Ristorante Italiano in Berlin

Went here spontaneously today. Service super friendly and competent. Ordered a mixed appetizer platter. Very generous for two people. The highlight was the garlic soup. Creamy and very well balanced in taste and not too overpowering.

First time in this restaurant. I ordered a starter package with my husband, it was very tasty, there was a lot of it and it tasted very good 👍

We came here spontaneously before a concert, unfortunately the food wasn't that good. Pizzas tasted very much like frozen and cheese cream sauce is probably the panacea for the pasta dishes.

On December 4th, 2024 we came to the Ristorante for a consultation with food and drinks. We asked for an extra room - which we got. There were 6 of us and we stayed there for a good 3 hours. The service was perfect, the food and drinks were delicious and plentiful. We felt very comfortable and can happily recommend the Ristorante and its staff. Thank you again for the time with you - many and pleasant guests for the future - we will be happy to come back. :-)

Short stop for a beer and Aperol. During our stay we noticed that the wrong food was being served at the tables to the left and right of us. We didn't eat ourselves and therefore can't give a review on this matter. The Aperol we ordered cannot be recommended, as the taste of the ice cube was just as aromatic as the drink. Actually, I would have complained about it because the price asked for it was a disgrace, but I didn't want to let Italian discussions spoil my anticipation of a good concert. To the service; Service was quick, but after receiving the bill we had to call for the service again because no one wanted our money. Our conclusion: Berlin certainly has better Italian restaurants and we will look for them.

Pizzas were very tasty! The staff was extremely friendly, the tables were made of beautiful wood and very well maintained, and it was generally very clean! I can highly recommend it! Will be our favorite restaurant in Berlin!

We ordered the salami pizza and it tasted of just cheese and salami, no spices at all. The dough reminded me of the pre-made kind you buy from the store... The sodas we got were barely cold. It was all unfortunately very bland. I wouldn't recommend this place if you're looking for good Italian pizza.

We looked for a small place to eat around the corner before the concert. The pizzas were very disappointing. No taste at all, not seasoned... Very disappointing. The staff was friendly, but didn't ask if everything was okay or if we wanted something more to drink... Absolutely no recommendation!!!

No frills pizza, just like defrosted from ALDI. Well, at least it's big. The service is a little clueless and also without any complaints. I don't regret it, but I won't come back either.

Lovely family run restaurant- great food and service - also open to midnight - will return next time I am in Berlin.

The food (pizza & pasta) came very quickly. The pizza was good, the pasta okay. Then the restaurant suddenly filled up. Reordering drinks took a long time. All in all it was okay. What's not possible - the toilets! A door is broken and therefore cannot be locked, order and cleanliness - well... A little fresh paint on the wall would also be okay.

Large restaurant and already overwhelmed with a registered group of 15 people... Food underground...

First of all: really bad! Order: 2 pizza salami, two mixed salads and two beers. Get: Two warm beers, two iceberg salads with a few pieces of tomato each and almost no dressing. Pizza with ham instead of salami was served. Quality overall poor. 57 euros for the dirt. Pizza looked like a frozen supermarket pizza and was still cool in the middle. Do yourself and your loved ones a favor and stay away from this so-called pizzeria. By the way, the staff constantly ignored us after serving the food and we had to wait forever for change.

This is a complete disappointment. We were there with three friends. I ordered a vegetable salad with chicken. They brought a large plate of salad that was 95% chopped iceberg lettuce with balsamic vinegar, but there was very little of it. The salad itself was very wet as it was washed before being placed on the plate. I have never eaten a more tasteless salad. Friends ordered spaghetti, they said it was “ok”. However, the spaghetti didn't look as good as in other Italian restaurants. The distance between our table and the other two was about 40 cm, we had to speak quietly so as not to disturb our neighbors. I do not recommend visiting this establishment.

