Not recommended. If you want to eat typical Italian food, then please don't. We wanted to give the restaurant a chance, but were unfortunately very disappointed. I rarely write a bad review, but I don't want others to feel the same way.

After we were assigned a seat, we initially seemed to have been forgotten and only received the card after 15 minutes. The service was very friendly and everything ran smoothly. The pizza and pasta were very good. The ambience is great and the price is normal. All in all a great evening.

Were here again for dinner. The food was very tasty. I was also able to try a new cocktail creation. Super tasty. Thanks to Cosimo and the team. We look forward to seeing you again soon.👋

We ate there for the first time today. Unfortunately the carbonara wasn't that great. (Lukewarm and not that great in taste either). Spaghetti with scampi was super tasty, as was spaghetti with fillet strips. The service was super friendly and just great. Unfortunately you don't have that often anymore. We were not charged for the carbonara. It's very nice that the customers are taken into account.

The food was good. One or two dishes bear the chef's individual signature, but we didn't find this disturbing. The service was friendly and attentive. We were here once 3-4 years ago. The restaurant has developed positively.

One of the worst lasagna i have ever had. And i have had them all over europe. This one just was too liquidity, felt like i was earing tomato soup. The mocktail was good, it was strong but the quantity was less, the other pasta i didn't try but my friend said it was good. They also gave some bread with cheese complimentary, which was very boring. But the location of the restaurant is great, just next to it is stairs that lead to water, so it was convenient.

We visited the restaurant based on the reviews because they say they have great pasta. The selection is large. But for us it lacked spice. However, the ambience was subterranean: arcade atmosphere, hall lighting, knick-knacks everywhere and a really loud ice cream freezer that was constantly on and was so loud that you could no longer converse or hear the music. We won't be coming back.

We were allowed to sit down on a Saturday evening without a reservation. Fast and very friendly service. Very nice atmosphere. The food is a poem and large portions. Our drink mix generous. It's a shame that we would only vacation here if my tribe were Italian. Everything on top!

I ordered the tagliatelle with spinach and gorgonzola. Unfortunately, it was not written on the menu that this dish contains meat. So if you want to order vegetarian, you should probably ask again. I think this should actually be clearly marked on the menu. Unfortunately, the taste of the other dishes wasn't convincing either. It was also quite expensive for what you get.

We ordered lasagne and pizza. Unfortunately, the lasagne was quite bland, overloaded with cheese and did not correspond to the "original recipe". The pizza tasted great, but with the thin base and dry edge, it wasn't quite my cup of tea. Service good!

Unfortunately we didn't have a good experience at all! It felt like we were at the train station, everyone seemed rushed and not exactly friendly. The ambience outside is not nice at all! Tables full of prints, seat cushions covered in spills! Pizza was very carelessly topped, I've eaten much better! The only thing was that it was quick! Unfortunately, I don't recommend it!

We were looking for a location for our wedding celebration and came across this one. The first impression was very positive - the location itself made a great impression and the staff was extremely friendly. Unfortunately, our impression changed during the personal consultation with the boss. We found that there was a lack of organization and professionalism. There were no general buffet or menu suggestions, so we had to put together our own meal. We were only offered the choice between a "normal" and a "high-quality" buffet - but what exactly that meant remained unclear. There was a lack of structure and concrete assistance to put together a suitable buffet. We were also informed that an external wedding cake was not welcome for alleged hygienic reasons. If we had still decided on an external cake, a plate fee of 4.50 euros per person would have been charged. We found this to be an unfortunate solution, especially since plates and cutlery are provided at the buffet anyway. Another point that bothered us was the restriction on the DJ's volume due to the surrounding residents. This might have put a damper on the celebrations. What particularly irritated us, however, was the calculation of the prices. The boss had originally calculated for 50 guests, but when we pointed out to him that we were only expecting 30 guests, the price didn't change. That seemed very strange to us. All in all, the location would have been very suitable for our celebration, but due to the unorganized structure, lack of flexibility and non-transparent pricing, we ultimately decided against it.

