Wir in den letzten 2 Jahren sicherlich über 10 Mal zu Gast im Kl Tartufo. Am 30. Oktober feierten wir mit unserer großen Deutsch-italienischen Familie den Geburtstag meiner Frau und hatten einen wunderschönen Abend mit super authentischen italienischen Gerichten zu absolut fairen Preisen. Auch das ganze Serviceteam leistet hier außerordentliches und lässt uns wie zu Hause fühlen. Wir werden auch in den nächsten Jahren Stammgäste bleiben.

Man kann nur telefonisch oder vor Ort reservieren. Preis Leistung sehr gut. Grosszügige Portionen. Service schnell aber nicht wirklich herzlich. Wirklich willkommen haben wir uns nicht gefühlt.

Haben mit unseren Freunden hier einen Abend verbracht. Ein schöner Laden aber ser laut und man sitzt sehr eng. Leider hatte unser Kellner einen schlechten Tag und war Bockig. Er schmiss Teller unsd Besteck schimpfend auf einen neu einzudecken Tisch . Essen kam schnell trotz vollem Laden was sehr positiv war. Essen war gut aber nichts besonderes . Wer den Kopf hob sah das das Putzen leider nur in Augenhöhe gemacht wurde .

Nice restaurant is well done. Food is nothing special. Waiter was grumpy and stubborn. Toilet very dirty as were the lamps at our table. Unfortunately, the seating is very tight and when the store is full you can't follow a conversation. You will be given an exact time window for eating. So eat, pay and go. Comfortable is different.

The food is very good, authentic Italian with al dente pasta, just a bit expensive, except for the pizzas. The pizzas are rather average in terms of quality and also in terms of price. Service also very good.

The staff is very friendly and attentive. My dog ​​got something to drink straight away, I like that kind of thing. Large selection of Italian dishes. I was very impressed with the pasta with truffles. The volume is also pleasant, you can have a good conversation. Gladly again

World class spaghetti carbonara according to the original recipe, the best I have eaten so far. A poem for the palate and worth every cent.

I don't understand why everyone is highlighting the place so much. Went there because of the good reviews and left disillusioned. Food was good but not exceptional. The service wasn't actually present and the atmosphere was rather sad. In terms of price, the restaurant is clearly not in the lower price range. For me, the price and performance are much better elsewhere.

Excellent food, Italian word 🙂 the carbonara with bacon... top! Also very good with wine. Not very good regarding the environment and friendliness, or rather the welcome. I stayed two days in Köln, and I returned to dine at this place twice, because it really deserves it. After the first evening, in which I must admit that I was helped by the staff to find a table, I immediately realized that it was better to book for the following evening, and so I did. Then when I arrive a lady greets me with a "no, we are fully booked". Luckily another waiter remembers my reservation and seats me upstairs. I eat well, savoring the pasta carbonara for the second time. Then I'll go down and I'd like to have a coffee, perhaps with a good grappa... oh no, stress is looming, the message is clear: here's the bill, bezahlen ja? of the series ... get out of the way because we are full of people. Well, good for you! For me as a customer for two consecutive evenings a little less though. Noisy environment and annoyingly frenetic atmosphere, far from that of real Italian trattorias ☝ So I can't give five stars, which are well deserved for the cuisine (compliments to the chef 👨‍🍳), but four stars in my opinion are worth it.

Cozy Italian restaurant in the heart of Cologne. Three of us ate there. Bruschetta below average with tomato slices including stalk. So I don't know the taste of the starter Vitello Tonnato for €16.90, but the portion size is an absolute disgrace. We also had 3 pizzas that were really very good compared to the starters. Service so far good and nice.

Wir waren mit 4 Personen dort und hatten lange vorher reserviert.Am Eingang wurden wir schon gefragt,ob wir mehr wie 2 Stunden zum Essen benötigen.Das war mehr wie unhöflich!!! Das Essen war blitzschnell da,nach etwa 10 Minuten.War wohl alles vorgefertigt,um schnell abzufertigen.Es war gut,aber nicht so,wie wir es uns vorgestellt hatten.Im Internet kam alles feiner und gemütlicher rüber.Fazzit ...nä,datt war et net.Da hätte dat Häz jefehlt

Great! The food is very good, but my personal highlight is the many, really well put together natural wines. Also positive, you can make binding appointments via email, which is not always a given. The prices are good and you get good quality. In any case, we had a very great evening there

The il tartufo is a real recommendation. Four of us recently ate here and we were all very satisfied. In addition to the nice atmosphere, the very friendly and competent service, the dishes we ordered were all excellent. We had the pasta with truffle, spaghetti bolognese and as a starter the tartufo platter. Be sure to reserve a table; getting something spontaneously is difficult. The starters were really tasty, monkfish carpaccio etc. The service wasn't attentive at all. He didn't feel like it. Zero attention.

