Super delicious and super fresh. The bowls are incredibly varied, and you can simply taste the quality. The staff is incredibly friendly and you immediately feel at home. The price is absolutely right, too. For me, one of the best places in Hamburg if you're craving healthy yet really good food.

We went to this restaurant spontaneously at lunchtime, it was quiet and calm, lots of free tables. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, the atmosphere is definitely pleasant. The waitress is friendly and polite. We ordered a drink (6€), but there was more ice than drink. We also took a set of rolls (17€), they were fresh and very tasty. Fried chicken with rice noodles (17€) was tasty, but nothing special. I liked the sauce and vegetables. And the shrimp bowl (18€), quite a large portion. We would definitely come back here for the rolls.

The "grilled" salmon was unfortunately a complete failure—totally greasy and watery. The chicken was okay, but nothing special. The sauces didn't taste as advertised, but rather watery. The "Steak House Fries" turned out to be just plain crinkle-cut fries with no seasoning. Overall, disappointing and not what you'd expect from the description.

Spontaneously stopped in for a snack, very tasty and very friendly service

We eat two grilled chickens with Rice noodles for two nights in a row. We just wanna say that we love this place and we're gonna come back. Big shout out to Mike, we love that man. BEST waiter of all Hamburg.

Amazing food, good price. Our server was a bit unprofessional; we ordered coffee with sushi and the server judged us “Coffee? With sushi?” We felt a bit embarrassed by that comment. But except for that, the other staff were super friendly and polite. And there is a sitting option inside or outside.

Very tasty food. The waiter focused on providing the best customer service possible. We arrived shortly before closing time. When handing us the menu, the waiter immediately informed us that certain dishes were no longer available.

Always worth a visit. Great location, right in the Portuguese Quarter, and the sushi and other dishes are always top-notch. We'll be back!

We absolutely love coming to Ricebrothers! If you arrive around noon, you can enjoy their delicious lunch menu — for 2 adults and 1 child we paid just €48. The service is outstanding, the food is always fresh, and the atmosphere makes you feel truly welcome. It’s one of those places you look forward to visiting again and again. Highly recommended!

Delicious sushi, delicious curry - unfortunately we had to wait almost 40 minutes with children for 4 dishes.

The food was fantastic, and our daughter's special request was even accommodated. The waiter was a bit overwhelmed, having to take care of all the tables on his own.

We went to Rice Brothers today and we were blown away. The ambiance is beautifully designed and you just feel at home here. I'm always a bit wary of spicy food, but I received excellent advice and my request was enthusiastically accommodated. The food was very, very good and the value for money is really great. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back. Many thanks to the Rice Brothers team.

There were several of us couples, and while the women were still eating, the men's empty plates were already being cleared away. I don't know if it was because it was late or the staff were just getting ready to leave. In any case, we women couldn't finish our meals in a relaxed manner; that's not appropriate.

Nice ambiance, very friendly staff, but the food is somewhat bland. The pho, in particular, basically tasted like water. Many other Vietnamese restaurants in Hamburg serve better food.

We ate there last night. It was quite busy, and the service was quick and friendly. The plates all looked OK. My wife had rice with coconut. I had chicken with fries. Unfortunately, my meat wasn't cooked well, and I complained. The woman took the plate away immediately. A few minutes later, she came back and said I'd get a completely new plate. Shortly afterward, my plate arrived. They simply refried the meat. It tasted like it had been cooked twice. A fries soaked in sauce was still in there, and they just piled lettuce over the food to cover it up. Of course, it tasted like I'd reheated it the next day, and that's what it looked like, too. Thank you very much, and never again. That's not appropriate. And if you really need it, sorry, bad aftertaste.

We were passing through Hamburg and stopped for lunch. We had already been to Ricebrothers in the Portuguese Quarter a year ago, so we knew what to expect: authentic Vietnamese food, great service, and a pleasant atmosphere – we'd love to come back! The central location makes for a pleasant stroll along the Landungsbrücken (landing bridges).

Recommended! We visited this restaurant for the first time and were impressed. Located in the Portuguese Quarter, close to the harbor, it offers excellent Asian cuisine. The interior is attractive and cozy. You can eat inside or outside depending on the weather. The freshly made lemonades are recommended. The food is typical of an upscale restaurant and freshly prepared. We can expressly recommend the restaurant and wish you a pleasant stay in our hometown.

Bun bo nam bo highly recommended, and enough to fill you up. Pho with beef is also super tasty! The broth could have been a little more intense, but the amount of beef was more than adequate. I've never had the sides (lime, bean sprouts, chilli & mint) in such a large portion - highly recommended!!

First of all, the staff: Very arrogant and helpful! Super friendly. Now to eat un co: Maki Sushi combined with a hairy salad and a small pile of wasabi. A culinary delight. For me personally, one portion wasn't enough so I ordered more. And again we weren't disappointed. The water was also light and airy in consistency. In summary, one can say that the visit can be particularly worthwhile for weak eaters. More corpulent groups of people would also like it here, but a repeat order is absolutely necessary. Nice service and super delicious food!

We were happy to finally find a good Asian restaurant on Dietmar-Koel-Straße. We already knew Ricebrother from the ski jump. Unfortunately, the quality of the food was not convincing. The RiceNoodleBun was very ordinary and had no special highlights. From other bowls in other restaurants of this type, I know that the different ingredients and toppings give the dish its own touch. Normally nuts or fried onions crunch, but sometimes you have a highlight from a special sauce or fresh herbs... When we ate at Ricebrother, the entire bowl just tasted like one taste, everything was drowned in the same sauce and made the food overall very fresh and boring. Too bad! But 15.50 euros is a pretty steep price and even a 0.5 beer now costs 5.80 euros...unfortunately there was no sign of the advertised "extra cold" of the tap beer. Overall, a very average restaurant visit that doesn't require repeating. Interior is very successful.

Good Asian food... fast service and very pleasant staff...

After a quick visit to Miniatur Wunderland, we were looking for a quick place to grab a bite to eat. This was the right place. Very friendly staff, who also pointed out alternatives on the menu. Nice atmosphere! We didn't have to wait long for our food either. The food was very good and I highly recommend it. We'd be happy to come back next time we're in Hamburg.

Great restaurant, great location! Very friendly and funny staff, the food was delicious. The price-performance ratio is definitely right here. On our evening the toilets could have been a little cleaner but we are sure that this was certainly just an isolated incident. We'd love to come back!

Reservation for 7 people didn't work out, luckily there was still a free table after some back and forth. Drinks order not complete, food was quite good. Personally, too much surimi on the mixed sushi arrangements for me. Generally very loud, blaring music and unhygienic conditions in the bathroom.

Here you can find super authentic cuisine, Vietnamese coffee, summer rolls and delicious pho bo. The ambience is also harmonious. We had three different waitresses, all super friendly. At the end of the evening, the whole family sat together and served up whatever the kitchen had to offer. Thanks to the family for this great restaurant. If you ever move within Germany, please go to Mainz, as there is no such restaurant there.

Got a table on New Year's Eve without a reservation. Service was great and friendly, even though the restaurant was full. Food tasted great (seafood plate and mango curry). The Gin on Fire is also worth trying. Gladly again.

Perfectly sized portions. The food is extremely well seasoned, the ratio of various vegetables and meat is excellent. The atmosphere is pleasant and the staff is helpful. Definitely recommend this place.

Grilled chicken with fries. It wasn't my cup of tea. I also saw that friends served a lot of salad and not a lot of fish, even though the dish was described differently on the menu.
