Beautiful restaurant with excellent fish dishes and great service! Especially the Baltic Sea flounder fillet stuffed with smoked salmon… Damn delicious!

A huge amount of civilian and military technology is on display. There's also a ride-along or self-drive obstacle course. The grounds are spacious. During our visit, there was also a barbecue stand. Entry is cash only; no card or mobile payments are accepted.

In my opinion, this is where you can find the best fish sandwiches on the Darß. There are now plenty of outdoor seating areas, for example for cyclists, but there's also a restaurant and a small fish shop where you can buy the delicacies to take home.

We bought something from the self-service fish shop next door, and it was incredibly delicious. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Great team 😍

We only went to the snack bar, but we had the best fish sandwiches we've ever had. Plenty of fish, a crisp, fresh roll with salad, cucumber slices, and onions. Highly recommended.

The original fish soups in a glass were super delicious. Then there was the plaice fillet, two kinds of local specialties, and a herring variation, absolutely delicious. Overall, highly recommended. Thanks also to the chef, well done! Tip: Always pre-order. Visited again on May 19, 2025, for my birthday, and it was truly an experience again. Thank you to all the staff.

A year ago, we were very satisfied; last week, we overpaid for food that was more like takeaway quality. Frozen fish and chips, fried potatoes simply tossed in oil; even the waitress was embarrassed.

This fish restaurant is absolutely fantastic. No matter what kind of fish you choose, everything is prepared and served with passion. Yesterday wasn't our first time there, and every guest is given a warm welcome. We had zander with asparagus and potatoes, and plaice; it was truly a delight. The atmosphere is cozy, and the large glass walls offer a wonderful view of the water. A big thank you to the chef, Jan, and the service staff, even though it was quite busy at lunchtime. We highly recommend this fish restaurant and the shop next door, and we'll be back.

We passed this restaurant on the way to the sculpture “The Circus is Coming to Town” not far from the restaurant. In any case, early on Sunday afternoon there were quite a few people standing in front of the sales van waiting for their fish sandwiches. After the tour of Ribnitz-Dammgarten we felt a little hungry and at 4 p.m. we got a really delicious fish sandwich. The fried fish roll was warm and crispy and with delicious homemade remoulade. No “cod square!” like you often get elsewhere. At home (in Lower Saxony) we reported on the delicious fried fish and the Ribnitz fish port is known across the country's borders and rated very good. We will stop here on our next visit to Ribnitz-Dammgarten.

Can only be recommended. The food was super tasty. The highlight was the appetizer. Marinated salmon with rösti and honey mustard sauce. So simple but never eaten so well. 👍 The main courses and dessert don't have to hide either. Praise to the kitchen 👍And the service was also great. Everyone was very nice and made us feel comfortable. We'd love to come back 😁👍

A highly recommended restaurant on the Bodden. I know that when the sun is shining (especially in summer) it is difficult to get a place there. The food was excellent and the service was very good. Simply great with a great view over the lagoon.

Food was delicious... the staff at the table were also very friendly... the atmosphere was rustic... but it would be nice if they didn't discuss controversies among themselves (staff) loudly in front of the guest... 🙃

Yes, everything looked sooo appetizing. We arrived at Rostock Laage Airport and googled where to get a good fish sandwich on a Sunday afternoon. We were on the way home to the Uecker Randow district. Lo and behold, we were super lucky. Two with Bismarck, one with fried fish and one with herring, all wonderfully fresh and packaged to take away. For that reason alone it's worth a trip here. Next time we'll eat well-rested in the restaurant. Now we were too tired to enjoy it. There were still places available. At home the two of us ate everything with great appetite.👍

Here we ate the best smoked fish. The music summer at the harbor is also highly recommended. And the sunset is gigantic

There can be no talk of hospitality here...We wanted to drink coffee and eat cake here on March 8th, a public holiday in MV, after a long hike, both of which were advertised on a display. At 5:18 p.m. we entered the restaurant, where we were first informed that we couldn't be served without a reservation because all the tables were reserved. At most, we could sit outside, but that was too cold for us. There was no response to our objection that we would be ready in 20 minutes. Apparently they don't need guests here, as we don't believe that on Women's Day all the guests come to eat at 5:30 p.m. We are disappointed, will definitely not be coming back and will not recommend it to anyone.

Really good food! Preparation simple, but to the point. You don't have to mess around with a good piece of fish. Service was friendly and quick given the circumstances. We were there at the end of February and I think they were overrun somewhat surprisingly. It was noticeable that the only waitress could handle a restaurant that was suddenly full in a professional manner. In addition, my absolute favorite dish was mussels and they were really of the very best quality!

Open all year round! Nice service and located right at the harbor! Sohnemann was provided with a coloring book and pencils without asking! Very attentive! 👍 We had the halibut steak with fried potatoes! Chicly served! The fried potatoes were fried very well, nice and crispy! Unfortunately the halibut steak wasn't up to temperature! A few degrees warmer it would have been perfect and the smoke aroma would have come out even better! Afterwards we went to the shop next door to stock up for dinner! Everything is great! Tip: take tartar sauce with you! Crazy good...

After asking for a table, the request was denied due to capacity. We should close the door immediately afterwards otherwise it would get cold. It's a shame, we were happy. We would have liked to have been treated professionally. What looks like a chic restaurant from the outside turns out to be an unfriendly fast food joint.
