5-star rating for the Restaurant am Porto in Rostock ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ For our last business lunch we visited the Restaurant am Porto in Rostock and were thrilled by the flexibility and hospitality. Despite our early arrival, an hour earlier than planned, we were immediately seated. The excellent atmosphere and the culinary highlights made our business lunch a complete success. This restaurant is definitely a top recommendation for business events!

Waited longer for the bill at the end than for the food. The ambience is typical of system catering and offers no charm due to the volume. The food was cold on the outside and piping hot on the inside, it had obviously been warmed in the microwave. The sauce (both Bolognese and salmon/lobster) had a very bland taste and apparently wasn't seasoned. The prices are disproportionate to the quality and the complete lack of culinary sophistication.

The food was good and plentiful. After the great starter (goat cheese) there was pasta. If the chef had used fresh parmesan with the linguini, it would have been five stars. But that's whining at a high level. The service was top. Very friendly staff. Despite its size, the restaurant was cozy. The prices are moderate. I'd love to come back.

The ambience is very nice. The staff was friendly. However, it is probably a matter of taste whether you like spaghetti cabonara swimming in fat and with extremely fatty bacon. I didn't like it and complained about it. The answer I received was that Sinora must. Pretty arrogant. Given the prices, I would have expected at least a schnapps on the house. But here you don't even get a nightcap if you want the bill. And the bill wasn't right either, small water ordered, big one on the bill. It's a shame, it somewhat diminished our visit to Rostock. 😬

We were there for my birthday and were extremely satisfied. Wonderful service, great ambience and a cool location with a view of the Warnow. I ate Pizza Milano. This was sufficient (I'm a good eater) and tasted excellent. Since it was my birthday, there was also a small show with music and sparklers. Excellent experience

The pizza was huge but a bit too dry. The pasta dish worked. Given the prices, I would have expected more in terms of taste and preparation. While we were there, tables were moved around in such a way that we felt harassed. The place is huge, nice but unfortunately not anymore. Price/performance ratio is not appropriate.

We went there on a recommendation. Huge restaurant with very good food. Price performance also fits. There are great tables with sofa corners. Great for an evening with friends. In summer the view of the water is great.

More appearance than reality! There are much better Italian restaurants for the money. Tatar was messed up with truffle oil/paste. Pizza from the stone oven, but without any taste, the salami was a bit old, slightly Ratzinger taste, sorry, but that doesn't work at all. Dessert was ok, at least the crème brûlée. There was ready-made ice cream for this, unfortunately of rather cheap quality. And Oreo cookie crumbs all over it. The bosses were constantly counting money at a table, that's not possible! Please always check invoices! We noticed that someone had complained about this when paying. Of course we paid attention then. Ordered a large beer, got a small one, even though a large one was confirmed when ordering and typed in that way. Corrected only when pointed out. There is another Italian restaurant around the corner. Made a better impression from the outside and will try it next time I visit Rostock.

Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio isn't right at all. The pasta dishes were very bad. The consistency was like mush, the salmon was cooked to death and not seasoned at all. It's a shame, especially given the prices. The pizzas were good and also very large. Bruchetta, the worst thing we have ever eaten. If this is supposed to be upscale cuisine with upscale prices, then there is still plenty of room for improvement. The staff mostly friendly. We're still not coming back.

I received a very friendly welcome. The boss made sure that all guests were served very quickly. The atmosphere is very comfortable and the waiters respond to the guests' wishes. The waiters were friendly, but there was a lack of warm contact with the guests. The meal with the zander fillet was very nicely prepared. The side dishes were a bit small for so much fish and the whole dish tasted sober. The taste of Mediterranean vegetables and rosemary potatoes was missing. Was disappointing. Some prices were sometimes very high.

We tried this restaurant for the first time today. The portion was generous, fresh and high quality, the cucumber salad was delicious and the crème brûlee with ice cream as dessert was also very high quality. The service was friendly and very accommodating. The ambience invites you to feel comfortable and linger. The view of the city harbor was also very nice. We recommend this restaurant with a clear conscience!

