Always worth a trip to Bad Kreuznach.

A very exclusive restaurant with very attentive and friendly service staff! The food was absolutely delicious! A little more on the plate would have been nice, but you can immediately tell that quality takes precedence over quantity here! We were greeted with a complimentary amuse-bouche right at the start. The ambiance is also lovely, both inside and out on the terrace, right on the Nahe River. Truly wonderful. If you're looking for a truly exceptional dining experience, this is the place to go!

We were there with friends on New Year's Eve. Four delicious meals, an excellent Kurtatsch Sauvignon Blanc, and a wonderful atmosphere. Highly recommended.

I've been coming here regularly for dinner for years now. I've never had any complaints, neither with the food nor the service. My wife and I always feel very comfortable!

I wanted to pick up a pizza I ordered today and was greeted with rude comments telling me to come earlier next time, even though it was still before closing time. Not recommended. The pizza was cold and uncut. The price/performance ratio was also poor.

I went to buy pizza yesterday and the pizza was brought out to me. Today I was there again and they didn't bring me the pizza like usual. I thought it would take a little longer. I went there 5 minutes later and waited 20 minutes and then they were rude and said that next time it wouldn't be good service.

We had a reservation, had to wait, and then the waiter – incredibly arrogant – seated us at a side table, as if we were sitting at a chip shop. We then stood up; €500 in potential revenue was obviously irrelevant to him. Bad luck for him, good luck for another restaurant that truly values ​​its guests.

We celebrated a wonderful birthday evening at Bella Vista. Delicious food, great wines, and simply outstanding service. We felt completely at home and will definitely be back! One of, if not the best, location right on the Nahe River, with a fantastic terrace, which we unfortunately couldn't use today due to the rain. Hopefully, we'll be back next time.

Unfortunately, the food didn't meet my expectations at all. The dishes were poorly presented, lukewarm, and disappointing in taste. For the price, I would have expected significantly better quality. The staff weren't particularly friendly and barely attentive. This makes you feel unwelcome as a guest. Unfortunately, the visit was disappointing. The restroom was dirty and unkempt, which is completely unacceptable in a restaurant. Cleanliness should be a top priority; there's an urgent need for improvement here.

The food itself was excellent; the pizza was delicious with a wonderfully light and airy crust. I would come again. Atmospheric music on the terrace is lacking, in our opinion. The service has a lot of room for improvement... When two people pay €120 for an evening, I expect the menu, food, and new cutlery to be passed from the right, not even across the entire table. Furthermore, the new cutlery was "thrown" in a very uninspired manner.

Why my *** review many years ago was now being contested and not published, but was banned as defamation, apparently because of my comment "lacking Italian taste," is something I consider a rather bad joke. But ultimately, that's up to the readers to judge. Otherwise, I was actually satisfied with the service. That's never happened to me in my many reviews. Oh dear... instead of changing my perspective and then commenting on it... Very weak...

Wonderful terrace, right on the water, surrounded by greenery. The best seats are, of course, those directly by the balustrade. The interior, on the other hand, is somewhat unspectacular—a nice hotel restaurant, but not unpleasant! We had carpaccio as a starter, then saltimbocca and pizza; everything was great! We're already looking forward to our next visit.

Had a truly horrible time. I went for solo dinner. I was treated so terribly, my order was wrong and when I asked to change it I was told I had to pay ?! Furthermore, the food was then just terrible. The pizza was chewy and cold. I then couldn’t eat the mozzarella (which is what I ordered without) so so this disgusting mess was left on my plate. Would not recommend. Rudest staff and worst food.

Actually, a nice and good restaurant. However, this time we were unlucky with an extremely arrogant, young waiter who clearly hadn't been brought up properly. When we asked about the dessert menu, he claimed there weren't any; he listed three desserts, and we were supposed to choose. Another colleague apparently overheard this and brought us the menu unnoticed. Second bad luck: my food tasted off. In the end, I realized it was apparently due to a potato (the potatoes were in their skins), which also affected the flavor of the sauce. When I pointed this out while serving, there was no response. When we checked out, we were charged for two espressos. When we pointed this out, our arrogant waiter didn't express any regret, but asked if we had ordered twice, along the lines of "it's our own fault," which we declined. We've had a different experience at Bellavista before, but after this experience, we'll be looking elsewhere. What a shame, actually a very nice restaurant.

