Ristorante Bella Vista in Bad Salzungen

I experienced rudeness from the staff! When I arrived at the restaurant no one greeted me. I sat down at my chosen table. After three minutes the bartender came up to me and asked what I needed and if I would ask to sit at that table. Next he said in a rude voice that I should have asked before sitting down! The waiter spoke rudely and with a raised voice! I just got up and left!

Rarely have I had such a bad Italian meal. The parade discipline “Carbonara” was thrown into the sand. The egg curdled and instead of bacon, there was cooked ham. So there were egg noodles with cooked ham. The sauce for the other dish was very thick and had little to do with sauce. Service was friendly. The food and drinks arrived quickly. But it took quite a while before we were able to pay our bill. Ambiance was OK. There were fresh flowers on the table and a real candle was lit.

Unfortunately, we were served very unfriendlyly on September 8th, 2024 around 12:30 p.m. because we "only" wanted to eat an ice cream sundae and not a dish. We also paid with the same waiter who didn't even manage to say goodbye, as is usually the case. Really a shame.

Always delicious. Whether pizza, pasta, meat or fish. Nice staff that gives you a touch of vacation. Large beer garden. Unfortunately, it quickly becomes loud and crowded inside (train station atmosphere). We come here often and have not been disappointed so far.

I don't know where my previous review writers ate, but not in this restaurant! I have never been treated or served so poorly. If I could give minus points, I would. An Italian who doesn't even speak Italian and can't offer the guest anything Italian. They don't even have spicy oil. you are dealt with Tabasco. (very Italian🤣🤣🤣) Unfriendly, completely incompetent, as a guest you feel like a burden. Eyes are rolled when bills are split separately.

Ice cream ok. Service disaster. We are assigned a seat, and shortly after getting comfortable we are informed that reserved guests would be arriving in an hour. But don't stress... The ice cream was okay, but the waiter didn't work at all. At the beginning there is pressure and then we don't see anything for a quarter of an hour. To pay exactly the same. It's just strange that the announced guests didn't come. The cocoa was prepared with water and we were given expired coffee cream, which also flakes! Extremely and delicious! Once again one of the restaurants that only benefits from its location. Do yourself a favor and walk the two streets further where not all tourists and spa visitors pass.

As a rehab guest in town, I visited the restaurant several times. The first time I had ice cream parlors and waffles, I asked about card payment and was answered rudely, only for orders over €25. With the waffle I had a strange taste either the ice cream or the waffle had an aftertaste of disinfectant cleaner. During the rehab it was my birthday and my children wanted to surprise me and invite me to dinner. For almost a week they tried to reach the restaurant to make a reservation, at least 5 times a day, then my children even wrote an email and told them that they were mine If you want to celebrate your birthday, this also remained unanswered. So we drove on the chance and they didn't want to let us in because we hadn't made a reservation!!!! My daughters each showed the call history, which was correct, as well as the phone number. Then we got the food, which wasn't that great either, the bruschetta was rock hard and the topping of tomatoes, etc. only tasted like tomatoes, so you couldn't taste any garlic, spices or anything else. At dessert, my children asked if they could put fondane in the dessert like the one at the next table, but the waiter told us they had brought it themselves, OK, not bad. The dessert came, I got mine, my daughter across the street had 2 sparklers in it and I really liked that The plate was almost slammed down on me and someone said "Congratulations" in a really unfriendly manner!!! Even though he noticed it was my birthday. Conclusion: my children had a total of 6 hours of travel and wanted to give me a nice evening, but the waiters' unwillingness and lack of motivation really ruined everything for us.

At lunchtime we ate outside and ordered a file pan with fried potatoes that were swimming in the sauce. I only found 3. The meat was rather cooked and wasn't our cup of tea

Staff is not motivated, either they don't speak German well enough or don't make an effort to understand the customers. .It was asked whether we wanted to pay everything together or separately. After we asked for separate bills, the waiter had a bad mood on his face and let us see it. He didn't like it. We weren't asked whether we wanted to pay by card or in cash, it was discussed for ages, after we kindly expressed to the waiter our wish for the future not only to ask customers about joint or separate bills, but also to ask them too could, whether card or cash is desired. Conclusion: (just like 2 years ago) waiters provide terrible service. Food: goes like this. Ambience: it was fine, the service accordingly... P.S. : the waiter didn't get a tip, he didn't deserve it!!!!! We'd rather go somewhere else where service and satisfaction of the guest is very important, for the money you get what you expected and a 10-15% tip isn't a shame if the customer goes home happy.

