartwatch and appeared arrogant) that we would pay separately. The waiter then rolled his eyes and then placed the bill on the table and disappeared. And then we figured it out ourselves. This waiter then took the money and the bill with him. And we got change back. But the waiter didn't come. We then turned to the waiter at the bar and said "That wasn't a tip!" And the boss then gave us the change back. This bad impression then stuck with us in the group. The impression of the restaurant and the food was good...but when you go out to eat you also expect a certain level of service and then you are happy to give a tip. But definitely not like that. Whether we'll go there again... questionable.

The truffle pasta is freshly tossed in a parmesan wheel, but it's not the best I've tasted so far. However, the ambience with candles and roses at the table is a perfect place for a romantic dinner!

Truffle pasta = super tasty, not as difficult as usual! Waiters were very attentive. Only when we paid, the bill was brought to us without asking... probably so that we could make room for the next ones 😅

I can't understand all the good reviews here, we were a large group, the service was completely overwhelmed, for example we asked in advance whether we should pay in cash or by card separately, they said please cash, we got extra money just that At the end everyone was told to please use a card, and then we were annoyed when some of us wanted to pay in cash. The food, I had the truffle pasta, the worst truffle pasta I've ever tried, totally watery and unfortunately the truffle wasn't fresh either. Unfortunately the tortellini was too little for the price and totally tasteless. (I didn't try the pizza, I can't say anything) Given that this restaurant is portrayed as chic online, we sat on plastic chairs that weren't particularly comfortable. We also waited over an hour for our food, one of our tables was taken away from us, moved 10cm away and two ladies sat down who were totally annoyed, understandably (after the couple who sat there first had already left because it was totally wrong you were seated so close to a huge group) overall it wasn't a nice evening, the only plus point was that they actually wished my girlfriend congratulations and even put on a song.

The best service I've had in a long time!

We (a couple) really enjoyed our evening at La Dolce Vita. We were warmly welcomed and shown to our place. The restaurant is cozy, but offers a great ambience. The service is attentive, friendly and accommodating, with an immediate Italian flair. Our food was very tasty, came promptly and was very fairly priced. Between the starter and the main course we were offered a break, the length of which we were allowed to decide. Absolutely no rush and very conducive to a relaxed evening. An express recommendation, we would love to come back!

I am impressed by the exceptionally good service. Had a lovely evening and would come again just because of the service. The truffle pasta is delicious. For me it was just a bit greasy and I don't need the rose on the plate. Next time I visit I would probably try something different. Pleasant atmosphere.

Price/performance ratio is not right. Starters too expensive, sole as the main course poorly filleted and only half of the other sole. Ambience quite nice.

There were 4 of us there this evening. We had anti pasti as a starter, and the main course was grilled scampi, truffle pasta, sea bream and lamb shank. For dessert there was a platter of various tiramesu. Everything a 10 out of 10. Aside from the delicious food, the service was also great. We'll definitely be back.

I was looking forward to the truffle pasta. But unfortunately I didn't get what you see so often in the pictures for the 20€. The portion was tiny and I barely had any truffles or parmesan on it. This made it taste relatively bland. The atmosphere there is also not very pleasant and the waiters almost snatch your plate away while you are still chewing. The rose we got at the end was sweet. But otherwise an absolutely bad price-performance ratio.

This is a special restaurant, the chef speaks a bit Italien but also English and German. The food is very good but expect a long meal. It takes much time between the different dishes. You can sit inside the restaurant but also outside in a heated tent.

Unfortunately we waited outside for 20 minutes with a reservation. Unfortunately, this really isn’t the “creamiest truffle pasta tossed in parmesan” (according to Instagram). There was hardly any taste or taste of parmesan. However, there was plenty of truffle on it :) The restaurant was just too crowded and hectic. Our waiter was very nice and we received a Prosecco on the house for the wait. Conclusion: This is our first and last time there.

There were 6 of us here and had a business dinner. You can quickly find a parking space in the area. Nevertheless, the restaurant is centrally located. The restaurant is typically Italian. We had several large starter platters and the main course was steak, pizza and fish. The dishes were all very well prepared. I can highly recommend the restaurant.

