Akropolis in Ribnitz-Damgarten

Die können nicht mal eine Mataxa Soße servieren 🤣 sie wollten mich heute echt für blöd erklären. Servierten eine schlecht gemachte Pilzsahnesauce.( Lag wohl an kein Bock oder weil sie dachten wir wären Urlauber) Echt schade 😕 kleiner Tipp: Zwiebel und Paprika anrösten, Tomatenmark dazu geben, etwas metaxa,mit Sahne ablöschen, ein Schluck Olivenöl Salz und Pfeffer. Gebt das mal an die Küche weiter. Wir bleiben dann lieber bei unserem Griechen.

Wir kommen hier gerne her, das Personal ist sehr freundlich und auch um unsere Kinder bemüht. Das Essen ist immer wieder lecker und wenn es mal was gibt, dann wird sich umgehend darum gekümmert.

Das Essen ist klasse! Die Leute sehr nett. Das Ambiente ist ausbaufähig. Alles typisch griechisch 🙂👍

Leckers Essen und große Portionen

Wir waren schon sehr oft im Urlaub oder auf der Durchreise hier essen und waren bisher eigentlich immer zufrieden. Die Lage ist top, die Einrichtung und das Ambiente sind typisch griechisch. Es gibt für heiße Tage auch eine Terrasse auf beiden Seiten des Gebäudes. Leider hat das Restaurant seit der neuen Speisekarte und dem neuen Personal deutlich nachgelassen. Viele der tollen Gerichte, die wir immer gern bestellt haben, gibt es nicht mehr, und auch der Service hat stark nachgelassen. Von der griechischen Gastfreundschaft, die den Laden einmal ausgemacht hat, spürt man leider nicht mehr viel. Wirklich schade, denn wir haben das Restaurant früher immer gern weiterempfohlen. Hoffentlich findet der Laden wieder zu seiner alten Stärke zurück.

Bedienung ok ,essen leider nicht wie es mal war!!(neuer Betreiber) keine Empfehlung!!!

Wir waren leider ziemlich enttäuscht von unserem Besuch. Schon während einige von uns noch am Essen waren, wurde angefangen, das Geschirr abzuräumen – das empfanden wir als unhöflich und störend. Noch unangenehmer war eine Bemerkung des Personals über unsere Sitzhaltung mit dem Hinweis, wir würden sonst Rückenprobleme bekommen. So etwas wirkt bevormundend und gehört einfach nicht in einen Restaurantbesuch. Auch der Service wirkte insgesamt unkoordiniert: Statt wie üblich am Ende einen Ouzo anzubieten, wurden wir mitten im Essen plötzlich aus dem Nichts gefragt, ob wir einen Schnaps wollen. Kurz darauf kam dann schon die Frage, ob wir zahlen möchten – obwohl wir noch beim Nachtisch waren. Insgesamt hatten wir das Gefühl, eher „abgefertigt“ zu werden, statt einen entspannten Abend genießen zu können. Sehr schade. Leider konnte auch das Essen nicht überzeugen. Es war insgesamt sehr fettig, besonders das Gyros, das dadurch schwer und wenig appetitlich wirkte.

Super leckeres Essen, super freundlicher Service! Besonders der Chef war sehr freundlich zu uns! Wir freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Besuch!

Das Essen war hervorragend. Tolles Grill Aroma und nette Gastgeber 😊 Portionen sind vielleicht etwas zu groß, aber beim Griechen auch nicht wirklich unüblich. Preis Leistung stimmt 👍

Waren im Februar 2026 hier. Das Essen schmeckt super. Die warmen Peperoni sind einzigartig. Der Ouzo schmeckt sehr gut. Sehr lecker. Haben gleich ein Flasche mitgenommen.

Das Restaurant liegt in einem schönen Eckhaus am Marktplatz. Der Service war okay (und bemüht), aber das Essen eine riesige Enttäuschung! Ich wählte das einzige Gericht, das unter der Kategorie "Für den kleinen Hunger" (!) stand: Souvlaki-Spieß für knapp 20 €. Was dann kam, das waren (leider) die größten Souvlaki-Spieße, die ich je gesehen hatte - und (wie auch anders) leider in schlechter Qualität (die Beschreibung "zarte Fleischspieße" konnte nur ein frommer Wunsch bleiben). Der Krautsalat hingegen wurde in einem Schälchen serviert, in dem man normalerweise ein paar Oliven reicht (es war einfach nur ein gehäufter Esslöffel Krautsalat). So musste ich extra einen Krautsalat (für 5,50 €) nachbestellen. Wenn ich nicht so einen großen Appetit gehabt hätte, dann hätte ich mein Karma nicht mit diesem Billigfleisch geschädigt. Ich schaffte auch nur einen der Fleischspieße, der Rest ging zurück (ein Graus für mich, weshalb ich extra das einzige Gericht in oben genannter Kategorie wählte)... Fazit: Wer große Portionen Billigfleisch essen möchte und keinen Wert auf Fleischqualität und Beilagen wie Salat legt, der scheint im "Akropolis" am richtigen Ort zu sein. Meinem Wunsch, als Nachtisch nur eine Kugel Vanilleeis essen, wurde nachgekommen (und fair abgerechnet). Ein Ouzo wurde am Ende nicht angeboten. Weil Reis, Krautsalat und Tzatziki soweit gut waren, gibt´s für´s Essen noch 2 Sterne, für die Fleischqualität und das winzige Salätchen aber 0 Sterne.

