Very friendly staff, the menu could be expanded, you could open earlier during the week as there are a lot of hikers and cyclists. Disabled-friendly.

It was just a nice evening with friends yesterday. Great food and a beautiful view. It was a long wait for drinks, but still acceptable. We'd love to come back, even if it takes a while. Just too far away.

Three salads and a Jägerschnitzel with fries. Schnitzel (frozen goods), okay. The three salads (two with goat cheese, one Californian, chicken with fruit) Cheapest iceberg lettuce, fruit not fresh, dressing weak, only the goat cheese with honey was convincing (But that's not art) For that, with drinks, almost 100€...never again. Unfortunately the fate of many clubhouses, good location, bad tenant!

I have rarely seen such poor service as here. Unfriendly and absolutely listless. Slams beer mats on the table and even expects you to help clear it up. The prices are also not appropriate for the location. The ice cream there is overpriced without any taste.

Were there about 2 weeks ago and ate waffles outside on the terrace. The staff is very very friendly and accommodating. We have already made an appointment for dinner on August 17th, 2024. We're already looking forward to it.

We come here every now and then. Recently, however, there was a longer break because we weren't really satisfied with the service beforehand. But since times change from time to time, we keep testing this because the rest was really good for us. And so we went there once or twice for a beer and then tried the food. Currently we can say that the food is really, really tasty. Good quality, reasonable prices, even good prices for some things. The food is fresh, very tasty, attractively prepared. The waiting time is also very good and reasonable. Special requests will also be fulfilled if possible. The service is currently very good for me, you are served quickly and treated very nicely. The very large terrace with plenty of sun and shade and a great view of the Rhine is very nice. All in all, I can really recommend this place at the moment.

Unfortunately, the cappuccino was no longer hot but lukewarm by the time it reached our table. The cold drinks were nice and cold and refreshing. The service staff was very friendly.

Appetizer platter for 4 people was super tasty. And we really enjoyed everything that was served afterwards. And all this despite hosting a large wedding party. Respect for such a great team.

The one star is for the view and the waffle. The rest was very disappointing. The expensive salad was old and already brown and the older waiter was very unfriendly. Only the very young waiter really made an effort, but he couldn't save the evening.

We organized a Eurasian walk in Neuss and were treated wonderfully (after making an appointment in advance). We were welcome with the dogs (21 animals) and the dishes tasted wonderful, were fresh and beautifully prepared. The service was very quick and very friendly. We all felt very comfortable and would like to thank you very much for the successful end to a great day in Neuss

Really just a very nice view: prices WAY too expensive for what is brought to the table in the end. Some employees (not all) have a very harsh way of dealing with paying guests. As a consequence of the request for understanding that we had just sat down and would like to have a look, we were made to wait 20 minutes before our order was taken. There were exactly 6 other people in the restaurant. The equipment (table and co) was below average. Very unfortunate. We don't go there anymore.

Salad was already brown and carelessly prepared, but €16.90 was charged. When asked about this, the waitress said he would let the kitchen know. Nothing happened. The whole place is unkempt. One can only guess what the kitchen looks like. The view of the Rhine is of course great, but you can also get it elsewhere. Better go somewhere else.

Very well located restaurant if you are traveling by bike. I was there for the second time. Small menu but always fresh products. Parking behind the house.

Unfortunately not a good price-performance ratio: very high prices, small portions, mediocre food. Simple and boring: no decoration outside, carelessly furnished inside. If you want a quick break from your bike ride and don't want to sit on a park bench to eat a snack, this place has a nice view (hence 2 stars).

The four of us had a lovely afternoon to spend on the Rhine with delicious food. Unfortunately, this was not possible in this restaurant. Right from the start, the waiter showed us our reserved table in a somewhat arrogant manner and the drink order was taken quickly, but it took a while until the first of four beers came. We had to wait for the others because the barrel was tapped again, nothing bad so far. However, the other three Bolten beers that arrived later were very stale and didn't taste good at all. The next problem was the food. The schnitzel was completely soggy from the sauce and the food was lukewarm. In the oven salad, the meat was also lukewarm and the baked potato was filled with quark, which tasted like herring tip. The tortelloni with ricotta and spinach was not worth mentioning and far too little on the plate for the price. At €24.90 you expect a plate full to the brim and not six large, manageable tortelloni, which are gone in a few seconds and you are left with a feeling of hunger. We also asked for an ashtray, which we were supposed to get but we had to get it ourselves after about 10 minutes. Conclusion: Overpriced prices for portions that are too small, poor service and bad food. The only positive thing about the day was the beautiful view of the Rhine.

The restaurant is located directly on the Rhine. When the weather is nice, you have a wonderful view from the large terrace. The drink prices are ok. The menu is relatively small, but there is something for every taste... The staff is very attentive.

The only positive thing about today's visit was the view of the Rhine. There were a lot of weeds on the terrace, the chairs were dirty, the coffee with milk was only lukewarm and the cake advertised on the menu wasn't available because "... the baker went bankrupt during the Corona period...".

