Small Italian family-run business... not just recommended for pizza and pasta. I love Luciano's Cozze alla Marinara. If the outdoor seating is busy in the summer, there can be longer waiting times.

The only pizza with salami was the Salami pizza, but no option to combine salami with other toppings. We had to wait quite a bit to get our orders taken. The taste was okay, but nothing extraordinary for me.

The restaurant is very cozy, with subtle music playing. In this pleasant atmosphere, delicious food is served by very pleasant, friendly, and attentive staff. Il Padrino is a wonderful restaurant. Fantastico🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏😭❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️We will definitely be back....Wonderful!!!!

A true piece of Italy in the heart of Munich! Il Padrino impresses with excellent cuisine, warm service, and an ambiance that is both elegant and cozy. The pasta and fresh fish dishes are particularly recommended – you can tell the passion is put into the cooking here. A place you'll gladly return to – whether for a relaxed dinner or for special occasions.

We went there twice and tried a variety of dishes and wines – everything was excellent. The service was extremely attentive, and the ambiance was typically Italian.

Long wait. Poor quality meat and incorrectly cooked. After complaining, I received a good piece of fillet. Service was unfriendly and hectic.

Everything was great! My family was recommended this place by a friend and it did not disappoint! From the moment you got there, the atmosphere felt comfortable and inviting. Everything tasted great and our server, Alessandro, was the best! This will be the place I eat at first when I come back to Munich!

Delivery via Lieferando: The salad was rotten (see photo) and WITHOUT DRESSING (wtf?). The lasagna was microwaved – which you can always tell by the melted cheese with no trace of crust or browning. The pizza was OK, even though it arrived ice cold (we only live a 5-minute bike ride away), but the rest was simply a disgrace.

The pizza was good! I was especially impressed by the dough—wonderfully flavorful and not at all dry. The price was absolutely fair, too.

We had to wait a very long time between our appetizer and main course. The pasta wasn't good; it had no flavor. The pizza, however, was good. When we paid, the waiter asked for an additional 10% of the total price for service. When we didn't agree, the waiter became very rude. It's a shame, because the service was terrible, so we certainly didn't deserve any extra, and it's also the only restaurant in Munich that charges this. We'll never be back.

Wir waren eine Gruppe von 10 Personen und es hat alles bestens geklappt. Bedienung und Essen waren ausgezeichnet. Portionen sind eher gross.

I'd give more stars if possible; the service is excellent. The food is amazing, and Roberto and the entire crew are amazing! Highly recommend Ill Padrino Spritz! Every visit is a mini-vacation.

Ich war gestern in diesem Restaurant und habe dort ein Getränk bestellt. Leider musste ich beim genaueren Hinsehen feststellen, dass das Haltbarkeitsdatum des Getränks bereits am 25.08.2022 abgelaufen war – das ist mehr als zwei Jahre her! So etwas darf in einem seriösen Gastronomiebetrieb nicht passieren. Das wirft nicht nur Fragen zur Hygiene auf, sondern auch zur allgemeinen Sorgfalt im Umgang mit Lebensmitteln. Ich habe das Personal darauf hingewiesen, aber leider kam keine ernsthafte Entschuldigung oder Erklärung. Sehr enttäuschend – ich hoffe, das wird künftig besser kontrolliert. Essen war in Ordnung.

Quiet location. Easy to reach. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. We were a group of 12 people, so the kitchen was already in demand. But everything was super fresh and delicious.

Great welcome, the room is very warm, the staff very welcoming and smiling. We went there for lunch at the weekend and everyone really enjoyed it. Very tasty food, attractive wine selection and very attentive, friendly service. The ambience is also very pleasant. We felt so comfortable that we would like to come back.

Ausgezeichnetes Essen! Vorspeise, Hauptgericht und Nachspeise 1 A. Geschmacklich kann es nicht besser sein! Aber besonders möchte ich den Service hervorheben: Ein netter, umgänglicher und sehr sehr freundlicher Ober (Roberto), der uns den ganzen Abend fürsorglich betreute und uns den Abend zu einem Highlight werden ließ!! Danke dafür!!

