Ristorante da Peppo in Scheßlitz

Nach einigen zufriedenen Besuchen im Lokal leider einmal schlechte Muscheln und viel zu weich gekochten Tintenfisch erwischt. Anlässlich einer Geburtstagsfeier leider eine lieblose, komplett unaufmerksame Bewirtung und auch da schwankende Essensqualität.

Essen war top, nur der Servis war etwas langsam

Eine echte Instanz im Ort, so gute Pizza und andere Gerichte bekommt man nirgendwo sonst in der Gegend bei Preisen über die man sich nicht beschweren kann. Selbst wenn man spontan zum Abholen bestellt dauert es oft keine halbe Stunde und alles ist frisch fertig. Ich esse hier sehr gerne die Pizza Diavolo, aus dem Steinofen der Hammer. Immer gerne!

Alles top. Sehr empfehlenswert. Außensitzbereich an der Straße (klar baulich nicht anders möglich 😅). Bei viel Verkehr leider auch viel Lärm oder Abgase. Aber Innenraum auch top😊👍komme gerne wieder . Speisenauswahl suuuuper

Pizza war ist echt gut. Nudeln waren leider gar nichts, möchte soweit gehen, die schlechtesten meines Lebens ......

Als Römer muss ich sagen, dass das Essen im Peppo's Restaurant ausgezeichnet ist. Wir hatten das berühmte Cordon Bleu ... furchtbar, und die Auberginen-Parmigiana, ein wahrhaft italienisches Gericht.

Wir waren etwa 17:30 Uhr am Sonntag und haben den letzten freien Tisch erhalten. Telefonisch reservieren scheint empfehlenswert zu sein. Service sehr freundlich und gut. Wir haben Salat und Pasta gewählt. Die Salatsauce ist (zu) reichlich und wirkt mächtig bzw. schwer. Die Pasta selbst war gut und die Portion großzügig, die Sauce auch zu mächtig bzw. schwer. Da merkt man im Positiven die ländliche Lage, wäre in der Stadt Bamberg kleiner und teurer. Kann man mal hingehen, ein „Stamm-Italiener“ wahrscheinlich nicht. Werde mal auf die Tageskarte schauen beim nächsten Besuch.

Haben Familien Pizza geholt zur Familienfeier waren gut.

WIR, kamen bisher immer überraschend & wurden jedesmal herzlichst begrüßt, untergebracht.....ordentlich bestens. Chef/ in so putzelig, fleißig......der Siziliano schmeckt soooo lecker, die Vorspeisen ebenso, selbst bei Nachfragen.....über die Muschelherkunft: kommt Peppi, mit dem Original als Nachweis. Welche ausgezeichnet schmeckten.....wie auch der Rest und wir kennen fast Alles " an Essen" dort, über die Zeit. Wir, kommen sporadisch, jedesmal wie es uns überkommt......Lust auf : italiano & wann immer, bestes italienisches Essen, superfreundliche Familie.....da gab es noch nie irgendetwas zu beanstanden. Schnaps dort, zum Abschluss ! Ich weiß nicht wo die Herrschaften speisen, ergo.....erhielten wir noch nie: dies ist ein Top- itali. Restaurant' e. Dafür Leckerli ohne Ende.....wie herzlichsten Bedienung.

Excellent Italian restaurant. Friendly staff. The owner personally oversees the service and is always in a good mood. The food is perfect. The pizzas are incredibly delicious! Highly recommended. They're also open for lunch, which is rare. In short: A+ with a star. We'll be back!

Excellent value for money Great atmosphere

First time there – absolutely outrageous! I was charged extra even though I hadn't ordered any, even for Parmesan. The owner opened my packaged pizza and looked inside. When I said I wouldn't be coming back, she just said, "I don't care." Never again!

A very good and affordable Italian restaurant. The pizza, pasta, and steak were always perfectly prepared and incredibly delicious. Excellent service and a pleasant atmosphere rounded off the evening.

We stopped there for lunch while passing through. My tortellini was cooked extremely al dente, as was my husband's tagliatelle. The sauces were quite okay.

While passing through Schesslitz, I treated myself to a pit stop and took a break at the restaurant. The restaurant looks nice from the outside, and the beer garden significantly enhances the overall appearance. After ordering, I waited maybe 15 minutes, which was fine. The meal was good—solid for an Italian restaurant. However, my drink wasn't carbonated, which is a negative for me. Since the drink is about 400% more expensive than in stores, I naturally expect the corresponding quality, which unfortunately wasn't the case here. The service was friendly and did her job. When I asked about my order or my drink, she simply said that she had just opened the bottle and therefore it couldn't be it. The beer garden is very nicely designed, but is located on a main road, which prompted me to change my seat. Otherwise, everything was fine. Overall, I can recommend the restaurant and would give it another chance.

A perfect Italian restaurant where you feel like you're among friends. The place is fully decorated in Sicilian style.

If it were possible to give less than one star, I would! I booked a table for four people a week ago. It was a long drive, and then we found the door locked. On the door, there was just a notice:... Closed today due to a large party service... That's just unacceptable 🙈 I had my phone number, and I didn't receive a cancellation. That's what you call customer service! Definitely not with me again.

The food isn't really Italian, but rather German-style cuisine, overpowered by cream. Furthermore, it took about an hour for the food to arrive. The carbonara check on the menu immediately revealed everything you need to know. The menu is too large, so convenience products and the quality of the food are poor.