Everything was perfect here! Last Sunday I was out for a spontaneous dinner on Öder Weg and came across this restaurant. We were positively surprised in all respects. - The bread was very fine and varied - There was a small bruschetta appetizer on the house - the main courses were incredibly tasty and filling! The finest meat/fish, vegetables cooked to perfection - Afterwards we were brought a beautiful wooden box with a various selection of small Italian sweets/biscuits - then the waiter came to the house with two small tiramisu desserts in glasses and said goodbye to my friend and I with a pretty red rose. Everything was absolutely perfect! Great seating area outside with plenty of heaters and a cozy/chic atmosphere. Inside seemed a bit more cramped, but also cozy. We would like to come again!

We were there as a group. The food was tasty, although the portions were a bit small for the price. The truffle pasta at over 20 euros was very small. The waiters tried to be funny, but we found it rather unpleasant. After dessert we were left with the bill on the table, even though we actually wanted to drink something else. That gave us the feeling that we should leave now. The mood was therefore not very friendly. We won't go there anymore. There are much better Italians with charm.

There were four of us here. All around it was fine. I have to deduct a star from the nice service because it wasn't very attentive and you have to make yourself noticeable. This was particularly difficult for us because our table was in the very back corner. Although there was always a waitress in sight, there was no eye contact so that we could give a signal.

We were served very courteously, with a pinch of humor. There was a little attention from the house. Bread and a small snack. Which tasted very good. The lamb and selected pasta were also very tasty. The portion size is also sufficient. What made me very happy, since I don't drink alcohol, was that my cola was served in a nice glass. I have never experienced this kind of accommodation before. Thank you to the staff for the pleasant and attentive service without being intrusive. I would be happy to come back.

Essen ok, Service und Ambiente Katastrophe! Wir hatten einen Tisch reserviert und daraufhin den schlimmsten Tisch im ganzen Restaurant bekommen im Außenbereich direkt am Eingang. Die ganze Zeit war Durchgangsverkehr an unserem Tisch und außerdem war es sehr kalt, da die Abdeckung zum Außenbereich die ganze Zeit geöffnet war, da ständig Leute kommen und gehen. Ich hatte ein Kristallweizen bestellt und ein Hefeweizen bekommen. Ja, der Kellner hatte mich gefragt, ob das auch in Ordnung sei, aber bei einem Nein wäre mit Sicherheit ein blöder Spruch gekommen. So auch bei dem Hauptgang meiner Freundin. Bei Ihrem Fisch war leider eine Senf-Sahne Soße dabei, was sie nicht veträgt (es stand nicht auf der Karte, dass Sahne enthalten ist!). Auf unsere Bitte, das Gericht ohne Sahne zu erhalten, wurde zwar eingegangen, jedoch wurde uns daraufhin von 2 verschiedenen Kellnern noch einmal klar gemacht, das nächste Mal bei der Bestellung bitte besser aufzupassen. Außerdem wurde uns dafür ein Aufpreis von 4€ berechnet. Wir werden dieses Restaurant nie mehr besuchen.

Wie so oft wenn wir in Frankfurt sind, ob für ein Wochenende oder zur vorübernachtung zum Abflug vom Flughafen kehren wir hier gerne ein. Freundlich das Ambiente, sehr freundlich das Personal, gute Auswahl an Speisen und diese sehr lecker. Auch heute haben wir uns wieder sehr doll gefühlt und der Schnaps aufs Haus rundete den schönen Abend ab. Immer wieder gerne.

Wir waren mittags zum 3 Gänge Weihnachtsmenü dort. Es war sehr lecker, ein schönes Ambiente, sehr zuvorkommende und freundliche Bedienung und faire Preise. Sehr erfreuliche Überraschung. Also gerne wieder.

Für mich ist das der beste Italiener in Frankfurt. Es hat alles bis ins kleinste Detail gepasst. Der Karte ist sehr variationsreich, und die Preise sind sehr überraschend für die Qualität und die Lage ! Wir bekamen noch dazu viele Kleinigkeiten aufs Haus besonders zuvorkommend war die Rose und die Süßigkeit zum Schluss. Die Kellner sind sehr freundlich und immer für einen Spaß zu haben da kann man gar nicht genug Trinkgeld geben :)

Wir waren schon öfter im La Dolce Vita. Sehr schönes und gemütliches Ambiente. Menükarte ist selber schon sehr gut und dazu oft noch Tagesspezialitäten, immer lecker und top Qualität. Perfekt macht es der Service, immer gut gelaunt, freundlich und zuvorkommend. Hier kann man entspannt einen richtig schönen Abend verbringen und einfach genießen.

