For me one of the best pizzerias I know. Delicious pizza, friendly service, tables lovingly set, cloth napkin, small starter and a grappa on the house. The prices are quite moderate. Especially lunch during the week. Keep it up

We spent the evening in "Italia", an Italian restaurant that exudes a bit of the charm of the Italian restaurants from the eighties in West Germany. The service was friendly and the prices were surprisingly reasonable. As a greeting from the kitchen there were toasted slices of bread with a garlic and herb cream - very tasty. I started with a cream of mushroom soup (6 euros), which was wonderfully creamy and flavorful. I then chose the "Pasta alla Chef": pasta cooked three times al dente, served with three different sauces. One was a kind of bolognese with peas, the second a cream sauce with broccoli and ham, and the third a tomato sauce with vegetables. Nothing was fancy, but everything was very tasty and unbeatable for the price. Mr. P's pizza was also delicious old school, topped with lots of cheese. At the end there was a limoncello, grappa or espresso on the house - a nice touch. A top shop for everyone who likes “old school” Italian cuisine and wants to eat cheaply. Four out of five penne!

Telephoning in public spaces via video telephony with loud speech and counter-speech has become a nuisance of indiscretion and noise pollution, which, if it is caused by the employees of a restaurant, is obviously not allowed to be defended against, because at Italia we were not too late long time ago because of this complaint, after 30 years of being a regular customer, I was referred to the hotel by the manager's wife. The torrent of words with which she bombarded us expressed that she had apparently long been offended by the fact that we had often asked for better protection for non-smokers. Unfortunately, this is still handled very laxly in this place today. As a rule, doors to rooms where people smoke are left open and the smoke drifts into the cloakroom and the guest tables. So far, this has not affected our loyalty to the house; as I said, we have only asked for the relevant doors to be closed in such cases. When we said goodbye, our favorite waiter had tears in his eyes. We have now heard from various quarters that complaints about the lady are increasing. For us, Italia is history. Luckily, there is once again the small, fine Italian restaurant at Möncheplatz whose pizzas are absolutely outstanding.

As always, the food was okay, but we were very disappointed with the service. It was a Saturday evening and very crowded but if you go to a restaurant you should still feel welcome. This was absolutely not the case and you were just processed quickly and hectically. Unfortunately, an on-site visit is no longer possible.

So far I'm very happy, only when it's very crowded is the noise level very high for me. But I feel that way for myself, but it doesn't have to be that way for the general public.

We ate here last Saturday on the recommendation of a friend who comes from Einbeck. We came here spontaneously and didn't have a reservation. It was quite crowded. Nevertheless, there was room for us. Overall, my personal impression of the staff was “wanted, but not able”. In several situations, whether talking to customers right next to us or bringing food/drink to the table, it was noticed that the employees wanted to do everything correctly, but in 90% of the cases they didn't manage to do it. For example, a customer was either rudely interrupted by three different employees, was not allowed to finish, or was disinterested. I come from a service background and something like that doesn't work. These were all situations that could have been resolved in a friendly and polite manner. Even when we were brought “a greeting from the kitchen” (at least I assume that was what it was) the plates were simply slapped onto our table without a comment. No sound was said. When I wanted to ask, the employee had already turned around and disappeared. The appetizer that followed came very quickly and also impressed us with its taste. We were very satisfied and excited about the main course. This also came relatively quickly, and I was pleasantly surprised considering the store was so full. The positive didn't last long. When my pasta plate arrived, it was only lukewarm, almost cold. The sauce and the pasta in general also tasted more like canned pasta from the supermarket. Which in itself isn't necessarily a bad thing, but I expect something different in a restaurant. My husband had a calzone that was very well filled. Which isn't necessarily a positive thing here either, because there was almost only one of the ingredients in it and it looks more like meat salad inside the filled pizza. The cost factor was appropriate for the performance. We paid around €38 for a starter, two main courses, a large water and a juice. But we won't be coming back.

Freundlicher Empfang, leckere Gerichte die schnell und gut zubereitet werden. Vorweg eine Kleinigkeit vom Haus. Hier bekommen wir immer auch spontan einen Tisch.

