The food is great. The service was very friendly. The location of the restaurant with the beautiful view is simply great.

Very disappointing experience, horrible vedura pizza, raw, vegetables not grilled, I left 3/4 I was not asked why, (so the waitress noticed that there was a problem), nor if I wanted take away (unlike all the other restaurants in the world), out of politeness, moreover unable to explain the desserts to us, no effort to speak French (again at the end of the world the staff makes an effort but not at the border while the max of customers are French, in short 3 times in 1 year and last time!!! Nothing to do with the time of the deceased boss when we went there every Sunday, now we don't care about the customer!!!

Spontaneous dinner: Vitello Tomato, Nizza Salad & Scalopina Parmigiana with side salads...first of all olives & fresh baguette on the house. Great view - especially at sunset. Attentive service. Everything was very clean - even the menus were thoroughly washed before the restaurant closed...wow! You rarely see that!

Overall a very nice restaurant. Personally I think it's a bit big, but the outside area has a spectacular view. The restaurant is located directly next to an outdoor swimming pool. I can imagine that it is quite loud there at lunchtime in summer. When I was there, the outdoor pool was closed and it was really nice. The dishes were very tasty and beautifully presented. The service staff were consistently very accommodating.

Decent cuisine, slightly high prices, pleasant setting and service.

Have been there several times, whether for dinner for two or for a family meal, it is highly recommended. The portions are plentiful, the food tastes very good and the service staff are very friendly. Others write here that you have to wait a long time for your food if you come in a larger group, I can't agree with that. We were there with 7 people and everyone was served their food at the same time even though the restaurant was full. Some people were concerned about the fact that the cooks and service staff were people and not 10 armed robots; that the food arrived at the table quickly, hot and beautifully served. Since I had a few problems with the reservation, I would like to point out that the lady on the phone was very accommodating about this. Also a big compliment to the Vietnamese waitress for her friendliness. The restaurant, the toilets and also the small play area outside for the children are clean, well maintained and there are no dangers in the play area in terms of sharp corners or edges. In terms of price, the whole thing is also very good for the ambience, quality, portion size, service and location.

The 2024 summer festival at “Da Pino” was great with great weather and great live music. Very friendly and attentive staff; Superbly arranged barbecue evening with delicious food. And then a little dance in the afterglow, simply brilliant.

I've been a guest there for a long time and miss the ambience of Gerado. A lot has changed recently. The food is no longer that good and overpriced. Charging 10 euros for a glass of simple red wine is excessive. Now the bread, if reordered, costs 2.50 euros. There is no longer any limoncello or similar at the end. No thanks. There are better and nicer Italian restaurants nearby.

I was very happy with everything, the menu offers a large selection of different Italian dishes and if you can't find anything here you can't help it. The dishes we ordered were all very tasty and freshly prepared. The waitresses were all very friendly, despite the stress they had that day. We were definitely very satisfied.

Disappointed with the service, there were a table of 6 people, unfortunately we did not order aperitifs and every 5 minutes, the waitress came to ask us if we had chosen. I told him not yet, he didn't like it. Then the defrosted bread, not good. At home, quickly eat and check out. Unacceptable 😭. It is thanks to us who are customers that the restaurant operates. So a little pity for the customers. Things have changed a lot since the old boss is no longer there 😭. It was much better, he took great care of these customers. I recently visited this Italian restaurant with my family and, unfortunately, it did not live up to our expectations. Despite the high prices, the quality of the food was subpar. We all ordered pizzas, and it was immediately clear that these were not freshly made but rather store-bought from a supermarket. As someone who knows a lot about food, I found this very disappointing. The dough of the pizza was cheap and frozen. Furthermore, the olive oil they served was not 100% pure. Despite the staff's assurances, it was evident that the oil was a blend of cheaper oils, compromising the authenticity and flavor of the dishes. The only redeeming factors were the lovely view and the attentive service, which is why I am giving this restaurant 2 stars. If you're looking for genuine Italian cuisine, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

As already mentioned, the restaurant is rather unspectacular from the outside. But the interior and the view make up for it all. The service was very courteous and great. The food - apart from the main course - was very tasty. I decided on a recommendation and was unfortunately a little disappointed. The highlight for me was the dessert! Really delicious!