Today I was at Ristorante Italiano with my husband, had vegetarian lasagna and pasta and it was 100% delicious, the atmosphere was very good and the service is always friendly and attentive. So nothing to complain about from our side, we can only recommend this 👍👍👍

We ate spagetti carbonara and spagetti scrimps. Tomato soup starter. The food was very tasty. Hot and the portions were completely sufficient. The service was very friendly and quick. The tiramisu was awesome. Very relaxed. The tiramisu and the white bread for the soup are homemade! We felt very comfortable. The price-performance ratio is very good. We would love to come back and look forward to sitting outside next summer. Please keep it up. We will happily recommend the restaurant.

I bought a Pizza Margaretha for my daughter on hand for 11.00 euros. I was under the impression that it was a frozen pizza. It was very quick and visually it still looked freshly made. Maybe some food other than pizza. Service was super nice and friendly.

The food tastes very good. To be honest, I was influenced by the bad reviews, but in reality it's not like that at all. The waiter is very nice. I definitely recommend this restaurant

I ordered spaghetti aglio e olio (spicy) and my daughter ordered a children's pizza margherita. Pizza was sweetly made (as bunnies) but unfortunately very little toppings for the price of €8.50. I had to return my spaghetti twice because nothing was spicy. No chili, no oil, nothing. On the second plate only some peppers and a piece of lettuce were placed on the plates, but it was the same as before. A waiter explained to me that the waitress barely spoke German and understood that I didn't like it spicy. It's a shame that the blame was placed on her. I went home really hungry and disappointed.

We've been here sometimes and our satisfaction has been underwhelming in the past, but ok. 😉 However, today's visit was quite sobering. Because the prices have risen a lot, unfortunately - without any other change! 😞 This means that service, cleanliness, cooking and friendliness unfortunately only remained average. The standard (dirty tablecloth, shabby table, moderately friendly service, bottle of water placed on the table at a low level, no high level of cooking, etc.) no longer matches the prices quoted! Too bad! But perhaps - as other users have already noted - it is not important because regular guests are not valued, as enough guests from surrounding hotels are enough... Too bad too! The spaghetti with scrimps were not well prepared and were also swimming in oil - thumbs down for the price! The Spinaci pizza, on the other hand, was pleasingly good.

Quite cozy but unfortunately close to the street. Orders went very quickly but far too often the wrong drink or dish was brought. The dough for the pizza didn't fit at all and there weren't enough toppings. Size is OK. Pasta dishes are sufficient portions. All other dishes too few side dishes.

We always enjoy coming here. The food is very good and requests are catered for. The service is friendly and quick. We will definitely spend many more wonderful hours there. A comment on some of the other reviews. How can I rate a restaurant based on just one name? I don't rate Nauen badly either. Other reviews here are just ridiculous. Frozen pizza from Rewe... Do you really know the difference? Please all be fair and say on the spot if you didn't like it. every restaurateur is struggling, they ALL deserve fairness. I, for one, am looking forward to many more wonderful evenings with the Italiano team.

I would never go there just because of the horrible name "Restaurant and Italiano". It's just embarrassing. It's a shame for Nauen. So I can't form an opinion about the restaurant itself.

We ordered pizza, calzone, pasta and salad and quality didn't match with higher price. Service was rather normal, atmosphere for lunch standard (nothing extra ordinary).

A beautiful outside terrace with green plants near the Ostbahnhof. There is also a loving and familiar feeling in the interior of the Italian restaurant. The food is always excellent and very well prepared and prepared by the chef and, last but not least, great service and entertaining waiter, who for ME reflects the good soul of the restaurant and makes every visit an experience. An Italian restaurant in Berlin that you have to “taste”. 3 times 5 stars and thank you for the great time

Located right on the street and unfortunately not very comfortable. The staff was very accommodating, nice and quick (partly because it wasn't busy). Unfortunately there was a very small selection of vegetarian dishes and the food was quite okay. The prices were right.

Friendly, inexpensive and mediocre dishes that you would find in similar restaurants, no special products, the restaurant sells and prepares Italian dishes but no one is Italian there. But you can eat there on a beautiful corner of Berlin.

