Super delicious food and super nice staff, it was a great evening, thank you 🫶🏼

The pizza was tasty, as was the salmon pasta and pizza bread with garlic sauce. Big misses were the mozzarella with tomato and tiramisu. Tasteless. The tiramisu in a glass in particular is a disappointment. Burying a bite of really tasteless tiramisu under a glass of whipped cream for €7.60 is rude. Very unfortunate. The service is friendly and fast, the main courses are excellent and the restaurant looks good. So if some attention were paid to these simple dishes, the score would be a lot higher.

We were very satisfied, great service, good food and a very nice atmosphere. Thanks to the team for a successful gastronomic experience. Gladly again.

We had lunch, tagliatelle with salmon, with soup or salad for lunch. The salmon was on point and the salad was lush. All you can do is give it all thumbs up. We would be happy to come back.

Rarely give 5 stars, have happened to find the restaurant. We felt very comfortable. Food was excellent. Will come again.

We ate at this Italian restaurant, we didn't have a reservation and although the place was very busy the chef had us set up a very welcoming space in a few minutes we ate appetizers and two mixed fish dishes a pizza and a steak and any dish that pleased us was served with the mind sent us to Italy very polite and friendly service the best restaurant in Nordhorn highly recommended we will definitely come back

Wow! Everything is right here - top marks! Very courteous and friendly service. I had the fish platter for €33. Not particularly cheap - I thought, but took it anyway. I was royally rewarded for this. This variety of grilled seafood and fish is absolutely worth the price. 2 large prawns, mussels, pulp, salmon fillet, zander and another white-fleshed fish (perch?). It's been a long time since I've had fish as good as on this plate! I don't normally eat mussels, but these were delicious! The salmon was on point and still slightly translucent on the inside, so perfectly cooked. The prawns were also really good. Cross grilled and with garlic - delicious! The squid was grilled very tenderly - you often chew it like rubber - perfectly done here! Really well seasoned with garlic and sea salt on everything and grilled cross! The accompanying spaghetti aglio e olio is also al dente and very tasty. The salad was also good, no yoghurt/oil-aceto-balsamic dressing, but handmade Caesar-style dressing. Unconditional recommendation. I also heard great praise from the neighboring tables.

We had not made a reservation and it was very busy, but we were allowed to sit at the bar and a table became available a little later. Fortunately, because we haven't had such delicious Italian food in a long time. Delicious. Staff also very friendly. It is that it is a 3-hour drive from home, but otherwise... Definitely worth it. We often go to Portofino, it tastes great and the service team is friendly. The Ristorante da Portofino is one of my recommendations in Nordhorn.

It was really a wonderful evening... a more than excellent meal. Excellent. If going out to eat can still surprise you... wonderful. Operation and service are also great. That's how eating out works and that's how it's fun. We'd love to come back.

Very nice atmosphere, nice staff and delicious food. We were in Nordhorn with friends for a few days and after eating there on the first evening we reserved a table for the next evening. Pasta and meat dishes are highly recommended

Fortunately, we were able to eat with 2 people today without a reservation. We were lucky because everything was full. The chicken with gorgonzola sauce and penne was really excellent! What a delicious meal this was! I thought the pasta with chicken in tomato sauce was a little less special. Tiramisu afterwards was also tasty. The atmosphere is super cozy, the prices are accessible and the service is also very nice. One downside: I thought it was a shame that dogs were allowed inside. Coincidentally, we were sitting in a place where 3 tables around us all had brought a dog. I like to come to a restaurant to eat quietly, but I don't like that the food was being looked at from my plate by the animals and that a dog was constantly walking to our table, sniffing. (the dogs can't do anything about it, the owners can, with a little decency you don't take a pet into a restaurant.) In any case, we will hopefully come back again when we are in Nordhorn. We also want to try the mittagstisch. Thank you dear people!

A really attractive restaurant with friendly service. I would have even given the great starters 5 stars, but the main courses were only averagely good and were unfortunately served (4 adults and 4 children) with a significant delay. Therefore only 4 stars for the otherwise very friendly service... Still a clear recommendation!

Very diverse selection of food and drinks. The atmosphere is very nice and rustic with lots of wooden elements. The employees are friendly. The order was delivered after a short time. The dishes are beautifully presented and taste delicious. I can absolutely recommend it.