We were there for the first time and were absolutely convinced. The wait staff was friendly and attentive, the food came quickly and was also very tasty. The portions were fair to their price and were sufficient. Definitely worth an evening!

We ate in the restaurant last night after spontaneously reserving a table for 4 people at lunchtime. When we asked to sit by the window, we were seated there and had a beautiful view. The staff (both when making the reservation and during the very tasty dinner) were extremely friendly and accommodating. Not too intrusive and still always available if something was missing. 5/5 stars for a great stay with a nice atmosphere. And definitely a recommendation for everyone.

Great location overlooking the harbor. Food was super tasty. The pizzas are decently sized. It's a shame that packing the rest costs an extra €2. Could actually be included in a pizza for €18.

Das Essen war einwandfrei, wenn auch die Portionen etwas größer sein dürften. Die Lage (Außenbereich), Blick aufs Wasser, ist sehr schön. Das Personal war schnell, freundlich und aufmerksam. Ich würde ein zweites Mal dort hingehen.

Restaurant uses top location on the Unterwarnow for slightly overpriced prices that do not reflect the cuisine. Ravioli from the recommendation category was out at 3:30 p.m. on a Saturday!? Internal staff discussions about the rather inattentive service near the guests were topping things off. You can do it, but you don't have to

The place is pleasant, the people who work there are super friendly, the food is good, for those who want to drink or eat alone I highly recommend it.

I've always recommended this place, but I won't do it again. On September 1st we had a sad experience visiting this establishment. We came to celebrate my husband's birthday and were faced with the fact that half the menu was out of stock, we could not choose a single main dish for ourselves and were left with only a few appetizers. There was no whiskey available either. One of the two ladies' restrooms was not working, so we had to wait in line. Inside the establishment, in the corridor and in the toilet it was very dirty, there were scraps of toilet paper everywhere. The service also spoiled the evening; the waiter was not friendly. From the very beginning, we asked whether we would be able to transfer from the summer area if I got cold, but we were refused. An hour and a half before the restaurant closed, they began to remind us that we had to make the last order; in general, all subsequent time was aimed at ensuring that we left the establishment as quickly as possible. I don’t know what has changed in the establishment, the manager, owner or staff, but I no longer want to come.

The staff was very friendly. Unfortunately we had to wait about an hour for the main course. The food was very nicely prepared but the taste was rather disappointing. The portions are very small (for pasta dishes). All in all, more upscale cuisine with more upscale prices. The view towards the harbor is particularly positive.

The times of courtesy and politeness are over here too. The places directly on the water are reserved at a flat rate and can only be occupied upon express request. The service is impersonal and is already busy with the neighboring table when ordering. The food (pizza) in my case was average, but sufficient. “Everything used to be better” definitely applies here.

The pizza was super good. The pasta was good but the carbonara came a little cold. There was a children's menu but the children's portion was basically the same size as the adult menu and tasted great. The food was served by the chef who spoke Italian. Cool! It really FELT like the food was real Italian! The restaurant especially on the inside, and had a nice view of the water. Highly recommend!

After forgetting to order after an hour we finally got the food, everything was fine including 2 free drinks.

The service was very quick, attentive and friendly. My food, however, was subpar. But first things first... A nice place with a view of the city harbor and all the sailing boats. The sun was shining. Best conditions. I was then given a small basket of white bread, a bottle of industrially produced olive oil and a battered plastic bottle of "balsamic vinegar". I wasn't quite sure what to do with it. So I asked. I was supposed to take the plate that had the cutlery on it and pour oil on it. Then I could put the bread in it. Well... I've experienced it differently. Usually some herbs or garlic butter or olives are served with it. It gave the impression that I was in a snack bar. There are several pasta dishes on the menu, divided into two sections. One of them was "fresh" pasta. I assume that the pasta is freshly made in-house... at an Italian restaurant. I then asked again whether they were homemade. That threw the service a bit off guard. The answer is: yes, we'll do it ourselves... finish it. So clearly, they weren't home-made, just home-cooked. I then ordered Tortelloni al Tartufo, truffle filling/butter-sage sauce for €15.90. I definitely didn't taste the truffles, the pasta was way too thick and the sauce was... a nightmare. It was just a mess of flour, far too thick and no trace of sage, no taste. There were small black dots in this flour sauce, possibly it was dried sage, but I couldn't taste it. It was just gross. In an Italian restaurant in the summer, I naturally expect fresh sage and if the menu says "butter-sage sauce", then I also expect butter with sage, not this flour mush. To make matters worse, the bill then showed €19.00 instead of €15.90. It seems to me that the chef and the owner have long since lost interest in cooking, a passion, and good food. Too bad I definitely won't eat there again.

