Mittagsgtisch (Rindfleisch mit Reis) war nicht so doll. Sauce etwas wässrig, Gemüse matschig und Reis etwas hart. Service war sehr freundlich, musste zwei Mal nach der Rechnung fragen. Einrichtung neu und asiatisch-gemütlich mit Außenbereich

Ich liebe dieses Restaurant, weil das Team echt super freundlich und aufmerksam ist. Kein geteiltes "Nettsein". Riesenportionen zum fairen Preis. Auf jeden Fall ausprobieren... Daumen hoch

Ich habe vietnamesische Currys mit Reis, Hühnchengerichte und Nong-Kaffee probiert. Alles war frisch und lecker. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder, wenn ich mal wieder in Hamburg bin.

Super leckeres vietnamesischen Essen mit extrem viel Auswahl. Cocktail Happy Hour für 8€. Essen wirklich sehr gut und nicht überteuert. Schönes Ambiente, Service hätte etwas besser sein können aber es war sehr voll Samstag Abend.

Die schmackhaft Speisen sind hier wie gewohnt schnell und sehr schön angerichtet auf dem Tisch. Leider kommt es vom Ambiente aufgrund der Größe nicht ganz an das L'Quan in Wandsbek heran und die Servicefee sprach leider sehr schlecht deutsch weswegen die Verständigung etwas hakelig war. Fazit: außerhalb der Stoßzeiten gerne wieder!

Sehr enttäuschend und das letzte Mal bestellt. Portionen werden immer kleiner (angeblich Nudeln 100g - ok, Aussage wird vorportioniert), wenn aber auch das Hühnerfleisch komplett fehlt und kaum Gemüse dabei ist, ist der Preis von knapp 15 € eine Frecheit. Zudem fehlt auch die scharfe Soße für das Beef Onion, was als ehemaliger Stammkunde sofort auffällt. Bei Reklamation keinerlei Entgegenkommen oder Einsicht, für den Preis gibt es in Barmbek viele sympathische und ehrliche Restaurants. Anscheinend kennt man nicht die eigenen Gerichte, 23b ist mit Huhn und Gemüse - Danke für den letzten Besuch und die Einsicht, hier ist man nicht an Service und Zufriedenheit interessiert.

Leckeres Essen in einem ansprechenden Ambiente mit ausgesprochen freundlicher Belegschaft.

Ich habe hier schon oft gegessen und war immer zufrieden. Allerdings hatte ich in den letzten beiden Fällen (Oktober 2025 und Mai 2026) einige Stunden nach dem Essen Magenbeschwerden. Ich weiß, dass es nicht an einer Lebensmittelunverträglichkeit liegt, da ich schon öfter im L'Quan und anderen asiatischen Restaurants gegessen habe und es mir gut ging. Irgendetwas muss sich an der Qualität des Essens geändert haben, und das ist sehr enttäuschend. :( Ich wäre Ihnen sehr dankbar, wenn mir die Geschäftsleitung mitteilen würde, wie wir das Problem lösen können.

Man sollte Gutes loben, Schlechtes offen kundtun. 1. Service war bemüht, klang nett, Tisch wurde gezeigt. 2.Bei der Frage (aus schlechter Erfahrung anderswo)fragte ich b.d.Bestellung direkt nach dem Preis für "Glas nur heißes Wasser". Sie sagte, ist schon ok+ging weg. Bei der Rechnung zeigte sich versteckt doch der Preis für einen kompletten Tee (der nicht gerade wenig kostete).Das ist Kundentäuschung. Es wäre kein Problem gewesen,transparent zu sein+einen Betrag zu nennen.Aber teuer überrascht zu werden ist,ist sehr enttäuschend. 3. Beide gerichte waren sehr pfad, nach würzen brachte nicht viel, kaum Sosse dabei gewesen. Sehr schade.ich war schon mal da und das hatte viel besseren eindruck+Geschmack hinterlassen, als jetzt.TOTALE ENTTÄUSCHUNG. Schade!

Bisher durch TooGoodToGo kennengelernt und dort gute Erfahrungen gehabt - der Laden sieht von außen immer gut gefüllt aus und das Ambiente ist top.

Die Bedienung ist unglaublich unfreundlich und frech. Wie man so mit Kunden umgehen kann werde ich nie verstehen. Nie wieder.

Ich komme regelmäßig hierher und bin jedes Mal aufs Neue begeistert! Obwohl es immer voll ist, wird man extrem schnell bedient – das Team ist perfekt eingespielt. Qualitativ bewegt sich das Essen auf höchstem Niveau, und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist einfach optimal. Besonders toll finde ich, dass das Restaurant für jede Gruppengröße geeignet ist: Egal ob man alleine kommt, zu zweit oder mit einer Gruppe von mehr als zehn Personen – man fühlt sich immer bestens aufgehoben. Die super netten Kellner nehmen sich trotz des Trubels Zeit für einen, was eine tolle Atmosphäre schafft. Es wird hier nie langweilig und ich freue mich jedes Mal wieder auf meinen Besuch. Ein großes Dankeschön an das ganze Team!

