We wanted to visit the restaurant because of the good reviews. When we got there we actually wanted to turn back because it was right across from, let's say, adult entertainment. The restaurant can't help it, but for me it's not the nicest location. When we entered we found a small restaurant whose interior was quite okay. The waitress was above average friendly and warm. She offered us a few tables to choose from and we took the nicest one. Unfortunately, I found dust on the bottles on the table itself and elsewhere. I don't think that's nice at all. The toilet, however, was super clean! A huge plus point! The selection is okay and the prices are understandable. The truffle pasta was very tasty, but unfortunately almost cold when it arrived at the table. The pizza was pretty good so far. The zabaglione tasted very good, but could perhaps have been a little thicker. However, the biscuit that came with the side dish was extremely dried out. I didn't like the tiramisu that much because it was very firm. Personally, I missed the creaminess. The taste was also not perfect for me. I had very little coffee taste and actually no amaretto taste at all. The coffee was excellent. Unfortunately, the chocolate served with the coffee was already completely gray and the sugar in the sugar packet apparently got wet because it was completely clumped together. So our experience was a bit mixed. I actually think four points are too many criticisms, but three are clearly too few. I would like a rating system that goes up to ten. Then I would have given this a seven.

I've been there twice and it's always been delicious. The service is extremely friendly. The food was high quality and worth the slightly higher price. I can fully recommend this restaurant!

Absolutely unreasonable and disrespectful behaviour of the service - we went in to ask if there were any seats available and got met with rude comments with racial undertones about not making a reservation and having “bad humour” after not laughing at their “jokes”. The food looks nice, but this behaviour is just not ok. Hope you get fired lil dude :)

The older waiter disrespected us with his exquisite humour. When we asked if they had free table for our group, the waiter responded with a racist undertone question if we were from United States of Africa instead of just simple reply “we are fully booked”. Despite good looking food we will never return to this place as long as the service is run by people with such rude behavior.

The service is very warm welcoming and nice. The food is very delicious, pizza, pasta, and desert all are very good.

We were in Cologne for a vacation. We had already asked where you could eat pizza. We then went to the il tartufo. The table wasn't clean. Service was very unfriendly when I asked a question about the food. We then got up again and ate a delicious pizza in the city center. Wouldn't recommend il tartufo

Delicious food with five star service

I totally recommend this restaurant! For me it ticked all the boxes. Affordable prices, excellent food and excellent service!!! Staff were all friendly, attentive and genuinely smiley. Food came in 5 minutes after we ordered 4 different dishes. Pizza freshly made in the house. Delicious truffle pasta!

A restaurant where everything is wonderful from the moment you enter to the moment you leave. The food is sensational and professional and very friendly service (Ricardo deserves special mention here) rounds off the experience. I dare say it is one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. Great restaurant! I ate here together with my barrels. The wine was great! The service was excellent and the atmosphere was great. It was a bit warm in the room. Fortunately, a glass of water provided monstrous cooling. This place and the waiter are fantastic. All praise!

Having arrived later than expected and in a thunderstorm came across this place whilst walking to our hotel. Very friendly staff welcomed us in and we were shown to a lovely comfortable table. The restaurant was busy for a Tuesday. Extensive menu with specials as well. My daughter and I decided to share linguine with clams and a specials pizza or prawns and courgette. Both were delicious and great to see a good choice of wine available by the glass. Excellent Montepulciano. A lovely atmosphere.

I was there for the first time with my girlfriend at the weekend and we were thrilled! The food was delicious and the waitress was very attentive and friendly! The street was crowded that day but I think it's bearable & normal in good weather. We'll definitely come back again! :)

We discovered this restaurant through Google reviews and had an exceptional experience. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the pasta tartufo, which was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The staff was incredibly welcoming, and Ario, who served us, was outstanding—very friendly and clearly passionate about his work. Every detail was spot-on, making the entire experience perfect from start to finish. Highly recommended!

Very disappointed, no order was placed at all, and when the restaurant was half full, the waiter very rudely made it clear that if it got full, we would have to vacate the place. We went!