During my rehab I went to Bella Vista twice. Classic Italian dishes. Very nice service. You should always ask for some pepper. Very good price/performance ratio. We each had reservations (which was also good).

We had dinner with a large group. The food tasted good! I had problems with the matter-of-fact manner of the waiters... Then a plate slipped out of a waiter's hand while serving and the food was distributed among a guest. It can happen... but no apology from the staff, just a factual promise to cover the damage. The guest had to pay for the meal in full. I suspect guests are just a means to an end to make money...

Super delicious Italian in the center of Bad Salzungen! The restaurant is centrally located right on the market square and is equipped to a high standard. The staff is very attentive and friendly and there is something tasty on the menu for everyone. The portions are enough for even the most hungry and the prices are for the good quality.

During our visit we were warmly welcomed and were immediately impressed by the beautiful and harmonious ambience of the restaurant. After a "greeting from the kitchen", the orders were taken promptly and served after a relatively short waiting time. The size/quantity of the dishes was optimal. You were full and didn't end up overeating. The quality and taste of the food was also good. Personally, my pizza was a bit too cheese-heavy for me, but that's a matter of taste. All dishes are beautifully prepared, which is also a positive thing. The price is also completely reasonable. Overall, I can recommend a visit to Bella Vista, especially to spend some time in the beautiful ambience with good conversations and delicious food.

Hallo Team, hallo Gäste, War am 31.12.2023 zwischen 12:29 und 13:15 Uhr in Begleitung hier, Service wie immer sehr gut. Leider wurde meiner Begleitung die an der Garderobe hängende Jacke gestohlen, am Abend blieb kein Kleidungsstück übrig. Aufgrund dessen gehen wir von einem gezielten Diebstahl aus. Werte Salzunger seid ihr schon soweit gesunken, dass ihr einer armen Rentnerin ihre Jacke stehlen müsst? Ihr habt eine Landsmännin, die kaum Geld zum Leben hat, bestohlen. Ihr sollt euch schämen, dass ihr euch gegenseitig beklaut. Ich bin öfter in diesem Lokal und werde jetzt ein Augenmerk auf jeden Gast mit solch einer Jacke haben. Die Jacke ist durch ein einzigartiges Merkmal erkennbar. Ich brauche dann keine Polizei, ich werde das dann selbst regeln. Werter Dieb, du hast bis Ende Januar Zeit die Jacke in dem Lokal mit dem Hinweis auf Verwechslung und dem Kennwort "Punisher 015156097901" abzugeben. Darfst auch gerne eine Nachricht an die Handynummer schicken, danach wäre die Sache erledigt. Andernfalls gehörst du mir. Liebe Grüße an das Team und Verachtung an das diebische Volk aus Salzungen. Sehr gemütlicher Italiener in zentraler Lage. Schneller und sehr freundlicher Service. Die Speisen waren sehr groß und sehr gut. Wir hatten nichts zu beanstanden

Sehr aufmerksames und freundliches Personal, das hat mir sehr gefallen. Die Speisen werden attraktiv angerichtet serviert. Meine Gattin und ich haben uns einen Salat als Vorspeise geteilt, der war OK. Als Hauptgericht hatten wir Nudeln gewählt, sie war zufrieden, ich nicht. Richtig lecker ist anders. Müssen wir ggf. noch mal an einem anderen Tag hin, vielleicht ergibt sich dann ein besseres Fazit.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und bemüht um uns. Als Vorspeise hatten wir Bruscetta. Es war lecker, aber meiner Meinung nach hat der Knoblauch komplett gefehlt. Die Pizza war dünn und hat vor Fett getropft, aber war lecker. Nur die Panna Cotta zum Nachtisch war nicht so toll. Schimmelige Beeren und fertige süße Erdbeersoße aus der Flasche zum garnieren. Schade. Das WC war auf dem Boden voll mit Klopapier und es gab auch nur welches in einer Kabine. Bevor wir gegangen sind gab es noch einen Schnaps aufs Haus das fand ich gut.

