All praise for the service in the restaurant. The atmosphere is beautiful. We had the honor of being served by the owner of the restaurant who is very professional in her job, which is evident because there was not a single empty seat in the establishment. Unfortunately, I can't recommend it. The fries were soggy, and there was too much oil in the dishes. There's a lot of room for improvement.

If you like tough meat, this is the place for you. Paying more than you eat is also spot on. We will never visit this restaurant again!!!

I recently went here for dinner with a business partner. We were hungry and were recommended the Croatian restaurant at SV Erbenheim. And it was really good. The owner, Rada, is in the kitchen herself, and the food is incredibly delicious. We had several courses: octopus, minced steak, appetizers, and the obligatory crepes for dessert. We also had a Croatian wine. Everything was perfect. Even the way the plates were presented showed a lot of love. And the young, friendly waitress was really efficient. We weren't expecting that. So, full marks from the bottom of our hearts, just as we experienced it. Thank you so much!!!

An excellent Croatian restaurant. The menu is extensive, and everything is always freshly prepared. The owner also accommodates individual requests, such as those with lactose intolerance and similar issues. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. We've been coming back for many years. The negative reviews from a former employee simply have to be ignored...

The workers work with dirty hands, and we suffered acute poisoning and were treated for a month. The doctor told us that bacteria had formed in the food, most likely absorbed from the soil.

What a celebration! Our wedding at Maestral was absolutely amazing. Rada organized everything with so much passion – we didn't have to worry about a thing. The venue was cozy and stylish, the food was top-notch, and the team was simply fantastic. If we could, we would get married again – right there!

We poisoned ourselves here. The State Hospital prescribed us an antibiotic and ordered the relevant authorities and instructions that the restaurant be closed due to the investigation into food contamination caused by dirty hands. I am German. Caution Abuse of her own people in the kitchen, who work for €200 a month. As you can see from the response, the landlady is an evil woman who is building a luxury in Široki Brijeg by killing people with food that is past its due date.

Two unforgettable celebrations in the Maestral Restaurant – quality that lasts! I have to honestly say: I'm sorry that I'm only writing this review now - because what the Maestral restaurant and its wonderful owner Rada have done for us should have been publicly recognized long ago! We were recently able to celebrate the baptism of our son Toni Ivan there with around 60 guests - and it was simply phenomenal! But it wasn't the first time: two and a half years ago we held our daughter Antea's christening party at Maestral - also a complete success! And what is really impressive: After almost three years, the quality was not only constant, but even better! The food – a rich buffet – was freshly prepared and of excellent quality. Viennese-style schnitzel, cevapcici, stuffed pljeskavice, tender pork fillet in sauce and side dishes including grilled vegetables, fries, Djuvec rice and, as an absolute highlight: tagliatelle tossed in butter were served! There were also two different salads at the buffet. A strong, fresh beef soup was served as a starter - exactly the kind you would want for a celebration so that the guests could regain their strength from the long journey and mass, as was the case with us! The wine list is convincing, the service is attentive, warm and professional! The kitchen delivers at the highest level! The surrounding area is also perfect for family celebrations: a beautiful summer terrace, an adjacent sports field for the children and plenty of parking spaces directly on site. Rada leads the Maestral with noticeable dedication - and you can see that in every detail. Anyone looking for something to complain about here will have a hard time finding it. One thing is certain for us: Maestral is a permanent address for special occasions - with consistent quality at absolutely fair prices. We celebrated a big family celebration here in February. There were 40-50 people and everyone was very happy. The food came at the same time and everyone enjoyed it wonderfully. The service has really been fantastic. Very quick and attentive. You can really count yourself lucky to have found such employees ◡̈

I had often heard from friends/relatives that it was good. Yesterday I was able to convince myself. We had the octopus salad, cevapcici and bacon-wrapped chicken. Everything delicious. There are also a few parking spaces. It certainly wasn't the last visit. Thumbs up!

Yes – everything else was very positive – except, unfortunately, there's no ramp for the disabled. Seven steps are impossible for my son-in-law in his wheelchair.

I did not have chance to try the food, but staff did not want to work or have any business after 21:30. We walked in at 21:31. Restaurant was open. There were couple tables with people. Working hours online and on the restaurant door/menu indicated it shall be open until 23:00. But waitresses and bar lady said they are close at the moment we walked. I guess they did not like we spoke English. Be aware. Do not trust what is written in reviews.