Even though we had not made a reservation, we were still able to get a table. Drinks were taken almost immediately. However, it took at least 30 minutes (probably because it was very busy). Before the waiter realized that we wanted to order our food. But okey the food made up for it. We didn't want fried potatoes but pasta, this was no problem. A delicious tender steak with champions sauce. And my table companion large prawns. Both very good and very large portions. Friendly service and a beautiful restaurant.

Service was extremely overwhelmed; it took more than 30 minutes just to be able to order the food. It took another 45 minutes for the food to be served, but one meal was forgotten. This may be because the operator is interested in handling maximum numbers of guests with minimal staffing levels and customer loyalty is not a factor.

A good Italian restaurant, friendly staff and very good dishes. The salsa is recommended as a starter. But everything the memory card produces is recommended. But too much to test in one visit. The best thing is to try it out in several visits 🥲. The prices are reasonable. For me the best Italian restaurant in Nordhorn and is worth a visit.

wir hatten für neun Personen reserviert. uns wurde von den Mitarbeitern ein Tisch zugewiesen. kaum saßen wir, hieß es, wir müssten den Tisch wieder verlassen. es wäre ein Irrtum. Unser Tisch sei im Obergeschoss. Angeblich wäre oben ein großer langer Tisch. Unten waren es zwei zusammengeschobene. Die würden für zwei Reservierungen benötigt. Oben angekommen, zeigte es sich, dass es nicht stimmte. Auch hier zwei Tisch, die zusammengeschoben wurden. Vielleicht mussten wir unten Platz machen für Freunde oder … Das Essen war von mäßig bis durchschnittlich.

We had a reservation for 9 people and had already been seated at the table that had been assigned to us. We were then "relocated" to the upper floor in a really rude manner with stupid excuses because other people should definitely have our table. Impossible!!! And never go to this store again!

Unfortunately there were a lot of bones in my fish pizza.

Tasty pizzas, the toilets were clean and the service (staff) was friendly, only the Pepsi €5.20 and the menu said €3.50. We were not allowed to sit inside, while other people were allowed to and the restaurant was far from full.

We had the pleasure of eating here yesterday. The service was good and the food was great too! Personally I had the Minestrone soup, the Pizza Bella and some Bruschetta. All of them tasted good and fresh. Would reccomend!

The service was unsatisfactory, and the waitress seemed unable to handle stress well. Communication was somewhat blunt. Additionally, the food was overly salty; I had to drink a lot of tea and water at home to compensate.

Lots of delicious Italian dishes at affordable prices. Good and friendly service in a chic atmosphere round off the experience.

We are very disappointed We ordered various grilled plates, from my companion it was warm & totally fine, my food arrived cold, the meat was tough & raw that you couldn't eat, as if it came from the freezer... the antipasti weren't a hit either. . Wine was good, staff was also attentive & friendly

I was there today for lunch with my son (6 years old). Unfortunately, the restaurant doesn't seem to be interested in young guests. The wish for a “still apple spritzer” could not be fulfilled. The obviously annoyed waitress explained that there was only apple spritzer with sparkling water or apple juice and that you could order water with it. The wish to simply pour a shot of tap water into the apple juice could not be fulfilled because tap water would not be offered. The fact that there were no fries in the Italian restaurant is still understandable, but the fact that there was NO children's menu or accommodation was sad. Alternative fries in chip form were offered. But only without everything. There was no mayo or ketchup. The small pizza Margherita that we then ordered was brought without salad or soup and instead with a mountain of oregano, which my son unfortunately didn't like, but was still charged at 12 euros as a lunch menu. Quite surprising...

Ich war heute Mittag zum Mittagstisch mit meinem Sohn dort (6 Jahre alt). Leider scheint das Restaurant kein Interesse an jungen Gästen zu haben. Der Wunsch einer "stillen Apfelschorle" konnte nicht erfüllt werden. Die offensichtlich genervte Bedienung erklärte, es gäbe nur Apfelschorle mit Sprudel oder eben Apfelsaft und man könne dazu ein Wasser bestellen. Der Wunsch einfach einen Schuss Leitungswasser in den Apfelsaft zu kippen, konnte nicht erfüllt werden, da Leitungswasser nicht angeboten werden würde. Das es keine Pommes gab im ital. Restaurant ist noch nachvollziehbar, aber das es KEINERLEI Kindermenü oder Entgegenkommen gab, war schon traurig. Es wurden alternative Pommes in Chipsform angeboten. Allerdings nur ohne Alles. Mayo oder Ketchup gab es nicht dazu. Die kleine Pizza Margherita, die wir dann bestellt haben, wurde zwar ohne Salat oder Suppe gebracht und dafür mit einem Berg Oregano, den mein Sohn leider nicht mochte, aber dafür dennoch mit 12 Euro als Mittagsmenü abgerechnet. Schon verwunderlich....

