Great little restaurant! Friendly and cheerful service. They could do without the salt on the plate under the pizza, though 😉

We've been regulars at the trattoria for years. We were thrilled from the start. You receive a warm welcome, and the food is always fantastic. This makes it a problem for me, as I can never decide what to eat because everything tastes so good. Be it the pasta dishes, the fish dishes, or the dishes from the changing weekly menu. Not to mention the pizzas. Everything is always fresh and delicious. The owner family and the entire team are like family to us. Warm, open, and always focused on the well-being of their guests. This week, I celebrated my milestone birthday with a very large group, and from the planning to the execution, everything was absolutely perfect! We were all thrilled with the evening and still are. Once again, my sincere thanks to you. The trattoria is simply a feel-good place for us. Keep up the good work!

We've spent so many relaxing and enjoyable evenings here, so I can only highly recommend La Trattoria. The atmosphere is casual and cozy, and the friendly family owners make you feel welcome and at home from the very first moment. The portions are generous, the prices fair, and the service is attentive and warm without being pretentious. In addition to the extensive standard menu, there's a changing daily special that never fails to delight us with seasonal and creative dishes. Whether homemade pasta or fresh fish, everything is authentic, and you can feel the Sicilian chef's love for his homeland. In the summer, we've spent many evenings outside under the vine-leaf-covered pergola. Whether it's just a quick pizza during the week or long, cozy evenings with friends on the weekend. In the summer, La Trattoria is definitely our second living room. In the colder months, it's simply cozy inside. The walls are a charming mix of a large mural of Venice, images of Italian film legends, and a touch of Ruhrpott charm. Even for a large birthday party, everything worked perfectly, allowing us as hosts to simply enjoy the evening. The service was attentive, relaxed, and superbly organized. All of the guests were thrilled—with the food as well as the casual atmosphere. It's no wonder, then, that La Trattoria has long been a neighborhood institution for us and many of our neighbors. If you like authentic, welcoming, and unpretentious food, this is the place for you.

It was Sunday. A Herber Grönemeyer concert, the city was bustling, the weather was perfect. We had snagged one of the last seats. And we were so lucky. Because we were visiting from out of town, and we were there for the first time, and we had fresh tagliatelle with chanterelle mushrooms... it was delicious! The tiramisu was a poem: strong mascarpone, a little amaretto, and not too sweet... very, very tasty! The staff was friendly and on the ball. We loved it!

A very nice restaurant with various seating options and very friendly staff. The homemade pizza rolls with a unique mascarpone dip as a starter were a real treat. The equally homemade tagliatelle pasta with fresh scampi, vegetables in a tomato cream sauce, and a freshly prepared salad was a sensational combination. We'd gladly return!

We haven't been there in a long time. What can I say? It's a shame, but it's worth it in every way. We'll be back more often in the future (smile).

Pleasantly surprised! The pizzeria had the charm of a pizzeria from 30 years ago (and the trattoria has probably been around much longer). Everything seems a bit dated, but the service and friendliness were outstanding. The bruschetta and pizza rolls for starters were fantastic. 5 out of 5. For main courses, we had a pizza with shrimp and baked pasta in a cream sauce. Both were very tasty, but way too salty. Whether the chef was in love or trying to boost drink sales, I don't know. Aside from the salt, though, it was cooked to perfection.

It wasn't very nice there, there were several people there and we had to wait a long time to order our food and then afterwards too. We had booked a table for 6:30 p.m. and the food arrived at 8:30 p.m. My colleague was simply forgotten. I had a broken plate, the unique thing that tasted good was bruscheta, the salad had no basil and no oil on it. I also had the veal with tuna cream, the veal was from a packet from Rewe or another shop. So not recommended and too overpriced. Save your money and it won't taste good either.

Good selection, prices OK, service OK, food OK but nothing more, could be improved, all in all we wouldn't go again.

We were at La Trattoria with about 60 people. We were greeted very warmly and shown which tables to sit at. Despite the packed place around us, we were served promptly and friendly. The food was delicious and served table by table. All in all, from the food to the service, it was a successful and enjoyable evening. I hope we'll be back next year...I'd be delighted.

Für eine Geburtstagsfeier haben wir einen Tisch für 10 Personen reserviert. Das Lokal öffnet an Samstagen um 17.00 Uhr und wir möchten frühzeitig erscheinen, was uns bereits stutzig erscheinen ließ. Also reserviert und pünktlich erschienen, aufgrund der Uhrzeit wurde mit Café / Cappuccino begonnen, dann folgte die Bestellung des Abendessen. Wir kennen die Lokalität seit einigen Jahren und haben diese unregelmäßig, jedoch 2 - 3x im Jahr aufgesucht. Die Speisen sind von durchschnittlich Qualität, aber dem Preis angemessen. Nun sitzen wir beisammen und erhalten gegen 17.45 Uhr unsere Bestellung. Gegen 18.30 Uhr durfte es dann auch noch ein Nachtisch sein. Bereits hier spürte man eine gewisse Unruhe der Kellner, welches sich gegen 18.50 Uhr bestätigte, denn wir wurden angehalten, den Tisch zu räumen, aufgrund bereits wartender Gäste....! Ein zeitliches Limit und dann an einem Geburtstag? Ohne einen Hinweis bei der Tischreservierung drei Wochen (!!!) im Voraus! Sorry, aber das war der letzte Besuch in der La Trattoria ! Wir haben dann zügig per EC (ohne Trinkgeld) bezahlt und haben uns für einen Absacker etwas seriöses gesucht, im Kreuzviertel gibt es glücklicherweise genügend Alternativen.