The food was excellent, as was the stylish ambience – a place with a lot of potential. Unfortunately, our visit was significantly marred by the service. Despite having made a reservation by phone a week in advance, we were seated directly on the terrace upon arrival without much explanation – with the comment that there was only one table available outside. The staff's behavior throughout ranged from aloof to arrogant. Particularly striking: We were given the feeling that we didn't fit the desired guest profile – a shame, especially since three of us come from the restaurant industry and know exactly what service is all about. The low point was an employee who ostentatiously walked through the restaurant chewing gum, his nose almost sticking to the door frame. Conclusion: A very good restaurant with good value for money – unfortunately counteracted by the unpleasantly arrogant demeanor of the staff. More professional hospitality would be desirable here.

It was my first visit. The location and ambiance are very nice. The outdoor heaters are also really great. The staff are too hectic and somewhat disinterested for me. They run around like robots. It felt like mass processing to me. The pizza wasn't to our personal taste either. It was tasteless, too greasy, and I don't like that thick crust. I had specifically requested red onions and garlic. I couldn't find the onions and didn't taste the garlic. The best service in Bad Kreuznach is still at Auszeit.

Italian label fraud – unfortunately, a case of "Bella Vista, brutta verità" As an Italian who grew up in Germany and a long-time critic of Mediterranean cuisine, I was curious about "Bella Vista" in Bad Kreuznach – after all, the name, along with the menu and greetings ("Buona sera, signora!"), promise an Italian restaurant experience. But after just a few minutes, it became clear: This place is more about acting than cooking. The team – all of Turkish origin (including the owner, according to the imprint) – presents itself as Italian without actually being rooted in Italian cuisine. And it shows. It's not a problem if a restaurant is run by non-Italians – Italian cuisine is open and universal. But authenticity requires more than a few Italian words with an accent and store-bought decor. About the food: The cuisine is – objectively speaking – quite solid, but more reminiscent of upscale Turkish home cooking with a Mediterranean influence than true Italian cuisine. The pizza? A well-made "Pide all'italiana," if we're honest – delicious, but hardly pizza. The "mozzarella" on the Caprese or the pizza is obviously not Italian Fior di Latte or even buffalo mozzarella, but probably Turkish Dil Peyniri – completely different in consistency and flavor. Even more disappointing: The supposedly Italian air-dried country ham tastes and looks like a simple, packaged ham from the discount store shelf (I'm guessing Aldi, and not even the better one). Ambience and Service: The interior is chic, but the gap between expectations and reality is vast. The service recites Italian phrases without actually speaking Italian or understanding what Italian hospitality is really about – and that's more than just "bella figura." Anyone familiar with Italian culture won't feel welcome here, but rather "ripped off" – excuse the expression. Conclusion: Those seeking authentic Turkish-Mediterranean cuisine could be happy here – provided the prices were fairer. But those seeking a true Italian experience will be disappointed. The "Bella Vista" sells illusion instead of identity. And that, with all due respect, is a culinary scam. 2 out of 5 stars – for the effort and solid cuisine. But authenticity? None.

Very nice, quick service in a nice location

Because of the good reviews so far, we tried the restaurant and were there with guests. You can put it briefly. We were bitterly disappointed. The hospitality and professional treatment of the guests, as well as the taste of the food, were shocking. We had reserved a table in the restaurant, but were told to sit on the terrace. The waitress responded to my request to sit inside with an eye roll and a snarky comment. My pizza frutti di mare had no taste at all. The pizza was overloaded with tomato sauce, the rubbery seafood was the simplest frozen product. The ground was soggy due to the masses of tomato sauce. Unfortunately the edge was also burnt, so you couldn't even eat it. I was then asked personally by the boss what was going on with the pizza. I told him it wasn't to my taste. He then started discussing that his pizza was the best and that there were never any complaints. Since I didn't feel like arguing, I told him that it would definitely be up to me and that it would be OK. He then said he wouldn't charge for the pizza. That was the end of the matter for me. After a short while, however, he came back to the table and loudly said in front of our guests that he had eaten the pizza and that it was perfect. Well, if you like soggy pizza with no taste but with a burnt edge, it was certainly perfect. Our guests weren't impressed with their food either. The meat was tough, the pasta was too soft and the taste was rather bland. At the end I found the pizza on the bill and it was charged in full.