Viel zu lange Wartezeit , ca 1,5 Stunden auf Essen Brot (trockenes aufgebackenes Baguette) muss zusätzlich bezahlt werden. (Das war der Bedienung offensichtlich peinlich.) Verpackung um Reste mit nach Hause zu nehmen muss bezahlt werden. Deswegen nicht empfehlenswert. Essen sehr gut Bedienung sehr freundlich

No recommendation. Given the prices, I would have thought the food would be better. But the food was just bad. It's better to go to some cheap disgusting Italian restaurant if you're into this kind of low quality stuff. It can be nice too. But here you pay as much as at an upscale Italian restaurant. But the atmosphere was nice and the service was friendly and attentive... P.S. Additional bread costs extra... Very unsympathetic

Leider waren wir sehr enttäuscht. Zusätzliches Brot kostet nun Euro2,00. Portionen werden immer kleiner aber der Preis immer höher. Wir werden so schnell nicht mehr hin gehen.

Ich gehe seit langem in dieses Restaurant. Irgendwann hat der Eigentümer gewechselt. Da wurde das Essen nicht besser, aber teurer. Das neueste ist jetzt, wenn Brot = sehr dünne Scheiben von aufgebackenem Baguette, nachbestellt wird, kostet das 2,50 Euro. Nein danke, da gibt es empfehlenswerte Restaurants in der Gegend

Went to the pizzeria yesterday and we were very disappointed! You didn't get a final drink there, which was always offered, nor a second bread basket. In the past you could always get everything there and it was very hospitable there.

The food was delicious and the service was excellent.

Extrem Überteuert und absolut ungenießbar! Wir haben zum mitnehmen bestellt und konnten unseren Augen kaum trauen, als wir die Gerichte ausgepackt haben. Die Zutaten sind schlechter Qualität, die Rahmsoße war glibberig, Salatsauce aus dem Eimer… Der totale Reinfall und eine absolute Frechheit solche Preise zu verlangen!

Very nice restaurant, with good menu options, pizzas, pastas and escalopes (Milanese or cream etc. On the heights of the city with a beautiful terrace and superb view of the surrounding area. In short, we enjoyed it.

We came here for dinner in the evening while picking up a vehicle. The advance reservation online worked without any problems. The place setting of white bread with garlic butter was very tasty, and of course the pizza was also excellent. The waiting time for the food was reasonable, the wait was worth it, so to speak, and you were treated to really freshly prepared food. The price was absolutely ok, I was rather surprised because I was expecting higher prices. We sat in the winter garden and the view of the surrounding hills at sunset was really beautiful! We can absolutely recommend Da Pino!

Was a guest again today for 5 years... and was disappointed. After an obligatory mountain greeting, we were escorted to our table. A short time later the food order was taken and “a greeting from the kitchen” was brought to the table, which I found to be positive. The greeting from the kitchen was stolen from us again after about 10 minutes, even though there were still guests trying, as the food they had ordered was brought, although the pasta dish came to our table later and we didn't start eating at the same time. In my opinion, the food is nothing special anymore...the freshness was missing, my cordon bleu was not freshly fried but rather made "warm" and served with a sauce with a lot of glutamate. Now my questions: Where has the friendliness from before, when Gerado was still alive, gone? A nice conversation at the table? There used to be a drink on the house at the end... which is no longer available. I don't want to offend anyone with my personal opinion, but I didn't feel well at all tonight.

A very nice restaurant. There were four of us there. The food tasted very good (e.g. rum steak, chef's salad, cordon bleu and wiener schnitzel). The price/performance ratio is appropriate. Very good, attentive staff. We'd love to come back.

A typical Italian restaurant with nice guests and wait staff. The food tastes excellent and the portions are large enough. Nobody goes home hungry here. In summer you can cool off and enjoy an ice cream as the swimming pool is next door.

I ordered my steak "English", unfortunately it was completely cooked. The response to my complaint was as follows: "I'm sorry for that". No further reaction. I don't need that again😡

We always enjoy eating there. In summer on the large terrace with a great view or on colder days in the winter garden. My favorite: Chefsalat Gerardo

I liked the ambience of the place. The furnishings are tasteful, structured, perhaps slightly overloaded. The service was very friendly, courteous, not intrusive and yet always there when needed. We were there with a large group, which is why we were able to compare portion sizes easily. There were portions that were quite reasonable for the price. But there were also portions where the very high price couldn't be justified. This is especially true if you order a rum steak medium rare and get it bloody. I really liked the side salad, the fries were also perfectly fine, but my rum steak didn't taste like anything. And the herb butter wasn't convincing in terms of taste either. Overall, I thought the prices were a bit higher. But I'm also willing to pay prices like that, but then everything has to be right and I can't say that about my visit. The majority of the group was happy with everything and will probably come again, but I will probably not be a guest at this location.