Food is quite okay, strangely enough the pizza base was very salty in places for both of us. What was strange was a waiter who said that they don't offer card payment, "only cash", and confirmed this again when asked. However, there is a typical card provider sticker on the door and all the other waiters immediately hand over the card reader. So don't let yourself be put off ;)

once again, warm service, all the dishes are rich, fresh and delicious. The open view into the kitchen confirms the taste, the freshness of the food and the cleanliness. Cozy winter garden if required. I always like to come back!!!

Unfortunately we were very disappointed. Not a particularly dedicated service, really bad burnt pizza, the starter plate for over €17 was also rather below average. We didn't have particularly high expectations, but we were still disappointed...

We had reserved a table online for Friday, November 1, 24 at 5 p.m. and were there on time. Luckily parking wasn't a problem 😅! Service was very friendly, pizzas came quickly, were very tasty, made us feel comfortable! ... I'd love to come back 👍🏼

Went there with friends and were a bit left out when it came to the food. We had to wait about 1 hour for it and no waiter came by to check on it during that time. After we asked, it finally came. I ordered gnocci with mozzarella and I have to say, the gnocci were from Lidl and I looked for the mozzarella in vain. There was only 1 strip of mozzarella on it. Well, the waiter only said that whoever comes first gets to eat last. You just can't bring something like that. 🙄 When we wanted to pay, I thought maybe they would come to meet you or something because we had to wait a long time. In vain, they even waited as if they were expecting a tip. 😂 Gnocci with mozzarella for 11.90€ which would actually only be worth 4€ in terms of the portion is really blatantly outrageous. I wouldn't want to go there again

Unfortunately we had to wait an hour for our food. Salad was overpriced for what it is and yogurt dressing tasted sour (hopefully because it wasn't expired) Pizza was very salty.

Sorry for this bad review, but it is really unbelievable that we had to order three times for one dish to finally came after almost two hours of waiting. The 1st waiter took our order of 3 dishes, then after 15-20 minutes, he came back and asked what we ordered, he flipped over his block notes to finally asked us again for what we wanted to eat. After another 30-40 minutes of waiting, two of three dishes came. We waited another 10 minutes before claiming for the 3rd one. One of the waiters said they didn't have it in the system, like we never ordered. He asked if we still wanted it we have to wait 15-20 minutes, we replied if it's 15-20 minutes, we can wait. Then another 15 minutes passes by, nothing came. This time the 3rd waiter said sorry, there was a miscommunication. So if we can wait another 3-5 minutes, the chef will cook for us. Yes, we replied...which it finally came after two hours...hence, this bad review

If you want to eat Italian food and experience the culinary delights of Italy, then you have come to the right place.

The food was super tasty. First there were very tasty pizza rolls and afterwards a grappa or espresso from the house. Service is nice and attentive. We would be happy to recommend it.

Nach einem Event in der Westfalenhalle sind wir hier eingekehrt. Fußläufig vom Parkplatz gut erreichbar. Pizza und Vitelo Tonata haben wir bestellt. Die Kellner waren freundlich und bemüht. Das Essen kam nicht zu früh und nicht zu spät und war sehr lecker. Das Restaurant ist zu empfehlen da man zudem auch draußen sitzen kann. Preis/ Leistung ist absolut gut. Fazit: Absolut zu empfehlen!!

A small Italian restaurant with very good pasta and pizza dishes.

The four of us were there for the first time today and won't be coming back. The store was full to capacity. A large group outside, around 20/25 people, inside a large group, around 20 people and all the other tables were also full. One of the large group arrived 30 minutes later than us, but had their food sooner. Far too few staff for so many people, it was super hectic, not a really nice atmosphere. Unfortunately our main courses didn't come at the same time and after an hour of waiting. The noodles were overcooked and had no bite and the sauce had little taste, which everyone can make better at home. The pizzas went well and could have stayed in the oven for a minute longer.

We are eating there today on the occasion of my birthday. And we were positively surprised, nice waiters could sit outside on the terrace (protected from the wind, yes we are smokers 😎) Order was taken quickly. Food came quickly and was really tasty. Changing the order was no problem Salad beautifully prepared with a very tasty balsamic dressing, two pasta dishes, one spaghetti carbonara, one penne gorgonzola, large portions and well seasoned. For dessert, cassata, coffee Finally there was a grappa from the house. We had a very nice evening and would love to come back 👍

Verbrannte harte pizzabrötchen Unfreundliche & schlechte Bedienung Fehlinformation durch das Personal Ratten unter der aussenterasse Nie wieder

Abends auf Geschäftsreise noch in der näheren Umgebung eine Restaurant gesucht und mittels Tripadviser gefunden, traf ich dort auf ein sehr unkompliziertes, freundliches Team. Mein Nudelgericht hat vorzüglich geschmeckt und so werde ich, sollte es sich ergeben, gerne wiederkommen.

