I really enjoyed the food. Prices were OK. Staff were very friendly. Right next door, you can buy fish sandwiches and fresh fish. I got the smoked salmon, which was incredibly good. The other fish also looked very fresh and delicious. I highly recommend it; we were just passing through, so we only went there once.

Super friendly welcome and service, cod and halibut perfectly cooked, appetizingly presented – simply delicious! Plus, the view of the harbor. A perfect first evening of vacation!

This was our second time eating at the Ribnitz Fish Harbor. The first time was by chance, and the second time we came all the way from Graal-Müritz to enjoy delicious, freshly prepared fish with crispy side dishes. The staff was very attentive, especially Yussuf (we asked for his name), who went above and beyond. Fresh water was provided for our dog, and a dog that arrived after us received the same service. There's nothing negative to say, and if we're in the area, we'll definitely come back.

Unfortunately, it's very, very unfriendly. At the accompanying "food truck," you'll get a good dressing down if you have the wrong request for a takeaway fish sandwich. We continued to avoid this atmosphere during our vacation, which led us to very hospitable restaurants. That's why we gave it one star!

We actually wanted to go there with the whole family for dinner. However, the family also has a small, quiet dog. Apparently, he's not allowed to lie under the table there, and I don't understand why. So we were asked to leave. So, no family visit, so we had to find another restaurant.

I was there yesterday with my children. When we sat down, I hurt myself on the chair because a nail was sticking out of the backrest. I didn't say anything, but bent the nail away with my key. The waiter came, I greeted him politely, but there was no reply. Only when he came to the table the second time did he greet us and seemed relaxed and friendly. The food (pollock fillet, fried potatoes) tasted okay. The fried potatoes were made with bacon, which isn't listed on the menu. Annoying for people who don't like meat, pork, or bacon. We didn't say anything and left the bacon aside. I ordered a children's portion of fish and chips for my 5-year-old daughter. The plate came with just three small fish balls and ketchup. Instead, there were some fries. Since my daughter wanted mayonnaise (she hadn't been asked beforehand), I thought I'd just ask if the amount of fish was correct, because there really was very little. The supposed boss came to our table. I politely asked for mayonnaise. He turned around, didn't reply, got mayonnaise, and placed it on the table. He ignored me calling after him. When I then asked him if the amount was correct, he shouted across the restaurant to the chef, repeating me word for word. He didn't even look at me and seemed very annoyed and arrogant. He then simply left without addressing the matter, and I told him that I thought there was too little fish. Again, he shouted at the chef and walked away. I don't understand this childish behavior. My children and I want to go out for a nice, delicious meal, and the chef completely ruined it for us. There was no reason to treat us like this. How can you humiliate your customers like this?

The food here is great; the zander was truly delicious. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

It was incredibly delicious – especially the remoulade, which I've rarely tasted. The fish was also perfect, fresh, and perfectly prepared. Everything was homemade, from the mashed potatoes to the cucumber salad and beetroot – nothing pre-made, but lovingly prepared. You can tell that quality is really important here. A little wink: The Aperol glass could be a bit bigger next time 😉. All in all, a fantastic experience – we'd definitely love to come back!

For several years now, it has become a must for us to eat delicious fish there or take it with us when on vacation.

After a very positive first visit, we returned full of anticipation. Last time, we had agreed with the waiter that we would have a nice table by the window on our next visit. It was supposed to be Thursday – we were already on our way there when the owner intervened and refused us that table without any comprehensible explanation. The alternatives offered were the complete opposite of the agreed-upon table in terms of location and atmosphere. Even the waiter seemed to find the situation uncomfortable. Disappointed, we decided to leave the restaurant and eat elsewhere. On the way back, we found that the agreed-upon table was still free. Such a shame – you lose guests who would have loved to come back.

Well, the fresh smoked fish here is incredibly delicious, everything is clean, and the staff is very friendly. Everything in the display looks very appealing and inviting.

Regarding the snack bar: Until now, fish cakes have had a rather shameful existence in my culinary register. But then: The Ribnitzer Fischhafen snack bar. Fish meatballs in a bun. Hot Udo fried until crispy. Juicy inside. The remoulade is hand-chopped and finely seasoned. A dream. Five stars.

A great restaurant – always busy. We're frequent guests. However, and this is the reason for this review... yesterday, the women's restroom was not a hygienic place – it smelled strongly of sewage and uncleanliness. I'd already noticed the need for renovation. And unfortunately, in the three years I've been coming here, no changes have been made. Yesterday was the highlight. The inside of the restroom door is dirty and has been painted over in a few places. Given the turnover, this is certainly something that could be improved. The food and service are always exceptionally good.