Wir fahren immer gerne ins Bella Vista. Der Service ist top und das Essen sehr lecker. Sehr zu empfehlen

Mega leckeres Essen. Der Service ist nett und schnell aber wir waren zwei Mal dort und haben beim ersten Mal sehr lange auf eine weitere Sprite gewartet und wurden beim zweiten Mal gar nicht erst nach weiteren Getränken gefragt. Auch wenn es relativ voll gewesen ist hätten wir gerne mehr Getränke bestellt. Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis zum Essen ist aber extrem gut. Auch das Ambiente und besonders die Toiletten sind sehr gepflegt. Empfehle das Restaurant weiter, zum nachbestellen unbedingt bemerkbar machen dann ist alles perfekt.

.....katastrophal, unterirdisch, unglaublich schlechter Service sind die negatriven Superlative, die ich hier nachträglich in den Bewertungen las. Warum geht man dann überhaupt dorthin zum Essen? Eine berechtigte Frage, die ich mir nicht ein zweites Mal stellen werde. Als Einzelgast war ich guter Dinge, als ich diese Lokalität ansteuerte. Gleich bei Ausschauhalten nach einem freien Tisch, von denen es reichlich auch ohne Reserviertschild gab, wurde ich von einem Bediensteten eher unfreundlich gefragt, was ich denn wolle. In diesem Moment schon schoss mir die Frage durch den Kopf, ob dieser Herr denn hier richtig am Platze sei. "Zu Abend esssen...., äh...., das möchte ich gern", brachte ich verwundert heraus. Ich war doch bei einem Italiener zu Gast, dachte ich so bei mir. Nein, ich habe keine Heizdecke kaufen wollen und Medikamente auch nicht, flog es mir durch meine Gedankenwelt, die recht rüde unterbrochen wurde: "Sie alleine ?" fuhren mich die Worte knapp und unfreundlich fast über den Haufen. So kam mir dann nur ein kurzes "Ja" über die Lippen. Dieser sich weiter von mir abwendende Bedienstete wies mir händisch und fast unverständlich einen Platz links oberhalb der Treppe gleich neben der Tür zu. "Da möchte ich aber nicht sitzen", reagierte ich etwas brüskiert. Zu eng und dunkel erschien es mir dort, als ich die ungeminderte Härte zu spüren bekam, die dieser inkompetenten Servierkraft wohl dauerhaft zueigen zu sein schien: "dann haben wir keinen Platz für Sie", entfuhr es jenem, der sich mir gegenüber aufführte wie einer, der als Kind schon eigenmächtig die Grundschule abgebrochen hatte. Du meine Güte....., wo bin ich hier. Die Stadt Bad Salzungen wirbt für Aufmerksamkeit als grüne Stadt, wirbt mit ihrer Attraktivität für den Fremdenverkehr sowie für ihre kulturelle Viefalt als staatlich anerkanntes Sole-Heilbad und inmitten des historischen Stadtkerns schafft es ein Italienisches Speiserestaurant, hungrige Touristen zu verscheuchen? Das ist ein katastrophal und unterirdisch, gar unglaublich schlechter Service für die Entwicklung einer Stadt, die, wie allle in diesem Lande, auf Imagepflege angewiesen ist.

Obwohl wir mit kleinen Kindern da waren, wenig Gäste dafür aber viele Servicekräfte im Restaurant waren, warteten wir 50 Minuten auf unser Essen. Ein nachbestelltes Getränk wurde nicht geliefert. Mein Essen war fad, es gab keine Gewürze am Tisch, um nachzuwürzen. Die Spaghetti Napoli meines Sohnes waren ungenießbar, die Sauce so sauer, dass man sich davor ekelte. Die örtliche Lage des Restaurants ist gut. Die Preise gesalzen und nicht gerechtfertigt.

Nie wieder dieses Lokal, unterirdischer Service, ich kann mich nur anschließen. Wir waren im Rahmen einer Fortbildung hier, die Stadt war etwas überfüllt. Klar war etwas Stress, doch das gibt nicht das Recht dermaßen unfreundlich zu sein, und uns anzumotzen weil wir noch zwei Personen an unserem Tisch Platz nehmen lassen haben. Uns wurde nahegelegt zu gehen, was wir auch getan haben. Anscheinend ist man auf Gäste nicht angewiesen. Wir waren dann beim sehr freundlichen Inder.