We haven't had something this delicious in a long time!!! eaten. Really an absolute recommendation, absolutely great value for money and the service was also very nice and courteous! When we are back in Cologne we will definitely come back!!! If you have something to complain about, it's just the ambience, unfortunately we had a table on the aisle. Since it was very crowded, there was a lot of traffic in the hallway and if you sit right there it can be very annoying.

One of the best restaurants in Cologne! We always enjoy coming here to eat. Nobody can prepare truffle pasta as well as here. The food is fabulous and the waiters are always very friendly and attentive. This is definitely a place that I would happily recommend.

The restaurant offers everything you need for a standard Italian evening for two or four. As soon as the group gets larger or special requests are expressed, the guest is in for an adventure. Much is promised and little is delivered. Instead of apologizing for mistakes (which can happen), you are theatrically blamed in the open. An unpleasant and inhospitable behavior.

The pasta was delicious. The carbonara was the best or the scampa was the best. The restaurant is deeper than you think and the atmosphere was amazing . And a woman server always smiled also the Panna cotta was the best dessert I've ever had

Absolutely incredible. I usually don’t leave reviews but this amazing carbonara made me do. I had bruschetta and carbonara and both were amazing. The portion was also perfect, so are the atmosphere and the service. Highly recommended.

A restaurant that is second to none. I don't even know where to start. You walk in and smells like basil, rosemary and parsley immediately hit you, as if you were standing in Nonna's kitchen in Italy. The atmosphere is rustic, as befits an Italian restaurant. The selection is phenomenal – not too much and not too little. The Linguine al Tartufo and the Pizza al Tartufo are to die for. Sure, the price isn't cheap, but it's worth every cent because they don't skimp on the truffles and the portions are great. The hospitality is hard to beat. They always keep an eye on our well-being. Very helpful. (Set up the Uber app because we've never used it before). And always up for a joke. I would also give the whole thing 10 stars, well deserved. I have no idea whether we will ever come back to Cologne. If so, we'll see each other again. :) Kind regards

I can thoroughly recommend the restaurant. Prices are local and reasonable. The food is really very good, tried pizza and pasta - delicious. Good wine list, very friendly service with a good mood. So always a good tip.

We had a very tasty evening with terrific truffle pizza and monkfish carpaccio as a starter 👌. What was particularly positive, however, was the super attentive and good-humoured service. Thanks for that! I'd love to come back.

Authentic cuisine, fresh products and good quality of the preparations are three characteristics that characterize il Tartufo for me. The carbonara was prepared with guanciale, which I also prefer to pancetta. All flavors were nicely balanced. The dishes had a certain freshness so that nothing came across as too heavy or overloaded. The wine list contains some interesting wines in various price ranges. The friendly service made it complete. A restaurant worth a detour.

Although the place was packed, they found a table for us with no reservation. Pizza here is very tasty, especially with pistachios, but the queen of the table for me was the pasta with carbonara. Totally recommend.

Great starter and fantastic dessert Yum

Food is okay - service is terrible, we have made reservations at the location for a wedding anniversary dinner*. We were initially seated at a table for 4, then after trade fair guests arrived, we were forced to sit at a 2-person table for 3 people. When we complained, we were given a larger table, but at the exit, where it was very cool, through the always open door. During the course of the meal the glass broke (almost full glass), the cola was served again but also repriced, which was outrageous at a price of €3.50 for 0.2l. Fine for a quick snack, if you want good service you should go somewhere else. Urgent advice against the shed... Update: This review does not apply to the service worker Baha, she was an extremely friendly and cooperative employee who handled the situation well. The negative review of the service is the responsibility of a male service worker whose name we do not know.

Fantastic Pizza Monte from the stone oven and really good pasta. The location is very comfortably furnished inside, but not so much at the front facing the street. The appetizer platter was ok, but didn't blow us away. There are significantly better comparable Italians. We found the price of the pasta with pistachio pesto and burrata to be too high at €21.90. These are also available cheaper from the competition, as are the desserts for €10-11. On the other hand, I thought the €18.90 for my pizza was fair, considering that it is also in the premium segment with truffles, burrata and pistachios. The only thing we found really bad was the service. Unfortunately the waiter was very disinterested and grumpy. He never asked if we wanted something more to drink, not even when we were sitting in front of 8 empty glasses. He also always seemed slightly annoyed and literally slammed the food on the table. It's a bit of a shame when you're there for a birthday dinner and then you're met with such a mood. There wasn't much going on, so it couldn't have been due to the stress. If the pizza hadn't been so tasty, I would have given it 3 stars overall.

Good Italian restaurant in the center, truffle pizza is highly recommended. Friendly service. However, the tiramisu was a bit disappointing and the coffee taste was a bit too intense.

The first time I was there I didn't go home satisfied. The service was quite superficial and not particularly helpful. Since I had only heard good things about the restaurant up to this point, I wanted to go there for dinner a second time. I was then completely satisfied and so were the others. I will definitely eat there regularly. Thank you for the good service and the very good food.