We had pizza and pasta. The pizza was basically okay, but the toppings were careless. In the case of the carbonara, the egg had curdled. The service was great! Fast and friendly.

We were served cold pizza, the dough was anything but fresh and limp. The topping was anything but fresh. Never again.

The ambience of the restaurant is unfortunately left in the 80s and could use some refreshing. However, the food was really good and what you would expect from an Italian restaurant. The menu is very extensive and leaves little to be desired. The service was great and actually consisted exclusively of real Italians. Price performance level is very good. We also received a small greeting from the kitchen and plenty of side bread, a pizza bread without toppings. The bread was really very good - warm, freshly baked. Delicious! Recommendation from me!

Cozy Italian restaurant in the city of Einbeck. We were there on a Sunday evening and the restaurant was busy. Already a good sign. We were warmly greeted in Italian (by all the staff) as we should be. Very nice...you immediately feel welcome and like you're on vacation in Italy. ;) The service was very good, friendly and very quick, with well-organized processes. On the one hand it's good...on the other hand it went almost a little too quickly for us if you want to spend a slightly longer evening. Plate away, new plate in...perhaps you could ask if the next course should be started immediately, as a small hint. The table next to us said "please wait a little longer before the main course", they probably already knew that. But that's complaining at a high level. ;) We ordered the Vino della Casa once Bianco, once Rosso and a bottle of San Pellegrino. Both wines are dry and very good for a house wine. STARTERS: We shared the No. 4 "Tris di Antipasti" a mixed starter plate and were not disappointed! We were given the platter and each of us a separate plate on which a bruschetta was already decorated for each of us. Top! Vegetables, capaccio and vitello tonnato tasted very good, the buchetta was one of the best I've had so far! Worth mentioning is the really delicious bread made from pizza dough!! If I can make a wish...please put it in advance with a little olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt and fresh basil. That would be a dream! :))) MAIN COURSES: We both decided on a rump steak, once No. 123 "Bistecca alla Jörgi" and once No. 120 "Bistecca Contadina". Side dishes and vegetables were very tasty and the meat was medium rare. However, we were not asked beforehand how we would like the meat. So if you like English or more, you should mention that yourself. ;) We decided not to have dessert because of the strong feeling of fullness, but that would have been great too. ;) At the end there was a generous Marsala on the house. Bottom up! CONCLUSION: We will definitely come back!

Here you immediately feel like you are in Italy. The food was perfect, the service was always friendly with Italian friendliness. A lunch menu is offered here, which you shouldn't eat if you want to move around afterwards. It's a hell of a lot. Lunch consists of soup or a small salad. The salad is actually a meal in itself. The salad dressing that comes in a terrine is a legend. The main course is pasta, which you can choose from the entire menu. I've eaten quite a few and none have disappointed me. For dessert there is delicious panacotta. But I can also highly recommend everything else on the menu. Be sure to try the gigantic salad plates. In the evening it is best to make a reservation as it is full every evening. I can highly recommend this restaurant.

