Yesterday, three of us spontaneously and by chance visited the Belvedere. We enjoyed the food. We found the service to be above average. Very friendly and always attentive. The restaurant was busy (on a Monday), which certainly speaks volumes.

We visited the Belvedere for the first time based on a recommendation. We had a reservation and received a friendly welcome. Since the weather was nice, we were able to sit outside. Summary: Beautiful restaurant, stylish inside, cozy outside. Food: Very tasty, appetizer plate delicious, Scaloppine al Gorgonzola perfect, grilled salmon in berry sauce with currants exceptional. Service: Very attentive and super friendly. We'll definitely be back; the trip from Unna was worth it.

I had reserved a table for five people for May 31, 2025, about four weeks in advance and clearly stated that I wanted to celebrate my 87th birthday. We were seated at a table behind a partition, roughly opposite the bar, and were horrified to discover that behind us a large table had been set for about 15 people. The entire time we were there, we were barely able to have a conversation due to the noise of this group. There were also chain smokers there who constantly had to squeeze past our table to get outside. Regarding the food, due to the length of this otherwise due review, I would only like to say that the antipasti platter for three people with cannelloni, lots of arugula, and few vegetables took some getting used to. The involtini were overstuffed; we've had better served them many times. All in all, I would have preferred more sensitivity in the reservation process, as it was also clear that there would be older people present. Finally, the very good zabaglione was a positive. But that didn't make up for the disappointment over the other things mentioned. What a shame.

The food was too salty. The tortellini looked like Swabian Maultaschen. The gnocci were too salty. The sardines and sardines were also too salty, as was the salad. When we pointed this out, we were told that was normal. Criticism was not accepted. Unfortunately, I do not recommend it. It is best not to ask if you enjoyed the meal if you are replying and cannot accept criticism.

I was there several times before it moved to the opposite side of the street. It has lost a bit of its flair as it has now increased the number of seats. The pizza this time was ok. The staff were friendly and attentive.

Food was very good. Waiter was friendly. What really annoyed me was that we walked into an empty restaurant at 5pm with two people and had to wait at the door for what felt like 5 minutes until the good gentleman at reception looked through his book to see if there was a table available. When we left the restaurant after a good hour, only a quarter of the seats were occupied.

Wir sind seit gut 2 Jahren Stammgäste im Belvedere. Hier handelt es sich noch um einen echten italienischen Familienbetrieb der erstklassige Speisen anbietet. Von Fisch bis Fleisch, Pasta und Pizzas und erstklassische Nachtische. Immer wieder hervorragende Tagesangebote ausserhalb der Karte runden das Ganze ab. Salvatore und das gesamte Team sind äusserst aufmerksam und erfüllen einem fast alle kulinarischen Wünsche.

Every drink order only came after multiple requests, and it was the same with the food, which was very unpleasant. Good Italian cuisine at reasonable prices in a friendly, family atmosphere. New dishes on the daily menu every now and then ensure that regular guests never get bored. We're always happy to come back to you!

The food there was really good until recently. Now they have moved to a larger location and the kitchen seems overwhelmed by the increased workload. The pizzas we ordered were very dark on the edges, some black. They were topped in the order of tomato sauce, toppings and then plenty of cheese on top so that the toppings were no longer recognizable. The Frutti di Mare pizza we chose was topped exclusively with mussels, including 4 whole mussel shells. Who needs something like that on pizza? My companion that evening described the surface as indefinable mud. Neither salami nor ham were visible under the cheese on his pizza. Given the high prices for a not very large pizza, there is still a lot of room for improvement. The waiters were also overwhelmed because they had to ask what you had eaten and drank when you asked for the bill. Regarding the ambience, I would like to say that I would have expected the dim lighting in the restaurant to be more like a bar in the red light district. The table arrangement was far too close together, which made things even more uncomfortable. For a normal and a small pizza, as well as 5 beers, 41 euros were charged. Conclusion: Most of the pizzas I got from delivery services where the owners are not Italian were larger, better prepared and tastier. A total failure for me and my companion.