The restaurant is absolutely not Italian, neither the food nor the people who work there. They don't have a clue about Italian dishes, since when does carbonara have cream and ham? I'm Italian so don't cheat me.

Very unfriendly service with an evil look and fake smile. Even though it was completely empty, people were processed quickly. The cards were quickly snatched out of the hand. I thought about ordering more, but I wasn't given the time to think about it. We ordered a pizza for the family to share and drinks and didn't receive any cutlery. The waitress had deliberately given me the wrong information for her benefit, even though I had already given a relatively large tip. The pizza was ok, but what's the point of eating if you don't feel welcome. We left very quickly. The pizzeria is on a very busy 5 lane road, so the atmosphere was rather loud. I would have found it less bad if the service had been normally friendly. I don't want to go here again. Very unsympathetic and strange overall.

Overall a pretty bad pizzeria. A Coke Zero was ordered and a Coke Light was delivered without prior agreement and in a rude tone. The salad is also a disgrace. €11.50 for canned tuna with some iceberg lettuce. The portion size is also far too small for the price. It was given 2 stars because of the average pizza. Acceptable size and price, but the pizza toppings were skimped on and it is a bit greasy.

I ate there once and the food wasn’t anything special for the price. A frozen pizza from the grocery stores taste better than their pizza. They recently installed some extremely bright lights outside the restaurant, that is totally nonsense for an Italian restaurant where you are supposed to have soft and comfortable lights. I leave close by and my eyes hurt when I need to look at these newly installed lights. It’s horrible.

You can tell that the location at the velodrome helps you not have to rely on regular guests. It was a mass dispatch. The prices don't match the quality offered either. The service seems stressed and is not particularly friendly. So we definitely won't eat here again!

Very good food and extremely good service

The house dressing for the salad felt like it was balsamic vinegar diluted with water and the bread that went with it was some strange, limp white bread that had a consistency reminiscent of chewing gum. The salami pizza was oversalted and came late because the staff forgot about it. And instead of the Pino Grigio I ordered, Chardonnay came. The friendliness of the staff was okay, but they didn't understand everything that was said, so the Berliner Weisse we ordered only came after we asked. To pay you had to go to the counter and there was a long queue. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this pizzeria at all.

We arrived there spontaneously because we were going to an event at the Velodrome. It was a bit busy there because a lot of people had reserved and therefore there were no free tables and so some people were sent back. Luckily we were able to get a spot. Service was great and we really enjoyed the pizza, which arrived within 10 minutes! I haven't eaten so well in a long time.

We didn't like it. Food came and we didn't even have all the drinks. Pizza seemed like it was already completely prepared. Just put it in the oven and on the table. It was not possible to order more drinks. When the table book time was over, you were basically no longer served and had to pay so that the next people could come in. Fully designed for quick money. Unfortunately I can't recommend it.

We pre-booked a table but apparently the reservation wasn't recorded. Table limited to a maximum time but okay. Food came very quickly but the potatoes tasted like they were 3 days old and the cream sauce was not edible. Unfortunately, the waitress was a bit overwhelmed and started clearing away drinks even though they were still half full. All in all, unfortunately not recommended, but everyone has to form their own opinion😅

Chicken is very bitter, burnt, very disgusting. Overcrowded and very little space. A dish was swapped and the new one was also forgotten. The chef apparently didn't have time to fold the calzone, according to the waiter, but you feel welcome.