Great location but very bad food. We were a group of 6 people. After ordering, 5 slices of bread arrived with a bottle of olive oil. Okay, not that bad. The Wienerschnitzel was dry and tough. The duck liver was completely overcooked, the salmon was served with frozen spinach and was also very dry. I had a salad M&M that was drowned in a slimy, weird tasting dressing. All the food was returned only half or almost untouched. We kindly pointed this out to the waiter but were only offered an espresso as compensation. Together we paid almost €230 and went home hungry. This was holiday rip-off at a high level.

Food is good, although the ice cream is average at best. The service is rather overwhelmed. Either we were forgotten or we were not even noticed. Emergency solution in our case was to hold the waiter. The ambience is very nice, from the terrace there is a nice view of the Rostock city center.

Food was very good in terms of quality. Unfortunately the price and quantity weren't right at all. The plate doesn't have to overflow. But you should be able to get enough. Lt. My wife would have liked to have repaired one or two places in the women's toilet. Complaining at a high level? Anyone who asks for top prices simply has to offer more than the others. Just the location on the water isn't enough. We won't be coming back.

I highly recommend visiting and tasting the dishes in this restaurant. The dishes are of a really high standard and made with passion. My wife and I ate chanterelle soup and tomato cream, they were delicious. For the second one, we took Diablo salami and 4 cheese pizza, but my wife wasn't entirely sure about Blue cheese, but it turned out to be delicious.

We went here for ice cream. The ambience surprised us. We were satisfied with the service.

We were eating there, service was not for the price, we ordered bread, it didn't come The food doesn't even compare to Italian food. I would recommend choosing a different cuisine. Pizza with beef, meat not baked not fried, raw meat on pizza no go. It was OK that the waiter immediately understood and accepted the complaint, so thank you so I didn't have to take any other steps.

A very generous pizzeria, also in price. Bruschetta was very tasty, the other dishes were good - in terms of quality and quantity, but not more than that, where I could justify the considerable price. The toilets were ultimately a bit disappointing, for example the ladies had single-ply toilet paper. At these prices I lacked a certain appreciation for the guests there. Service and service was friendly and accommodating. Recommended.

I usually go to a restaurant to eat, not to get a job offer as a mannequin "because I look really sexy and hot" from the older employee. That is neither a compliment nor does any woman in the world want to be reduced to her looks by disgusting strange men.

One star is still too many. Pizza overpriced €52 for 3 pizzas outside the house. I've eaten much better frozen pizza.

The restaurant is in a beautiful location, especially in the summer evenings. You can sit on the terrace and look at the water and watch the sun go down. But unfortunately the food and service weren't that perfect. I had black tagliatelle with seafood for 19 euros. I had eaten it here once before about 3 months ago. I was very happy there, but yesterday it was really bad. The noodles were hard and it wasn't real seafood. Instead I found cheap surimi on the plate that fell apart. At first I didn't even know what it was. It could also have been pieces of tagliatelle that accidentally ended up in the food. In general I didn't have the feeling that it was freshly prepared. The staff, on the other hand, was very nice, even if the glasses at our table were often empty for a long time and we had the feeling that we had been forgotten. Nevertheless, the waiters were all nice. I left this restaurant disappointed because the price-performance ratio was absolutely NOT right.

