Highly recommended. We've been there twice now. Very, very tasty food at reasonable prices. Excellent service. Some of the best Vietnamese food we've had so far!

When we went, it took quite a while for our order to arrive because of the meals prepared for a large group. The chicken bowl and the rindfleisch teriyaki were average in taste. We’ve definitely had much better before. The chicken bowl had an overly artificial lemon flavor that was too strong. However, it was a filling plate.

Our friends recommended this place to us. They said that it has the most delicious bowls. And it was true. The Curry Bowl has a lot of sauce and a lot of shrimp. The fish is fried deliciously. The dishes are beautifully decorated. I would especially like to mention the waiter who speaks 5 languages. He was very attentive and courteous. The interior is a bit simple. The interior lacked a bit of Vietnamese styling. I would like to see photos or paintings of beautiful landscapes of the country of Vietnam.

The ambiance is modern and cozy, with a cozy Vietnamese touch – ideal for a quick, relaxed meal in a casual atmosphere. 🌿 Taste: The Pho (beef and chicken soup) was excellent – ​​clear, aromatic broth, plenty of fresh vegetables, tender noodles, and perfectly cooked meat. The Banh Mi (traditional sandwiches) are also great: crispy baguette, juicy filling, and spicy flavor. 🍽️ Selection & Quality: The menu offers a good selection – soups, rice and noodle dishes, vegan options, and delicious extras like spring rolls and bubble tea. Everything seemed freshly prepared and of high quality. ⏱️ Service: The service was prompt, friendly, and attentive. You felt welcome and well advised. 💰 Value for money: Absolutely reasonable considering the quality and portions. It's not fast food, but the prices are in a similar range – definitely fair. 👍 Conclusion: VietBowl is a great place if you're craving authentic Vietnamese cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere. Amazing food! The place is extremely cozy with a nice vibe, really cool for a date or enjoy with friends. I ordered the coconut curry noodle with duck, and a spring break to brink. I got the food really quick. Amazing place to go if you are nearby.

VietBowl in Hamburg impresses with an impressively diverse menu that appeals to both lovers of classic Vietnamese cuisine and vegans alike. Particularly noteworthy is the large selection of plant-based dishes, which are creatively and deliciously executed. However, it is noticeable that the prices for purely vegetable-based dishes are quite high in relation to the cost of the goods – a somewhat fairer price-performance ratio would be desirable here. Another issue is the acoustics: Since it's a single, open dining room, the noise level rises considerably once the restaurant is busy. This can unfortunately somewhat detract from the ambiance. Despite these minor drawbacks, the staff remains a real plus – friendly, attentive, and accommodating. Overall, this is a place you'll gladly visit again, especially if you're looking for delicious Vietnamese food and vegan options.

The serving is not like in Vietnam or Cambodia. The salad was sour and salty. The noodle texture was not well cooked enough. Less bean spout and herb. They missed one of my order.

Typical shop in the city center with a typical Asian atmosphere. It's nice that there are also large tables. The service is extremely friendly and pleasant. The dishes are presented very nicely and are passable. The taste is pretty average for me. Prices are reasonable for the location.

They will reply to email when you leave bad review. AVOID if you can! They have lots of staff running around, and the process is smooth and fast which starts from throwing off menu and cutlery, to asking for tips without even a smile... Food was quite normal, slightly pricey as not much meet you can enjoy in each cuisine.

Large portions for a good price. The food is very tasty. The Viet Bowl will be on our list again on our next visit to Hamburg.

The restaurant basically has potential. The service was very friendly and accommodating, which made the visit overall pleasant. Unfortunately, there was a slight smell in the room during our visit, which was somewhat reminiscent of a toilet, which spoiled the ambience somewhat. The food itself tasted very good, but the portions were rather small. Especially with the Pho, the bowl was shaped quite awkwardly, making it difficult to eat all of the contents easily. Overall, a nice visit with room for improvement.

I ordered the beef viet bowl from Uber eats two times and it was amazing I really loved it it was warm fresh and perfectly cooked , definitely recommended it .