Very warm welcome, I forgot to mention that we had a baby, we were found a place with a smile. Smile present throughout the meal, very pleasant staff. We all eat very well, the products are fresh and excellent. Big downside for the bottle of water charged at €7.50!!! Delirium. We know we're not in France but still at this price it's nonsense. This explains the minus star on the service which was nevertheless excellent. For the atmosphere, the room is small but rather well decorated, like the terrace. The imitation chairs are passable and in the heat of late August not very pleasant.

Very suitable for business and private visits: basically delicious food, good ambience and nice service. I've been there several times in the evenings, now also at lunchtime during a break. It's a shame there's no lunch menu. Map is similar to the one from the evening. However, since the portions aren't particularly large, it's okay. The salads are tasty, but disappointingly small for just under 20 euros. In general, the pasta there is quite expensive, although it is certainly tastier than the average Italian restaurant. Bruschetta = tomato slice on bread. Not recommended.

We wanted to visit the restaurant because of the good reviews. When we got there, we actually wanted to turn back because it was right across from, let's say, adult entertainment. The restaurant can't help it, but for me it's not the nicest location. When we entered we found a small restaurant, the interior of which was quite okay. The waitress was above average friendly and warm. She offered us a few tables to choose from and we took the nicest one. Unfortunately, I found dust on the bottles on the table itself and elsewhere. I don't think that's nice at all. The toilet, however, was super clean! A huge plus point! The selection is okay and the prices are understandable. The truffle pasta was very tasty, but unfortunately almost cold when it arrived at the table. The pizza was pretty good so far. The zabaglione tasted very good, but could perhaps have been a little thicker. However, the biscuit on the side was extremely dry. I didn't like the tiramisu that much because it was very firm. Personally, I missed the creaminess. The taste was also not perfect for me. I had very little coffee taste and actually no amaretto taste at all. The coffee was excellent. Unfortunately, the chocolate served with the coffee was already completely gray and the sugar in the sugar packet apparently got wet because it was completely clumped together. So our experience was a bit mixed. I actually think four points are too many in criticism, but three are clearly too few. I would like a rating system that goes up to ten. Then I would have given this a seven.

The older waiter disrespected us with his exquisite humour. When we asked if they had free table for our group, the waiter responded with a racist undertone question if we were from United States of Africa instead of just simple reply “we are fully booked”. Despite good looking food we will never return to this place as long as the service is run by people with such rude behavior.

Absolutely unreasonable and disrespectful behaviour of the service - we went in to ask if there were any seats available and got met with rude comments with racial undertones about not making a reservation and having “bad humour” after not laughing at their “jokes”. The food looks nice, but this behaviour is just not ok. Hope you get fired lil dude :)

Everything was excellent! The service was great, the food was a 10/10 and the ambience was just beautiful. The truffle pasta really has it all. I can only recommend it to everyone :-)

We were in Cologne for a vacation. We had already asked where you could eat pizza. We then went to the il tartufo. The table wasn't clean. Service was very unfriendly when I asked a question about the food. We then got up again and ate a delicious pizza in the city center. Wouldn't recommend il tartufo

Delicious food with five star service

A restaurant where everything is wonderful from the moment you enter to the moment you leave. The food is sensational and professional and very friendly service (Ricardo deserves special mention here) rounds off the experience. I dare say it is one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. Great restaurant! I ate here together with my barrels. The wine was great! The service was excellent and the atmosphere was great. It was a bit warm in the room. Fortunately, a glass of water provided monstrous cooling. This place and the waiter are fantastic. All praise!

Having arrived later than expected and in a thunderstorm came across this place whilst walking to our hotel. Very friendly staff welcomed us in and we were shown to a lovely comfortable table. The restaurant was busy for a Tuesday. Extensive menu with specials as well. My daughter and I decided to share linguine with clams and a specials pizza or prawns and courgette. Both were delicious and great to see a good choice of wine available by the glass. Excellent Montepulciano. A lovely atmosphere.

I was there for the first time with my girlfriend at the weekend and we were thrilled! The food was delicious and the waitress was very attentive and friendly! The street was crowded that day but I think it's bearable & normal in good weather. We'll definitely come back again! :)

We discovered this restaurant through Google reviews and had an exceptional experience. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the pasta tartufo, which was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The staff was incredibly welcoming, and Ario, who served us, was outstanding—very friendly and clearly passionate about his work. Every detail was spot-on, making the entire experience perfect from start to finish. Highly recommended!

Very disappointed, no order was placed at all, and when the restaurant was half full, the waiter very rudely made it clear that if it got full, we would have to vacate the place. We went!

It was okay. Unfortunately we didn't find the pasta with truffles outstanding, the same applied to the starter: Vitello We also had a very uncomfortable seat, although most of the other tables didn't feel much more comfortable. The shop was very full and the reviews speak for this Italian, so unfortunately a lot was missing for him to become our “Italian of trust” or “favorite Italian”.

Super delicious food from starter (mixed starter plate!!!), to main course (black noodles with octopus) to dessert (classic tiramisu). As well as the wine: Sauvignon blanc. Super nice waitress. All around a great stay. Would love to come back.