A nice place to linger, unfortunately the taste of the food always falls short of high expectations. I've been here 3 times and ordered pizza and pasta. If ingredients are missing, they are replaced with others that are not on the menu without it being mentioned. My carbonara was simply a dry mountain of spaghetti. The waiters are trying to be friendly but everything seems a bit complicated and the Italian language compliments the ambience but the language barrier makes it impossible to ask questions about the food. The result: you eat your mediocre food in silence and probably won't come back in the future.

Yesterday evening I went to dinner there with my dog ​​Edgar, I just managed to get a seat. Very good pizza, Aperol Spritz as it should be, unique I think the boss served me, 🙏👍thanks for the water for my dog, I'll definitely come back ✌🏽

My favorite Cannelloni in Munich! We've been visiting this establishment for several years now, and the quality of the entrees along with the friendly staff make it one of our favorite restaurants in the city.

Had dinner there last Sunday on a recommendation (4 people). The pasta was very good, the pizzas ok. The service, however, was really bad. Although all the menus were closed, there was no service for a long time. The food came quite quickly. No one asked for more drinks during the entire visit. Also no demand for desserts. We were ignored and the waitress was busy with Tinder on her phone. After we asked for payment, the waiter wordlessly placed the piece of paper with everything we had ordered on the table and turned around. We wanted to pay separately. 2 people had provided the cash after we had to split the bill ourselves. When the other two wanted to pay by card, the extremely unfriendly answer was "either all cash or all card". Waiter entered the total amount and turned away to speak to the colleague. Despite all the tips, he didn't respond to the tip and so only the bill amount was paid. As a result, people continued to gossip about us in Italian and we were no longer looked at. Definitely not recommended. Note: Guests sometimes also understand Italian, so gossiping within earshot is not recommended 😉

Not recommendable! There were two of us for dinner. The first and only guests in the restaurant. We ordered fresh mussels in white wine sauce, unfortunately the portions were half as big as last time, the sauce was too salty, instead of bread as usual, we got pizza bread. I had to complain about the white wine because there was cork in the glass. When cleaning up the plates, the waiter didn't even ask if it was tasty. After we said that the sauce was too salty, he just responded with an "ahso" and didn't even apologize, let alone make it up to us. An interim bill was brought when paying. When asked for a proper bill, there was a cheeky answer: "You'll get it anyway!" Bad service, not good food, not good value for money! Not recommendable!

Nice restaurant, service could sometimes be a bit friendlier and have a bit of Italian charm. The food is good but not exceptional. Since the restaurant is rather small (and cozy), be sure to make a reservation!

Ten of us celebrated New Year's Eve there and had a 5-course meal there. The food was super delicious, at 12 p.m. we got to see a “personal” fireworks display and ended up celebrating there until 4:30 a.m. - with the best atmosphere and music! Thank you for the great evening there!

Einfach großartig und extrem lecker. Egal was man bestellt. Meine Empfehlung, Vitello Tonato, Pasta Genovese und Tiramisu. Dazu ein schneller und freundlicher Service und super faire Preise. Zum Glück noch nicht überlaufen vom Schicki Micki Publikum aus dem 100 m entfernten Paros. Immer wieder gern. Momentan mein Nummer Eins Italiener in München und ich kenne wirklich viele.

Nach einem Aperitif, einen Tunfisch Carpaccio kamen die Hauptgerichte. Ein Orecchiette Lammragu, das herrlich abgeschmeckt war. Ich bekam Tagliolint Tartufo. Das war geschmacklich auch gut. Die Nudeln schwammen in flüssiger Butter, was mir persönlich zu viel war, und es war noch ordentlich Trüffelöl dabei. Getränkeauswahl war ebenfalls gut. Schönes Ambiente, kleine, gemütliches Lokal.

Ober hochnäsig, Essen mäßig. Antipasti-Auberginen bitter, ansonsten ok. Calamari fritti geschmacksneutral und zäh, lieblos angerichtet auf ein paar Brocken Gemüse. Dessert ok (Tiramisu).

Es war wirklich sehr lecker! Preis für München ist auch noch ok. Die Qualität und Geschmack überzeugen!