Ich war zum ersten Mal dort. Die Räumlichkeiten bieten ein gemütliches Ambiente. Wir sind zu zweit auf einem Donnerstagabend, ohne Reservierung kurz nach halb Sieben dort gewesen. Kurze Wartezeit, doch wir bekamen einen Tisch. Personal war freundlich, das Gericht sehr lecker. Ich hatte den hausgemachten L'Quan Eistee, Mango Garnelenl sowie als Dessert gebackene Bananen mit Honig und einer Kugel Eis. 🤤 Fazit: köstlich klingende Gerichte, die unbedingt weiter getestet werden müssen. Freue mich bereits auf den nächsten Besuch dort. 😊

Wir waren leider enttäuscht von diesem Restaurant. Das Positive: gut zu erreichen durch zentrale Lage, Ambiente nett, grosse Auswahl, Getränke waren lecker. Das Negative: falsches Essen bekommen, dann Korrektur aber es dauerte sehr lange, sodass mein Essen kam, als meine Begleitung bereits fertig war, Portionen ok aber im Verhältnis zu anderen Restaurants eher kleiner. Kulinarische Erfahrung so lala. Als Highlight war unser Nachtisch verdorben und schmeckte bzw roch extrem unangenehm, keine Entschuldigung/Wiedergutmachung oä, immerhin mussten wir nicht darüber diskutieren, dass dieses auch wieder von der Rechnung genommen wird. Wir waren enttäuscht und möchten nicht wiederkommen.

Ich kam am Freitagnachmittag in Hamburg an, um am Wochenende zwei Vorträge zu halten. Da es regnete, beschloss ich, früh zu Abend zu essen (17:30 Uhr) und mich dann ins Hotel zurückzuziehen, um die Trockenheit und einen ruhigen Abend mit Filmen zu genießen. Bei dem kalten Wetter hatte ich Lust auf etwas Warmes und Wohltuendes – am liebsten Suppe. Umso mehr freute ich mich, dieses moderne vietnamesische Restaurant nur wenige Gehminuten von meinem Hotel entfernt zu entdecken. Ich betrat es um 17:30 Uhr und war etwas besorgt, dass der Abendbetrieb vielleicht noch nicht begonnen hatte. Zu meiner Überraschung wurde bereits Abendessen serviert, und das Restaurant war angenehm gut besucht von den frühen Gästen. Ich bestellte die traditionelle Pho mit Rindfleisch. Sie war absolut köstlich – die reichhaltige, aromatische Brühe war genau das, was ich mir an einem kühlen, regnerischen Freitagabend erhofft hatte. Die Pho wurde mit frittiertem Teig (Youtiao) serviert. Ich hatte noch nie frittierten Teig zu Pho gegessen und war mir daher nicht ganz sicher, wie man ihn isst. Ich machte ein Foto von dem Gericht und fragte ChatGPT. Diese Kombination ist in der vietnamesischen Küche offenbar sehr beliebt. ChatGPT schlug verschiedene Zubereitungsmöglichkeiten vor, und ich entschied mich, den frittierten Teig in die Pho-Brühe zu tunken. Es schmeckte hervorragend – der Teig saugte die Brühe auf und war einfach köstlich. Absolut empfehlenswert für alle, die authentische vietnamesische Küche in einem stilvollen und einladenden Ambiente suchen.

Sehr lecker, die Reis Portion könnte minimal größer sein. Ansonsten top.

Unkompliziert und sehr freundlicher aufmerksamer Service

Ich gehe hier mindestens einmal im Monat essen und bin jedes Mal begeistert. Das Essen ist immer sehr lecker, das Personal stets freundlich und aufmerksam. Der Laden ist sauber und gepflegt, und die Stimmung ist einfach toll. Man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Für mich ein Ort, an den man immer wieder gerne zurückkommt absolute Empfehlung!

Hübscher Laden, aber viel Deko. Vier Sterne Abzug, weil immer wieder Sand im Essen ist und Sachen, die man nicht essen möchte trotzdem rein gemacht werden. Champions in der Wantansuppe nicht gut gewaschen, die Pilze mit schwarzer Erde drauf im Essen, ähnlich auch regelmäßig im Salat. Schade eigentlich, damit wird das Genusserlebnis deutlich getrübt, weil sonst wäre es perfekt.

