Delicious ice cream, pizza, and pasta. Extremely friendly staff, indoor and outdoor seating.

It was usually busy, but we still didn't have to wait long for our food. The pizza was quite good, but cutting it was a lot of work. The couple at the next table had the same experience.

Yesterday we cycled past the restaurant and spontaneously decided to stop by for something to eat. It was 7 p.m. and very quiet, at least outside. Two other tables were still occupied. We waited patiently for 15 minutes, but the waiters apparently hadn't much interest in the customers, even after eye contact. We waited another 5 minutes, then, to the staff's obvious relief, we went somewhere else. Bottom line: the Rialto isn't for tourists. A failure.

Quite a nice restaurant, but the food we ordered came very quickly (too quickly in my opinion). The zander had a lot of bones and the salad had no dressing (just a little balsamic vinegar).

Unfortunately, this was by far one of the worst pizzas I've eaten in years. The dough was completely soggy, and the toppings looked like they had been carelessly thrown on in passing. The cheese was half-raw, as were the onions—no sign of them being cooked through. I had to laboriously remove most of the toppings because they were simply inedible. Even with lowered expectations—as Berliners, you're used to a lot—we were still disappointed. If you don't want to ruin your evening, it's best to steer clear of this place.

The café/restaurant doesn't quite do justice to Ahlbeck's beauty and its prime location on the beach promenade, with its Formica tables and service that, at times—even from the young people—recalls the whiny of the cliché of the Seevice in the GDR. But what was truly disappointing was the coffee—a cappuccino in an Italian café that tasted so bitter and awful that I could only sip it twice. Even the extra portion of milk brought by the waiter—who was quite friendly—couldn't change that. The cake we had was okay, though nothing earth-shattering. The hot chocolate, at €5 for a very simple Nesquick—no foamed milk or anything—felt very overpriced.

We had a pizza that was okay and tasted good, and homemade pasta that was also good, but the chicken on the pasta wasn't seasoned at all and tasted bland. Otherwise, the staff was friendly and the surroundings were nice...

I stopped by for dinner on a whim. Unfortunately, I had the worst bruschetta and carbonara of my life. Although they were simple dishes, they were really not good. The service was really nice and polite, but that doesn't make up for the culinary disappointment.

The Spaghetti Carbonara was prepared with cream and as a result became a bit too bitter in the mouth over time. It was a bit loud but otherwise I have nothing to complain about.

Price performance is definitely right here

On the positive side, the food has been superb for years, and the environment is always clean and pleasant. But today, being completely ignored by the staff for over an hour, and receiving rude and arrogant answers when asked questions, is completely unacceptable. This is the kind of service you'd expect from someone who doesn't even want you there. This absolutely needs to change; it was different a year ago!

We found the food very good. The service was friendly and quick. I had the impression that the staff were a little stressed on the day of our visit. We would go back anytime.

Very nice location and delicious ice cream, but we experienced very poor service. Clearly disregarded, and the waiter only came after we asked three times. It gave the impression that they didn't need to. Too bad we won't be back next time.

Well... we ate there in the evening. We were able to get a table without a reservation. There was plenty of space. The food arrived after what felt like 10 minutes. That's pretty quick for a freshly cooked meal. My son had spaghetti carbona, the ham was quite large, but the taste was okay. My husband had spaghetti alio, which was delicious. I had spaghetti with pork tenderloin tips... it was boiled goulash and had nothing to do with fried tenderloin. A shame. Three people with drinks, about €60. Card payments accepted.

We often ate an ice cream sundae here. He was very tasty. The staff was friendly and attentive.

Great ambience, furniture, atmosphere, weather, sunset with a view of the sea, fast service, good portions, beautifully presented, hot, friendly, food, the most delicious pizzas, the family was thrilled, salad and everything fresh and beautifully presented, better than in Italy, vinegar and oil and fresh bread, superb quality, top-class cuisine, good value for money, something for the whole family and those who are very hungry. Tip and a lot to eat and everyone happy and satisfied. Will be back next year.

Good food, good service, great atmosphere

This was our third and final visit to this restaurant! The quality and quantity have deteriorated dramatically. Dishes were served after just 10 minutes. Pizza was bland and lukewarm, lasagna was hot. There's no accounting for taste, but not for a 5x5 cm square.

