Sorry guys, this has nothing to do with good food. Every village kebab does the pizza better. Bruchetta with water tomatoes without any taste!! Tourist processing. Something different is delicious, completely tasteless!!

It was our first time here and we were pleasantly surprised. A very quick, attentive service that really fulfilled all your wishes. There was absolutely nothing to complain about about the food either. The desired starter, Frittura di calamari, was on point and is recommended. Spaghetti fruiti de mare was just as delicious as the spaghetti aglio, olio e peperoncino. Grated Parmesan was also available with the meal upon request and was not charged for. Despite the full house, the waiter's attentiveness was sensational. We'd love to come back! Perfetto i grazie mile... 👍🏼

The waiter was very attentive and friendly and everything went very quickly from ordering to arrival at the table. Unfortunately, the pizza wasn't really baked through and was therefore heavy on the stomach, and the taste was also rather bland. The bruschetta and lasagna were good. Next time I would give pasta a try instead of pizza. The prices were absolutely fine for a vacation spot.

Unfriendly Italian service in decades of traveling and restaurant visits in Germany itself. Food: poor quality, not used to Italians. Jar or canned mushrooms - definitely not fresh mushrooms! Sauces tasteless. 2 out of 4 people with subsequent gastrointestinal symptoms. Not recommended!

Very nice Italian restaurant right on the beach promenade. Pizza and pasta are okay. But nothing more. Staff and service good, quite fast and also friendly. But you can tell that the restaurant is always busy due to its location. Conclusion: You don't necessarily have to come back.

Went to the Rialto again on vacation. The food was delicious and the service was great, the waiter who served us was extremely attentive and asked if everything was OK with us, if we still had enough drinks... Still We have never had our food on the table so quickly! We look forward to a lovely evening with delicious food every year when we are in Ahlbeck.

Unfortunately that was nothing! We ordered pizza, but it had nothing to do with Italian pizza. Way too full, too much cheese and the edge of the dough was too thick. The taste is ok, but nothing more. Boiled eggs instead of raw eggs, which cook in the pizza oven, onion pieces sometimes much too big, olives only lukewarm. And the pizza sauce wasn't anything special either. The bruschetta wasn't great either. I expect much, much better from the Italian. Location great. Staff friendly but could be more attentive. Ambience quite nice. Yes, you get full. But you don't have to come by a second time.

No recommendation! The taste of the food (pasta and pizza) didn't impress us and it also tasted like it had been reheated. The staff is neither attentive nor can they smile. If you want to eat delicious food on vacation, this is the wrong place for you. The only good thing is the location right on the beach, but the restaurant doesn't have anything else to offer.

A good Italian in itself. Nothing special in terms of taste, but it tastes good. The service is also good, but it's really designed for mass tourism, which is why you feel a bit like you shouldn't stay too long. I still give it 5 stars because the price and performance ratio is really good. The pizzas are larger than normal and cost the same as any other Italian restaurant. The ambience right on the promenade is also great. Plus everything was clean. So I can definitely recommend eating here.

Our pizzas were filling, but weren't seasoned well. Unfortunately there was no Parma ham on the Parma pizza - it was topped with normal thinly sliced ​​ham. Maybe there are alternatives for pizza locally? AEBR, the warm cocoa was amazing, the family loved it! Maybe the Rialto is more for coffee hours? Just a quick note - I think a large beer for €6.50 is sporty! The service was very good, quick and attentive!

Nothing works without a tip...if you tip less than 2 euros, people even roll their eyes. Pizza was good, but it left a bitter aftertaste..better keep looking

Delicious pizza and good service

After a beautiful day at the sea, I thought a pizza would do me good. So we sat on the beach promenade and naively assumed that there would be delicious food. I never leave pizza lying around, I only choked down half of it here. The pizza had been lying around for a while, as you could easily tell from the parmesan, the salami was tasty and the base was old. That was a really disgusting experience. Every frozen pizza is 10 times better and I don't even want to start talking about a proper kitchen. Next time I'll grab something from the freezer or go straight to Italy.

Had the worst meal in years. We were there last weekend and were very disappointed. Really none of the 3 waiters smiled. It's more like I have to do the job. The drinks came quickly. My Coca Cola is almost completely carbonated. Then I looked at the menu again, it could have been Pepsi. To my disappointment, the cola was probably a little older. Then the food came. My lasagna 🙄, the sauce on the outside was piping hot. But when I got to the middle of the lasagne, I realized that it was ice cold! I then went to the waiter and he said he would warm them up again. No apologies or anything, nothing. So for me that was it. I won't recommend it and advise anyone not to eat there. Sorry, but something has to happen. Unfriendly, stale drinks, cold food, nothing more is possible!

There were three of us... 1. food - tasted like canteen schnitzel, totally greasy and the fries were partly raw.. 2. The food didn't taste like anything, but it also tasted like a lot - it just didn't taste good 3. Food in general just didn't taste good, very greasy in taste and absolutely not recommended. The food was on the table in less than 10 minutes, so we were left wondering whether it was freshly prepared at all. Some of the staff were friendly, but after we gave a minimal tip the only thing that came out was a “bye”.