Arrogant and unhelpful boss. It's sad when you ask nicely and then get complimented because you obviously don't have the same nose as your boss. It's a shame, I would have liked to try the pizza. But it's not like there aren't any other pizzerias in Bad Kreuznach.

We were greeted very friendly. The food was very tasty, a bit much but it was okay. The food came very quickly, drinks too. That look very nice. A very large selection of food. Dessert was also very tasty😁 The toilets were also clean.

The restaurant was recommended to me by a lovely customer. It was outstanding!!! Even though I didn't have a reservation and came with a dog and in hiking clothes, I was immediately and warmly welcomed! The food was simply wonderful and the next time you visit it will definitely not be just plain water, like today! I felt very comfortable, thank you🤓🐶

The Bella Vista is without a doubt the most beautiful restaurant in Bad Kreuznach. The terrace directly on the Nahe offers a fantastic view and invites you to linger - a real highlight, especially when the weather is nice! The restaurant is run by a family, which you can feel from the first moment: warm, personal and with great attention to detail. You immediately feel at home and welcome. A clear recommendation for everyone who appreciates good food and a special atmosphere!

Good Italian cuisine in a stylishly furnished restaurant with very nice staff. I've been eating here for years, sometimes alone, with customers or colleagues. It is advisable to make a reservation. In summer you can sit particularly well on the terrace. The food is expensive but well cooked and even special requests are happy to be fulfilled. The menu has something for every taste. I'll be back.

Hello, after hearing about the restaurant several times, we spent an evening there. The atmosphere is nice, the tables are sufficiently large and placed at a distance from the neighboring tables. The service is very good. For starters we had beef carpaccio and vitello tonnato. The wisdom comes true: Don't order anything in a restaurant that you can't do better at home. Unfortunately the Vitello Tonnato had almost no capers and only one! Caper berries, but 3 anchovy fillets in a row. Anyone who knows this knows that this is a very salty matter. In terms of taste, it's more of a district class, but the price is 18€ Bundesliga. The carpaccio was a little better and a little more lovingly prepared, but it couldn't meet the expectations of an 18€ starter. For the main course I chose a pizza with anchovies, capers and olives. I ordered it before I ate the starter, otherwise I certainly wouldn't. This wasn't just salty, it was simply too salty. My wife's main course was from the daily menu, salmon with parmesan topping. Was still the best of the 4 dishes. If you spend more than 100€ on an evening with 2 people, 2 drinks each, 1 starter and a main course, you can expect a lot more than friendly service. Conclusion: We are still looking for a good Italian restaurant in the KH area, even if most of them are not Italian.

We visited “Bella Vista” for the first time today and were greeted very warmly from the start. A “nice that you’re here!” Unfortunately, you don't hear it that often these days and it was said and lived there. The food was very good and our little daughter was warmly welcomed and a high chair was already prepared. Top!! We constantly checked to see if everything was OK, but without asking intrusively every time. That was also very pleasant. The quality of the food is really good. The ambience itself is a bit more upscale, and so are the prices. However, I would definitely recommend this if someone wants a cozy restaurant with great service. Thank you for the lovely evening!

We were visiting near Bad Kreuznach and were looking for an Italian restaurant for dinner with our friends. Reservation by telephone was possible without any problems. When we arrived we were asked to wait a bit... they wanted to give us a better table than the one we had initially reserved, which had just become free... GREAT!!! We've never experienced anything like this before... The table with a view of the Nahe was really beautiful and definitely worth the wait. The service at the table was very friendly and had good recommendations, which we were happy to follow. All of the dishes were excellent and really suited our taste. Overall, a very nice evening and above all a recommendation for this restaurant.

