We visited the restaurant on the evening of June 29, 2013, with four people. The service was very attentive—although only two other tables were occupied. Regarding the food: The fish soup (Soupe de Poisson) was finely balanced and light. The ladies thoroughly enjoyed the bruschettas. However, the homemade crab salad suffered from being served far too cold. Of the main courses, only the crispy fried zander fillet deserved praise. With the leaf salad with turkey breast, two pieces of hard-boiled chicken egg were served without comment instead of the promised quail eggs. When ordering, no one asked for the dressing; they simply added balsamic vinegar, which didn't bother the guest at this point, as they would have ordered it anyway. The pasta with salmon and truffle, however, seems to come from a "fat over everything" cuisine that was long thought to have been overcome. The greasy mush served here has little in common with Mediterranean lightness. In short, more work needs to be done to live up to the self-chosen slogan "simply better food." If I checked "good" here, I mean: it can still be significantly improved if you want to attract regular customers rather than just overnight guests.

We recently visited with a large group (family reunion). The ambiance and the staff were very friendly, so there was almost nothing to criticize. Unfortunately, one dish was completely forgotten, although it was quickly brought out later. However, the price/performance ratio was completely off, even though it was a high-priced dish. A real shame. But all in all, we had a lovely family gathering.

Vestische Str. 45A small restaurant with good pizzas. The ambiance is very interesting, but it still has a lot of potential. It's obvious that they don't have enough storage space; you can see Metro glass cartons, carbonated drinks bottles, etc. in many corners. We found that a real shame. Luckily, we had enough cash with us, as card payments aren't accepted at the moment.

Steinbrinkstraße 221We were there last week. It will likely be our last time. The owner is unfriendly, and the clientele isn't exactly familiar from Disneyland. The worst part, though, is that cheap beer is being sold as premium beer. I'm not going to let myself be fooled. I think it's worth reporting to the public order office. Guests have to be protected.

Steinbrinkstraße 147The restaurant was packed on Saturday evening before Christmas... but no wonder! With such a friendly team and truly perfect food, it's no surprise that the restaurant is so popular. We were thrilled and don't regret not having been there much sooner. Many thanks to the team for the wonderful evening!