Highly recommended. We'll definitely be back.

A nice restaurant where you can spontaneously get a table even on a Saturday. The food was good, but there is room for improvement. Starting with the bruschetta. You know it and love it, but this was a little different. There were small mini breads that were the size of a cracker. Lots of rocket and tomatoes on top. In the end we had salad rather than bread. The Diabolo pizza wasn't spicy and the Pizza Speziale had diced ham instead of ham strips. In addition, you know it in every restaurant that when the waiter comes and hands the plate across the table, you take it from him (no one has ever said anything). But there is a waiter there with longer hair who brings you the food and when you want to take it, he jerks the plate away and doesn't really look at you in a friendly way. We ordered cocktails and one was lost when we ordered. There is still potential for improvement.

The food was very tasty, both the salmon with spinach and the burrata fillering steak. Outside you also have a beautiful view of St. Peter's Church.

This time there was an ice cream to take away, which tasted very tasty.👍

The salami was very flavorful, my daughter didn't like it on her pizza. A hint from the waitress would have been good and would have changed the choice. Everyone else was happy with their order, there could have been more cheese on the pizza.

Eat: The food was brought to the table very warm and was also delicious and just about earned the 4th star. Unfortunately, the taste was lacking for a 5th star, especially compared to the competition in the area. Service: The staff was very friendly and happy to accommodate special requests. Ambiance: The restaurant is located almost directly on the water. In summer (like yesterday), when the weather is good, you can enjoy the evening sun on the spacious terrace. Top. Last week in the afternoon I was greeted with a "what do you want" with my fiancée, including an undertone? Was already wired... Then no drinks menu within 1-2 minutes even though the waitress walked past to the other table, it was a cheek and we left the place immediately. Work on your staff!

My portion was relatively small. But taste good. There are traditionally small rolls with a cream as well as olive oil and balsamic vinegar to bridge the waiting time. Unfortunately this time it only came when the food was brought. The ambience comes from the view of the water and St. Peter's Church.

We had dinner on a Sunday evening. The restaurant was very busy. Great ambience, great service and super delicious food. Actually 5 stars everywhere. However, we were there again 3 days later in the afternoon around 5 p.m. The restaurant was almost empty. Three employees were there for 4 occupied tables and a bit of walk-in customers. (The Sunday before, almost all tables were occupied + walk-in customers!!!) The starter came in a reasonable amount of time. Unfortunately, we only got the main course after an hour and a half. The waitress had absolutely no eye for empty glasses or hearing when she walked past the table. (If she was visible at all) The waitress seemed completely absent because she also brought the wrong drink and the wrong size twice. I have no idea what was going on that day. But we were really disappointed that the really great food was ruined by the poor service that afternoon. Therefore unfortunately only 3 stars. Too bad

Staff were polite and helpful, yet not really knowledgeable of neither the food nor the drinks menu. Food was so-so. Tagliatelle with spinach and Gorgonzola were good. The kid’s pasta bolognese were too salty and the meat was rather bland, not to say dry. The salmon tagliatelle with spinach were drowning in too thin sauce, which was probably meant well but kind of ruined the plate. Servings were generous but unfortunately that could not make up for the rather disappointing quality.

A great Italian restaurant with a nice atmosphere and friendly service. We didn't have to wait long for the food and it was very tasty. The prices are good value for money. All in all, definitely recommended.

Had a Margherita pizza to go here. Unfortunately I can't recommend it. Instead of mozzarella, this cheap pizza cheese, the dough wasn't fluffy either, it was heavy on my stomach, you won't find basil.

An all around great experience! We felt very welcome, the food (starter platter for 2) was great and the wine was delicious. This was the best herb butter we have ever tasted, super fluffy. And very warm service, thank you!

The always friendly staff and the delicious food always make the visit a good experience. Highly recommended is the appetizer platter for two, with lots of delicacies. We'd love to come back.