Leider sind wir total enttäuscht. Wie haben den schlechtesten Tisch bekommen, obwohl das Lokal leer war und nicht ausreserviert. Wir hatten zweimal kein Besteck weder zur Vorspeise noch zur Hauptspeise. Auf eine Pizza hat die Salami gefehlt und wurde dann roh nachgeliefert, leider roh ungenießbar. Wir haben nach dem Chef gefragt, es kam ein Vertreter. Wir haben gefragt ob er Feedback möchte, nach zwei Sätzen hat er das Gespräch abgebrochen. Wirklich schade, weil unser letzter Besuch viel schöner war. Diesmal wurden nur Stammgäste gut bedient, wir waren nur Gäste zweiter Klasse, obwohl wir Nachbarn sind. Das war unser letzter Besuch....

Mit großer Erwartung kamen wir ins Lokal. Leider hatten wir mit dem Essen kein Glück. Das Risotto pescatore war ein total verkochter Reis mit leider geschmacklosen Meeresfrüchten. Hab’s auch beim abservieren gesagt, weil der Teller noch fast voll zurückging. Keine Reaktion.. Schade ☹️ Die Pizza mit Meeresfrüchte sah toll aus, war aber leider sehr fade im Geschmack. Der Wein und der Espresso waren gut. Vielleicht hatten wir einfach Pech. Alles andere können wir nicht beurteilen.

Freundlicher Empfang in einem kleinen und wirklich hübsch eingerichteten Restaurant, wo anscheinend Mario Adorf schon gespeist hat. Preis-Leistung für Münchener Verhältnisse ist absolut klasse.

OK, nicht jeder Kellner im IlPadrino versprüht im Stress nur pure Freude. Aber dafür wird man mit einer sehr guten Qualität der Speisen belohnt. Es gibt neben den guten Standard Gerichten auch immer eine kleine Tageskarte. Alles wird liebevoll angerichtet und geht auch Recht flott, selbst wenn der Laden oder draußen bis auf den letzten Platz belegt ist. Wer auf Pizza steht bekommt einen echt guten, knusprigen Teig und auch der Belag ist gut. Ich stehe mehr auf Nudelgerichte und da finde ich immer etwas leckeres. Die Preise sind für mich in Ordnung. Es wird nichts verschenkt, aber für Münchner Stadtpreise ist es gut im Rahmen bei Preis und Leistung. Ich gehe ungefähr seit 10 oder 15 Jahren immer wieder mal ins IlPadrino und hatte noch nie einen Grund zum klagen oder wurde enttäuscht.

Pizza knusprig ,lecker der Ober ist nett aber manchmal etwas verplant

Während Italien Pizza Week in München besucht. Die Aktion beinhaltete eine Pizza + Aperol Spritz für 15 Eur. Es gab zwei Pizzen zur Auswahl in der Aktion, beide Varianten ausprobiert und beide haben gut geschmeckt. Die Bedienung war auch sehr nett.

Authentischer geht's nicht! Wir essen hier seit über 20 Jahren unsere Pizza und seitdem habe ich auch bisher kein vergleichbares Restaurant in München gesehen. Hier ist noch Italien, hier ist alles echt, hier wird mit guten Zutaten gearbeitet und hier steckt viel Liebe im Detail. Gehen wir mal alles Punkt für Punkt durch: Essen: 10/10 Ambiente: 10/10 Service: 10/10 Frische Zutaten: 10/10 Weinauswahl: 10/10 Dessert Auswahl: 10/10 Plätze im Freien: 10/10 (hier gibts echt viele tolle Sitzmöglichkeiten + die Sonne strahlt den Außenbereich toll an!) Sauberkeit: 10/10 Kaffee / Espresso Geschmack: 10/10 Authentizität: 10/10 Aufmerksamkeit seitens Service: 10/10 Kartenzahlung: ✓ Parkplätze: Man findet im Umkreis schnell einen Parkplatz! Reservierung: ✓ Il Padrino gibt's seit 1991, also über 30 Jahre und seit über 25 Jahren essen wir hier unsere Pizza (meistens Margherita und Thunfisch Al Capone, aber alle anderen sind auch sehr zu empfehlen). Viele Restaurants sind in der Zeit schon von der Bildfläche verschwunden, aber nicht der unique Laden von Luciano! Wie gesagt, die Qualität hält seit 30 Jahren stand und ich kann seit über 20 Jahren mitreden :) Ich hoffe, ich kann hier auch noch in den nächsten 30 Jahren essen! Hier kann man es sich wirklich gut gehen lassen und tolle Erinnerungen schaffen! DANKE!