We were a group of five and wanted to sit outside. The restaurant wasn't particularly busy, but there were still only four-person tables available. So we pushed two tables together and sat down. The wind was so strong, however, that we decided to go inside and pushed everything back. The waiter then approached us with an unparalleled attitude; we were given such an unfriendly, rude look from the side and practically kicked out of the restaurant with the words, "You don't belong here." Other guests who were just about to enter the restaurant heard this and turned on their heels. I've never experienced anything like that in a restaurant before.

Yes, very good price-performance ratio

We had coffee and cake twice and were very satisfied both times; the same goes for the service.

Unfortunately, the ice cream tastes artificial. I wouldn't recommend it. They skimp on quality.

First of all: Only the pizza is worth it here. We had: • Charpaccio ~€20 (The portion was really small for the price; the meat was almost tasteless; it was served with very dry bread) • Hawaiian Pizza ~€14 (very large; authentic Italian pizza; filling) • Fish Soup ~€17 (Portion was okay; lots of different types of seafood; could have been seasoned better) So: if we had all "just" eaten pizza, the review would definitely have been better.

When we arrived, there were a lot of people in the restaurant and on the street — it was immediately clear that the place was popular. For the first 10-15 minutes, no one approached us, although several waiters definitely saw us. We were a little upset, but when they finally approached us, it turned out that the pizza we came for had already been taken. We saw a lot of people with boxes, and this was apparently the hot hit of the evening 😄 In the end, we ordered pasta: carbonara and another one — with chicken and mushrooms. It was very tasty! We generously sprinkled everything with cheese — perfect. We drank juices, we also liked them. The atmosphere in the place is cozy, noisy (in a good way), lives its own life — you can feel that people like it there. The waiters were polite and friendly. One even helped us make a choice — and indeed, we did not go wrong. Next time we will definitely come back, but this time for pizza! If it is taken so quickly, then it is really worth it, right? 😊

Beautifully located pizzeria on Ahlbeck's promenade, behind the dunes. There's an outdoor area right next to the bike path, a quieter indoor area, and a cheaper street vendor around the corner. The servers are quick, attentive, and friendly, even during rush hour. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. Reservations are generally not necessary. There are a few free parking spaces a short distance away. A bus sometimes runs along the promenade. However, the best way to get there is by bike or on foot.

A great team welcomed us warmly and served us with excellent service. A spontaneous change in my daughter's drink choice was immediately accommodated 🙏🏻 A highly recommended restaurant.

So far, everything was great! The pizza could have been a bit more spicy, but of course, you can't please everyone. We'd definitely be back!

Rialto Ice Cream Parlor & Restaurant Enjoyment with a view on the beach promenade! The Rialto is beautifully located directly on Ahlbeck's beach promenade and offers plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors with a view of the sea, ideal for a relaxing break. We were particularly impressed by the ice cream: creamy, delicious, and with a selection that offers something for everyone, including suitable children's portions. A sundae costs around €10-15, which is really reasonable considering the location and quality, especially compared to other big cities. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. Families with children and wheelchair users are also warmly welcomed here, a place where you feel welcome. The cappuccino was a small disappointment for me. The regular one was too strong for me, and the decaf version unfortunately didn't impress me either. I've had better coffees, but I think there's still some room for improvement. Nevertheless, we'll be happy to come back for the great ice cream, the beautiful location, and the friendly service!

The pizza was first-class and the service was exceptionally friendly. They came to the table frequently to check if everything was okay. The children's requests were fulfilled. We'll definitely eat there again next time. It was a bit noisy during the summer festival on the promenade, but that was perfectly fine; we had a table outside.

I was back after a long time. Closing time was 10 p.m., and at 9:30 p.m. there were no more cappuccinos, etc., even though there were still guests sitting and eating. There were no desserts or pastries either, even though everything was ready. Sad, but that's no way to keep customers. Times have changed. Very sad. Although the food was delicious and served quickly, the service was also very friendly.

Nice friendly staff good prices delicious food

We ate at Rialto today and ordered a pizza and spaghetti carbonara. The pizza was delicious. Unfortunately, the spaghetti carbonara didn't measure up. The sauce didn't seem fresh, tasted artificial, and was more reminiscent of a convenience store than a freshly prepared carbonara. Overall, the dish didn't meet our expectations of an Italian restaurant. We wanted to address our impressions directly, but service staff were unavailable for a long time. When we gave our feedback at the end of the visit, we encountered little understanding. Instead of a professional and service-oriented response, a discussion ensued. We were told that there had been no complaints about this dish that day, and it was even suggested that we could ask other guests ourselves whether they were satisfied with the meal. In our view, such a response is inappropriate and lacks customer service focus. We understand, of course, that tastes are subjective. In this case, however, it wasn't a matter of personal preference, but rather the quality and freshness of the preparation. Unfortunately, there was neither an apology nor any slight accommodation from the staff. In our opinion, a discount or a small gesture from the hotel and, above all, friendly communication would have been a sign of good service.