Was there with a few friends for Christmas I've never had a pizza that was so oversalted, unfortunately it wasn't just my food that was oversalted, and the only excuse was that the chef wasn't there today The store was only half full and we got the smallest table with a mismatched side table It used to be better

Sollte lecker sein, aber ich würde es vermeiden, wenn jemand Carbonara mit "Schinken und Sahnesauce" bewirbt. Die Pizza hat nicht geschmeckt. Ein ansprechendes Ambiente wäre wünschenswert. einer Raucherlounge? Definitiv kein zweites Mal.

Reserviert und sogar um sicher zu gehen vor dem Besuch bestätigt, aber trotzdem keinen Tisch bekommen, da sich jemand garnicht gekümmert hat. Der Laden war sehr rauchig, und das Personal schien überfordert. Werde nicht wieder kommen.

Leider mussten wir, obwohl wir vor zwei Tagen vorab einen Tisch reserviert hatten, nach 10 Minuten Warten "aufgeben". Es wurde uns zwar versichert, dass so schnell wie möglich ein Tisch organisiert würde, jedoch tat sich in dem Zeitraum gar nichts. Als kurz nach uns schon die nächsten Gäste kamen, die ebenfalls reserviert hatten und auch keinen Tisch bekommen haben, war unser Abend hier beendet. Darüberhinaus wurde uns als möglicher Wartemöglichkeit nur der Raucherbereich angeboten. Da es das Geburtstagsessen meines Vaters sein sollte, gab es "immerhin" einen Prosecco aufs Haus für die Wartezeit.

Mein Lieblings Restaurant der italienischen Küche! Das Ambiente ist sehr traditionell und gemütlich gehalten. Man fühlt sich immer willkommen und sehr wohl. Die Bedienung ist immer freundlich und lange Wartezeiten gibt es hier nie. Zu den Gerichten selber brauch ich nicht viel sagen, es schmeckt einfach unglaublich lecker. Wer gerne italienisch essen geht sollte es hier definitiv ausprobieren 😍🇮🇹🍕🍝

Also das Ambiente ist nett. Spricht nichts dagegen. Wie waren zu dritt da und haben gleichzeitig bestellt. Das war nicht das was wir uns erhofft haben. Geschmacklich war es nicht okay. Schade das man als Servicekraft nicht wirklich drauf eingegangen ist. Sondern uns mit den Standard Sätzen abgewimmelt hat.

Everything was perfect, the food, the service, the atmosphere and also with a clientele as if you had chosen yourself. Everyone enjoyed their food to the sound of quiet music. Smpley, I recomand everyone who travel/stay in Dortmund to try this restaurant!

Salate und Pizzen waren richtig klasse. Nicht das übliche 08/15 Zeug. Hier merkt man noch das Handwerk und die Leidenschaft. An die tolle Tageskarte haben wir uns nicht ran getraut - hatten zuviel Hunger :-) Service war auch klasse, weil freundlich, kompetent und aufmerksam. Ich freu mich jetzt schon auf das nächste Mal im Pott - dann kommen wir wieder!

Die Tomatensuppe war sehr lecker, die Vorspeisenplatte war okay. Wir haben hier einen netten Abend verbracht. In der Straße kann man gut parken. Reservieren war für Montagabend nicht nötig.

Super netter Service, echt leckeres Essen. Das Pizzabrot, das es kostenlos vorab gab, war echt der Hammer. Ich kann das Restaurant nur empfehlen. Leider sind ziemlich häufig Rettungswägen mit Martinshorn vorbeigefahren, was natürlich etwas nervig sein kann, wenn man draußen auf der Terrasse sitzt. Aber dafür kann das Restaurant ja nichts und deshalb gibt es dafür auch keinen Abzug.

Essen gut. Keine Kartenzahlung ausser EC. Mann oh Mann. Willkommen im 21jahrhundert!

Immer lecker und freundlich - klare Empfehlung

Mobiliar in die Jahre gekommen u keine gut Instandhaltung, dürfte etwas mehr gepflegt sein.

Preis Leistung absolut gut. Das Essen war sehr sehr lecker. Wir hätten auch gerne noch mehr gegessen und getrunken, doch leider wurde es uns nicht vergönnt. Der Service war leider das Gegenteil zum Essen. Da halfen auch keine müden Ausreden, wenn jeder Kellner den Tisch groß umrundet und auf nichts reagiert. Fürs Essen würden wir wieder kommen, aber werden wohl ohne Trinkgeld wieder gehen. Sorry.

Sehr gute Tageskarte: z. B. Pizza Hulk. Absolut lecker. Passend zur Saison gab es frischen Spargel als Pizzabeilage. Gerne wieder!
