A nice restaurant - especially the very charming service is fun. Atmosphere nice, but not exciting, more typical of a slightly better restaurant. Overall, I found the dishes a bit banal and not entirely convincing. No highlights in terms of taste, rather somewhat "intended" creations that don't quite work, such as: E.g. the excessively orange-heavy corn polarde breast with tasteless potatoes and vegetables as a side dish. A bit too expensive for that...

The trip from Göttingen - just to eat at a Lebanese restaurant - was once again worth it and will certainly be repeated

The service is nice and friendly, but especially when the house is full, the orders are a bit behind and sometimes something is forgotten. However, this only slightly spoils the overall impression. The food is exceptionally delicious and the staff is genuinely friendly. However, I don't find it very comfortable in the restaurant in the evening. Although you can tell they put a lot of effort into the furnishings, the seating just isn't my cup of tea. There is a bit of a lack of ambience to stay longer in the evening. But I like being here for lunch, especially outside when the weather is nice. The mix of good food and relaxed service makes it a good choice.

The food was excellent, as was the service! We ordered different menus. We were eating with a handicapped friend of ours and she was always adequately supported without being harassed, tricked, or anything like that. Thank you very much again! Allergies would be taken into account.

What a great restaurant! EVERYTHING is just right here! The starter variations were a hit, as were our main courses and, what can I say, the dessert was the “icing on the cake”. 🙏🤩🫶 What I recommend the most is the “Eggplant Casserole with Cinnamon Rice” AND the “Cheesecake Baklava Style” (sorry, I forgot what it was called on the menu😅). 🤤 The atmosphere was great and the service was very patient, friendly and courteous 🙏 Overall a very great evening, thank you very much for that!!! ❤️

Unfortunately the price is not justified as neither the food nor the service is particularly good. Main courses cost on average €22 and up without a side dish. Side dishes will then be charged extra.

Great restaurant with a lot of charm. It's very cozy inside, the garden terrace is nice and quiet (no traffic) and highly recommended in summer! The food is delicious! In my opinion, there are a bit too many dips in the mezze. There could perhaps be more vegetable variants or something similar. But overall the selection is very large and everything is very tasty and lovingly decorated. The main courses are generously portioned and the Lebanese wine goes perfectly with them. The service is very nice and attentive. A restaurant to feel good!

A culinary journey to Lebanon – Our evening at L’Orient Last night my girlfriend and I had the pleasure of dining at L’Orient in Hamburg and we were not disappointed. The restaurant offers fine Lebanese cuisine that pampers both the palate and the soul. We decided to try ten different mezzes from the a la carte menu, followed by a main course. Every single dish was a true taste experience. The variety and sophistication of the dishes reflect the love and care that went into their preparation. The fresh ingredients and authentic Middle Eastern flavors took us on a culinary journey that we won't soon forget. We would particularly like to highlight the service, which rounded off our evening perfectly. Youssef, our waiter, was extremely polite and accommodating. We were very impressed by his charming manner and his in-depth knowledge of Lebanese cuisine and the wines on offer. He made a significant contribution to making us feel completely comfortable. A special highlight was the dessert that was served to us on the house. This gesture touched us very much and once again showed the generosity and hospitality of the house. Of course, we honored this sign of appreciation with a corresponding tip. The ambience of L’Orient is equally remarkable. It exudes a warm and inviting atmosphere, which is supported by the stylish furnishings and pleasant lighting. Here you can sit back, relax and enjoy the evening to the fullest. Not to be forgotten are the exquisite Lebanese wines, which go perfectly with the food and round off the culinary experience perfectly. The wine list offers a carefully curated selection that will satisfy even the most discerning palate. In summary, we can only warmly recommend L’Orient in Hamburg. The exquisite cuisine, outstanding service and welcoming atmosphere make it an absolute must for lovers of Lebanese cuisine. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

Simply WOW!!! If there were 6 stars, you would definitely get them. Very stylishly decorated restaurant with a great ambience. The service is not only friendly and entertaining, but also proactive. Here not only food is served with a lot of passion, but also the whole Lebanese culture is breathed into it. You can feel this from the service to the chef. The employees are wholeheartedly involved and work together. Only in a team can something like this be created. The food is of course great, the taste of the vegetarian dishes is also great. The fish didn't even need lemon, the sauce was so good. The mocha coffee was also incredibly good and the homemade cinnamon ice cream was the crowning glory. Thank you for the wonderful evening. A nice welcome right from the start. Very friendly staff. There were four of us and we chose 10 different starters based on recommendations. Before that there was the typical flatbread with olive oil and zaatar. We had to take two glasses home with us. The main courses were very varied and everything was very tasty. A dessert came as a surprise. We were all thrilled and would happily recommend the restaurant.

Very nice restaurant, with incredible service. The falafel is amazingly delicious, and I would recommend ordering the taste menu to try many different flavors. My main dish (lamb sticks) was not fully satisfying, but that was because I am used to a different lamb flavor.

We celebrated my mother's 80th birthday here. The food was top. The service too. And the people were in a really good mood. What you were able to enjoy again with the serenade of the staff. All in all super good.

One of my favorite shops! Top food, especially in the evening. When it comes to lunch, you have to be a bit lucky to get the right taste - but apart from that, you've had a very good experience. Mega courteous service, spices and flavors that you don't necessarily know from European cuisine and that's why it's a very special shop in Ottensen. Syrian red wine is also a poem!

That was my second visit. My absolute highlight both times was the preview mix. Every bowl is delicious differently. The main course was also good, something striking with three different types of meat on a skewer. Overall we had a very nice evening. There was even a delicious dessert with a candle to mark the birthday.

We recommend! It was incredibly tasty and the service was great. We learned a lot about the background of the dishes and were able to try the Lebanese coffee. This was definitely not our last visit - we are in love! Thank you very much for the unforgettable evening

So far everything was great with food and service. Only the corona-made partition walls disturb the ambience. There are certainly better and nicer looking ideas for suitable partition walls if you want them.

Starters only in conjunction with main courses - a compulsion! It simply cannot be the case that a guest who is not very hungry is not allowed to order a starter without a main course. Upon request, my companion and I were recommended a starter (mazza) as the main course for 17.90 euros. But if you're not into meat, it's not an option! Because the main course in the matzah is a lot of meat. In addition, if you are slightly hungry, one main course is definitely too much. For me it's just a money-making thing. The main courses sound very good, but cost accordingly. A clear no from me to the restaurant - what a shame! Update: February 2024 False arguments are being used to try to delete negative reviews. I also just received the following “complaint” via Google: “There is no business relationship with the Google user Shankho M. It is probably a fake name.