Everything is just right here. The service in particular is TOP!!! I really like going here at lunchtime because it's always quick and is particularly suitable for the lunch break. big compliments to the entire team! :)

Spaghetti Carbonara without ham, so ordered vegetarian. Comes then without further feedback with extra ham. Politely asked if we could have it without ham, the plate was then taken to the kitchen and returned after three minutes with curdled sauce. When we asked, we were told that it wasn't ham in the sauce, but bacon. I had "3 types of pasta in Bolognese, gratinated with cheese". When I pulled out two strips of ham I asked how that came about and was told that lasagna had been added to my meal. Astonishing.

The service was very good, pizza was okay but not particularly good.

Das Portofino hatte mal einen tollen Mittagstisch zu fairen Preisen. Jetzt gibt es nur noch eine abgespeckte Karte mittags, die Menge ist gering und die Qualität nur passabel. Dafür sind die Preise gestiegen und inzwischen zu teuer. Schade.

We ate here again today. Although reservations are normally strongly recommended, we spontaneously got a table. We were there with a stroller, so we were offered a table in the corner to park the stroller there. After a more suitable space became available, we were immediately asked if we would like to change because there would be more space with a stroller. We were very happy to accept this offer. Unfortunately, our son was a bit whiny, spit and screamed from time to time, but the staff was super relaxed and the unpleasant situation was eased for us. Even when we asked if our food could be packed, we were told that the food was too good to be packed - we should just eat. Even when my wife was breastfeeding, there was very respectful interaction. But now to the important thing, the food. My wife had the steak with fresh mushrooms. The meat was on point, just great. I had taken the daily recommendation - grilled salmon with sesame, on a bed of spinach with tortellini in tomato sauce. Simply insane. Even my wife, who doesn't normally like fish, was thrilled. The portion was also more than good. We would be happy to come back at any time.

Great, nice, friendly service! We ordered "mixed starters" and received a fantastic selection on a large platter - very tasty, just like the main courses. Prices are ok.

The Portofino has improved significantly since our last visit. This time it wasn't supposed to be a pizza with fresh ingredients: the involtini filled with dates, delicious tarragon sauce with spaghetti aglio e olio were perfect, a delight! And the veal schnitzel with mushrooms no less! Plus a perfect house wine and friendly service. It was a very pleasant little dinner for two.

As usual, we couldn't complain. Great atmosphere and, according to my son, the best pizza in the world.

We ate very well, everyone at our table had something different and everything was great. Whether it's the pizza, the pasta with chicken breast or the meat rolls filled with dates. Everything was well seasoned and good portions, no one left the restaurant hungry. The prices are ok too. The service was quite good at the beginning, but no one showed up after the meal. We would have liked to have another drink and we paid at the counter because at some point we didn't feel like waiting anymore... But all in all it was a worthwhile visit.

We were there on Thursday around 6 p.m. Without pre-order. A table for two people was no problem. It would have been nice if the espresso cup had been a little warm, but it got cold relatively quickly. The teramisou wasn't that great either. Otherwise the food was great.👍

Top restaurant, keurige bediening. Vlot en vriendelijk. We waren op een woensdag avond. Het was er gezellig druk. Ze hadden goed overzicht. Het eten smaakte heerlijk en de prijs was aangenaam 👌🏻. Zeker een aanrader, en wij gaan nog wel een keer.

Das Essen war sehr lecker, es war nur sehr viel los und wir hatten ein Tisch für 6 Personen bestellt und die hatten nur ein für 5 Personen, da wurde dann ein Stuhl ran geschoben, war sehr eng. Was ich aber ganz schlimm finde ist das sie nur oben Toiletten haben und kein Fahrstuhl! Für Menschen mit Einschränkungen oder Ältere Menschen ist es nicht möglich dorthin zu kommen. Es gab keine Behindertentoilette und das im Jahr 2023.