Wir haben an einem Sonntagabend mit Glück auch ohne Reservierung zu fünft noch gut Platz gefunden, würden aber eine Reservierung empfehlen. Das Essen war lecker und der Service freundlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Sehr lecker und sehr zu empfehlen - das sage ich als jemand, der mit asiatischen Essen eigentlich nicht so viel anfangen kann. Preislich im Rahmen, was will man mehr. Man hatte uns 15min vergessen mit der Vorspeise. Der Kellner hat sich entschuldigt und uns prompt eine sehr leckere Limetten Limonade aufs Haus spendiert. So geht Service!

Super Laden. Essen und Service einfach Spitze.

Das Serviceteam war großartig, sehr aufmerksam, zuvorkommend und freundlich. Die hausgemachte Chilisauce könnte für meinen Geschmack etwas schärfer sein. Das Essen ist in Ordnung, nicht unbedingt authentisch, aber gut für ein ungezwungenes Abendessen. Wenn Sie asiatisches Essen suchen, das nicht zu scharf ist (wie manche es mögen), unkomplizierte Cocktails und eine entspannte Atmosphäre, dann sind Sie hier genau richtig.

Der Lachs, den ich gegessen habe, schmeckte sehr gut, die gemischten Pommes etwas zu weich. Der Service war aufmerksam. Ambiente schön aber zu eng gestellt. Es war an dem Abend bis auf den letzten Platz besetzt und dadurch unruhig und laut. Trotzdem ein angenehmer Abend und Restaurantbesuch.

Essen finde ich sehr inspiriert und langweilig. Was mich wirklich aber geärgert hat war, dass man die Sommerrollen in Plastikfolie eingewickelt hat 🤯 Habt ihr mal selbst probiert die wieder zu entpacken?! Auf was für Ideen manche Leute kommen...Am Ende war ich mir nicht sicher, ob ich noch Plastikfetzen mit gegessen habe 🤢 Waren aber eh nicht so dolle...

When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed, and even though we came without a reservation, they said they could find a table for us. If we didn't understand something on the menu, they explained it very nicely.

A very nice restaurant with exceptional Asian dishes.

This was my first time at this restaurant. The atmosphere is really nice and pleasant. We met there for lunch after our meeting. The staff was fine. I had the XAO dish with teriyaki sauce. Next time, however, I would recommend it with curry; it tastes much better. Overall, the food was good quality, and the price-performance ratio was absolutely reasonable. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

We were here with a small group and had a really great meal. The food arrived quickly and tasted fantastic. We deducted one star for the ambiance because the natural-looking wooden tables created quite a difference in the distance between the seats and the table, which was a bit distracting.

A very nice shop in Barmbek, the food was delicious! The gyoza 🥟 is highly recommended. The halal meat was a real treat. The service was excellent; everyone was very friendly and attentive. The homemade drinks are highly recommended. The decor is very nice. We will definitely be back.

The food at L'Quán Barmbek is really good; there's nothing to complain about. Unfortunately, the same can't be said for the service. The atmosphere among the team often seems irritable, you rarely receive a friendly greeting, and you don't really feel welcome. On our last visit, we were allowed to sit down, but were then sent away because the table was supposedly reserved – without any sign. That should really be a given. It's a shame, because the food is excellent, but the unfriendly service quickly puts you off the desire to return.

I've eaten at L'Quán Barmbek several times because the food is truly delicious. Unfortunately, the service has been unfriendly every time. You often feel like you're not truly welcome, but rather tolerated or even a nuisance. Friendliness and attentiveness are almost always lacking, no matter how busy it is. Furthermore, you're sometimes only informed late that a table is reserved – a simple "reserved" sign could easily prevent such situations. I've already addressed this personally, but unfortunately, nothing has changed. Conclusion: The food is excellent, but the unfriendly service always spoils the overall experience. It's a shame, because with a little more warmth, the restaurant has great potential.

I've never been to a restaurant before, but I've had the food many times at home. The quality is consistently good. The spring rolls were missing from my order once, but otherwise, I've never had any complaints. Very good food, clearly a step above other Asian restaurants.

We ate here two days in a row and tried different things. Polite and good service. Good food. Freshly prepared. Served quickly. A good place worth visiting.

Great food, terrible service. We didn't have a reservation, and they asked if we had one, and we said no. The waiter told us we could sit anywhere. We sat at the table we had chosen for about 10 minutes, then we wanted to order. The waiter came over, and another waiter came over and rudely told us we had to move because we didn't have a reservation. Which I think is very cheeky.

The food was cold, raw, and seemed old—as if it had been sitting for ages. Absolutely disappointing. For me, it was the last time. I was at your restaurant on July 10, 2025. We ordered two dishes. Firstly, these dishes were cold, which of course shouldn't happen! Secondly, the chicken was not appetizing and the texture was rubbery. These two things really ruined our experience! We then explained to the waiter that the food was anything but what we expected. The response: "I'll pass it on to the chef." How can this answer help us as customers? We would have wished for something different at this point! May I also please ask why you accuse me of not having been there? Or, more precisely, of faking something? The service was good, but especially for the price, I'm used to better service!