We had dinner here this evening. First of all, it has to be said that the food was absolutely appetizing and the prices were also totally reasonable. Unfortunately, our impression of this restaurant was so damaged by the waiter with the pigtail that we would definitely not enter this restaurant again. As soon as we entered the restaurant, the waiter seemed less pleased with us than guests. When we quickly ordered two drinks, they didn't arrive until about 20 minutes after we ordered. What is questionable here is that the restaurant was only very moderately busy at that time. This can happen, but all of this trumped the sheer arrogance of the waiter in question. When placing the order, he only listened to a limited extent and continued to make strange comments, which did not seem at all customer-oriented or even friendly. The appearance of the other person is often subjective, but we all had the same impression of the waiter. Very unfortunate.

I have to correct, I wasn't in the colossseo, but at the Chinese restaurant next door, Great restaurant with a delicious buffet, there was everything from raw meat that you could have fried as desired, to the well-filled buffet with fish, poultry, ... ice cream, cake, etc. The staff was very friendly, if not so far I would go back come

Die Qualität des Essens hat wenig mit italienischer Küche zu tun. Tagliatelle mut Rinderfiletspitzen,Steinpilzen und frischen Tomaten und Parmesansplittern in Rotweinsoße sah aus ,wie Gulasch in der Schulspeisung. Alles war in Soße ertränkt und geschmacklich war die Soße eher eine glasige Mehlpampe.Das Bruscetta waren 4 Minibagettscheiben mit einem Haufen kleiner Tomatenwürfel mit viel großen Zwiebelstücken ohne Basilikum . Olivenöl habe ich ganz vermisst. Das Rumpsteak war zäh. Insgesamt war das Essen schlecht. Die Cocktails in sehr kleinen Gläsern .Wenn man die Eiswürfel abzieht maximal 0,2 ml und nach Gin hat da auch nichts geschmeckt. Der Service war freundlich.

We were invited there for a birthday with the family. Several tables and chairs were put together for us and arranged very nicely. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. “Special requests” were also addressed immediately and everything was tried to be implemented as requested. The food was super tasty. Well presented on the plates and everything was just harmonious. Even the little ones lasted a long time and were always kept busy. We really liked it there and we will definitely come back again. It's best to book a table in advance by phone or in person.

I expected more from a rump steak for over €30. It was a pretty tough piece of meat with some tendons in it. They managed to get medium rare, but didn't rip it out. The whole thing is a bit overpriced. I wouldn't necessarily recommend it.

Very nice restaurant with a typical Italian menu. We were welcomed very warmly and served attentively and in a friendly manner. A great restaurant and absolutely recommended. The only deductions were due to my vegan diet and therefore the very limited selection of dishes. There are no restrictions for mixed food lovers.

Gemütliches Restautant. Sehr netter Kellner. Das Bruschetta ist geschmacklich wirklich Hammer. Die italienische Carbonara ist gut, aber nicht der Brüller. Trotzdem rundum zufrieden 😉

Hallo, kurz zusammengefasst: freundliches, nettes und kompetentes Fachpersonal. Angenehm unaufdringlich! 5⭐️ dafür. Das Ambiente und die Karte fanden wir sehr ansprechend. Für jeden Geschmack, inkl. Vegetarier*in etwas dabei. Es handelt sich hierbei um hochwertige italienische Küche, bei den aktuellen Waren-, Personal- und Nebenkosten sind hier Preis-Leistung angemessen und gerechtfertigt. Der Gruß aus der Küche war ansprechend und lecker, regte den Appetit auf mehr an. Pizza und Pasta wurden schnell, heiß und angenehm gewürzt anbei Pfeffer und Salz gereicht. Ein gelungenes Essen, wir kommen wieder. Ich kann das Colosseo uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Das Ambiente ist ok, wobei ich die ganzen Flaschen mit Alkohol im Eingangsbereich nicht so toll fand. Die Toiletten waren nicht sauber. Der Service war freundlich, da gibt es nichts zu beanstanden. Das Essen war unterdurchschnittlich bis katastrophal. Die Tagliatelle mit Scampi sind in einer wässrigen Sauce ersoffen umgeben von Dosenpilzen. Das für einen Preis von 18,90€. Beim ersten Anblick ist einem gleich der Appetit vergangen. Das Putenschnitzel für die Kinder hat seltsam gerochen und nicht geschmeckt. Mein Essen war essbar aber dafür gehe ich nicht in ein Restaurant. Ich verwende auch hochwertigere Zutaten wenn ich selber koche und habe bei solchen Restaurants auch langsam keine Lust mehr auswärts zu essen. 70,50€ für nichts. Sind sehr enttäuscht.

