Al Fiume - Genuss am Fluss in Bad Kreuznach

Leider haben wir das Restaurant wieder verlassen, ohne etwas zu essen, weil wir uns als Gäste nicht willkommen gefühlt haben. Schon beim Betreten fragten wir freundlich, ob wir an einem bestimmten Tisch Platz nehmen dürften. Die Antwort war sinngemäß: „Was denkst du selbst?“ – das empfanden wir bereits als unnötig unfreundlich. Als wir anschließend nach einem anderen Tisch fragten, weil wir gerne das Fußballspiel sehen wollten, wurde uns entgegnet, das Essen schmecke schließlich überall gleich. Nachdem wir uns gesetzt hatten, folgte noch ein weiterer spöttischer Kommentar zu unserer Sitzposition. Den Ausschlag gab schließlich die Reaktion auf eine einfache Frage zur Weinkarte. Aufgrund einer Fruktoseintoleranz fragte ich, welcher Wein trocken ist. Statt kurz nachzusehen oder eine Empfehlung zu geben, wurde mir lediglich gesagt, ich solle doch etwas anderes trinken. Freundlicher Service gehört für uns zu einem Restaurantbesuch dazu. An diesem Abend hatten wir leider nicht den Eindruck, als seien Gäste oder ihre Fragen willkommen. Deshalb haben wir uns entschieden, das Restaurant wieder zu verlassen.

Wollten abends noch ein Glas trinken. Wurden herablassend behandelt. Salzstreuer wurden vom Tisch abgeräumt, während wir noch saßen. Fürs Trinkgeld nicht mal ein danke, eher wurde es fast entrissen. Wurde als Gast selten so schlecht behandelt, es ging nur darum, unser Geld noch einzupacken. Nie wieder!!

Service, Lage und Essen sind top, z.B. die mit Pilzen gefüllten Tortelacci mit Trüffelscheiben.

Eine wunderschöne Gegend jedoch wird dies ausgenutzt dementsprechend ist der Preis hoch. Kleine Teller und kleine Pizzas.

Eine tolle location mit lecker Fisch

Die Terrasse ist dank der malerischen Umgebung idyllisch, und der Service war durchweg freundlich; das Essen hingegen ist für den Preis nichts Besonderes. Es wirkt für das Gebotene zu protzig.

Sehr angehmes Ambiente im Außenbereich mit eine Art"Zelt" und Heizluftstrahler für kühlere Temperaturen. Die Kellner sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir sind ohne Reservierung vorbeigekommen, was kein Problem war. Nur am Wochenende ist eine Reservierung besser, hat uns ein Kellner gesagt. Wir haben mehr getrunken wie gegessen, aber an den Nachbartischen haben die Gerichte gut ausgesehen. Alles in einem zum Empfehlen.

Das Essen war gut, aber nichts besonderes. Das Personal macht Unterschiede bei den Gästen. Uns wurden die Tagesempfehlungen NICHT mitgeteilt und dann wurde versäumt uns mitzuteilen, dass eine große Gruppe im Außenbereich plaziert wird. Es war zu heiß und viel zu eng. Dem Wunsch nach Parmesan wurde nicht entsprochen mit den Worten: das isst man nicht dazu. Es ist meine Entscheidung und der Kunde sollte Gast sein. Das ist hier leider nicht der Fall.

Die Pizza war die die beste ich habe auch bessere gegessen. der Thunfisch war ziemlich wenig drauf wäre viel besser einwenig mehr drauf. der Lachs mit der Soße ( war Mega lecker ) dagegen.

Ein herrlicher Sonntagsmittagessen im Al Fiume! Wir hatten die „Mob Boss“-Pizza und ein Tagesgericht mit Linguine, gegrillten Garnelen und Spargel in Pesto. Die Pizza war gut, vor allem der Teig war schön locker und fluffig. Das Pasta-Gericht war köstlich! Die Bedienung war freundlich und aufmerksam, und wir wurden von der Gastgeberin mit einem Lächeln begrüßt. Das Ambiente an unserem Tisch mit direktem Flussblick war perfekt. Tolle Lage, Park und Thermalbad sind fußläufig erreichbar.