A nice restaurant but unfortunately my food was not so warm I have been to other L Quan and there the food was much better and I find it very expensive

My girlfriend and I went there today to round off our Hamburg trip. I was looking for a restaurant with a nice atmosphere near our hotel. And that's how I came across L'Quán. And it was more than good! We were very pleasantly surprised. The service was friendly and prompt. The ambiance was also fantastic. And most importantly, the food, surprised us even more. It was simply fantastic. The ingredients were fresh, super delicious, and served stylishly! We also had cocktails that were truly amazing, both visually and tastefully. We were extremely satisfied, and that's what prompted me to write this positive review. So keep up the good work, and if we're in the area again, we'll be happy to come back. I opted for the M3 lunch menu, which delighted me with its delicious red curry. The curry was slightly spicy but perfectly balanced, with an abundance of fresh vegetables, tender chicken, and wonderfully chewy udon noodles. Every bite was a taste experience so delicious that I could hardly stop eating! My sweetheart chose a tofu bowl, which was also very good. A fresh salad and crispy spring rolls were included beforehand, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The atmosphere in the restaurant is truly cozy. The service was friendly and attentive; you can tell they put their heart and soul into their work. You rarely find such quality in a shopping center! Value for money? Absolutely top-notch! For what you get, the price is more than fair. Although I'm not from the area, I will definitely return and can recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic, delicious Asian cuisine.

Even though the food was delicious, we saw a mouse running through the restaurant as we were leaving. The staff's reaction was surprisingly indifferent...it probably wasn't the first time. 🐁

We ordered the mixed starter for two people. It came with a large plate of 50% fries and something resembling fried air. Definitely not Vietnamese and not tasty. Cheap filling material. The main course of vegetables with tofu was okay. Service and atmosphere were pleasant. Overall, average.

I've been to L'quan several times, but in Norderstedt. The food tastes very good and is also beautifully presented. But the price-performance ratio is desirable. You won't feel full without an appetizer. I was very disappointed on my visit to Barmbek; I felt ripped off. I had to pay double the price for my pasta because I opted for salmon. I didn't mention it when I ordered, as the extra charge wasn't indicated anywhere on the menu. The waitress agreed, but only so we wouldn't discuss it any further. There was no concession or anything like that. A real shame!

We ordered from l quan. The food wasn't worth the money. The crispy duck was tough and soaked with fat, as if it had been left over from the day before. The mango dish didn't use any fresh mango, and the rice was okay, but there was a strange amount of yellow saffron rice in between. The edamame didn't come with salt as ordered, but with chili sauce. They were poor quality and tasted strange. Far too expensive for poor quality.

We found it wonderful, as we generally love Asian cuisine. The Vietnamese iced coffee is simply delicious. The black sticky rice for dessert was fantastic.

I ordered, and 3 minutes later the food was on the table. 😇 Very tasty, come by.

Here you can get upscale Asian/Vietnamese dishes that are very well prepared – at what I consider a reasonable price. The service is fast and good; the location is very well situated.

The service was abysmal; we were served by four different people, and the food didn't arrive at the same time. The taste was okay, but the portions were quite small. The peanut sauce with the rice and tofu were spoiled, and the evening ended accordingly.

We were in the restaurant as part of a bachelorette party with a group of 17 people. I made the reservation personally over the phone - early on and with a clear understanding that we would like to sit together. However, on the day of the visit it was claimed that there was no reservation. This was not only surprising, but very annoying, because I had definitely called the official number listed on Google or the website and was assured that the tables would be put together accordingly. Luckily the restaurant was empty when we arrived, so we still found space. However, the staff was mostly unfriendly and didn't seem to be trying hard. Particularly annoying: When we asked if we could put the tables together for our large group, this was initially refused. Only a second waiter later agreed to this - but no one wanted to help. I would like to positively highlight the food and drinks - both were really tasty and mostly came at the same time. However, a drink was not delivered, but was still charged in the end. Unfortunately we noticed this too late. Overall, the quality of the food was good, but the behavior of the staff was unprofessional - especially when dealing with a reservation that had obviously been made correctly. I would therefore not recommend the restaurant for a special occasion.

Can absolutely recommend this restaurant in Barmbek! Food and service great; However, the background noise is enormous! Maybe because there was a huge rush today. I recommend table reservations.

The food is delicious at fair prices. The cocktails aren't run-of-the-mill, but are made with love. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is that we once waited 40 minutes for an iced tea and then 20 minutes for a Cobra Libre. To be fair, though, we were here on a Friday evening during rush hour.

We were completely satisfied. The service was very friendly and quick. The food (specials tofu luc lac & chicken cashew) and homemade drinks (mango lassi & pink dragon) were very tasty.