So far I've only been there to take away. I can recommend it because it tastes almost like my mother's, who comes from Dalmatia. It's like you're eating at their house. Always friendly, organized and lots of long-established people there. Even today, when SV Erbenheim plays, there is a homely atmosphere. Hvala lijepo

The food was very tasty and everything was good until the main course. I would have liked to order a dessert and an espresso afterwards but we were rigorously ignored. Not even the plates from the main course were cleared away. We finally had to go to the counter to pay. The service leaves a lot to be desired. Too bad!

Disgraceful service! No answer possible without speaking to the boss by telephone. We wanted to drink a bottle of wine and were given absurd prices. The order was incorrectly recorded due to a lack of knowledge of German. We had to pay significantly more than we ordered. Despite sales of over 100 euros, it's not clear. We were all made out to be liars at the table. Absolutely unacceptable. This is no way to treat restaurant guests! We've enjoyed coming here so far. This was probably our last visit.

Orden equivocada tomada debido a la falta de conocimiento del alemán. Tuvimos que pagar mucho más de lo que pedimos. A pesar de una facturación de más de 100 euros, no hay entendimiento. You can eat wonderful Croatian food here. As a guest you are warmly welcomed and the staff is really very friendly and attentive. A reservation is recommended. On a Sunday lunchtime the restaurant was very busy, but spontaneous guests were also able to get seats. Parking spaces are available and if there is a football game at the sports field next door, you just have to park a little further.

Geschmacklich waren alle Gerichte sehr gut. Bei der Leber war die Portion aus unser Sicht ‚zu überschaubar‘, da sollte etwas ‚nachgebessert‘ werden. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Kartenzahlung möglich.

We celebrated our wedding (40 people) in the Maestral restaurant last December. The reservation was very short notice, but everything went smoothly. First of all, I would like to highlight the entire team at the restaurant, it is rare to find such friendly, helpful and absolutely professional staff anymore. From the champagne reception to the food and the decoration, the day was completely perfect for us. So much effort was put into implementing our wishes and ideas. Sometimes we can't believe what this team has done during normal restaurant operations to make our day as carefree as possible. The waitresses were always on hand and no one had to wait for anything. But today, here on this day, there was something that I like, the tables were decorated, that fascinated us again. A lot of work has been done carefully here. The staff was just running around, we had a nice beer sit. The girls, super neat, are really nice as always. The evening was wonderful, we'll be back, that's for sure. ______________________________ SHORTLY BEFORE THE HOLIDAY, quickly again, to Erbenheim Maestral. Here on the menu, however, I read something about chicken wings. That's what inspired me at first, I don't know that, I'll try it. As a starter, I actually have a healthy leaf salad. The chicken dip was perfect, I really liked it. My wife, who likes fish, ordered the "Holy Flounder" because it was sure she says promptly, also coming from our North Sea. Ganz gleich wann wir bisher im Mastreal waren, wir sind immer zufrieden - ach eigentlich viel mehr als das. Diesmal war es ein Sonntag, mit Reservierung für ein Geburtstagsessen mit der Familie. Die Karte wurde mit Vorspeise und Dessert rauf und runter bestellt und alles kam frisch, lecker und wunderbar angerichtet. Das Rumsteak war soooooo zart - ein Traum. Leber und Lammkottlets wurden komplett verspeist - Teller ablecken, wegen der feinen Soße, darf man ja im Restaurant nicht ;-) Bei der Reservierung wurde gefragt, ob das "Geburtstagskind" männlich oder weiblich sei und entsprechend war der Tisch farblich geschmückt. Darüber hinaus gab es noch ein Stück Torte mit Fontäne und Musik für das Geburtstagskind sowie eine Runde Schnaps aufs Haus. Das alles bei super freundlichem Service. Preis/Leistung ist der Hammer, wir kommen gerne und immer wieder!

We had: grilled cheese, peppers stuffed with feta cheese, Caesar salad, liver, plates. All very good quality. It was well prepared and tasted great.

A wonderful evening with very tasty food. My insider tip for meat lovers. Whether lamb chops or steak, schnitzel or cordon bleu, the quality of the meat leaves nothing to be desired. Eating here is like coming home. You are warmly welcomed, served courteously, always with a smile and the head chef comes into the restaurant every now and then to ask if everything is ok. I have rarely if ever experienced such an attentive staff and boss. One of the reasons why I always enjoy coming here. And the food always impresses. Always fresh, always delicious, incredibly fresh and tasty meat, fish, seafood. Side dishes made and presented with high quality fresh produce. These women here, the collaboration and solidarity, it's like a big family. Thank you for the always great experience with you.