We happened to be nearby around lunchtime on the weekend and were pleasantly surprised. The location is almost unbeatable with a view of the Rhine. The menu offers something for every taste. We both enjoyed the food very much! Tasty and the portions are also impressive. The waiter was very attentive. We had a lovely stay and we would be happy to recommend this restaurant.

The “Restaurant am Rhein” is located directly on the Rhine in Neuss. TOP LOCATION with a beautiful view of the Rhine! We think the large terrace is great. For people who can't climb steps, a lift has even been added so they can enjoy this great terrace. There’s a 5* for that alone 😀. Price/performance is completely ok. The opening times are special. The service is friendly. Toilets clean. We look forward to seeing you again next time.

Were in Neuss today because our flight leaves tomorrow morning. Was looking for a good restaurant and went by the reviews. First impression very good. Even an elevator for disabled people. Food was very good 😋 and the service is very friendly. Anytime again 😊

Food and location with a direct view of the Rhine are good. We were served quickly and friendly. Inside it could be a little more lovingly furnished. But we were satisfied, even if it wasn't cheap.

Unfreundlicher Drecksladen das Essen gleicht von der Qualität einer Tankstelle an der A2. So eine unfreundliche Kellnerin habe ich noch nie gesehen. Nie wieder. Nur der Ausblick ist toll. Ohne die Lage würde dieser Schuppen längst bankrott sein.

Dort hat man einen sehr schönen Blick auf den Rhein. Das Essen ist den Preisen in etwa angemessen und der Service war sehr gut.

Ich habe noch nie einen so unfreundlichen Kellner getroffen. Gastfreundschaft sieht in meinen Augen anders aus. Ich wurde noch nie so frech behandelt, als ich lieb gefragt habe, ob ich auf Toilette gehen darf und sogar dafür bezahlen würde. Man hätte auch höflich nein sagen können. Es ist nun mal ein Grundbedürfnis auf Toilette zu gehen und ich finde es nicht verwerflich so etwas zu fragen. Ich habe vorher noch zu meiner Freundin gesagt: „Das sieht ja cool aus, da können wir nach unserem Spaziergang noch essen gehen.“ Jetzt möchte ich dort nicht mehr hin. So kann man seine Kundschaft auch vergraulen. ;) Vielleicht mal darüber nachdenken, wie man mit potenziellen Kunden redet.

Freundliche Bedienung und ansprechenndes Ambiente.

Schön gelegenes Restaurant direkt am Rhein. Alles sauber und ordentlich. Kleine aber feine Karte. Wir hatten Medaillons mit Pfifferlingen und Spätzle. Alles war sehr frisch zubereitet und lecker. Portionsgröße war noch ok. Getränkeauswahl gut. Unser Kellner war sehr nett und aufmerksam. Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ok. Wir kommen gerne wieder

Das Essen war lecker, die Lage am Rhein ein Traum und das Personal (inkl. der hier in vorhergehenden Kommentaren kritisierten Chefin) war ausgesprochen höflich und aufmerksam.

Das restaurant hat eine extrem schöne Lage und mit tollem Rheinblick, das Essen war dazu sehr gut und die Bedienung ist sehr schnell und nett. Definitiv zu empfehlen!

Kamen nach einer langen Radtour aus dem Münsterland am Restaurant am Rhein an. Wurden exzellent von einem jungen und motiviertem Kellner empfangen und bestellten jeweils einen Eiskaffee.. Köstlich und erfrischend.

Sehr lecker, schönes Ambiente, nette Bedienung und tolle Aussicht auf den Rhein.

Das Essen war lecker. Bedienung freundlich. Minuspunkt gibt es in Bezug auf die Karte: 2 A4 Blätter zusammengeheftet. Die Auswahl auch sehr gering. Das Ambiente ist gut gemacht. Man kann direkt auf den Rhein sehen. Was mir persönlich fehlte, war die Dekoration im Raum. Ich würde aber dennoch wiederkommen.

Eines der besten Schnitzel Wiener Art, welches ich je gegessen habe. Super netter Service und sehr schöne Location mit Blick über den Rhein.

Wunderschöner Rheinblick, wenn das Essen etwas innovativ wäre, könnte man häufiger dorthin gehen, auch die Umgebung lohnt sich sehr für einen Spaziergang mit anschließender Einkehr oder umgekehrt. Auch die Öffnungszeiten sollten daran angepasst werden. Ansonsten ist es eine optimal gelegene Lokalität, die ihresgleichen sucht. In Neuss gibt es kein Lokal, was eine bessere Lage besitzt.

Hatten unsere Weihnachtsfeier dort Essen war sehr gut.

Wir haben uns zum Rentnertreffen dort versammelt. Es gibt genügend Raüme für eine Versammlung. Das Essen und die Bedienung waren sehr gut. Leider war es schon dunkel und man konnte den Blick auf den Rhein nicht genießen.