The service was A1. Rarely experienced something like that. Very friendly and attentive staff. The atmosphere was very inviting and comfortable. We spontaneously got a table on December 25th. The food was very good and the price-performance ratio is more than okay, rather too cheap for this service. If I'm ever in the area, I'll come back.

I visited the restaurant with my partner on a Thursday evening. Eat: We ordered a lasagne and a pizza. The food was prepared at an incredible pace, but in our opinion both dishes were quite bland in terms of taste. The pizza was partially burnt. Service: It is a very upscale restaurant with super friendly and humorous service staff. Ambiance: We really liked the furnishings and lighting. There was definitely a certain feel-good factor.

I didn't think my food was tasty, although it looked pretty. But it didn't taste good. Unfortunately the meat wasn't good. And the potatoes didn't taste good either. There wasn't enough tuna on the vitello, so the lamb flavor was just way too strong. The waitress was nice and friendly, but when she asked us how the food tasted, I told her that. And all that came back was a smile. Then it's better to leave this question if you don't care about the problem. Location is nice, prices are ok. But I expect more when I order a plate for just under €36. Or the starter for 17€.

We were there with a group of 8 people. The restaurant makes a good impression inside. The waiter recommended an appetizer platter and offered to order 2 larger platters for 4 people each. The starter was tasty but completely overpriced for €17.90 per person. For the main course I ordered a pizza with cream cheese, spinach and salmon. Unfortunately, it was baked far too dark and tasted burnt. When I pointed this out, the waiter explained that the pizza was baked in a stone oven and that, in his opinion, it was completely fine. He wanted to eat the rest. I didn't follow up to see if he did that. In an upscale restaurant, I expect the waiter to handle a complaint professionally. Such quality at this price, we won't be visiting there again. Other recessions here report similar things. Too bad.

Were here with three couples. The service was excellent - there's no other way to say it. My pizza Frutti di Mare was very tasty. The pumpkin soup was a bit coconut-heavy. The couple who were friends found their pizza a bit greasy. My wife and I were very satisfied.

Hier lief wirklich alles wunderbar. Trotzdem wir nicht reserviert hatten bekamen wir nach einem kleinen Aperitif an der Bar einen schönen Tisch. Der Service war klasse und superfreundlich. Eine tolle Atmosphäre und eine sehr schöne Vorspeise rundete den ersten Eindruck ab. Das Hauptgericht war sehr wohlschmeckend und auch das Preis Leistungsverhältnis war sehr angenehm. Leider konnten wir kein Trinkgeld auf die Rechnung buchen. Das sollte unbedingt in Zukunft möglich gemacht werden. Wir haben halt kein Cash dabei. Sorry aber in Italien Österreich Spanien usw. Geht das ohne Probleme 🤔

Both the route and the interior are beautifully prepared and always clean. The toilets are also well maintained and clean. If you visit this restaurant you will always be greeted in a friendly manner and shown to a table. The staff is very friendly, accommodating and takes care of every customer request. We as a group were looked after very carefully. The food is very good, the wine prices are okay. You shouldn't be persuaded to share an appetizer platter. It's good but overpriced.

Our favorite restaurant in our beautiful city :-) We eat there on all major occasions and also went there for our wedding. We really appreciate the great ambience and the courteous nature of the waiters. The terrace is an absolute dream in summer. If you want to enjoy a good meal in a beautiful atmosphere, this is the right place for you.

Absolutely not recommended. The pizza was dry because they skimped on tomato sauce. And the edge was far from crispy: soft and floury, I had to cut it off. The dessert couldn't score either: the mousse au chocolat consisted of 3 very small cams and was simply sweet. The price-performance ratio is simply not right here. On top of that, the waiter was also arrogant and very pushy and tried vehemently to force us to place further orders. Absolutely not an atmosphere in which you can feel comfortable.

The food was fine. When you are a local you are fine. They give you the best seat and treatment. If you are just a normal person looking for good food, you are not known or don’t look “fancy” for the standards they have, they will not pay you attention or give you good service. Take the risk if you want, it is overrated.

Nice atmosphere. My dish tasted commendably good! But the portion could be a little larger for the price. I had ordered a Karamalz as the menu said, but I received a malt beer from a different brand. It's not that bad, but I would name it differently on the map. The service was friendly.
