Everything was perfect. Although the restaurant was busy, we were able to have a very pleasant conversation. We also appreciated the absence of distracting background music. Our food, from the appetizer to the dessert, was consistently excellent. Highly recommended. We will definitely be back.

Alporto has a very pleasant, stylish atmosphere, and the interior is beautifully designed. You immediately feel at ease. The food is excellent – ​​I would particularly like to highlight the salad with shrimp, beef strips, and avocado. For me, it's the best salad. Fresh, perfectly balanced, and simply outstanding in taste. A thoroughly enjoyable experience.

We spontaneously went to the restaurant with two adults and two children. After a short wait, the waiter told us he didn't have a good table for us. We followed him and were able to choose between three tables. The tables were located in front of the kitchen entrance/exit. This didn't bother us. Later, the door was closed and a vase placed in front of it. The staff then used a different door. The atmosphere was really lovely and cozy. The waiter was friendly, and we were served quickly. We asked for a children's salami pizza. It was brought, but unfortunately without salami. When we pointed this out, the friendly server reacted promptly and brought the pizza with salami. The adult pizza was very large and delicious, as were the other dishes we ordered. There is a changing area and a toilet seat for children. We paid approximately €106 for the four of us.

From start to finish, everything was perfect: the food, the service, and the atmosphere – everything was beyond outstanding. A huge thank you to Eddy, Leonie, Beci, and Claudio – you were incredibly friendly, attentive, and accommodating. It didn't feel like we were in a restaurant, but rather like we were with friends – warmly welcomed and thoroughly pampered. This intimate atmosphere made the evening special. Eddy's culinary performance was absolutely top-notch – each course a small work of art, full of flavor, attention to detail, and perfectly prepared. An unforgettable evening that we will cherish forever – we will definitely be back!

Al Porto isn't just impressive because of its location right on the harbor. There are many reasons why it has (and has become) my favorite restaurant in Rostock. From the consistently attentive, well-trained service staff, who leave nothing to be desired, to the fantastic Italian cuisine (classics like pizza and pasta are absolute musts; nothing has ever been out of place), to the stylish ambiance, in which I've spent many hours of my life. The seasonal menu is also consistently impressive and, in addition to its reliability, demonstrates the creativity of the kitchen, which, incidentally, is openly visible. The dishes are brought promptly, and my eye for detail is always a part of the experience. The bread, served with oil, is homemade and always fresh. I've already enjoyed many appetizers, main courses, and desserts and have always been delighted, from the look to the last (takeaway) bite. The highly dedicated owner is not only interested in the daily goings-on, he also knows his guests and, together with his partner, warmly welcomes them, making you feel at home immediately. They take the time to engage with their guests in a pleasant, timely conversation, even when the last table in the restaurant is occupied. Both contribute their strengths brilliantly; for example, the restrooms were recently renovated to the highest standards – very stylish and modern – with the great influence of the tasteful owner. The processes are always maintained, even with the highest number of guests. It's no wonder that you also encounter well-known faces from the city there, whether from politics or sports. Due to its popularity, reservations by phone or via the official Instagram page are recommended. Whether enjoying the spring sunshine or a balmy sunset on the terrace overlooking the Warnow River, or at one of the beautiful tables in the restaurant: an absolute place to be!

I've experienced the most romantic moments at this spot! The people there are always friendly and serve fabulous food. My only criticism is that it can be quite drafty, even further along, in strong winds.

Wow, this is a very impressive restaurant where it was a lot of fun to get a spontaneous table for two. The dinner that followed was very tasty and we also marveled at the neighboring tables because everything looked fantastically prepared. A very nice restaurant right on the Warnow River, but with moderate prices. The decor is modern (almost new) and spotlessly clean; as every restaurant should be. The food tastes good and the portions are generous; we had pizza, linguini, and salads. The only downside is the lack of air conditioning in midsummer. However, you can also eat outside in front of the restaurant, right on the promenade.