As enthusiastic connoisseurs and lovers of fine cuisine, we came especially from Lübeck to visit the Alporto. From everything we had heard, our expectations were high and I am pleased to say that they were not only met but far exceeded. Our visit to Alporto was a completely successful experience. The combination of excellent food, excellent service and beautiful ambience made our evening unforgettable. It was definitely worth traveling all the way from Lübeck and we are already looking forward to our next visit. For anyone looking for a special culinary experience, Alporto is highly recommended. 5 out of 5 stars – a true pearl of gastronomy!

Celebrated my birthday there. It was very nice and worth visiting.

Waren letzte Woche da. Freundliches Personal. Aber vom Essen enttäuscht. Ich hatte die Pasta Carbonara. Geschmacklich echt gut aber leider nur ein halber Teller voll. Als ich die Portion am Nachbartisch gesehen habe dachte ich noch das schaff ich gar nicht. Meine war leider nur die Hälfte. Aber ok. Nur was ich dann bei meiner besseren Hälfte gesehen habe war wirklich eine Frechheit. Sie hatte die schwarze Pasta mit Meeresfrüchten. Diese bestanden aus einzelne kleine Muscheln, 2 ganz kleine Garnelen und aus ganz viel Surimi! Das ist wirklich ein absolutes No Go. Portion bei 20 Euro. Da kann man schon mehr verlangen als billige Fischabfälle. Zum Glück gab es etwas Brot dazu. Denn mehr wollte ich da wirklich nicht bestellen. Sehr schade. Weiß nicht ob es daran lag das wir keine Vorspeise bestellt haben oder ob Gäste da grundsätzlich unterschiedlich behandelt werden.

We pre-ordered for the children, which worked out well and we adults were full right away. We had to wait a very long time for service because it was very busy. But everyone was friendly. The pizza was super tasty! Nice view from the terrace at sunset. Gladly again!!! 😊

The ALPORTO Restaurant in Rostock is a real insider tip! The location right on the harbor is beautiful and the parking options are great. Italian food is a true taste experience – simply heavenly! The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. Highly Recommended!

The food was really tasty and the location is great too. However, the staff was totally unmotivated and unfriendly, you had to constantly call for the staff when you finally wanted to order and then there was this unfriendliness.

Food was great. Difficult to get parking spaces. Not a great view due to the construction site next door.

Wir waren kurz vor 18.00 Uhr da. Nach 12 Minuten Missachtung durch 3 um uns herumschwirrenden Kellnern, entschlossen wir uns zu gehen und wo anders zu essen. Auf der Terasse war nur die erste Reihe besetzt. Von einer personellen Überlastung konnte man zu dieser Zeit wahrlich nicht reden.

Man hat uns diesen Italiener empfohlen. Leider hat er uns nicht zugesagt. Das Essen kam und wir hatten nicht mal Besteck . Während des Abends hatten wir gefühlt 10 verschiedene Kellner , falls wir mal etwas zu trinken nachbestellen wollten . Eine nette Bewirtung war bei diesem Wechsel nicht gegeben Gefragt wurden wir nicht . Auch nicht , ob das Essen schmeckt, was teilweise nämlich nicht der Fall war . Ich habe noch nie so nüchterne Nudeln (mit Filet spitzen) gegessen. Man hatte aber auch keine Chance dies zu bemängeln . Bei einer Rechnung von 190€ für 4 Personen hätte ich zumindest die Frage nach einem Getränk aufs Hause erwartet . Da es in Rostock sehr viele italienische Restaurants gibt , würde ich andere empfehlen

Unfortunately, more appearance than reality. We were there for the first time with 8 people and had to swallow when we saw the prices. Unfortunately the service didn't work at all for us. First 3 people simply didn't get anything, then the order was taken incorrectly and one person only got their food when everyone else was already finished. Instead of the beer we ordered, there was shandy and all in all it seemed very uncoordinated. The pizza was OK but you've had better elsewhere. Another visit will not be necessary.
