When the weather's nice, it's a lovely spot with a view over Schierstein harbor, chill music, and the perfect drink. It's also great in winter when the sun is shining. They really try to fulfill your wishes. Friendly service. Whenever the weather's good, we take the opportunity to enjoy the place, even if it's sometimes just for us.

What a fantastic location right by the harbor – the view of the water is simply stunning and creates a relaxed, special atmosphere. We enjoyed a first-class Pinot Gris and a delicious classic tarte flambée – both of which we highly recommend. A big compliment to Leo for the outstanding service: attentive, friendly, and very welcoming. You immediately feel welcome, everything was perfectly organized, and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We had a wonderful evening and will definitely come back. Beautiful location on the Rhine, very small portions, but high prices! We went home hungry. What a shame.

The yeast and pilsner were poured into the wrong glasses. When a man pointed out that he preferred a pilsner rather than a wheat beer glass, he was brusquely told that it didn't matter. Our wheat beer was poured into a pilsner glass instead...what's the point of that...? The grill had to be turned on for the beef sausage (at around 1:30 p.m.). When it was then carelessly served on the plate, it wasn't even lukewarm... This place is recommended, if at all, only for a drink and, above all, for its beautiful location...otherwise, unfortunately, not at all...

There were three of us here, quite spontaneously after a round of Schiersteiner Hafen. It wasn't very busy, the waitress spontaneously brought us cushions for the seating area, our orders were quickly taken and brought to our table, and we even had a chat with the waitress. The food, salads, and chicken dip, were excellent; we would order again. We would happily recommend the lounge.

€14 for a beer and a glass of Coke – self-service, no receipt, no service. I was there on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at 5:50 PM. I had to get my own drink – a beer and a glass of Coke from a plastic bottle – and pay €14 for it via PayPal. Card payments were only possible for orders over €20. No receipt. For a simple waterfront restaurant, the prices are completely exorbitant. Thank you for your reply and explanation. Since I was not issued a receipt for the charged drink, I unfortunately have no proof of what exactly was charged. Conversely, this also makes it difficult to determine whether the prices were actually charged according to your official price list. According to my PayPal account, a payment of €14 was made to your establishment. At the time of our visit – my colleague and I – there were a maximum of five guests in the establishment. In this context, your comment that you unfortunately don't always have 20 employees available seems somewhat inappropriate. I was at the Rheinlounge in Wiesbaden today and immediately felt at home. A super relaxed location, amazing views, and a truly chilled atmosphere. The drinks were great, and the staff were super friendly and attentive. It's the perfect spot to unwind or spend a nice evening with friends. I'll definitely be back!

An absolute insider tip! The Rheinlounge is a true gem on the harbor! The café impresses not only with its beautiful location overlooking the water, but also with its cozy atmosphere, stylish ambiance, and very friendly staff. The selection of coffees and snacks is lovingly curated – everything is fresh, homemade, and truly delicious. I especially recommend the homemade lemonades 😍. You immediately feel welcome and can relax wonderfully. I'll definitely be back – a place to feel good!

The ambiance is unique. However, the service is unfortunately not that good; they definitely need to learn how to serve. I ordered a strawberry lemon mint lemonade for €7 and got water with strawberry syrup… what a shame

On a sunny Sunday there is hardly a more beautiful location than the Rheinlounge. Located right on the water, it offers breathtaking views. The drinks are first class and we received a warm welcome. An all-round successful visit – thank you for the great experience!

Not recommended!!! Service > very rude, unfriendly, arrogant and disrespectful! Better go over to the other side to the yacht cafe at the harbor!

We were very 🤩 excited. Everything deserves 5 stars, even more. Super nice staff, unfortunately that doesn't happen that often these days. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back. We were the only guests on a Friday lunchtime. We only ordered something to drink. The atmosphere is very nice, located right on the water. One star deduction is because of the parking situation. You should look for one at the front, otherwise it looks really bad and you can hardly turn around. There is no access with a wheelchair.

Unfortunately I can't say anything about the food, we just wanted to have a drink after a walk along the harbor. The ambience is great, sitting there and enjoying the harbor and the sun. What we didn't like, however, is that the service staff is friendly, but by no means on the ball. When we were there, employees who were obviously not on duty had to help (clean tables, tell a woman where to go to the toilet). Of course, all of this is not without visible anger among the off-duty employees. We had two homemade lemonades, well, large glasses of water with syrup and water mixed together, plus lime or lemon slices with mint. Charging €6.50 for that is steep. I don't think we'll go there again, there are so many alternatives at the harbor, you'll definitely find something there.

Wir kamen an einem Nachmittag per Zufall vorbei und habe die Rheinlounge für uns entdeckt. Der Antipasti-Teller war hervorragend, da die verschiedenen Zutaten gut ausgewählt und zubereitet waren. Wir kommen wieder! Darüber hinaus ist der Service äußerst aufmerksam und nett.