Excellent Italian restaurant serving outstanding food. The restaurant is quite cozy and warm. Lively general Italian! manager greeted us with a number of great wine and food selections. Everything was spot on delicious, great white wine, free small appetizers followed by parpadelle spaghetti and house salad. Bronzino grilled fish with potatoes and vegetables was fresh, tasty and excellent. Complementary grappa was a welcomed finishing touch. Pricey but great!

Sehr zuvorkommend und gutes Essen, auch wenn dort vieles schiefgeht. Im vegetarischen Gericht war ein Stück Schinken (uns war das egal aber sollte nicht passieren) und haben das falsche Getränk gebracht. In meiner Soße waren Tomaten, obwohl ich fragte ob diese drinnen seien (Unverträglichkeit) und man dies eigentlich verneinte. Bei meinem ersten Besuch wiederum ein Glas Wein übergeschüttet bekommen und ein anderer Gast ein ganzes Bier. Komme aber gern wieder, weil Ambiente, Freundlichkeit machen das wieder gut. Preisleistung ist auch super.

Erstklassige original italienische Küche, herzlicher und zuvorkommender Service. Ein wahres Stück Italien mitten in Frankfurt.

Es war alles super! Besser hätte es nicht sein können, die Trüffel Nudeln waren sehr lecker, von der Vorspeise die man bekommen hat, bis hin zum Service und Hauptgang war alles ein Träumchen. Die Bedienung war super aufmerksam und stets da, wenn man Fragen hatte. Freundlichkeit, Sauberkeit und gutes Essen wird hier groß geschrieben. Ich werde definitiv wieder kommen!

Wir waren mit einem befreundeten Paar letzte Woche hier zum Essen. Vorspeise und Zwischengang waren sehr lecker das Tomahawksteak konnte mich aber nicht überzeugen. Dafür waren die „Jungs“ im Service TOP. Wir schauen gerne mal wieder rein.

Hatte heute eine wundervolle Erfahrung im hier. Essen war super , vor allem die Trüffelpasta! Aber was mir am besten gefallen hat war der Service, die Kellner sind alle super lieb und so aufmerksam! Selten so einen guten Service gesehen in Frankfurt. Komme immer wieder gerne, eine große Empfehlung der Laden!!

Superfreundlicher Service Wir waren am zweiten Advent zu dritt dort. Eigentlich ein vier Gänge Gutschein mit Prosecco und candellight Dinner für zwei Personen. Wieder einmal ein Vier Gänge Menu genossen. Wirklich sehr gut. Der Gruß aus der Küche, die Nudeln mit Trüffel, der Fisch und der Nachtisch, nicht zu vergessen das rote Beete Carparchio. Dazu ein Prosecco und zu guter Letzt ein Grappa aufs Haus. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Die Trüffelpasta war super. An Trüffel wird echt nicht gespart! Jedoch war die Sauce zu wässrig und der Parmesan wurde echt nicht gut untergerührt. Dennoch 5 Sterne weil die Bedienung so freundlich ist. Es gab ein Tiramisu aufs Haus :)

Ein wunderschönes Ambiente … Das Personal sehr freundlich und humorvoll sympathisch :) Die Trüffel Pasta kann ich jedem nur weiter empfehlen.

Essen super, da zahlt man gerne etwas mehr aber 6,- Euro für eine Apfelsaft Schorle und 6,- Euro für ein Radler, jeweils 0,3 Liter, das ist Wucher . Da ist es ja auf der Wiesn in München günstig dagegen.

Viel zu lange Wartezeiten (1,5h für eine Pizza) trockene Gambas, überteuert, Service ist eher unfreundlich und sehr bestimmend.