Das Essen ist wirklich tiptop und auch die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Ein Stern Abzug gibt es, weil es alkoholische Getränke wie Bier in größeren Varianten gibt, aber alkoholfreie Getränke nicht. Das empfinde ich ein wenig als Pro-Alkohol-Einstellung, was meines Erachtens nicht gerade schön ist. Da ich nicht alles aufgegessen hatte, durfte ich den Rest des Essens mit nach Hause nehmen. Leider wurde die Verpackung berechnet. Das finde ich schade, denn ich glaube die ganzen Müllkosten, die durch das Wegwerfen von Essen entstehen, sind um einiges höher!

I am sorry, but this is not italian cuisine at all. We tried some pizza. For some reason they have in the menu PIZZA CARBONARA (a pizza with a pasta carbonara on it), and pizza with turkey (!?). Is not just the topping the problem, since the dough was no soft at all and quite test-less. In general not a nice pizza at all. I hope that the other plates are better. On the other hands, the place is nice, with a cool atmosphere, and the waiters are really kind

Wir waren mit 4 Erwachsenen und ein Kind essen! Der Kellner und die Kellnerin waren zum Anfang sehr schnell und höflich! Zu Essen hatten wir Pizza, 2x Nudelgerichte, Tomate Mozzarella und Bruchetta! Spaghetti mit Meeresfrüchten total versalzen, Spaghetti mit Riesengarnelen war kaum Sauce, Pizza und Bruchetta sahen aus wie Tomatensalat!! Dieses äußerten wir dem Kellner, welcher das zumindest bei den Bruchetta eingesehen hatte! Anschließend kam aber kein Feedback bzw. ein Gruß von der Bar! Wir kommen nicht wieder!! PS: Es soll sich um einen Italiener Koch handeln!!!

It's located in a very nice area. Very friendly staff. Good vegetarian options. Food was, in general, tasty but at some point didn't fulfill my expectations: for example, in my spaghetti aglio e olio, there were chili pickles instead of fresh chili! (Maybe there are different recipes for this food)

Ohne Reservierung einen Tisch bekommen.....freundliches nettes Personal.....wir hatten eine buratta,Rumpsteak,und eine Pizza und wir haben es nicht geschafft aufzuessen....es war einfach zuviel für uns.....und es hat super lecker geschmeckt.....kommen gerne wieder.....ein großes Lob an Küche und Service......ich empfehle aber einen Tisch zu reservieren

Wir haben einen Gutschein geschenkt bekommen und haben den anlässig meines Geburtstags eingelöst. Der Service war aufmerksam, unterhaltsam und locker drauf. Wir hatten das Gefühl schon öfter dort gewesen zu sein. Die Portionen sind gewaltig aber auch Mega lecker! Das waren die besten Spaghetti di Maren meines Lebens! Alles frisch, sehr vielseitig und reichhaltig! Vielen Dank für diese leckeren Speisen! Wir kommen wieder, auch wenn es nicht gerade nebenan ist!

Noch nie so schlecht gegessen... Durchweg alle Komponenten auf dem Teller waren nicht schmackhaft. Spargel viel zu hart, Rosmarinkartoffeln ungenießbar, Kalbsschnitzel ...mir fehlen die Worte.

A nice location down at the waterside with delicate decoration and appealing menu. It was prompt to order and for the food to arrive. It is somewhat more expensive than a general pizza place, but the dough was very good and perfectly crispy.