Drinks totally overpriced. 4 euros for 0.2 liters of apple spritzer is a disgrace. The other non-alcoholic drinks are not cheaper either. We had the cappuccino with the frozen apple strudel (the same one is available around the corner) and a pizza. The apple strudel was like TK apple strudel is. Not a particularly good Rialto. There are far better ones out there. E.g. Binz. Strawberry cups will no longer be available from September because there are no more strawberries... according to the waitress. Ice cream sundae really 0815, for €9.50 Service nice.

Central, busy location on the Ahlbeck promenade. We had ordered pizza, the size of it definitely fills you up, the base was crispy and it was fresh and had plenty of toppings but it didn't taste good, seasoning and garlic oil didn't improve the taste. A good pizza seasoning and the pizza would be TOP. The service was attentive and friendly.

We were disappointed not only by the quality of the ice cream dishes (tartuffo, spagetti ice cream) but also by the very unpleasant behavior of the waiter. When we got the ice cream we immediately asked to pay by card. That was the first time we had a problem with the waitress, who complained that we should have said that straight away. He was apparently angry that he had to go back to get the device for payment. When he came back with the device, we had to listen to his insults again. I can understand that it is very difficult to get trained staff, but as a restaurateur it is better to forgo SERVICE No. 5 (as written on the bill). He just scares away the guests.

We had the bruschetta and I have to admit that it was good, but unfortunately a bit bland. We have eaten better than this. I missed the taste of fresh onions and especially, olive oil. Our daughter had the lasagna, which was swimming in a very strong sauce. Taste okay. My partner had the seafood pasta. These tasted good, although there was too much sauce/stock in the plate. I had homemade pasta with scampi. These were very tasty, although a bit "dry". I missed the white wine sauce. I think the drinks are too expensive. However, what I was absolutely missing was the bread that we always get on the table in Berlin every time we visit an Italian restaurant. I also think it's a shame that you're not offered a nightcap. However, overall it was a lovely evening!

The service was okay and the restaurant is right on the promenade. Sitting outside was nice. We ordered two pizzas, one Margherita and one vegetarian. At least when it comes to pizza, the food here is extremely bland. Might be the most tasteless pizza I've eaten in Germany so far. Dough was like it came from the supermarket, but at least the toppings tasted good. I also asked for something spicy and the waitress herself said that her chilli oil wasn't actually spicy at all and was just meant for "taste", although that was missing too. Be careful that it is part of a chain at the Imperial Baths.

5 stars for sure. We had the tomato soup which was luxuriously seasoned, very hot. Spaghetti Bolognese, with lots of tasty meat sauce. Spaghetti neither hard nor boiled. Exactly. Arrival time 20:20 Monday 26/08/2025 and the service is here immediately and is very helpful. The food is ready very quickly. Live romantic music behind the violin and guitar. Definitely worth a visit.

Service is very nice. Food came pretty quickly. My tagliatelle were delicious. Unfortunately my husband's pizza wasn't good. Wasn't baked through...very flabby. That was probably just bad luck. We assume that the pizza is otherwise better because a lot of people get pizza there and take it with them to the beach.

Italian restaurant in Ahlbeck's best location. We quickly got a table outside and were served quickly and friendly. The drinks and pizzas were quickly at the table. But... pizza prepared in under 10 minutes? This can't be good and it wasn't. Seafood, mozzarella and other things on top was a single mess that didn't taste good...unfortunately. In the high season, only quantity counts! However, we had already eaten in the restaurant in February 23 and were very satisfied back then. It is incomprehensible why various restaurants with big money deteriorate in quality.

I have rarely eaten pasta with Gorgonzola sauce that tasted so little like Gorgonzola. The sauce was watery. To the Rialto's credit, the food came extremely quickly. It was okay. Hence 3 stars. But there is better food in town.

The homemade pasta was incredibly sticky and the salmon in the pasta had a texture I've never had before. Like pressed fish leftovers. Really not edible. The pizzas were dry and carelessly prepared. We are NOT coming back.

After about 20 minutes of waiting, an annoyed waiter came. I soon received the salami pizza I ordered. Since I only managed half of it, he was supposed to pack it for me. Since this hadn't happened after a quarter of an hour, I asked. The answer I got was that he had forgotten it. Five minutes later I received it. Later in the hotel room I discovered that the salami slices were missing and there were some strange other food residues on my pizza. It had probably ended up in the trash in the meantime and was then given to me in a package. A case for the health department?

One star is still too many. When I asked what kind of homemade pasta was, the answer I got was that it was homemade pasta... very helpful. So I ordered a pizza. Had Pizza Margherita... tasteless and the base was a mixture between crispbread and chewing gum. Never again.

I can't understand the bad reviews about the waiters. We were served very friendly. The quality of the food was okay. The tomato soup as a starter could have been served with some bread, otherwise the quality was very decent. Only the drinks prices are disproportionate, a 0.4l cola for 6.20 borders on outrageous. Despite the direct location in the first row, you should think about what the real stakes are.

The noodles are not recommended!

A few years ago it was the best ice cream in the village. Unfortunately today it's far worse. Plus it's expensive. It's worth eating ice cream somewhere else.