Wir waren sehr enttäuscht. Essen war ok, wenn auch lieblos angerichtet. Und serviceorientiert sieht definitiv anders aus. Der Kellner wirkte lustlos und genervt. Wir haben ewig vor unseren leeren Tellern gesessen. Zum nachbestellen von Getränken mussten wir dann selber an den Tresen gehen. Hab dann mein Wasser ( kleine Flasche) bekommen, allerdings hat er mein Glas mitgenommen. Auf Nachfrage ob ich dann noch ein Glas bekommen könnten, nickte er zwar, aber bekommen habe ich es nicht. Wir kommen definitiv nicht wieder !!!

Genervte Blicke statt griechischer Gastfreundschaft Ein Besuch im Akropolis sollte eigentlich gemütlich sein, endete aber in einer Enttäuschung über die mangelnde Professionalität des Personals. Das Essen war geschmacklich zwar in Ordnung, konnte die dann entstehende schlechtere Stimmung am Tisch aber nicht retten. Besonders störend empfanden wir die offensichtliche Selektion der Gäste; die obligatorische Geste eines Ouzos nach dem Essen oder gar die persönliche Begrüßung durch den"Chef" wird hier offenbar nach Sympathie oder anderen, uns nicht ersichtlichen Kriterien verteilt. Der Höhepunkt war jedoch der Bezahlvorgang: Ein genervter Blick des Kellners an die Decke, weil ihm die Kartenzahlung anscheinend nicht zügig genug vonstattenging, ist schlichtweg unverschämt. Effizienz scheint hier weit über der Gästezufriedenheit zu stehen. Ein durchwachsenes Erlebnis, das keine Empfehlung verdient.

Wir waren heute zu dritt (mit Reservierung) im Akropolis. Das Essen war geschmacklich okay und solide. Leider konnte der Service nicht ganz mithalten: Die Bedienung wirkte distanziert und abwesend. Als es im Laufe des Abends voller wurde, stieg der Geräuschpegel massiv an, was die Gemütlichkeit doch sehr trübte. Zudem schien das Personal mit der Auslastung überfordert – wir mussten trotz Wartezeit erneut nach der Rechnung fragen. Insgesamt ein eher durchwachsenes Erlebnis.

I've been to this Greek restaurant several times, and it was always great, but I have no idea what went wrong on the last visit. HerculesTeller: The gyro was a greasy, chewy mess with a bit of meat. The liver was satisfactory, and the skewer was okay. The pork steak was overcooked and tough. This Greek restaurant used to be really good. What happened???? The only thing that was really tasty were the fries. And they didn't even have proper ouzo.

We received a very warm welcome, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The young man who served us was particularly friendly and chatty – something you rarely experience. The food was incredibly delicious; you'll definitely be full and won't have to wait long. The portions are perfectly adequate, although the tzatziki is a bit small for the price. Otherwise, everything was absolutely top-notch! At the end, we even got a free ouzo and gummy bears – absolutely fantastic! We've rarely visited such a good Greek restaurant. We're thrilled and would love to come back.

As is typical for Greek restaurants, the food was meat-heavy, but the menu also caters to vegetarians. The staff was friendly, and the food was served promptly.

We were there for lunch. Two gyros and two beers. Nice service, a good portion for lunch, and very tasty. To finish, we had an ouzo, very mild and delicious... we'll definitely be back next time 👍 Tip: A little tzatziki would top it off... 😉

The ambiance was very plain. The outdoor terrace was tasteless. They served ouzo afterward, which was OK. By the way, we weren't asked if we liked it. The food was okay, served quickly, but the crowd wasn't very busy. The blonde lady with glasses was very friendly. Unfortunately, we were served most of the time by the rather overweight waiter with the beard. He should get some more training. I've never experienced anything so unmotivated and disinterested. The way he shuffles around, looks at you as if you're unwanted and as if he actually has to do his job because of you. Then he practically slams the food down on you, but he's already halfway out. Impossible. We deliberately decided not to have dessert. It was our first and last visit.

You should definitely reserve a table in the evenings, especially on weekends and in summer, as the restaurant is very busy. Nice to see that the quality and atmosphere have remained constant over the years!

We've enjoyed eating with you in the past. On Easter Monday the bifteki was on the grill for too long and was therefore dry and salty. Price-performance ratio no longer fits at all. Unfortunately we won't be coming back.

Unfortunately, we can't agree with all the reports, even though we like to eat there too. But what happened this evening doesn't work at all. There were two of us and a table was assigned to us - everything was ok - but then😳 We waited 15 minutes until the waiter came and brought us the menu and asked what drink we wanted. In the middle of the meal, the waiter asked if we would like an ouzo, which unfortunately we didn't get because he went outside with it and talked to friends. After dinner, my husband ordered a beer, but the waiter went out again and smoked his cigarette in front of us - despite the place being full - and so we waited for an eternity. We actually like eating there, but after today's events we have to think about going there again.

Never again, definitely not recommended. Not comfortable, both waiters were very unfriendly and the food was very expensive and not great in terms of taste.

Went there spontaneously because we were in Ribnitz-Damgarten. We were greeted very friendly and shown to our place. Great Greek atmosphere. We each had a grill plate. The gyro was great, even though I'm really cranky. Also very tasty seasoned 😋. Price performance top 👍 The next time we are in Ribnitz-Damgarten, we will pay you a visit again
