Unfortunately we had to wait a very long time for the food. When it finally arrived, I had a very nice meal myself. My table companions were less lucky

The food takes to long. 2 hours!

We wait almost two hours for our main course, our glasses have been empty for an hour. Natchos were literally just chips with some cheese, no toppings. Waiting times make for a very unpleasant experience.

We had dinner at Rio Grande this evening and what can I say: a heartfelt recommendation. The atmosphere is totally cozy, the service is absolutely great - we have rarely seen such friendly and radiant staff. The food also left nothing to be desired. The taste is absolutely great, fresh and super delicious! Price performance very fair! We'd love to come back! THANK YOU for the great evening! Eating out is finally fun again! 😍

Since I am currently a straw widower, I have a lot of time to sample the diversity and cuisine of the beautiful city of Lingen. So tonight the Rio Grande, a Mexican restaurant, was on my portfolio. The quality of a restaurant is often evident when you reserve a table. I was already turned away from a table for one person in Lingen, no joke. Not very friendly here at all, I was told. You are very welcome to come by. The ambience is a bit playful, but gives the impression of a Cantina Méxicana. Colorful, but very cozy. The service is quick and attentive, but never intrusive. You will also receive good advice about the spiciness of the food. I had fried onion rings with salsa speciale and then a fajita with chilli con carne. Both were large portions, both really, really tasty, both were hot and arrived quickly. It's a shame that the Sol beer wasn't in stock, I would have liked to drink one with lemon again. But that didn't detract from the whole thing, a normal bit was absolutely fine and also delicious because it was freshly tapped and chilled just right. Every now and then there was a subtle question as to whether everything was OK. People can't get any better than this. The food is extremely tasty and sumptuous, the service is really nice and the prices are actually way too cheap at just 31.00 euros for this service. ... definitely visit, an absolute insider tip, the Rio Grande.

First of all, a very nice atmosphere. The staff is very friendly. The portions are large, the food is very tasty. You feel comfortable.

We spent a lovely evening in the Rio Grande with delicious food and drinks. I had "Buey", Argentinian beef with (crunchy) vegetables and gratinated with cheese. The whole thing is served rustically in a cast iron pan. There was also a side dish of salad, fries, rice and dips. Everything was very tasty and attractively prepared. Very attentive and friendly service. The restaurant was busy that evening, but drinks and food were served quickly. Typical Mexican atmosphere. Overall, a nice successful visit to the restaurant, also a very good price-performance ratio. It was definitely not our last visit to the Rio Grande.

The ambience looked really stereotypical, as did the music that was playing there. The waitresses were very friendly and accommodating. The food was brought quickly, beautifully presented and tasted very tasty. Special requests were taken into account. The cocktail also tasted very tasty. All in all the experience was very excellent. Price/performance was great. Parking was available and there was plenty of it. Will visit again if you fancy Mexican.

I like the Mexican atmosphere and the Latin music. Great cocktails and plenty of food. Great. And it tastes incredibly delicious. The rest can be packed up and brought home with you if you wish. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. Price-performance ratio is right! Conclusion: absolutely recommended. I'd love to go there again, with friends and family.

Were there for the first time as a couple in February 2024. First impression: Very friendly and quick reception, relatively full shop, pleasant music volume and a great ambience. There were 3 waiters on site that evening, two of whom unfortunately made life difficult for the third. We had the wrong drinks, the main course came to the table during the starter and at the end there was a horribly (incorrectly) mixed mojito, which the said waiter independently replaced with a correct one before I even had the chance to try it. He apologized several times for his colleagues and saved our evening. Conclusion: food delicious, atmosphere very nice, staff not (yet) attuned. Nevertheless, we would like to come back and give Rio Grande a second chance

Despite booking a table, the food was still not brought to the table after 2 hours The cocktails that were actually ordered with ALCOHOL seemed to be alcohol-free, and bottles of beer were only brought to the table after 1 hour of being asked

We were welcomed and seated straight away, but unfortunately it took a little longer before we could get our drinks. But you can't blame the two waiters because they were very busy. Drinks, starters and main course came quickly. The food was very tasty and, above all, cheaper than expected. For 3, each with drinks and a main course and shared starter €70 including tip.

We ordered food to pick up from Rio Grande today. Called at 5:40 p.m. and we were able to pick up our food on time at 6:15 p.m. The food was very tasty and plentiful. Price - performance top. Thank you for that!

Everything perfect. The waiters were so nice :) He even gave our little one a children's bar at the end. The food was very tasty and large portions! It was quiet and relaxed. We paid around €130 for 6 people (including several drinks) and everyone was stuffed.

Wir waren hier diese Woche essen, weil wir unbedingt mal mexikanisch essen wollten, ich dieses Restaurant gefunden habe und wir sowieso in Lingen waren. Zunächst ist das Restaurant sehr schön eingerichtet, man fühlt sich wirklich direkt sehr sehr wohl. Das Essen war natürlich auch super lecker, aber was mich wirklich sehr begeistert hat war der Cocktail und der Service. Beidem würde ich gerne noch einen Stern mehr geben, was aber leider nicht geht, aber absolut verdient wäre. Ich hatte einen Mocktail (Cocktail ohne Alkohol) und der war die perfekte Mischung zwischen süß und sauer, ich habe noch nie so einen leckeren Mocktail gehabt, sodass ich mir noch einen zweiten bestellen musste (was nie vorkommt). Die Frau die dort alles im Service gemacht hat wirkte sehr kompetent und war super freundlich, da hatte man direkt von Anfang an ein sehr gutes Gefühl. Sie hat wirklich einen super guten Job gemacht, was auch der Grund für meine Bewertung ist. Ich bewerte hier nur, wenn etwas überragend gut oder überragend schlecht ist und in diesem Fall war es überragend gut! Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen und ich würde es jedem empfehlen :)

Wir waren mit 2 Erwachsenen und zwei Kindern im Rio Grande. Es war ein sehr schöner Abend mit sehr leckerem Essen, tollen Getränken und echt tollem Service Personal. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Macht weiter so, es war für uns ein tolles Erlebnis bei euch.

Wir waren heute dort, um es mal auszuprobieren. Ich muss sagen, es war wirklich sehr schön. Alle waren sehr freundlich und nett, auch waren sie sehr aufmerksam. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Auch das Ambiente ist sehr ansprechend und gemütlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Ein tolles Restaurant, das absolut empfehlenswert ist! Ich war am letzten Samstag mit meinen Mädels dort und wir wurden unglaublich freundlich bedient. Egal wer von den Angestellten an unseren Tisch kam, jede/r hatte ein freundliches Wort und ein Lächeln parat. Die Cocktails waren sehr lecker und mit Liebe zubereitet. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist hier absolut mehr als in Ordnung. Uns wurde mit viel Geduld die Samstagsaktion erklärt bevor wir unser Essen bestellt haben. Auch hier wurde auf Extrawünsche eingegangen und sich sehr geduldig um all unsere Fragen gekümmert. Wir alle waren sehr positiv überrascht von so viel Freundlichkeit. Als das Essen dann kam, waren wir sehr überrascht. Die Portionen waren riesig und die Speisen ihr Geld mehr als wert. Alles war durch die Bank lecker, heiß und hübsch auf dem Teller dekoriert. Auch hier absolut nichts zu meckern. Preis top! Essen top! Koch top! Alles in allem hatten wir einen wunderschönen Abend mit leckerem Essen und tollen Getränken, netter Bedienung und einem schönen Ambiente im Restaurant. Ich kann das Rio Grande nur weiterempfehlen und habe keinerlei Beanstandungen. Danke an das gesamte Team!
