Ristorante e Pizzeria "Da Nicola" in Frankfurt am Main

Ordered food from Lieferando, driver couldn't find the address (Frankfurt University Hospital). I spent 45 minutes discussing it with the driver. In the end, no food arrived, no service from the restaurant, and no refund.

We are members of Safo Tennis Club and have now given the restaurant several chances. Unfortunately, the experience has consistently been disappointing. This is already the third time we visited, and twice we faced serious issues with service quality and attitude. Most recently, we waited at a table for 20 minutes without any communication, only to be told afterwards that the kitchen was closed and only drinks were available. This could – and should – have been communicated immediately. To make matters worse, other tables who arrived after us were served, which left us feeling ignored and unwelcome. The main problem is not only inefficiency but also the attitude: unfriendly, dismissive, and highly unprofessional. It is often unclear whether the restaurant is open, closed, or willing to serve customers at all. This creates an atmosphere that is the exact opposite of what one expects in a tennis club of this standard. Safo Tennis Club deserves a restaurant that reflects professionalism, hospitality, and quality. Sadly, this establishment does not meet even the basic expectations of courtesy or service in our experience.

We had a few Aperols there after playing tennis. Unfortunately, the service was incredibly unfriendly!

Have been there several times now and have never been disappointed. We'd love to come back

The restaurant is close to the SAFO tennis court and I had dinner here. Food is fine and atmospheric is better than expected when you just look it from outside.

Highly recommended. The ambiance, service, food, and reasonable prices are top-notch! During construction, parking is limited. It's best to park on Richard-Strauss-Allee.

We went there for pizza because the restaurant was ranked among the top 10 best pizzas in town by the Journal Frankfurt. Unfortunately, we didn't quite understand the ranking. The owner, who also served that evening, was very friendly and attentive, the food arrived very quickly, and special requests were no problem. Unfortunately, the pizza was average at best, rather dry. We can't comment on the pasta. Unfortunately, there was only one vegetarian appetizer.

The waiter was very rude and always wanted to sell us more food than we wanted. The food felt like it had no seasoning at all and the prices were way too expensive!! NEVER AGAIN!!!

ATTENTION, tripping hazard due to the small step directly behind the entrance door and the absolutely unfriendly, uncouth and impatient host!!! Were invited to a birthday party, the hostess fell over a small step and broke her arm. I almost tripped myself, the “Caution Step” sign is much too small (the “Pull” sign is significantly larger). The innkeeper just coldly shrugged his shoulders and said, “Fate.” Otherwise you didn't have the feeling of being welcome. When ordering food, the landlord was totally impatient and unfriendly. (The two employees were friendly though). What was ordered wasn't always brought and espresso etc. came without sugar, salad without bread. The food tasted good but everything else didn't work at all. NEVER AGAIN!!!

Inconspicuous, but really good!

There was buffet: Starters were unimaginative, very disappointing by Italian standards, main courses were good, I would have expected more Mediterranean, Norwegian farmed salmon with a light mustard sauce, beef tasteless, lasagna too runny and too much cheese, vegetables half raw without any pizzazz, tiramisu was standing next to the warming plates the whole time and looked the same after an hour, but could have been put up later Service was okay

We often eat there and every time it is delicious. The food is freshly prepared and therefore special requests are usually not a problem. We would be happy to recommend the restaurant right next to the tennis court.

Pizza, pasta, salads are all delicious! Restaurant with its own charm and I think the wine selection is quite impressive.

Dieses Restaurant serviert sehr gute Burger und auch mein Salat war sehr frisch und lecker. Sehr netter und zuvorkommender Service. Die Bestuhlung draußen ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

Super leckeres Essen!!! Traditionelle eritreische Küche. Haben eine gemischte Platte mit verschiedenen Spezialitäten. Schönes Ambiente und sehr netter Service!! Preis- Leistung ist sehr gut. Wirklich weiterzuempfehlen!!