Das Telefonieren im öffentlichen Raum per Face-Time mit lauter Rede und Gegenrede ist ein Ärgernis an Indiskretion und Lärmbelästigung geworden, gegen das man sich, wenn es von Mitarbeitern eines Restaurants verursacht wird, offenbar nicht wehren darf, denn im Italia, in dem wir bisher Vicenzo Palomba für die Führungskraft hielten, wurden wir soeben aufgrund dieser Beschwerde nach 30 Jahren Stammkundschaft von seiner Frau des Hauses verwiesen. Wir kamen, wie so oft, am späten Nachmittag des durchgehend geöffneten Samstags zu einem teils privaten teils geschäftlichen Essen zusammen. Treffen dieser Art fanden an diesem Ort ungezählte Male statt, auch im Rahmen privater Feiern, rein beruflicher Begegnungen oder einer Zusammenkunft im Freundeskreis. Das Haus verfügt über zwei große offene Gasträume, von denen einer nur bei großem Gastaufkommen in Betrieb ist. In diesen hätte man sich heute mit dem Bedürfnis, privat zu telefonieren, jederzeit zurückziehen können. Stattdessen wurde dreimal hintereinander lauthals im Gastraum telefoniert, was zu einem permanenten Hintergrundgeräusch aus aufgeregter Rede und blecherner Gegenrede führte, die zunehmend den zu dem Zeitpunkt geschäftlichen Teil unseres Gespräches störte. Ich kontaktierte daraufhin eine zum Haus gehörige Dame, die ihre Privatkontakte ungeniert und ausführlich hinter der Theke pflegte. Auf meine Bitte hin explodierte sie in Aggression, gebärdete sich wie eine wilde Furie, stürmte davon, kam zurück, knallte unsere Rechnung auf den Tisch und verwies uns umgehend des Hauses. Wie wir erfuhren, handelte es sich um die Gattin des Geschäftsführers, mit der wir bisher keine Bekanntschaft gemacht hatten. Wohl aber schien sie uns zu kennen, denn in dem kaum verständlichen Wortschwall, mit dem sie uns überzog, kam zum Ausdruck, dass sie offenbar seit längerem Anstoß daran nahm, dass wir bereits des Öfteren um besseren Nichtraucherschutz gebeten haben. Leider wird damit an diesem Ort sehr lax umgegangen. In der Regel stehen Türen zu Räumen, in denen geraucht wird, offen, und der Rauch zieht in die Garderobe und an die Gasttische. Das hat unserer Treue zum Haus aber bisher keinen Abbruch getan, wir haben, wie gesagt, lediglich in solchen Fällen um das Schließen der entsprechenden Türen gebeten. Bei unserem Abschied von unserem Lieblingskellner Domenico hatte dieser Tränen in den Augen. Erst von ihm erfuhren wir, um wen es sich bei der cholerischen Dame handelt. Signore Palomba hat sich offenbar das Ruder aus der Hand nehmen lassen. Das Ristorante Italia ist nach 30 Jahren für uns Geschichte. Schade.

Ein Traum in Einbeck, beste Adresse!! Waren mit 5 Pers. mittags dort zum Geburtstag -Menü ,der eingedeckteTisch hat uns herzlich empfangen. Das Küchenteam zauberte ein hervorragendes Menü, Speisen und Service auf den Punkt.Vorab gab's einen tollen Gruß und nach dem Hauptgericht ein leckeren Dessert aus der Küche.Ein herzliches Dankeschön an das gesamte Team für den unvergessenen Nachmittag.Wir sehen uns recht bald wieder , Ingo und Hartmut!!!

Ein sehr schönes Lokal mit besten Service.

Nach dem Besuch des PS-Speichers war ich dort Essen. Es gab Bandnudeln mit Broccolie und Bolognese in Sahnesauce. War sehr lecker und kann ich absolut empfehlen. Als Nachtisch gab es ein Eis ala Mousse au Chocolate.

Einbeck ist eine der schönen alten Kleinstädte, die ihr eigenes Gesicht seit Jahrzehnten gewahrt haben - immer wieder scheint es, als wäre die Zeit hier stehen geblieben. Für dieses Lokal gilt das ebenfalls: Schon am Eingang steht zu lesen, dass es seit 1979 besteht (es könnte zu den damals ersten italienischen Restaurants In Deutschland gehört haben) und die Verbindung zur alten Heimat der Betreiber wird auch aufrecht erhalten (z.B. wird auf besondere Abendveranstaltungen mit italienischem Flair hingewiesen und auf die Verbundenheit mit einem Fußballverein in Neapel). Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich, mit einer kleinen Vorspeise wie selbstverständlich, und das Essen ist so toll, wie es nur nach original-italienischen Rezepten sein kann. Die Preise sind - bei Nudeln oder Pizza - sehr angemessen, nur die Fleischgerichte fallen ziemlich hoch aus. Das Lokal ist viel größer, als es von außen wirkt: Ich war mittags dort und hätte auch ohne Reservierung sicher einen Tisch bekommen.

Italienisches Kult-Restaurant in der Region, hier schmeckt es immer! Der Service ist freundlich und aufmerksam, das Ambiente gemütlich und das Essen lecker und frisch, egal ob zum Abholen oder bei Besuch im Restaurant. Macht weiter so!