The first impression was very good. The service was quick and friendly. As the store filled up, it became a bit superficial and sloppy for the price range. The food was quite good but I have to say that it doesn't correspond to the price. Conclusion.....I would go back and give it a second chance.

It was okay. Unfortunately we didn't find the pasta with truffles outstanding, the same applied to the starter: Vitello We also had a very uncomfortable seat, although most of the other tables didn't feel much more comfortable. The shop was very full and the reviews speak for this Italian, so unfortunately a lot was missing for him to become our “Italian of trust” or “favorite Italian”.

Super delicious food from starter (mixed starter plate!!!), to main course (black noodles with octopus) to dessert (classic tiramisu). As well as the wine: Sauvignon blanc. Super nice waitress. All around a great stay. Would love to come back.

Average to boring food. Way too warm in the restaurant. Very hectic, crowded, loud and uncomfortable. Service quite cool.

I used to say that my mother made the best carbonara, but I have changed my mind: THIS place makes the best carbonara (sorry, mum!)

The two of us ate there. We spontaneously made a reservation by phone 15 minutes in advance. Everything worked out great. The inside of the place is totally cute and funny. Tables lovingly set. Toilets super clean. Service was really nice and, above all, quick. Food came super quickly and it was divine. 10000% recommendation!!!!

My husband and I went out to eat today, the service was very nice and quick, the food was top👍😊. No long waiting times. We had bruschetta as a starter (the starter was a delicious bread with dip), then the main course was pasta with salmon and 4-cheese pizza, really tasty and you'll be full. Highly recommended👍☺️

The Super Kellner - works here … We booked a table based on reviews and because we were staying around the corner . A quiet birthday evening for our mum who is a picky eater - and sometimes hard to please . The reviews are spot on . The food was absolutely amazing. The service was great , very friendly waiter , who had a lot of time and patience with our mum … and even sang happy birthday with a massive peace of tiramisu. Would go back to Koln again just to eat here !

Attentive service, great food (also check out the current daily menu!) - from the 1st to the 3rd course, the ambience inside is much nicer than the entrance suggests, it's best to sit in the back of the restaurant or on the courtyard terrace. Great! The food is very good, but my personal highlight is the many, really well put together natural wines. Also positive, you can make binding appointments via email, which is not always a given. The prices are good and you get good quality. In any case, we had a very great evening there.

We went there to eat because of the good reviews. Unfortunately, we personally didn't think the food was very good, so we left quite full plates. Apart from that, we were served by a waiter who indirectly gave the impression that he was annoyed by you or seemed to be unfamiliar with your smile. Result: once and never again. Unfortunately, the hype is incomprehensible.

Very good Italian restaurant with great service. Unfortunately, it was very loud in the crowded interior, making it difficult to have a normal conversation even at a table for two. This resulted in approx 2 hours to no feel-good atmosphere at dinner. The quality of the food and drinks was very good, but the overall volume was just too high for normal conversation.

Beautiful restaurant, service was super attentive and really nice. The pasta was amazing. Rarely have I eaten such good Italian food. Definitely worth a visit! Linguine with truffles is recommended!

The Italian food is authentic and delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone, it was very full and there was a long queue outside but its definitely worth. The price is also very good and the meals are very filling. Our waiter (i dont remember name but he was in his 30s and black hair) was very kind, attentive and helpful. My pistachio and burrata special pasta was very delicious. Next time im in cologne i will be there. We sat at the back of the restaurant and it was VERY warm but that didnt stop our delicious meal.

As an Italian I can say that in very few places you can eat REAL Italian cuisine so well. Delicious food and very kind and friendly staff! We are happy to drive 40 minutes to eat here!

Price-performance ratio is not right. Way too expensive for no good special food. The steak (€38.50) was ordered rare and came through. Sauce too salty. Unfortunately, the vegetable side dish is nothing special. After our criticism, the waiter told us that they specialized in pizza/pasta. Let's see if he's right

Best Italian dishes I’ve ever tried in my life! We have ordered the calamari appetizer, the carbonara pasta and the pasta tartuffo. We had a lovely and memorable food experience.

Service was really good, the atmosphere is really cosy, unfortunately for me the pizza was absolutely nothing special, as an Italian I would rather go somewhere else.