I ordered spaghetti carbonara at this restaurant – a dish I've loved and eaten regularly for years. But what I was served had absolutely nothing to do with a real carbonara. The pasta was overcooked, the sauce tasted like it came from a packet, completely unseasoned, and carelessly presented. When I respectfully addressed this with the waiter, who, incidentally, only briefly placed the plate down before disappearing (service was a complete disaster), I received a condescending response: "The sauce is tasty, I've already sold a lot of it today. It's just a matter of taste." It wasn't just the statement itself that was disappointing, but even more so the disrespectful tone. I've never experienced such an impertinent reaction to a legitimate, factual criticism in a restaurant. But that wasn't all: Instead of coming back to our table to clear away the leftovers or to end the conversation professionally, he stood within sight with his colleagues, obviously mocking the complaint. Eventually, another employee cleared the table, while our actual server gave me a serious look. When it was time to pay, he suddenly reappeared, still waiting for a tip... Conclusion: Terrible food, disastrous service, and disrespectful treatment of guests. I will definitely not be going to this restaurant again.

I was at this restaurant today with my son. We sat down at a table and waited for the waiter. He arrived a few minutes later. I asked in German if they had a Polish menu. The waiter took a deep breath and snorted, rudely responding with a "NEIN." He turned on his heel and completely lost interest in us. Arrogance and rudeness. We sat there for a while, surprised by the way we were treated in this restaurant. I must add that my son and I own numerous currency exchange offices in Świnoujście. We serve hundreds of German customers every day and always try to speak German. I can't imagine any of my cashiers addressing a customer that way. Polish, if you're reading this comment, steer clear of restaurants in the former GDR. These old-fashioned restaurants are only for Germans!

Almost €30.00 for pasta with truffles that seem to have come out of a jar, served in an overheated sauce and overcooked tagliatelle... cheeky, but probably sufficient for most vacationers. The other dishes we ordered were also only comparable to ready-made meals in terms of taste. Also, the typical pseudo-Italian dishes on the menu, like carbonara with cream 😤 Service was okay, and the location is top-notch right on the promenade, hence the 2 stars.

We weren't even allowed to sit down. It was about 8:15 p.m., and we wanted an iced coffee. The outdoor area was still very busy. When we tried to sit down, the waiter said it wasn't possible because it was about to rain. We could only sit inside. But the weather was lovely. We didn't understand. We were dressed normally and didn't look shabby. Well, if they didn't want our money, we just took it with us.

The pasta and pizza were really good, not too salty for once. What's no longer understandable are the exorbitant beer prices and the taste, in a beer country like Germany... uh, I forgot, we're on the beach promenade in Ahlbeck.

This place claims to be Italian but the quality of the desserts they serve is as far from Italy as the place itself. A thousand kilometres at least! The “gelato” is far too sweet and tasted artificial and their tiramisu is just some version of soft spongy cake made without lady fingers and lacking coffee and cocoa flavour completely, instead using a chocolate syrup on top which, in my option, resulting in some cake but not a tiramisu. Coffee was tasty and the German plum cake but that’s the only highlight. Service was horrible with our waiter messing up the order twice and blaming the mistake on us when we brought a chocolate sauce instead of hot raspberries.

The food lacked flavor and was unfortunately completely bland, using cheap ingredients and prepared without much love. The beer (if you can even call it that), supposedly Warsteiner on tap, was absolutely borderline and miles away from the original. All in all, we won't be going there again...what a shame.

We've eaten there several times on vacation. Whether it's the pizza by the window, the ice cream sundae, or the pasta, the food is delicious and the waiters are friendly.

It's a nice place to sit on the promenade. The food is average. Nothing special. The best part is, we had to wait a long time for our food. It was simply forgotten. But it's not a big deal, we had plenty of time. When paying, it's the same story. A long wait for the bill. The waiters prefer to stand in the doorway and laugh at a colleague who can't open the wine bottle. Absolutely terrible. So many tourists go through there that a complaint doesn't matter.

The food has nothing to do with Italian food, and the ice cream was watery and tasteless! Like almost everywhere, they're resting on their laurels.