The food was delicious! The ambiance right on the harbor was also very nice. Why did the service get one star? Three of us had beer poured over us. It can happen. We reacted calmly because we had a change of clothes in the car. My wife's shoes and her handbag were still ruined though. I have to say, I was expecting an offer straight away: a drink or starter on the house. I spent the whole meal thinking about that and couldn't enjoy it. At the end, they offered us dessert on the house. After we'd had a starter and main course, so we were full. When we declined, there was no counter offer. I'm not used to that, and I consider it an absolute no-go in the industry.

On the positive side, the service was very friendly. The ambiance on the terrace was pleasant, but the wheelchair access was blocked. The food, a calzone and a funghi pizza, would have been fantastic if they had been hot. Both weren't even lukewarm. It's a shame, because it didn't match the high price. We won't be back.

I was here yesterday with my familiy, for a quick lunch before going home to Denmark. It's a nice restaurant, with sweet and friendly service, and with an awesome view 😎 Food came very fast, which was perfect for a family with three hungry kids 😅👍 Great pizza! Soft and crunchy, with great flavour! Pasta for my wife was also very good! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 The kids could draw on their menu cards - they got colour pencils brought to their table. Great plus for us as a family 👍😎 We will come back next time we're en Rostock for sure! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

A beautiful terrace for watching the sunset. Delicious food, some of the best pizzas we've ever had. The bathroom was super clean and spacious. The Oreo cake was incredible. A 10/10!

Very quiet location on the harbor with plenty of outdoor and indoor seating. However, reservations are recommended. In addition to classic pizza and pasta, there are also select fish and meat specialties. The seating is very comfortable and you can enjoy your dinner. Everything is a bit on the expensive side.

We were very satisfied with the quality of the food and drinks, as well as the friendliness of the staff. The view of the water was also very nice. It was just a shame that we had requested a more beautifully decorated table when we made our reservation, as we had a special occasion, but this didn't happen. It was a completely normal, vacant table, with no tablecloth or anything. I find that unfortunate, as we had specifically requested it that way. Although the restaurant was very full, we were able to have good conversations; it wasn't too hectic or loud. The wait for the food was also reasonable. We had a lovely evening here.

We've been here a few times because we liked the location by the harbor and the food, and the service has been good so far. This time, as soon as we sat down, we noticed that the atmosphere was loud and hectic, and the waiters seemed stressed, even though it was still 70 minutes until closing. Plenty of time to grab a bite to eat, especially since it wasn't busy. When the drinks (poorly mixed) arrived, the waitress immediately ran to the next table, leaving no chance to order food in a timely manner. A colleague then took over. The food: mediocre, but not OK for the price (e.g., salmon + cauliflower puree = €33). What followed was something we've never experienced before, and we don't want to experience again: Five teenagers, who were already conspicuous for their loud and inappropriate behavior, harassed us and even threatened us. Two stood up and approached us threateningly, very obviously no longer sober, making it questionable whether alcohol was the only factor. The service staff immediately tried to mediate, but instead of evicting the five, we quickly left the restaurant to be on the safe side. We definitely would have preferred a different attitude from al Porto here. Since a second, larger table was also occupied by similar people, this seems to be the current clientele, which we will avoid in the future. Too bad, one really good restaurant less for us in Rostock.

Good but somewhat more expensive Italian food in the city harbor. The new owners have renovated the restaurant and updated the outdoor area. We didn't go inside. But a tip anyway: Please remove the Hawaiian pizza from the menu. It has nothing to do with Italy, and nobody needs it. 😉

We found the place very nice, and we were served promptly. The linguini carbonara and the pizza were rather average for our taste; the pasta dish tasted of burnt bacon and wasn't worth the price. We didn't complain, though. 🤗

The place thrives on its location, not on its good food. The zander was dry and frozen, and the tortelloni was oversalted (and I like salty). The food is quite expensive, and there's not much on the plate (a total of four tortelloni). It's nice, but no one needs to go there just for the great food.

Leider waren wir vom Essen sehr enttäuscht. Der Ceasar Salad bestand aus einer Menge Römersalat, etwas Hühnchen und einer Riesenmenge Dressing, welches geschmacklos war. Der Salat badete förmlich in dem Dressing. Mein Mann hatte Zander bestellt. Dieser war völlig geschmacklos und wässrig. Wir werden andere Italiener in Rostock vorziehen