We were on our motorcycle ride and wanted something delicious to eat! Since my partner had been there before and said they had very good Italian food, I was very excited and full of anticipation. As soon as we asked for a table for two, we were assigned a small table, but friendly would have been different! My partner ordered pizza, and I ordered spaghetti carbonara. The pizza looked very good and tasted good! My spaghetti, on the other hand, was barely edible! Is that supposed to be Italian? Overcooked pasta in a scrambled egg sauce with way too much salt!!! Disgusting! I didn't think it was worth saying anything, and since the hostess was already in a bad mood, we left quickly. Never again!

Table simply given away! We had reserved a table for our son's confirmation yesterday for the family celebration. When the church service took longer than expected, we called right on time to say we were still coming. Nevertheless, our table was simply given away. We were asked to leave the restaurant without an apology. The family celebration was canceled. When profit takes precedence over service, that's very worrying.

We had reserved a table several weeks in advance and then arrived late because my formal service lasted 10 minutes longer, but we had called beforehand to say we would be late. They simply gave our table to someone else, and when we arrived, the people there were extremely rude, first accusing us of not calling and then saying it was our own fault. Why couldn't they say it? When we asked what else we should do, they rudely and dismissively said it was our problem. I don't really recommend eating here. There are better and more relaxed places to go.

The pizzas were very good and generously topped, and there was also a large selection on the menu at normal prices, so there was something for everyone. Attentive and courteous condition. Overall, a great restaurant in a pleasant atmosphere. Always worth a visit.

The food was very good and the atmosphere was very nice. Boss was very friendly. Unfortunately we sat there with empty glasses for quite a long time. I waited a long time for the box and then another long time to pay but otherwise everything was fine. Service staff could be friendlier and more attentive

Food tasted very good. Best value for money. The only point of criticism for children is no ice cream for dessert.

Highly recommended. The food was very tasty and the service was always attentive. We had various pasta, steak, pizza, cordon blue - everything was just great. No superfluous “fancy” but still elegant. There are 5 stars for this. Unfortunately, the restaurant is very narrow and borders on being overcrowded - that's why we deducted one star. We'll be back!

Food really delicious 😋... mango we were the first to order, a total of 8 adults and two small children. After more than an hour, everyone still had no food. It was then explained to us that one of us had a starter and that meant we all moved to the back and all the tables around us were brought forward. After 1.5 hours, our small children received their food upon request and little by little the adults.

Due to the absolutely relaxed prices, the restaurant was far too crowded (Sunday evening). Unfortunately, the beef fillet tips in the Gorgonzola Spaghetti were more than inedible, and an Italian putting Parma ham in the oven is new to me... All in all, great, nice service, but we didn't like the food at all

There is an extensive menu with reasonable prices. The open wines were tasty. There is also a well-stocked selection of bottled wines.

The best Italian we've ever been to. Not a pizza place. Everything is great from the grill to the fish platter to the salad and the pasta. Super Service. Family run and simply great. Reservation recommended. Packed over the Pentecost weekend. The price-performance ratio is really good.

Very good pizza, delicious mussels and the Cordon Blue is reminiscent of a handball with a lot of cheese inside. Really brilliant. Staff are generally always friendly, no matter how busy the place is. Prices also affordable for families. We really enjoy coming here

We visited “da Peppo” for the first time. We received a very warm welcome, sat down on the outside terrace and enjoyed the sun. The service was extremely friendly and competent. The food was excellent. We ate salads, pizza bread, grilled octopus and mussels in white wine. There was also a very good Pinot Grigio. Everything was perfect. The price level is reasonable. We'd love to come back.

Wer die italienische Küche liebt und diese in einem tollen Ambiente genießen möchte, ist hier bestens aufgehoben. Große Portionen zum wirklich kleinen Preis und sehr sehr lecker. Sehr freundliches Personal. Ich kann aber empfehlen, vorher anrufen und einen Tisch zu bestellen, da aufgrund des hervorragenden Service mit vielen Gästen zu rechnen ist.

Das Essen ist super und die Bedienung sehr freundlich.

Das Essen war super lecker, die Bedienung war leider sehr unfreundlich, hat nicht reagiert, als wir noch eine Nachspeise bestellen wollten und wir mussten 3x nachfragen, ob wir bitte bezahlen können. Als sie endlich mit der Rechnung kam, konnten wir nicht mit Karte zahlen, weil sie meinte, dass wir das ja schon vorher hätten sagen müssen und sie das jetzt nicht mehr ändern kann und wir da, so zusagen, jetzt pech hätten und das unsere eigene schuld war. Ich habe selbst schon im Service gearbeitet und verstehe, wenn viel los ist und man gestresst ist. Aber wenn Kartenzahlung angeboten wird und das Gerät augenscheinlich funktioniert, muss das auch möglich sein. Es wäre ihre Aufgabe gewesen, uns zu fragen, wie wir bezahlen möchten. Ein Bonstorno in der Kasse ist immer möglich, aber dazu hatte die gute Frau offensichtlich keine Lust und wollte lieber Dampf ablassen. Schade, dass man bei so gutem Essen einen so schlechten Service bekommt.

Zentral gelegenes italienisches Restaurant, direkt bei der Kilianskirche, das meinen Spaghetti-Carbonara-Test mit Bravour bestanden hat. Sehr lobenswert ist auch der grosse Biergarten mit Tischen in allen Grössen, geeignet für Liebespaare bis Grossfamilien.

Bester Italiener in der Umgebung. Service super. Man fühlt sich als würde man zur Famile dazu gehören. Da kümmert sich der Chef persönlich noch um die Gäste.

Super netter Service. Extrem leckeres Essen mit Gerichten, die nicht die 08/15 Gerichte von anderen Italienern sind. Frische Produkte. Auf Sonderwünsche wird problemlos eingegangen. Der Padrone ist ein guter und netter Gastgeber. Wir waren schon mehrmals da und werden wiederkommen, die Qualität war immer gleich gut.