Wanted to make a small break from herman cousin :) Came across a Vietnamese restaurant without searching for one as it just crossed our way. Inside was full of people, and you can feel the asian tempo in the air. Decided to try the tuna noodle ball. Nice portion, even for two, not hungry people. Very beautiful representation of all ingredients. Sauce was a little salty, yet this is the effect of soy sauce. great. Value for money good

For dessert, the ice cream with mango was refreshing and well-balanced, not too sweet and nicely presented. However, the main course—Pho Soja—was a bit of a letdown. The dish was overwhelmingly loaded with soy, which overpowered the other flavors, and the consistency leaned more toward a thin soup rather than a satisfying, hearty main dish. It lacked the depth and balance typically expected from a pho. In summary: • Food: 3/5 – some hits, some misses • Service: 4/5 – attentive and polite staff • Atmosphere: 4/5 – relaxed and clean interior with a comfortable vibe Viet Bowl is still worth a visit, especially for a light meal or small plates, but there’s room for improvement in the main course execution.

One of the best places we went to during our trip to Hamburg, really good service, nice atmosphere, great menu with lots of choice. We shared summer rolls and edamame for starter and these were tasty, then I had prawn noodles and my partner had duck curry, both were delicious.

SCAM!! The menu says one price but they charge you 20% more and say “sorry, new price” They give you a menu in German with a QR code for the menu in English. You pick your food, and when they bring you the bill every item is 2 euros more expensive (and some even more). Then the waitresses explain that they changed the price recently but they forgot to change the online menu. When explained that I understand but still expected to be charged the prices I saw on their menu, they tell you that if they do the proper discount the owner will deduct it from their pay. So, to avoid being a bad person you accept the scam and pay the “new” price, around 20% extra than what they showed before.

Chicken with noodles (81) and chicken with rice (101?). Both were so good in terms of taste and consistency that we wanted to highlight them here. In addition, friendly service, only a short waiting time and overall inexpensive => all in all a thumbs up. - gladly again.

I've been coming here regularly for 2 years and have never been disappointed. The food is extremely tasty every time. You definitely have a great evening here with a good atmosphere.

We enjoyed the food very much. Especially the dessert. Tasted a bit like apple strudel. Personally, I don't think the atmosphere is that great. The tables are too close together. When the store is full, it's just too loud and you're basically sitting on each other's laps. But I would still like to eat there again. :) The price is a bit higher, but unfortunately it's now somewhat standard for Hamburg.

The dishes are very tasty and the portions are filling. The staff is extremely friendly and reserved. However, after eating you are left with more steam than the vegetables themselves, due to the open kitchen. It's worth it, but if you still have something (formal) to do afterwards, you should take this into account.

After asking, we were even recommended to eat because we were unsure what we wanted to eat. Everything was polite and quick. Simply furnished, a bit small. Everything was very tasty, starter and lunch. The prices for what you get are really good in comparison for Vietnamese food.

Bad boring shabby food. The service was really bad. When I told the food was bad and big pieces of salad in a hot dish - which was cold?!?! Did he just say now? And when he said he wanted to tell the chef, instead he went to another waiter and laughed. The mango lassi was good - but I wonder if it is in other places too. Unfortunately, food was just okay. The takoyaki was from the freezer and the beef from the bowl was burnt. My partner's chicken was ok. The waiters were quick and efficient and we didn't have to wait long for our food. Visually it was also quite impressive.

A place that cooks great duck. If you like rice noodles, this is a Vietnamese restaurant you should definitely give a try. There is also Tiger, an Asian beer, it tastes delicious. In general, the employees were polite and attentive, the food came very quickly. The design of the place is very nice, you can sit and chat with pleasure. We can say that it is the best Vietnamese restaurant we went to in Hamburg.

The experience started on a slightly awkward note with the front-of-house staff. Both ladies were not very welcoming, and perhaps due to a language barrier, one of them assumed I didn’t have a reservation without even checking. That said once seated I had the best waiter I could ask for! the food was absolutely outstanding. The tartare and fillet were exceptional, and the wine selection was impressive. The sommelier and the waiter truly elevated the experience. The sommelier was friendly and highly knowledgeable, while the waiter was clearly passionate about his work and delivered impeccable service. Their professionalism more than made up for the initial hiccup with the reception staff. Overall Food AMAZING, service AMAZING. I will go back when I am next in Hamburg. Thank you