The location is great. The prices are high. The drinks listed on the menu have nothing to do with reality. I ordered homemade lime elderberry lemonade (400ml according to the drinks menu). But I got a water drink with limes, mint and currants in an uncalibrated wine glass that was max 200ml. Price €6.50. When there are such obvious rip-offs - you lose the mood to experience it again. No recommendation. The upholstered furniture is so dirty - it couldn't be more embarrassing. There is a very simple solution - fitted sheets for pillows, different colors and washable. This location could be turned into a great restaurant, but at the moment everything is in the wrong hands.

Everything was very good. Even if one or the other was forgotten, it came about over time. The restaurant was inconspicuous from the outside and very cozy inside.

Nice atmosphere with a terrace at (or already in?) the harbor. Looks elitist, which you can see in the prices. Otherwise, unfortunately not exceptionally good.

Been there today. We were attracted by the location and the ambience and were shocked at how bad it was. Completely overpriced, poor service, water with a slice of orange served as homemade orange lemonade for €6.50... We are super disappointed!

That was something again. The villages come into the city, walk along the beautiful Rhine and settle down for a latte in the RheinLounge. Ordered two lattes, received two cups, the size was reminiscent of an espresso macchiato. That was basically just a sip of coffee for 4.50 euros a thimble. But no problem, luckily there are alternatives.

I was recently at the Rheinlounge in Wiesbaden Schierstein and I have to say that I was absolutely thrilled. The location at the harbor is beautiful and quiet, and the service was very friendly and helpful. I had a shandy and a tarte flambée, both of which were very tasty. My wife's homemade lemonade was also great. The prices are fair and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. I can absolutely recommend the Rheinlounge! The Rhine Lounge is located directly at the harbor and offers a beautiful view of the water. Perfect for relaxing and enjoying. The service was very friendly and helpful. She made sure that we felt completely comfortable. Conclusion: The Rheinlounge in Wiesbaden Schierstein is a great restaurant with delicious food, great ambience and friendly service. I can absolutely recommend!

maximum number of stars for the location. Otherwise: listless management concept, phlegmatic service and high prices. No recommendation in this form. Very unfortunate.

Nice location right at the harbor

Located directly at the cozy Schierstein harbor. Were there for about an hour. We waited a good half hour for any of the young girls to come, even though the lounge was moderately busy at that moment. The best thing was that we walked right past the bar when we walked in and greeted the waitress straight away. After waiting forever, at the table they said “sorry, I didn’t notice you at all”🤣. After we finally got something to drink, which was also very tasty, we were allowed to wait forever even though there wasn't much going on and two waitresses were there until they checked on us. I can't deal with apathy and hypocrisy. I think that in this case the managing director should know what is going on in the company, because first and last time.

The ambience is great because the location is right on the water. Sunday, bright sunshine, we're looking forward to ending the weekend. You are greeted with the words: “self-service only”, which you accept in a good mood. Then waiting without any attention or greeting, instead both bosses complained about their employees in front of the customers. Ordered drinks after a long wait, and yes, we could have asked for the price, but they were handed over to us for a really exorbitant price. When we got to the table, we first had to clean it. We have definitely experienced a welcome and a sense of well-being in a different way. Very unfortunate 🥲

We only had one beer. So I can't say anything about the food. It's nice to sit with chill music. Service was a deductible during our visit, so it's hard to rate it. Recommended for a short break in a beautiful atmosphere.

Owner very unfriendly, very self-absorbed

Location is of course great. Anyone who knows the Schierstein harbor knows this. But the boss yells at his employee in front of the guests just because he is entering something into his ordering machine/cash register system. Drink for €8.50 (lemon squash) was extremely stretched and no trace of ginger. Lots of ice cubes... I don't like spending money on that. :((

Wir haben hier nur etwas getrunken, 2 Holunder-Schorlen für 13,-€ 😳 Aber gut, das Ambiente am Hafenbecken ist super 😍 und muss bezahlt werden. Bei schlechtem Wetter wird wahrscheinlich auch nicht viel in die Kasse kommen 🥴 Aus diesem Grund, wir kommen bestimmt noch mal. Dann trinke ich ein Hefe für 5€ 😁 Die Bedienung war sehr nett 👍

Man sitzt schön am Hafen auf einer Terrasse. Soweit so gut, leider ist der Service schlecht. Flammkuchen bestellt, diesen hatte man aber vergessen, mir zu bringen obwohl nicht viel los war. Beim Bezahlen kam weder von der Servicekraft noch vom Chef eine Entschuldigung. Sehr unfreundlich dazu noch.

Gegessen haben wir hier nicht. Aber auf ne Kaffee oder ein Getränk geht immer. Tolle Location mit Ausblick auf den Schiersteiner Hafen. Service ist erster Klasse.