Neulich nahm ich die exquisiten Trüffelnudeln des 'Padrino' zu mir. Das Padrino verströmt eine elegante familiäre Atmosphäre, in der man in bester Gesellschaft, oder alleine die Sonnenseite des Lebens genießen kann. Kinder sind hier sehr willkommen, sie erfüllen das Restaurant mit sehr viel Freude und Lebendigkeit. Sehr leckere und schön angerichtete Gerichte!

Ich weiss ja nicht wer die offizielle Top Italinischen Restaurants in München bewertet, aber der/die Jenigen haben garantiert noch nie was von Il Padrino gehört. Sonst wäre es ganz oben mit dabei. Meine persönliche Nummer eins.

Wir schätzen das Lokal seit langem, die freundliche, lockere Atmospshäre. Die Küche ist weiterhin gut, aber die Preise sind im Verhältnis zu den Gerichten zu hoch bzw. die Gerichte zu klein. Die Dorade bestand aus zwei sehr kleinen Filets mit minimalen Gemüsezutaten. Das geht nun wirklich nicht und wir werden vorläufig nicht wieder kommen, trotz der guten Qualität der Pizza. Schade. Gäste können auch rechnen und einschätzen, ob das Verhältnis stimmt.

Die Muscheln in Hummerschaumsauce waren klasse👍. Unbedingt Plätze reservieren, sehr gute Küche zu akzeptablen Preisen...

Sehr sehr lecker! Man sitzt wirklich gemütlich!

Ich war schon einige mal dort, gerade im Sommer mit Aussenbereich eher Unscheinbar, was sich dort in deren Küche abspielt. Das Essen ist super, egal ob Pasta, Pizza, Salate oder die üppigen Nachspeisen, man kann bedenkenlos alles auf der Karte bestellen und noch wichtiger genießen. Der Service war in Ordnung, ich hätte mir gewünscht das der Kellner noch das ein oder andere nachfragt ob alles schmeckt und fein ist, aber das ist jetzt jammern auf hohem Niveau. Das Ambiente ist im Inneren Klassisch, leider ist der Biergarten ein kleines Sammelsurium an Tischen, das könnte man durchaus mit Pflanzen und einem Stil aufwerten. Dennoch, wenn man zurück zum Ursprung geht, dann klar 5 Sterne und ein absoluter Tipp. Vielen Dank, bis bestimmt ganz bald

Beste Pizza Verdura, die ich bisher hatte. Boden komplett knusprig, sehr viel Gemüse als Belag und toller Geschmack. Spaghetti Genovese mit frischem und leckerem Pesto. Empfehlenswert!

Auf unserer kleinen Sightseeingtour durch München sollte auch einen Abend Italienisch auf der Karte stehen. Aufgrund der vielen positiven Bewertungen kehrten wir dann um kurz vor 17:30 vor der Lokalität ein. Erster Berührungspunkt war einer der Angestellten mit dem Satz: „Wir haben noch nicht geöffnet, aber in zwei Minuten!“ Gut dann warteten wir die anderthalb Minuten noch im stehen bevor wir uns nach Aufforderung eines anderen Kellners setzen durften. Die Karte ist solide und bietet eine ordentliche Auswahl. Das Vitello als Vorspeise war gut, wenn auch überschaubar. Unsere Nudeln waren sehr flott am Tisch und schmeckten ebenfalls gut, allerdings lässt sich auch hier an den Portionen die Menge verbessern. Leider wurde kein Brot dazu gereicht und zur Nachfrage kam leider auch niemand zurück an den Tisch. Alles in allem ein solider Italiener mit ein paar Startschwierigkeiten und kleineren Portionen. Wer es ausprobieren möchte sollte ruhig einen Versuch wagen.