Insgesamt ein tolles Erlebnis. Das Restaurant ist schön gelegen an der Nahe. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Highlight sind natürlich die Gerichte. Die Portionen sind optimal, die Zutaten qualitativ hochwertig und geschmacklich alles einfach Klasse!

Leckeres Essen, schnelle Bedienung

Meine Frau liebt dieses Restaurant. Das Personal ist außergewöhnlich aufmerksam und erfüllt jede Menge Sonderwünsche. Das Essen ist sehr lecker und liebevoll zubereitet. Komplettes Verwöhnprogramm. Und zum Schluss wusste der Kellner sogar noch, welche Jacke meine Frau anhatte. Beeindruckend. Ich kann dieses Restaurant auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

Tourists coming from far away should bring their time – lots of time. We waited 1.5 hours for the main course, while four other guests (all obviously acquaintances of the establishment, greeted with kisses left and right) received their food after only 10–15 minutes. When we asked why, the simple answer was that we had an appetizer – which the others had too, by the way. An excuse as bland as the service and as salty as the food (salt and more salt) at steep prices. Overrated, and tourists are obviously only planned here to fill the table. Be careful if you aren't part of the local circle. Tourists should come here with plenty of time to spare – we waited 1.5 hours for our main course while four other couples (clearly regulars, greeted with kisses on both cheeks) were served within 10–15 minutes. When we asked why, the explanation was that we had an appetizer – as did they, by the way. A poor excuse, as bland as the service and as salty as the food (salt and more salt) for the premium prices charged. Overrated, and it seems tourists are just here to fill the seats. Beware if you’re not part of the local inner circle.

We received a very friendly welcome at Al Fiume in Bad Kreuznach – even without a reservation, we were immediately offered a table. The service was exceptionally friendly, attentive, and warm. The food was excellent, and you can immediately tell that the team works hand in hand and with joy. An all-around wonderful experience – we'll definitely be back!

We waited a bit longer for our drinks to arrive. Unfortunately, the bread for the salad was also forgotten, but an aperitif made up for it. Overall, a lovely little place with truly delicious food. We would recommend it anytime. The staff is very attentive and courteous.

We visited "al Fiume" in Bad Kreuznach yesterday and were very satisfied. The food was delicious and arrived quickly. The pizza amore was delicious, the linguine made from a Parmesan wheel was wonderfully creamy, and the mixed salad was fresh and well-balanced. The restaurant is located directly on the Nahe River, which gives it a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. The menu offers many vegetarian options, but there's also plenty for meat lovers. There's also a daily special with changing dishes. The outdoor area is easily accessible for wheelchair users thanks to a ramp. We can't comment on the accessibility of the interior. In short: friendly service, delicious food, beautiful location. We'll definitely be back!

Very nice outdoor area by the river. I wasn't particularly impressed with the food. The pizza was also very small for the price. The service was sometimes (or some staff) very friendly, while others were a bit stressed.

I haven't had such a delicious meal in a long time. The atmosphere is reminiscent of vacation. The staff are very friendly and attentive. We were advised to order just the starter for two people, which is what we did. And lo and behold, we were full. We're going back tomorrow to try something from the daily menu. I'm already looking forward to it. In summary: our short break in Bad Kreuznach was topped off by this restaurant. A little piece of Italy near the Parkhotel.

A very nice restaurant right on the Nahe River. We've always had a table right by the river. The staff are very attentive; you just have to look and someone is there immediately. The portions are on the small side, that's true, unfortunately. I've never seen children there. That's actually surprising, since Italians in particular are very fond of children. And it's true that a certain type of guest is greeted very effusively with hugs and kisses. Since I don't really like that anyway, it doesn't bother me, but I noticed.

Nice restaurant, would go somewhere else next time. In our opinion, the value for money isn't right here. The food was okay but nothing special; the pizza was rather soggy than crispy. No card payments accepted without prior notice... that's not really possible.

The positive first: the service was really nice and attentive. Unfortunately, that's where it ends. I have never experienced four people leaving a restaurant hungry and having to get something somewhere else to be halfway full. (...and we are normal eaters) Not only were the portions simply too small, unfortunately most of them simply tasted bland or, in the case of the grilled vegetables, were almost raw. Only the steak was properly seasoned and well fried. You can live with small portions as long as the quality and taste are right, but that's not really the case here.

