Das Restaurant lebt von seiner Lage mit einem schönen Ausblick auf den Rhein. Die Qualität der Küche lässt hingegen viele Wünsche offen. Der Salatteller ist eine lieblose und überaus fade Zusammenstellung von Fertigsalaten, ,ein Dressing,sei es auch nur bestehend aus Essig/Öl fehlte komplett, die Rinderfilet Stücke zäh ,ungewürzt und offensichtlich nicht frisch gebraten ,dazu wurden einige Scheiben Weißbrot gereicht, kein Aufstrich, Öl/ Butter o.ä...von Kochkunst kann hier keinesweg gesprochen werden .

Update: After a long time we visited the restaurant again. The Rheinterrasse steak was ordered twice. (Rump steak approx. 200 -250 gr. fried potatoes and fried onions) At the proud price of 32 euros. The price was proud because the portion was very small. Especially with fried potatoes, which are very cheap, the portion size was almost ridiculous. Both steaks were ordered medium. After the first bite you could already tell, the steaks were raw on the inside. The waiter took the complaint as an opportunity to split both steaks in the middle at the table to get an idea of ​​the degree of doneness. He confirmed our opinion. Took the steaks with me to throw them back into the pan. These shared steaks were then brought back to us after they had been cooked. A wheat beer that was ordered was not a wheat beer, but a light beer. When we were asked, we were told that the beers looked different because they were poured differently (bottled beer). If you can do that, then you shouldn't run a restaurant. All in all, a catastrophic restaurant visit. Even the great view of the Rhine can't shake that! Das Essen ist 0815. Das Pfefferschnitzel eine Katastrophe. Formschnitzel aus der Friteuse mit einer pampigen Masse (Sauce) . Salat auch mit einer Fertigsauce. Dazu hätte ich auch in eine Pommesbude gehen können, wenn nicht die Top Lage wäre. Diese wird auf Dauer aber nicht reichen, denn wer einmal dort gegessen hat kommt nicht wieder. Schade.

That's why I can't recommend the steak under any circumstances. The rest of the food was okay (starter, side dishes, dessert), but disproportionately expensive. For the money you can get much better quality elsewhere.

A great location for a restaurant and the service staff was very friendly, but the food experience was a disappointment. In a restaurant I expect a real schnitzel and not one that is delivered ready-made. Even our children could have done that themselves.

Ich habe diesmal den Fisch-Teller probiert- gute Wahl! Der vorher servierte Vorspeisenteller (Tapas) war wie immer sehr gut: schöne Mischung von unterschiedlichen mediterranen "Startern". Die Getränke passen gut zu den Speisen (Wein, Bier etc.).

Schönes Restaurant mit super Essen! Es hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Das Ambiente passt gut zum angrenzenden Rhein. Der Service war Spitze, ob es daran gelegen hat das es nicht sehr voll war zu dem Zeitpunkt weiß ich nicht aber sollte es immer so sein, perfekt !

Bei den Gerichten Schnitzel und Cordon Bleu gibt es noch viel Raum nach oben. Das Fleisch war zu trocken, die Pommes Frites waren recht hart und nicht heiss. Im Cordon Bleu waren Käse und Schinken kaum erkennbar. Leider gab es auch noch ein Haar im Essen. Insgesamt wären 3 Sterne angebrachter. Der Salat und der Service waren gut.

Es liegt oben am Deich und hat eine tolle Sicht auf dem Rhein, wir haben Café mit einem Stück Kuchen gegessen, alles Top, Dankeschön 🤗🐛

Zum Draussen sitzen ist der Rheiinblick toll, Service ist nur knapp freundlich unterwegs. Die Qualität des Essen war OK. Die Preise sind mitlerweile überall zu hoch.

Leckerer Käsekuchen, dazu eine Tasse frischer Kaffee, das Ganze auf einer Terrasse mit weitem Blick über den Rhein. Freundlicher Service, saubere Sanitärräume. So soll es sein, alles bestens, empfehlenswert!

Wir haben draußen gegessen und hatten direkten Blick auf den Rhein. Essen fand ich zwar gut ,aber bisschen zu teuer.

Sehr schöner Ausblick von der Terrasse, Essen gut, ein wenig zu teuer, aber es ist ja alles teurer geworden.

Freundliche Bedienung. etwas windig und dadurch war es sehr laut, weil die Bänder der Fahnen immer gegen die Stange schlugen. Aber sonst, wirklich ein schöner Ort, um entspannt zu speisen oder auch nur ein Getränk zu sich zu nehmen.

Wir waren auf einer Fahrradtour und nur auf eine Erfrischung dort aus. Der Blick direkt auf Vater Rhein ist unbezahlbar. Der Service wollte uns wahrscheinlich nur etwas Gutes. War aber so penetrant das es schon unangenehm war. Daher nur drei Sterne. Wir haben dort nichts gegessen und demnach nichts darüber sagen außer das die Preise der Location angepasst sind. Vielleicht ist's beim nächsten Mal besser.

Tolle Aussicht auf den Rhein, gutes Essen, aufmerksamer Service

Zuerst ist hier die tolle Lage am Rhein zu nennen mit direktem Blick auf die vorbeifahrenden Schiffe. Es gibt neben der normalen Speisekarte auch eine saisonale. Mehrere Biersorten vom Fass, auch Oberbräu hell oder dunkel. Als Vorspeise den Mix Tapas Teller, auch ausreichend für 2 Personen. Das Pfeffersteak war butterzart und auf dem Punkt gegart. Wiener Schnitzel so wie es sein soll. Spargel mit Rindersteak oder Hähnchenschnitzel ein Gedicht. Aufmerksame und freundliche Bedienung. Immer wieder gerne werden wir hier Gast sein.

Haben dort einen Boxenstopp eingelegt und einen Latte-Macchiato getrunken. Mit super Aussicht nach Düsseldorf-Himmelgeist.