Kuscheliger Italiener um die Ecke, Basic Pizza und Pasta, alles sehr lecker und flott serviert. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir kamen als Gruppe mit 7 Freunden zum Einklang für einen Junggesellenabschied im Escape-Room (150 Meter entfernt). Bedienung sollte dringend mal n Deutschkurs machen oder ausgetauscht werden. Unfreundlich, Unflexibel, verwirrt und inkompetent. 7 Hauptgerichte bestellt mit "Tageszutaten" das sollten Kartoffeln und gemischtes Gemüse sein - die Extrawünsche mussten hart erkämpft werden und sind dann auf den falschen Tellern gelandet, die beschriebene Gemüsebeilage fehlte gänzlich. Ich selbst hatte also einfach nur n trockenes, nicht geklopftes oder selbst paniertes Schnitzel mit Pommes, kein Gemüse. Eindeutig Fertigschnitzel aus der TK - da dürfte die Marge so bei 500% liegen. Vodka ungenießbar - zimmerwarm und wiederlich. Limoncello - künstliche Farbe Geschmack wie Nimm2 Bonbons. Also zusammenfassend, wer keine hohen Ansprüche an Service oder mittelpreisige Speisen unterster Güte legt, der ist hier richtig, alle anderen sollten einen riesen Bogen um dieses "Restaurant" machen.

The food wasn't really good, I ordered gnocchi, hoping that I couldn't go wrong, but here it was actually like that... many of my gnocchi weren't cooked through but were very firm or undercooked A pity

We were 2 adults and 2 children aged 8 and ate for around DKK 500. It was really delicious and can definitely be recommended.

The store was in good condition, the food tasted good, and the service was also good. Toilets need to be reworked a bit. So 4/5 stars 🌟

Since the kebab was a little further away, we decided to go to Ristorante Italiano. It was very crowded, but we got a seat very quickly. Conditions friendly and nice working together among the waiters. Can recommend further.

Four of us went in there because we spontaneously wanted to have a drink. We said straight away that we just wanted something to drink. Apparently it didn't go down well. We were served but very listlessly. We then ordered bruschetta because we were feeling a little hungry. That was very delicious! When my buddy and I went towards the toilet, an employee pointed out to us that I (woman) had to go to the toilet on the left and he (man) had to go to the toilet on the right. At first I thought it was meant to be funny, but the employee's face was deadly serious. Don't know what to think of it. 3 stars because the food was really very good. Otherwise there would have been fewer. Didn't feel welcome. A pity

Portions far too small for the price, dessert for €7.5 is a joke. When I asked where the cream was, the dessert was brought out shortly afterwards with cream and placed on the table with the words “satisfied now?” Pretty outrageous. No bread, no olives, no schnapps as a farewell. Very unfortunate. Unfortunately it has nothing to do with Italian hospitality. Save yourself a lot of money.

Tasty food and big portions, very good for the price. I paid 31 euros for a big starter plate, a spaghetti carbonara and a small glass of Jack Daniels. Staff is friendly & direct. I paid contactless by card without issues. Very quite on a Tuesday evening which was also nice.

Very good Italian restaurant (by Italian’s). Warm and friendly staff. Good service. Great food. Quality sizes and portions. Decent prices. We are here twice during our stay as it was convenient to our hotel. Both times the service and food were consistent and good the staff remembered us and gave a warm welcome. Decent carbonara (although made with cream - as well as Parmesan & egg), good pizza, tasty tiramisu (light and creamy - slightly different to a heavy/boozy tiramisu). Good melon & prosciutto. Good coffee. Wine served by glass or caraffa.

Toller Italiener, cool eingerichtet, sehr gutes Essen, superfreundliche Bedienung.

Das Restaurant wird von Albanern betrieben, keinen Italienern. Italienische Wörter werden trotzdem genutzt, was etwas Fake und gestellt wirkt. Essen ist normal, schmeckt nicht schlecht aber auch nicht besonders gut. Preise auch eher hoch für die Qualität Insgesamt eher nicht empfehlenswert, ist kein echter Italiener

Tipico ristorante in stile "Little Italy". Il personale non è italiano e i piatti non sono confrontabili con quelli della nostra tradizione, anche se ci assomigliano... La pizza si salva in corner, rispetto a molte altre di Berlino.

Carbonara pasta is deceiving. No real bacon or guanciale (is just cooked ham), no pepe and is done with cream instead of yolks and parmiggiano.also no extra cheese on the side The service was not unfriendly but also not friendly.
