We were passing through from Eisenach and had made a reservation in advance. The Klienbaude is beautifully located and offers everything you'd expect as a guest in a simple, cozy atmosphere: great service, excellent food, just like your mother and grandmother would make. We highly recommend it and would like to thank the owners again. (By the way, the prices are very reasonable for what they offer.)

I ate at the Eisfelder Hof and ordered a local beef steak – and what can I say: It was the second-best steak of my life! Exactly as I ordered it – perfectly rare – served to perfection. 👌 I also had sweet potatoes that not only tasted amazing, but were also presented so appetizingly. The service was friendly and attentive, making the visit even more enjoyable. The atmosphere in the restaurant is cozy; you immediately feel at ease and welcome. Great food, regional quality, and a kitchen that knows its craft. If you love good meat, you should definitely visit this restaurant – a definite recommendation!

Ate a very tasty kebab plate for 8.50. Friendly service, everything was excellent.