Es war ein sehr schöner Abend, das Essen war ein Genuss, einer sehr guten Italienischen Küche, der Antipasti Teller und auch die Hauptspeisen waren einfach perfekt. Ein gelungener Abend mit wundervollen Ambiente, der Service war äußerst angenehm und zuvorkommend, von daher immer wieder gerne.

Essen, Service,Ambiente alles top, wir 8 Personen waren sehr zufrieden. Wir können Ristorante Da Pino nur weiter empfehlen. Vielen Dank für den schönen Abend.

Nous sommes arrivés tard à huit personnes sur réservation, nous avons été bien accueillis tout en nous disant que le restaurant fermera dès que nous serons partis puisque nous étions les derniers. Malgré tout le service fut efficace, souriant et pas dans le stress. Les plats étaient bons et certains pantagruéliques. A ma demande on m'a emballé le reste de mon repas. Nous gardons un excellent souvenir de ce restaurant à spécialités italiennes et nous reviendrons pour découvrir d'autres plats.

Service sehr aufmerksam und nett. Waren an einem Steaktag da (wussten das aber nicht vorher) deshalb wohl sehr voll. Steaks waren gut, auf den Punkt. Sehr grosse Portion, kaum zu bewältigen. Wurde aber direkt angeboten den Rest mitzunehmen. Auch Frites gute Portion. Preis/Leistung gut. Waren angenehm überrascht. Nur die Pfeffersauce war nicht mein Geschmack, kenne sie sonst besser. Aber sonst keine Abstriche. Alles gut Kann gerne weiter empfohlen werden

Da Pino ist eine Institution. Gerichte (Pfifferlinge) sehr gut, Aussicht auf das Saartal unschlagbar und man fühlt sich willkommen in der Familie…

Sehr schönes Ambiente, große Außenterasse, sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Bedienung, essen hervorragend.

Wurden freundlich begrüßt, leider war der Service nicht sehr aufmerksam. Die Nudeln kamen einige Zeit vor der Pizza, was sehr schade ist, da wir ja gemeinsam essen wollten. Insgesamt ist das Lokal sehr teuer. Die Nudel kosten 15,00€, was für spaghetti aglio e olio, für mein Empfinden, sehr teuer ist. Die Pizza ebenfalls mit 15,00€ ist ein stolzer Preis. Das vorab Brot war auch eher trocken, und wäre nicht notwendig gewesen. Wäre es nicht so arg teuer, würden wir einen Besuch nochmal erwegen, da es gut geschmeckt hat.

Wir hatten 2 Pizzen, die beide echt nicht lecker geschmeckt haben. Die Krönung war allerdings ein abgelaufenes Bier (sollte in einem Lokal nicht vorkommen), als der Chef drauf angesprochen wurde hat er versucht es herunterzuspielen und hat es später wiederwillig von der Rechnung genommen. Schade, nicht mehr dass was es mal war.

Ganz spontan entschieden, kurz angerufen und trotz fast ausgebuchtem Restaurant und großer Hektik im Hintergrund sehr freundlich angenommen worden. Das Essen ein Traum - superzart und lecker Steak - für jeden Steakliebhaber empfehlenswert.... Einzig etwas störend ist die Akustik, der Raum ist sehr laut.

Bonjour, très très bon restaurant, je le conseille vivement, la cuisine est excellente, très beau dressage des assiettes, le service est professionnel et attentif au moindre souhait, il y a possibilité de prendre les repas en terrasse c'est super, les gnocchis étaient un peu pimenté mais bon c'est une affaire de goût, un bon choix de vins italien de qualité supérieure, j'ai vraiment apprécié, les prix sont plus que correcte et l'ambiance est vraiment très classe, c'est une belle expérience à faire.

Ça à bien changé, les pizzas 🍕 on dirait du surgelés et en plus chère, très déçu 😞 je n'y retournerai pas.

Es schmeckt mega gut und damit ist der Preis auch gerechtfertigt. Wir machen für die Mondscheinmärkte unsere Besprechungen dort immer und es ist immer alles supi. Nur schade, dass es diesmal mühsam war an Getränke zu kommen, wenn die Gläser leer waren. Ich hätte mir da gern eine Prise mehr Aufmerksamkeit gewünscht. Sonst alles top.

Für uns war es der erste Besuch beim Pino und wir waren begeistert. Das schnitzel parmigiana spezial kann ich wärmstens empfehlen. Mega. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Herzlichen Dank, wir kommen bestimmt wieder, auch wenn es ein ganzes Stück weit entfernt ist 😀