For everyone who likes to stand on the green tree or in the Meisterhaus in Unna, forget it and go eat at the Belvedere! You won't get friendlier service paired with excellent food and a relatively excellent price in the restaurants mentioned! And we have been regular guests in both restaurants for 30 years, several times a week!

Best Italian in town. Veal medallions grilled in gorgonzola or sea bream are a dream. The tortelloni with ricotta chestnut filling and salcica or pumpkin risotto with figs and burata very original. Be sure to pay attention to the day ticket. Outdoor terrace made larger. 👍

Am Samstag waren mein Mann und ich wieder einmal bei Belvedere in Dortmund-Brackel zu Gast: Zu Gast sein, darf man hier wörtlich nehmen, denn man wird herzlich vom Chef persönlich begrüßt und fühlt sich wirklich willkommen. Eigentlich wollte ich Pizza bestellen, da ich diese hier sehr gut in Erinnerung habe, aber nach studieren der Speisekarte habe ich mich für Lammfilets mit frischen Champigons in Rotweinsauce entschieden und mein Mann hat die Pizza Salami bestellt. Zunächst wurden uns als Gruß aus der Küche Pizzabrötchen und ein leckerer Frischkäseaufstrich serviert. Obwohl das Restaurant sehr gut besucht war, mussten wir nicht lange auf die Hauptgänge warten. Meine Entscheidung war richtig: Die Lammfilets mit der Rotweinreduktion schmeckten köstlich und Gemüse und gebratene Kartoffeln passten sehr gut als Beilage dazu; schön gewürzt war das Gericht mit Rosmarin. Sehr lecker. Dirk war mit seiner Salami-Pizza auch sehr zufrieden. Auch wurde von Salvatore nachgefragt, ob uns das Essen schmecken würde, sehr aufmerksam. Belvedere ist eine gute Wahl, wenn man schmackhaft italienisch essen möchte. Zusätzlich zu den Gerichten auf der Speisekarte werden tagesaktuelle Gerichte auf einer Tafel an der Wand angeboten. Die Auswahl ist wirklich sehr gut und vom Nachbartisch, an dem eine größere Gruppe Platz genommen hatte, hörten wir auch nur Lob in Bezug auf die Gerichte.

We usually always order from Belvedere, but unfortunately this time I was disappointed. I was only able to eat half of the Margharita pizza I picked up because it was stuck to the bottom of the box because it was so heavily banned. It's a shame because I was really looking forward to the pizza...

My husband and I ate here three times during our stay in the area. The staff were friendly, spoke English. We tried several different items and the food was always excellent.

I would like to raise a topic here regarding card payments. It's a disgrace that people only stick to the Eurocard if they want to pay by card. This card system will be switched off by all banks and only customers who have an old card can use it until it expires Pay with this. The new debit Visa card for the Eurocard has been replaced, it is now the new means of payment. But unfortunately it is probably too complicated or too expensive to change the card reader. It would be time for Belvedere to say goodbye to this old payment method. Best regards Manfred Hoffmann

Eating out can be more than just filling your stomach. Just like in the Belvedere in Do Brackel: small Italian restaurant, very nicely decorated. The music and the really great, friendly, authentic service complement the delicious food. 5/5

We went there for the first time the day before yesterday. From a warm welcome, to an absolutely perfect performance from the kitchen and staff, to a perfect evening that we really enjoyed!... the food was REALLY ON POINT/PERFECT and served beautifully prepared. Preheated plates are great little things there that we really noticed. The communication between staff/kitchen and guest was great. The prices are absolutely great. We have already recommended diligently and would be happy to come back. GOOD JOB !! We had bruschetta, carved steak, and a pizza.

