Very small but very nice local restaurant. Great food and drinks. Small changing menu. Very friendly staff.

Hello from Emsland, we spent 3 weeks in Italy this year and felt like we were in deepest Italy. Also regional specialties from central Italy. We were thrilled. Greetings Pamela and Uwe

I was there with a few colleagues for the first time during the week and can't recommend the restaurant at all. It took a whole 45 minutes until the order was finally taken and another 45 minutes until we got food and drinks. In addition, two of us also received the wrong dish. The waiter didn't show his face and the boss was always at the table next door chatting with the guests. We got dessert 3 hours after entering the restaurant. I've never experienced anything like that.

A special Italian regionality that was not expected in Nordhorn. The homemade specialties are served in a pleasant atmosphere. The Ardoise is small but promising. The antipasti with a variety of flavors really meet these expectations brilliantly, as does the house wine. Unfortunately, Saltimbocca couldn't fulfill this adequately and the pasta, which unfortunately had a limited amount of seafood, was only made better by the freshly prepared tomato sauce. The (too) high expectations perhaps raised by other reviews were not met. But it's worth taking a look for yourself. Italy is not pizza and pasta! Try it!

A piece of Italy in Nordhorn! Little big happiness. If we lived in the region we would be regulars. Food lovingly prepared, visually and tastefully an experience. Wine also good. And without exception, everyone is friendly!!!!

A place where the chef not only eats but also passes on his soul to the guest. Food only tastes this way when someone goes to work with passion and uncompromising quality. Undoubtedly the quickest way to have a culinary holiday in Italy in Nordhorn and the surrounding area. Food that even Italians in Italy would queue up and make reservations for!

Norcineria da Francesco in Nordhorn is a true gem and without a doubt deserves a 5 star rating! As soon as you enter the restaurant you are greeted by a small but elegant ambience that immediately creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. The authentic dishes are a true feast for the senses. Every dish we tried was excellent in taste and lovingly prepared. Particularly noteworthy is the daily menu, which always offers fresh and seasonal ingredients and always provides culinary surprises. The variety and creativity of the daily specials are simply impressive. The taste of the food is second to none - you can taste the passion and craftsmanship that goes into every dish. From the starters to the desserts, everything was perfect. Norcineria da Francesco is more than just a restaurant, it is an experience for all the senses. A must for anyone who wants to enjoy authentic and delicious Italian cuisine in a beautiful setting. Absolute recommendation!

Es war voll, unsere Reservierung untergegangen, mit Einsatz des Chefs und der Bedienung fanden wir doch noch einen Tisch.Fehler machen ist menschlich. Hier wurden sie zugegeben und wiedergutgemacht. Kleine Karte, Italienisches Essen. Gute Atmosphäre.

A real highlight that I didn't expect. I've been a regular at Francesco's for about two months now and I haven't been disappointed yet. Constantly changing dishes, everything fresh and very much homemade. A real Italian (no cream in the carbonara) with a delicatessen section for home use that is second to none. Francesco can also make other creations off the menu possible upon request. 100% recommendation.

Das beste italienische Restaurant im Umkreis. Die Karte ist immer variabel und übersichtlich. Man hat die Auswahl zwischen ca. 10 Gerichten. Alle Gerichte werden frisch zubereitet mit hausgemachten Nudeln, selbst eingelegten Antipasti, frischen Fisch und qualitativ hochwertigen Fleisch. Begleitet wird man von einer umfangreichen Weinauswahl aus der Herkunftsregion des Eigentümers. Ein authentisches Restaurant wo das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis absolut stimmt. Der Service ist freundlich, zuvorkommend und aufmerksam.

The atmosphere is a gourmet shop with a small kitchen. Tables with chairs and higher tables with (very uncomfortable looking) wooden boxes are set up in the sales room as seating. There is no menu, but a board with the current daily specials. Very promising. The dishes all sounded very tasty when presented. Guests who want to eat vegetarian food may have problems. That evening there was one dish and one starter without meat. Salads were not listed. (However, Italian cuisine is not known for its vegetarian dishes, so I don't see that as a point deduction) The portions of the starters were quite small considering the prices of 18 and 25 euros respectively. The main courses were well presented and the size was appropriate. As is well known, taste can be debated, but two dishes were slightly oversalted. For me personally the best dish was the tiramisu. The farewell espresso was strong, creamy and not bitter. Delicious. My starter and main course were not spicy or well seasoned in terms of taste. Unfortunately, the taste anticipation from the presentation of the dish did not materialize. The service is very attentive and super friendly. Great team. Conclusion: Unfortunately it did not meet high expectations. A pity.

Frisch zubereitete und immer wechselnde Gerichte. Toller Service und gemütliches Ambiente. Gekocht wird mit sehr viel Liebe und Hingabe. Der Service ist wahnsinnig aufmerksam und geht auf Wünsche zuverlässig ein. Wer gute Qualität und leckeres Essen zu fairen Preisen sucht ist hier absolut richtig. Unser absoluter Lieblingsitaliener!

Sicherlich das beste italienische Essen in Nordhorn. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Meiner Meinung nach der authentischte und beste Italiener im Umkreis von 50-75km. Wechselende kleine Speisekarte, Spezialitäten wie Guancale Speck, welcher auch in der Carbonara verwendet wird. Man sollte definitiv reservieren.

Das Essen war geschmacklich der Hammer. Sehr zu empfehlen. Die Portionen könnten größer sein, wenn man richtig Hunger hat.

Der beste Italiener in Nordhorn. Toller Service, hochwertiges Essen und toller Wein. Was besseres gibt es hier in Nordhorn nicht. Sehr zu empfehlen. Wer dann noch was zu meckern hat, ist fehl am Platz. :)

Als italienerin kann ich alles in ein Wort zusammenfassen: eccellente! Es war eine authentische (Gaumen-)Reise in die Heimat. Empfehlenswert!

I've been here a couple times for lunch and 1 time for dinner and each time came away happy and satisfied. Freshly prepared pastas were perfect each time. Might be the best Italian restaurant in Nordhorn. Go now and enjoy.

Bijzonder lekker eten. Authentiek Italiaans. Inrichting is Spartaans, maar dad hoort bij de sfeer. Laat je niet afschrikken door de uitstraling van het pand. De gerechten zijn het meer dan waard om een bezoek te brengen.

Gerne nehmen wir hier den leckeren Pecorino mit, der uns eingeschweißt wird,damit die Stücke länger haltbar bleiben.

Buena comida, todo italiano de verdad

Bis zur Bezahlung ein sehr schöner Abend. Als unser Freund mit einem Gutschein bezahlen wollte, wurde dieser nicht anerkannt da der Kassenbon fehlte. Wir holten den Chef dazu , der sofort laut wurde und uns vor allen Gästen laut darauf aufmerksam machte, dass der Gutschein manipuliert sein könnte und er ihn so nicht verbuchen könne. Wir haben daraufhin doppelt gezahlt. Das war der letzte Besuch in diesem Lokal… sehr schade