Der Balsamico-Essig war zu sauer meiner Meinung nach. Das Essen war früher besser. Der Service hat leider auch nachgelassen. Alles in allem kann man das Restaurant empfehlen, allerdings nur, wenn man nicht wirklich hohe Ansprüche hat.

Lecker italienisches Essen. Leider ist noch alles auf sehr viel Fleisch ausgelegt. Es gab zur Mittagskarte einen Salat vorweg und der kam als Standart mit Schinken. Schade, so konnte ich ihn nicht essen. Vegetarisches Angebot "könnte" erweitert werden. Aber ansonsten ist alles sehr lecker.

Essen ist gut. Ansonsten ist es laut, eng und das Essen ist superschnell serviert. Man wird auch nicht mehr gefragt ob man noch was bestellen möchte. So können die Tische oft wieder besetzt werden. Es fehlt an Gemütlichkeit.

Bei diesem Restaurant ist alles stimmig. Das einzige was ich zu bemängeln habe sind die unbequemen Stühle die seit Jahren die selben sind. Auf jeden Fall bleiben wir deswegen nie länger als nötig. Gemütlichkeit gehört für mich zu einem guten Restaurant. Die Stühle sind mega hart! Sonst alles tip top.

Waren mit einer großen Gruppe dort, Menschen mit Behinderungen....wir wurden sehr toll bedient und dafür möchte ich mich nochmals hier bedanken, Essen war lecker....

Wir waren heute da und sehr enttäuscht, alle Gerichte (Pasta) mit sehr viel Sahne, Personal sehr unfreundlich und die Preise sind sehr überzogen.

Portionen werden stetig kleiner, Preise werden teurer. Man hat das Gefühl nach dem Essen fast rausgeschmissen zu werden. In Ruhe noch etwas trinken, ohne Sicht zu fühlen, als ob man stört ist nicht möglich. Die Stühle sind schon seit Anbeginn der Zeit prädestiniert dazu, den nächsten Bandscheibenvorfall auszulösen…

Wie immer eine Freude - einen Michelin Stern wird es hier nicht geben - wird aber auch nicht angestrebt. Die Atmosphäre ist großartig und mehr als italienisch und das Essen solide. Danke Vince

Nach 25 Jahren wieder hier gegessen. Es war genauso lecker wie früher.

Wir waren nur einmal dort auf Empfehlung. Wird bestimmt nicht das letzte Mal gewesen sein. Gruß aus der Küche und Nachtisch sind im Preis mit drin.Das Essen war köstlich und es gab keine langen Wartezeiten. Der Chef hat dann noch gefragt, ob wir zufrieden waren. Und wie!

Wir waren nach der standesamtlichen Trauung meiner Spezischwiegertochter und meines Stiefsohnes dort.Das Restaurant wird von einem ehemaligen Bad Lauterberger betrieben,sehr guter Service, sehr gutes Essen, sehr gutes Ambiente. Die Freundlichkeit die einem da entgegen kommt, finde ich klasse aber das kenne ich auch nicht anders! Kleine Grüße aus der Küche vorher und nachher und der Marsala mit Sahne am Ende rundeten den Tag perfekt ab!Preis Leistung absolut ok für die Qualität die man dort bekommt! Wer mal in Einbeck ist,warum auch immer, ein Besuch lohnt sich! 1 mit ********** Kleines Manko, ohne Reservierung sollte man dort nicht hingehen😊

Sehr lecker, Essen ist sehr zu empfehlen. Leider war die Akustik nicht sehr angenehm da es sehr laut war (voll besetztes Lokal) Aber zu trotzdem eine 5 Sterne Bewertung !!

Unser Stammitaliener in Einbeck. Vom Ambiente her etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber dennoch schön. Meinen Hauptgang fand ich dieses Mal nicht so prall (Tortellini mit Hackfleischsoße und Schinken) aber der Vorspeisenteller, sowie das kleine Brot vorweg und die Panacotta hinterher waren top. Service immer top, egal, wie viel los ist. Einfach eine Empfehlung für einen ganz tollen herzlichen und leckeren Italiener.
