Klienbaude in Leinefelde-Worbis

Highly recommended. The menu may be limited, but it tastes like grandma's. Truly excellent. If you're looking for a quiet spot with good food, this is the place to be.

We've been here several times... it's a lovely place to linger... the food is delicious too... and you get a beautiful view of the Eichsfeld region for free... Top...

Update 07/25 We went cycling again with friends. There were seven of us. We arrived at 6:20 PM. We sat down, and when I approached the staff to tell them we wanted to eat, the person who served me was unfriendly, saying there were a lot of us and she didn't know if there was enough food. She spoke to the manager and told me we could stay, but it would take a while. After an hour (7:20 PM) and after we'd had our first beer, the waiter wanted to take our drink orders again. We asked if we could have the menu so we could choose our food. She told us not yet, and that she could actually tell us around 8:00 PM if they had enough food. I don't think I should wait until 8:00 PM to be told at that time that I couldn't eat. We left the place after paying only for what we had consumed. I don't recommend this place at all! There were three of us on bikes. The day was nice for sitting outside. The food is relatively cheap. There are a couple of games for children outside. We'll be back. Keep in mind that the kitchen closes at 1:30 PM and reopens at 5:00 PM. They are very strict with their opening hours. We were served relatively quickly, and the food took about 15 minutes to arrive. They only accept cash as payment.

The food was quite good, but anyone with a dog had to stay outside. It would have been nice to have known this beforehand. Ours are small and well-behaved, but inexplicably, no exception was made, even though we had a table in the corner and no one would have seen the dogs. The two of us stayed outside with the dogs and let them know. Unfortunately, no one came out to ask for more drinks. The food was brought to the table inside and then taken outside by my husband. It was a shame.

A lovely little pub with a fantastic view over the beautiful Eichsfeld region. How anyone can call it service, though, is beyond me. I've never experienced such an unfriendly landlord. We had the feeling he didn't want any customers. Such a shame about this little gem.

A big shout-out to Katja Fütterer; her baking skills alone are worth a stroll to the Klienbaude. 😀👍

All in all, highly recommended, no one will be disappointed! Cakes very tasty!

Friendly operating couple who have fun and enjoy their work. Our drinks and the kids' ice creams were fine. Nice outdoor seating area where you can spend longer in the sun. We'll be back.

Nice little cozy restaurant in the middle of nature. The food and service were excellent. Also a great selection of cakes and tarts, with great attention to detail. Price performance is simply top. Be sure to reserve a table, it's worth it.

I love the Klienbaude, it's always charming there, the food is delicious, the service is always friendly and the view is wonderful, a small house in the forest!

The Klienbaude is an idyllic small excursion restaurant with solid home cooking and its own cake. When the weather is nice, you can enjoy the view and a cozy drink on the terrace. This place is also highly recommended as a rest stop for a planned bike tour. If you don't want to cycle or walk, you can also park directly in front of the restaurant. PS: The only thing that might still have some potential is the paprika sauce from the “Hungarian Schnitzel” 😉 (Instead of the paprika sauce from the jar, a decent Letscho would have been more suitable for the dish). But all the other variants were super tasty.

Ich bin jedes Mal von der Kuchenkunst begeistert. Selten ein Lokal mit so tollen, besonderen und super leckeren Kuchen in der Nähe erlebt. Immer wieder einen Besuch wert, auch wegen des netten und freundlichen Teams! Für jedes Wetter findet man ein passendes Plätzchen, ob drin oder auf der Außenterasse mit schöner Aussicht und vor allem völliger Ruhe vor dem Wald. Schön, dass so viele Leute dieses Lokal vor dem Wald kennen! Auch für den deftigen Hunger findet man eine leckere Auswahl, dazu oft abgestimmt auf die Höhepunkte des Jahres. Und das zu absolut fairen Preisen!

Das Essen ist wie immer super lecker. Es ist nur eine kleine Karte ,aber das reicht vollkommen aus. Wenn man essen möchte ist es zwingend erforderlich einen Platz zu reservieren sonst hat man keine Chance. Und man kann nicht mit Karte zahlen.

Essen war wie immer lecker . Zu empfehlen Rostbrädel mit Bratkartoffeln

Eine rustikale Gaststätte wie sie sein soll. Gutes Essen und Trinken und der selbstgebackene Kuchen bei einer schönen Tasse Kaffee ist auch sehr zu empfehlen. Die tolle Aussicht auf der Terrasse ist fantastisch.

Sehr schönes Ambiente und das Essen war wirklich toll. Die Aussicht ist perfekt.Der Wirt hat seinen eigenen Humor, aber genau das passt wie der Deckel auf einen Topf ;0)

Ich war 30 Jahre nicht da und kannte den langjährigen Wirt ( 26 Jahre) nicht. Ich werde versprochen keine 30 Jahre wieder warten. Es war ei toller Abend.