Very, very tasty! We ordered there for the first time yesterday (for pickup). We had Vitello Tonato, a salad and a pizza each and without exception all the dishes tasted delicious. Thanks for that! We will definitely order here again.

Today we ordered lasagna and tagliatelle and salmon to take away. As a main course, the portions were too small and tasteless. It's a shame, it could certainly be better.

Today I had dinner at Ristorante Belvedere with my 11-year-old godchild (pescatarian) without making a reservation in advance. We spontaneously chose the restaurant because of the fish dishes online. We sat in the very cozy and beautifully lit winter garden. With the two heaters it was nice and warm with the door closed and in case that wasn't enough, there was a blanket at every seat. The food was fresh and the portions were generous and beautifully presented. My godchild left just enough room in his stomach for the delicious wild berry tiramisu. I delivered a happy and full child to his parents and the child is already looking forward to eating the rest of his main course tomorrow. I also really enjoyed the evening and the food and we are both looking forward to our next visit. Then we definitely want to try the panna cotta, which must be so good that it was already sold out today.

Das Essen war mega lecker, das Personal sehr nett, herzlich und kompetent. Der Hauptgang hat allerdings nach der Vorspeise sehr lange auf sich warten lassen. Lag aber wahrscheinlich daran, dass wir mit elf Personen fast den ganzen Laden belegt hatten. Aber sehr gemütlich, für einen kleinen Kreis sicher perfekt.

Essen gut. Preis/Leistung sehr gut! Allerdings Räumlichkeiten recht klein. Unterhaltung bei vollem Haus (Freitag) kaum möglich. Service sehr gut.

Ein fantastisches Ristorante. Man kommt sehr gerne zum Essen hierher. Das Lokal sieht von außen vielleicht nicht einladend aus, aber was man dort als Gast bekommt, ist sehr positiv. Es ist dort sehr sauber und gemütlich eingerichtet. Das Essen schmeckt himmlisch - es ist sehr lecker und frisch. Die Bestellungen werden zeitnah serviert. Das Personal ist sehr nett, hilfsbereit und bemüht sich, jeden Gast zufriedenzustellen. Großes Kompliment! Man kann das Ristorante sowohl mit dem Nahverkehr als auch mit dem Auto gut erreichen. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist angemessen.

Nettes kleines Lokal u hübscher Außenanlage ...Aber 1 3/4 std aufs Essen zu warten ist nicht akzeptabel und dann noch mit der Pizza kämpfen müssen weil der Teig trocken hart war .. .Nein Danke !

Wir waren heute hier essen spontan. Besser ist es einen Tisch zu reservieren, da dieses Restaurant sehr beliebt ist wie wir festgestellt haben. Trotzdem hat der sehr freundliche Kellner für uns noch ein Plätzchen fertig gemacht. Das Essen war hervorragend. Pizza genauso wie Garnelen-Linguini Gericht schmeckten richtig klasse. Der Nachtisch(Pannacotta und Schokosuflet) hat uns dann auch sehr überzeugt und wir wollten gerne noch mehr essen davon. Der Service ist höflich, freundlich, hilfsbereit und nicht aufdringlich. Dies ist uns immer sehr wichtig. Das haben sie zu 100% erfüllt. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. Liebe Grüße, Sabrina & Patrick

wir haben eine Stunde auf das Essen warten müssen. Auf einen Hinweis, das es schon sehr lange dauert, wurde gesagt, das machen wir absichtlich, damit der Gast mehr trinkt, war scherzhaft gemeint. Bei der 2. Nachfrage kam die Aussage, das es gleich losgeht, da dauerte es noch eine 1/4 Stunde bis das Essen kam. Es kam auch keine Entschuldigung. Ich hätte zumindest die Nachfrage nach einem Absacker oder einen Espresso als Entschuldigung erwartet. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Ich hätte auch gern 5 Sterne vergeben, aber 1 ⭐️ musste abziehen, wegen dem Service.