We have been to Al Fiume twice and were unfortunately disappointed by the atmosphere both times. The service was unfriendly and loudly gossiped and laughed about other guests, which was very unpleasant for us. This also made us feel unwelcome. However, the food should be highlighted positively: both times the dishes were really tasty and of high quality. Important to know: Guests wearing casual clothing are often turned away, and children don't seem to be particularly welcome there either. Al Fiume is therefore not recommended for families or spontaneous visits in relaxed clothing. In total: Food: very good Service and atmosphere: disappointing Child friendliness: bad We won't come back again. Parking spaces available, but not enough.

Went to Al Fiume for the first time today - and to be honest: we're absolutely thrilled! From the first bite of the starter to the last bite of the main course, everything was simply delicious. I don't think I've ever had such a good bruschetta. I could have fooled myself. My steak was super tender and seasoned perfectly. Plus a waiter who impressed with genuine friendliness and attentiveness - and an atmosphere in which you immediately feel at home. The only small drawback: the water was a bit too warm for me personally - but that doesn't detract from the overall great experience. Definitely not our last visit.

Visitors with the “more income” look are treated much better here. We were told there were no places available in the shade. We were placed directly in the sun. The visitors after us were free to choose where they wanted to sit. There was also no greeting from the kitchen. Portion sizes are not fair for the price. Not long ago you could get more for this price at this restaurant. Service wasn't friendly. I won't go there again.

We have been guests in this restaurant for over 10 years and have brought countless new guests with us. But it was the last time since July 2023! The boss himself doesn't take the complaints seriously! Not very professional! But what you then experienced transcends everything. - Wrong food brought was very disappointing and the boss gives incorrect explanations, an apology would be appropriate. - The food was incorrectly calculated (by the boss personally). I had rump steak with fried potatoes and onions (onions were not roasted but boiled). Price was €25.00 The boss charges me rump steak with chanterelles (which I didn't have) 32.00 euros!!!! The boss doesn't take this seriously either, he took the money, no new calculation. An apology would be in order, but instead he laughed at me. This is not how you behave towards any guest, especially not the regulars. Very unfortunate.

The Fettucine Asparagi/Gamberoni is ok, but just on the salt limit (a grain more and it would be over salty), but a whole TWO! Shrimp... dio mio, that was a bit very economical, one shrimp was nice as a decoration on top, the second one cut into five pieces in the pasta. The tortelloni below average, also hard on salt, dry and the pasta dough too hard. You don't have to go there again...

Wir, älteres Paar, sahen uns über den Tisch gezogen. Bei dem Wusch nach einem Glas Wein zu einer hochpreisigen Flasche ohne Nennung des Preises animiert zu werden - sei es drum. Die zwei aufgedrängten Grappa nach Ende der Mahlzeit hielten wir - wie üblich - als Geste des Hauses. Aber nein: 26€ für zwei Gläschen. Nach Durchsicht der Rechnung unter Protest das Lokal verlassen. Da schmeckt kein Essen.

Food was very tasty, waiting time was underground, alleged transmission error, waiter had no plan and made a false statement, didn't even dare to come to our table anymore...1 plus point for the free espresso as compensation.....

Food was very good, but the waiting time of 1.5 hours was unacceptable. Waiter lied to us that there was a lot to do, another waiter explained that the orders for 4 tables had not been transferred and brought a fantastic espresso as compensation.

Der türkische Chef, der versucht auf Italiener zu machen , war eher kühl. Unfreundlich zu seinen Angestellten, die nur Hilfsarbeiten machen durften. Das Essen wurde zum Teil im Gastraum zubereitet, obwohl direkt daneben Gäste saßen. Die Speisen schmeckten sehr gut , waren nur viel klein ( eher Vorspeisengröße) und dafür überteuerte Preise. Der Service war mäßig freundlich. Das Geschirr wurde abgeräumt obwohl am Tisch noch gegessen wurde. Es wurde nicht nachgefragt ob wir noch Dessert oder etwas anderes möchten. Wir mussten alles einfordern. Lokal nicht zu empfehlen.... Nie wieder...

The prices are reasonable. All in all, a thoroughly successful evening. I'm already looking forward to the next time. Keep it up!

Simply the best Italian (in my opinion)!! Always friendly, always fast, always delicious! You feel really comfortable here and are treated to very good food and the recommendations always meet our taste