Nie wieder! Der Tisch war um 19 Uhr reserviert. Unsere Freunde waren früher und hatten schon ihren Aperitif.Der Kellner brachte die Speisekarten. Und weg war er. Als er wieder kam und ich einen Aperitif bestellen wollte wurde ich rüde unterbrochen mit dem Satz: die Seniora bestellen zuerst die Vorspeise. Gemütlich erst mal was trinken, Fehlanzeige. Das Essen: Fleisch des Rinder capaccio schmeckte alt. Der Lachs war in einer undefinierbaren rosa Sauce ertränkt. Das Panacotta ungenießbar fade. Es war laut, in den Büschen draußen lag Müll. Die Kellner waren hecktisch, unfreundlich und unaufmerksam. Alles nach dem arroganten Motto: wir sind ein Ristaurante. Manchmal sind einfache Pizzerias besser. Das kann man in Frankfurt besser und günstiger haben.

Essen war ganz gut aber der service nicht. Es wurden einfach die Teller auf den Tisch gestellt ohne zu sagen was es ist und einen guten Appetit wurde auch nicht gewünscht. Letztendlich gab es noch ein limoncello aufs haus

WARNUNG! FALSCHE RECHNUNGEN (schon 3x). Wir haben bei 3 Besuchen jedes mal bemerkt, dass auf der Rechnung extra Sachen eingetragen werden oder die Preise verfälscht werden. Heute war ich das letzte Mal da. Als ich die Rechnung mehrfach mit anderen Personen am Tisch nachgerechnet habe war alles richtig, aber der Finale Wert war falsch (!) Alle Items stimmen, aber die Summe nicht. Was für ein mieser Trick. Nach dem Bezahlen wollte meine Frau aus Erfahrung prüfen und dann ist uns der neue Trick aufgefallen. Ich habe dann den Kellner gerufen und er hat sich sofort sichtlich ertappt verhalten und angeboten Geld zurück zu geben. "Kein Problem, ich hole das Geld zurück, ich hatte ja gefragt, ob der Wert so stimmt." Die Rechnung kommt aber ausgedruckt, was es unfassbar macht, dass die Summe dann falsch ist. Man geht ja davon aus, dass wenn alle Items stimmen, dass der Wert unten dann stimmt. Der Kellner ist mit der Rechnung weggegangen um das Geld zu holen. Nach 3 Minuten ist er dann mit dem Oberkellner gekommen und beide haben sich dumm gestellt. Es war dann auf einmal "die gleiche" Rechnung mit neuen Preisen die auf einmal gestimmt haben. Er hat dann drum gebeten nochmal zu rechnen und könne nicht verstehen, was los ist, weil die Maschine ja alles macht und alles stimmt. Beide haben aber merklich komisches Verhalten gezeigt und dem andern (dritten) Kellner konnte man ansehen, dass er gemerkt hat, dass der Betrug aufgefallen ist. Verschidene Personen hatten mehrfach kontroliert und die Kellner haben mit Sicherheit eine neue Rechnung ausgestellt und die Werte angepasst. Ich habe es dann dem Paar am nachbar Tisch gesagt, weil die auch grade bezahlt hatten und dann ist denen auch aufgefallen, dass auf deren Rechnung zu viele Items auf der Rechnung waren. Also auch hier wieder ein "Fehler". Bei uns die Summe falsch, beim Nachbartisch extra Items eingetragen. Der Mann hat dann beim rausgehen erzählt, dass das Restaurant einen sehr schlechten Ruf hat und viele Leute in der Nachbarschaft bereits Streit mit Rechnungen hatten. Es wird wohl oft versucht zu betrügen. Einem wird dabei mit einem Lächeln ein Limoncello angeboten, die Frauen werden bezirzt, alles ist ciao und va bene, und beim Zahlen wird man regelrecht eingelullt um ja nichts zu merken. Trinkgelt schlagen die übigens selber vor,...90,50 Euro,....machen wir 100 Euro, oder? (Der echte Preis laut Taschenrechner lag bei 71,40 Euro). Also einfach mal magisch um die 20 Euro untergejubelt plus 10 Euro Trinkgeld. Finger weg, schmierige Bedienung, fake freundlich und unsympathisch und dazu noch laufend am betrügen.