Wir waren zur Mittagszeit dort. Der Service war ausgesprochen freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Essen kann ich nur als schlecht bezeichnen. Ich hatte einen Salat mit Thunfisch bestellt. Bekommen habe ich einen Berg nassen Eisbergsalat mit ein paar Tomatenstücken, Zwiebeln, reichlich in Dilldressing eingelegte Gurkenscheiben (Norddeutsche Art und sicher aus dem Eimer) und drei Scheiben von einem Käse, der keinen Geschmack hatte. Meine Tochter hatte Spaghetti Carbonara, die nach nichts schmeckten, weil einfache magere Schinkenwürfel und geschmackloser Käse für die Sauce genommen wurde. Wenigstens war sie ohne Sahne. Meine Frau bekam eine sehr fettige Pizza Margherita.

Hallo Leute, leider sind wir nicht gleich dazu gekommen unser Lob auszusprechen. Ihr wart klasse, das Essen super. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Bitte weiter so! Im übrigen, unsere Fellnase war auch kein Problem.

Der Freisitz mit Blick auf die Marienkirche , schnelle & freundliche Bedienung, lecker Schwarzbier aus Bayern, beste Pfifferlingssupe mit Schinken,Bruschetta Brot sehr gut wir kommen wieder.

Waren heute zum Essen da. War wie immer sehr schön und das Essen war sehr gut, wie immer. Das Bruscetta"Brot" ist irgendwie jedesmal anders. Heute waren das drei sehr sehr kleine sehr harte Minichiabattas, manchmal ist das Brot anders und größer. Ich würde eher sogar Toastbrot bevorzugen als das von heute... Ich mag es, wenn Gerichte auch beim nächsten Mal so aussehen wie beim ersten oder xten you mal und schmecken natürlich auch. Ansonsten ist alles sehr gut und wir kommen gerne wieder... Bitte nur Bruscetta wie früher... Liebe Grüße, :)

Noch nie so schlecht gegessen. Geschmacksneutral ,da hat kein Pfeffer und Salz geholfen. Bedienung war sehr freundlich . Dönerinbiss ist in Sichtweite ,nehmt den .

Wir hatten Zander mit Pesto die 47, hat nur bitter geschmeckt und ich musste stundenlang danach aufstoßen, die Bedienung war sehr und das Ambiente angenehm.

Das Colosseo ist ein eher kleines italienisches Restaurant auf der Rostocker Holzhalbinsel. Aufgrund der negativen Berichte und früherer negativen Erfahrungen waren wir verunsichert. Das wir auf unsere Getränke 15 min warten mussten, hat dies zunächst bestätigt. Der restliche Abend verlief hingegen ohne nennenswerte Beanstandungen. Als Vorspeise wurden, ohne Bestellung und kostenlos, selbstgebackene Pizzabrötchen mit einer würzigen Creme gereicht. Die bestellte Pizza war ersichtlich frisch zubereitet und im Geschmack sehr ausgeglichen. Der Service war zuvorkommend, kommunikativ und freundlich. Die Getränke, besonders der Wein, wurde überdurchschnittlichen Anforderungen gerecht. Insgesamt ein gelungener Abend. Was einer 5* Bewertung entgegensteht war die Wartezeit für die Getränke und die Tatsache, dass eine Schlemmer Card nur Mo-Do verwendet werden kann, ohne dass dies gekennzeichnet ist.

Das Essen war wirklich extrem gut und auch die Bedienung war exzellent. Wir waren leider nur von den Black Tiger-Garnelen enttäuscht, da diese etwas klein waren.

Von uns gibt es eine klare Restaurantempfehlung fürs Colosseo. Wir hatten einen richtig leckeren Abend. Suppe, Pizzabrötchen, Pizza und Saltimbocca...

Dieses Jahr wollte uns das Corona-Virus unseren alljährlichen Feiertag vermasseln. Aber dank einer selbst abgeholten Bestellung, war der Abend gerettet....
