The amazing staff deserves special mention – friendly, attentive, and simply delightful. The food is a complete success: generous portions, absolutely delicious, and all at fair prices. You really get great value for your money here. Highly recommended – I'll definitely be back!

The food was delicious. It wasn't the usual typical Asian fare. They have a fairly large menu with dishes that aren't your typical Asian fare. It was very tasty, and we'll gladly come back if we're ever in the area again.

Always a safe bet. A good selection of Asian dishes; vegetarians will easily find something here too. My tip is definitely the sushi! Good quality and value for money – I'd recommend the sushi bowl; you really get a generous amount of salmon, rice, and salad for your money.

We spontaneously decided to visit Ricebrothers on New Year's Eve and got a table without any trouble, even without a reservation. The service was very warm and attentive from the start. The food was consistently excellent. We had summer rolls, wakame salad, pho, and bun bo nam bo—everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The drinks, such as the mango lassi and tea, were also very impressive. A particularly positive aspect was the clear labeling of the gluten-free options on the menu, and the good selection. Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable visit with fantastic food and exceptionally friendly service. Highly recommended.

Wow!!! I wanted to go to Luigi's, but then I didn't feel like Italian again, so I went into Rice Brothers. The coconut soup and the chicken with rice as main courses were the most delicious meals I've had in months. Absolutely delicious! The tea was fresh and exceptionally good! The service was fantastic! 🤩 Definitely recommended!

What we really didn't like: We had just sampled the appetizers when the main courses arrived a minute later. When we pointed out that it was a bit fast, we were told that a large group of 30 people was supposedly arriving soon, and that would mean a long wait. When we left later, this group still hadn't arrived! The food is okay, but nothing special. There are much better Vietnamese restaurants in Hamburg, and they even have more reasonable prices. The place is located right by the harbor in the Portuguese Quarter, and it seems they're just trying to clear the tables quickly for the next tourists.

During my visit to Hamburg me and my friend visited this place to have lunch and it's close by to the cruise or boating side. The varieties of food was good. Had Rice and some other combinations of food. The price was also reasonable. The staff were good. Overall a nice experience and yummy food.

We were there for lunch and had two dishes from the lunch menu with a drink, along with sushi from the regular menu. The food, drinks, and service were all fine. The more crowded the place gets, the louder it gets; it was a bit too loud for me. The bottom line is that the lunch menu is good, but it wasn't so special that I'd necessarily want to come back.

During our Hamburg vacation, we wanted to grab a last-minute lunch. Walking down the street, we noticed the delicious food served by the seated diners. Unexpectedly, we were served by a young man from Hamburg, which surprised us greatly but led to a very friendly and informative conversation. The food was more than sufficient and very good. We would definitely come back when we're in Hamburg again.

We went to this restaurant spontaneously at lunchtime, it was quiet and calm, lots of free tables. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, the atmosphere is definitely pleasant. The waitress is friendly and polite. We ordered a drink (6€), but there was more ice than drink. We also took a set of rolls (17€), they were fresh and very tasty. Fried chicken with rice noodles (17€) was tasty, but nothing special. I liked the sauce and vegetables. And the shrimp bowl (18€), quite a large portion. We would definitely come back here for the rolls.

The "grilled" salmon was unfortunately a complete failure—totally greasy and watery. The chicken was okay, but nothing special. The sauces didn't taste as advertised, but rather watery. The "Steak House Fries" turned out to be just plain crinkle-cut fries with no seasoning. Overall, disappointing and not what you'd expect from the description.

We eat two grilled chickens with Rice noodles for two nights in a row. We just wanna say that we love this place and we're gonna come back. Big shout out to Mike, we love that man. BEST waiter of all Hamburg.

Amazing food, good price. Our server was a bit unprofessional; we ordered coffee with sushi and the server judged us “Coffee? With sushi?” We felt a bit embarrassed by that comment. But except for that, the other staff were super friendly and polite. And there is a sitting option inside or outside.

We absolutely love coming to Ricebrothers! If you arrive around noon, you can enjoy their delicious lunch menu — for 2 adults and 1 child we paid just €48. The service is outstanding, the food is always fresh, and the atmosphere makes you feel truly welcome. It’s one of those places you look forward to visiting again and again. Highly recommended!

We went to Rice Brothers today and we were blown away. The ambiance is beautifully designed and you just feel at home here. I'm always a bit wary of spicy food, but I received excellent advice and my request was enthusiastically accommodated. The food was very, very good and the value for money is really great. There were several of us couples, and while the women were still eating, the men's empty plates were already being cleared away. I don't know if it was because it was late or the staff were just getting ready to leave. In any case, we women couldn't finish our meals in a relaxed manner; that's not appropriate.