Die Location ist wirklich schön! Aber man sollte nicht mit Hunger herkommen. Das Essen ist katastrophal, da tut man sich einen größeren Gefallen sich an der Tankstelle was zu essen zu besorgen. Aber wer Lust hat auf einen Hauch von eingelegten, billig-Meeresfrüchtesalat auf Fertigsalatmischung für 18,00€ wird hier gut bedient 🥰

Wirklich schicke Location direkt im Hafen und die Cocktails können sich sehen lassen. Wirklich toll war der Service wegen des heißen Wetters einfach ein großes Glas Eiswürfel extra dazu zu bekommen, um nötigenfalls auffüllen zu können. Service war sehr freundlich und flott.

Ganz ok. Aber zu förmlich. Irgendwie ohne Charm. Personal war irgendwie seltsam, lag glaube ich am schrägen Chef. Billige Pop Musik zu laut und ohne Style. Leider wie der ganze Laden. Zu teuer für das was man bekommt.

Ich komm wieder! Und an alle Rezensenten, die den Ort offensichtlich ganz selbstvertständlich als öffentliches Klo ansehen…: Überlegt lieber einmal mehr, bevor Ihr Dummzeugs schreibt…!

Tolle Location am Rhein, ABER… das Personal, meine Güte 😩 Meine Frau in ich waren nun schon mehrmals da (nur um klar zu stellen, dass wir nicht einen „schlechten Tag“ erwischt haben. Im Grunde läuft es immer so ab: Nachdem wir den Platz eingenommen haben, dauert es in der Regel 10 Minuten (Rekord lag bei optimistischen 15 Minuten), bis jemand kommt. Zur Info: Bedienung zu zweit, teils zu dritt!! / plus „Springer“!! bei 30%-max 50% Auslastung an Gästen. Getränke dauern nochmal so lange. Jedes von uns bestellte Getränk (3) wird teils auch einzeln gebracht in 5 Minuten Rhythmus. Jetzt wird’s kurios,.. immer, ich meine immer(!) kommt (wenn man die Bedienung mal nicht braucht), alle gefühlte 5-10 Minuten (in jeden Fall mehrmals) die Bedienung mit Getränken und fragt, ob wir es bestellt hätten?!? Rekord war gestern, da kamen unterschiedliche Bedingungen exakt 5 mal zu uns mit der Frage, ob wir das bestellt haben (immer nein). Verwunderlich, da die Tische mit Tischnummer versehen sind. Um uns herum haben wir auch Gäste wahrgenommen, die dann irgendwann aufgestanden sind (ein Teil ist dann wieder weg ohne Bestellung, der andere Teil ist dann vor zur Theke, um zu bestellen, weil es wohl zu lange gedauert hat. Wie gesagt, Max 50% der Tische waren nur belegt. Ach, die Karte zu bekommen ist nicht wirklich Standard. Immer werden wir gefragt, ob wir die Karte wollen. Tipp: wenn Ihr mehr Umsatz machen wollt—>Gebt IMMER eine Karte raus! Grundsätzlich: Als Gast will ich immer eine Karte. Toiletten sind „so lala“… Das der Wasserhahn am Waschbecken nur im gedrückten Zustand, Wasser zum laufen bringt, macht ein ordentliches Händewaschen zur echten Herausforderung😂 Papier war leer. Klar, was sonst. Ach, ganz nett fanden wir, dass wenn ein Nachbartisch eine Karte will, einfach unsere (ungefragt) weggenommen wurden. So spart man Laufwege. Nun, wir haben dann eben nicht weiter bestellt. Fragen, hätten wir gut gefunden. Das war an einem anderen Tag. Fazit: Tolle Location mit ordentlich Potenzial. Personal (im Grunde nett) aber völlig fehl am Platz. Also so völlig und komplett Struktur &- Orientierungslos. Wir kommen wieder, aber ich befürchte, dass der Punkt „of no return“ kommen wird. Flammkuchen ist übrigens gut.

Tolle Location direkt am Wasser, sehr nettes Ambiente. Dafür volle Punktzahl. Der Aperol Spritz ist lecker, aber mit 9 Euro völlig überteuert. Hier lässt man sich die Lage bezahlen. Wir hatten zuerst bestellt und dann erst auf die Karte geschaut - das passiert uns nicht mehr!

Dieses Lokal steht bei uns ganz in der Nachbarschaft, und wenn immer ich am Schiersteiner Hafen bin, trinke oder esse ich etwas dort mit dem Blick auf Booten im Wasser… sie haben auch eine ganz nette und zuvorkommende Bedienung, Frau Stück, die immer dabei bemüht ist zu wissen, ob bei uns alles in Ordnung ist oder ob wir etwas noch bestellen möchten.