We got a bone-dry pizza diavola, with practically no flavor or spice. You could barely cut through it with a knife. The tagliatelle with fillet tips was okay. Eating here once is enough.

Last year, four of us ate there and weren't impressed with the food. This year, we bought mini pizza slices from the window and have to say that the pizzas are very dry and have very little topping. However, the dough is very thick. This makes the pizza very dry; unfortunately, you only eat dough, like a dry roll with a slight pizza flavor. The atmosphere is nice and the service is very friendly. It definitely has potential. Now the food just needs to taste good.

We went there for ice cream at lunch during the off-season. Some of the drinks we ordered were forgotten. The fat waiter seemed awkward and annoyed. It's a shame. The ice cream sundae was okay, but nothing special.

Unfortunately, I have to give the one slice of pizza we got from the stand outside two stars. We were looking forward to treating ourselves to a small slice of pizza, but unfortunately (we both thought so, because everyone has different tastes sometimes) it was too dry and didn't taste good. Maybe it had been out for a while, I don't know, but it was just a shame. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture.

Four years ago I could still give this restaurant 5 stars, but today even one star seems too many. On our next vacation we'll cook ourselves in the vacation apartment; unfortunately, the food service in Ahlbeck has deteriorated dramatically in the last year. I'm writing this review with a stomach ache because the quality of the food is truly abysmal. We used to be big fans. But now they're charging a lot of money for subpar canteen food. I don't go to a restaurant for that. The waiter was arrogant and was loudly video-calling his relatives abroad next to us while we ate. The water was tap water and tasted stale, like old pipes; undrinkable.

I only ate an ice cream and drank a cappuccino.

I haven't eaten this badly in a long time. I had pasta with fillet steak. It felt like pasta with goulash from a commercial kitchen. My wife had carbonara. It was awfully cold, cooked ham strips, completely unseasoned. The worst thing is, there are two identical restaurants in Heringsdorf with the same menu. I highly recommend avoiding them.

The pasta dishes are very good. The pizza is a matter of taste, but it's not bad either.

A visit to the Rialto is always a great addition to your vacation, whether you just want a cappuccino or a sundae. The food is also excellent. The value for money is excellent, the ambiance is pleasant, and the staff is impeccable. We felt very comfortable and well looked after here. We would be happy to return.

We visited this wonderful Italian restaurant on the enchanting beach promenade today. Our last visit was several years ago. We were delighted that this establishment has maintained its very high standards. The typically Italian interior is well-maintained, the selection is extensive, the value for money is excellent, and the service staff is unobtrusive yet attentive, thoughtful, and perfectly trained. We thank you for your hospitality and look forward to another visit. Thumbs up!

We're on a school trip to Usedom this week. To give our children a nice meal, we took our students out for pizza. Each child had a budget for their meal and could decide for themselves what they wanted to order. Two children ordered a children's spaghetti ice cream. The waiter made a mistake and brought two regular portions. Only when the students wanted to pay did he say they were large portions and that they had to pay. We explained that the error was the waiter's, and that the restaurant always had to pay for them. The students had to pay the full price, and he didn't give some of them the correct change. This restaurant is just out to rip you off and isn't child-friendly; I don't recommend it.

The food was okay, but some of the pasta was quite hard, and the truffles weren't fresh, but from a jar. Hence, one star deducted. Otherwise, we were satisfied, and if you're not expecting gourmet food, you can eat and drink well here. It's not a fancy Italian restaurant, but that's not what it's supposed to be. The value for money is definitely good. The service is friendly, and you get prompt service.

Hello, unfortunately, the Rialto fell short of our expectations. The prices are still moderate, but this probably has nothing to do with the food. Unfortunately, it was true. For example, the salad consisted of 80% iceberg lettuce, and the chicken was dry and therefore tough. I had a pizza with broccoli, which was unfortunately flavorless. The seasoning oil smelled rancid. All in all, a terrible experience, and I will definitely not eat there again. What a shame. By the way, the waiter acknowledged the criticism with a shrug, probably because he knows that most people are on short vacations and only come for one meal. Best regards

Italian restaurant - no Lambrusco... The wine they offered, well, something's not right there. It's like pasta is completely overrated at Italian restaurants. 😉 But maybe it bothered the staff that my wife didn't take off her hat. She has to wear it for health reasons. It felt like it was better there. The first ones were in 1995, and a lot of things were frozen in time until 2025.
