We happened to visit Retsinadiko in May for my friend's birthday and were so impressed that we absolutely wanted to come back. Even though we live a bit further away, we love coming here! The food is simply delicious, and they even make souvlaki (chicken skewers) upon request – highly recommended. Making a reservation was easy and advisable. A fantastic Greek restaurant that we wholeheartedly recommend!

One of the best Greek restaurants in Stuttgart. Excellent grilled meat and fish, and delicious appetizers. The typical taverna atmosphere you'd find in Greece. Even nicer in the summer when the beer garden is open. They offer specials every day of the week. The restaurant is so popular that it can sometimes be difficult to get a reservation, so you should plan ahead.

Authentic Greek food. I had chtipiti as a starter, which was plentiful and good. Souvlaki as a main course: the meat was a bit marbled, but that's often the case in Greece. Service wasn't the fastest (my empty plates were there for about 15 minutes), but it was full, so I don't want to overstate it; the staff were friendly. One point deducted for being the only guest, seated in front of the toilet despite there being free tables. Overall, I was very satisfied, especially with the house retsina; I'd go back.

Simple put, the best Greek restaurant in Stuttgart. The food is banging, on Tuesdays they have a special on fish, which has some amazing calamari. Also the oiled chill peppers are amazing, some of the best I have ever had. They also give an orzo shot, so that is a fun way to end the meal.

The meat is good, and they have steakhouse fries. The souvlaki comes on wooden skewers, making it difficult to cut. The knives are only moderately sharp. The octopus is okay, with a mild flavor and a rather tender texture, almost a bit floury. Coca-Cola is available, but only in 0.2-liter bottles.

If you're going to eat Greek food in Stuttgart, it's definitely here. The Retsinadiko is noticeably different and very refreshing from the run-of-the-mill Greek restaurants in the area.

The four of us were there for the first time, it was recommended by a friend. Fantastic food, just great. We had a mixed starter plate, just ask when ordering, it's not on the menu, but you can put it together individually! Great service! For the main course we had a fish platter and a mixed meat platter for two people. It doesn't get any better! Delicious! And afterwards a freshly made Greek mocha! We are very satisfied and will come back!

We recommend the starters (Mese), very authentic. The general food like gyros, suvlaki etc are prepared with love. Prices are approaching the upper limit. The atmosphere is very nice, almost Greek ;-). Unfortunately, when the restaurant is full, which it almost always is, it is very loud. At some point you get a headache from it, or from the ouzo.

El restaurante estaba lleno este sábado por la noche, 26 de abril - pero eso no impidió que nuestro servidor fuera muy agradable y muy servicial para nosotros. No podemos esperar a volver. Algunos de nuestros artículos favoritos que tuvimos incluyen el dip de tzatziki, las opciones de carne a la carta, el branzino entero y el pan fresco. ¡No podemos esperar a volver!

The food was very tasty, the service was super friendly and attentive. What was particularly nice was that we were able to exceed the time window – a big plus! Unfortunately it was quite loud at times and a bit cramped, which was probably due to the small space. Overall, a very successful visit!

Is there a better Greek restaurant? Answer: definitely not! Customers there for years and every time it's a dream. Everything fits. Food is crazy...

So...if you want to go out for a real Greek meal, this is the place for you. Atmosphere like in Akritohori (small village in Greece). We often travel to Thessaloniki and northern Greece and what can we say? whether you eat there or at Retsinadiko in Fellbach you won't notice any difference. We will be very happy to come back. A tip from us: “register in advance” Because of course we weren't the only ones who discovered the service, the delicious starters and the homely atmosphere. So a Gali Orexi at the Retsinadiko in Stuttgart Feuerbach and best wishes to the crew from the Welzheim German-Greeks .

The friendly young waitress is fantastic! She runs the place and remains calm, friendly, and service-oriented even when it's at full capacity. The meze for two is recommended. The gyro was unfortunately lukewarm, rather cold. Unfortunately, it's very loud in the tavern, and you can barely hear your fellow diners. But a good conversation with friends really rounds off an evening. That's not possible there, as the incredible number of guests are crammed in, who are then forced to sit and eat cramped on narrow, wobbly chairs and tables of varying heights. Dear hosts, less is more here.

Das Retsinadiko im Stuttgarter Stadtteil Feuerbach ist ein bekanntes, sehr beliebtes, griechisches Restaurant, welches mittlerweile in der dritten Generation besteht. Aufgrund von Empfehlungen mehrerer Bekannter (und der anschließenden Recherche hier auf Tripadvisor), einem aktuellen Hang zu griechischer Küche und letztlich aus einer guten Laune heraus ging es an einem Dienstag mit meiner erwachsenen Tochter also nach Feuerbach ins Retsinadiko. Eine gute Stunde vor dem Entern des Lokals telefonisch die Lage gechecked, um nicht mit langem Gesicht und leerem Magen den Eject machen zu müssen: Ja, 18:15, zwei Personen, kein Problem, ist notiert, wir freuen uns auf Sie… Beim Eintreten ins Lokal standen wir vermutlich zwei der drei Generationen der Betreiberfamilie gegenüber, die uns wirklich freundlich begrüßten, nach der Reservierung fragten und uns sogleich an unsere Plätze führten. Der Gastraum ist, dem Gebäude entsprechend, über Eck, für vielleicht 70 Gäste, je nach Aufteilung der Tische, geeignet. Das Restaurant selbst ist in einem Eckhaus untergebracht, das vermutlich in der Blütezeit des vorigen Jahrhunderts in Feuerbach gebaut wurde, war vielleicht mal eine klassische Eckkneipe: Der Eingang liegt genau an der Straßenecke. Die Einrichtung verorte ich als griechischen Landhausstil mit Hafenflair und Fischerdorf-Romantik. Nur unter uns: das ist meine Vermutung, denn ich kenne Griechenland nur aus Erzählungen von mit mir bekannten Griechen. Jedenfalls war unser Platz ziemlich in der Mitte der Ecke des Restaurant mit Blick auf Eingang, linker Flügel, rechter Flügel und der Theke hinter uns. Und wir waren mit die ersten Gäste an diesem Abend, was sich als sehr vorteilhaft erweisen sollte. Ein längerer Blick in die Karte: Klingt alles sehr lecker, ist gut beschrieben und es ist für jeden etwas dabei (jedoch habe ich nicht geschaut, ob es spezielle Gerichte für Nicht-Alles-Esser oder Kann-Nicht-Alles-Essen-Esser gibt. Wird man wahrscheinlich selbst beim Blick in die Karte auf deren Internet-Seite lesen können, wenn es interessiert). Wir entschieden uns beide für ‚was mit Gyros‘ und eine Vorspeise. Meine Tochter orderte einen panierten Fetakäse, gefolgt von einem Gyrosteller mit pommesmäßigen Kartoffelstreifen (werden anderswo Steakhousefries genannt) und natürlich Tzatziki. Für mich gab es einen kleinen Salat vorweg, anschließend einen Teller mit zwei kross gebratenen Spießen, Gyros, denselben Super-Pommes und auch Tzatziki. Ja, die obligatorischen Zwiebeln fehlen natürlich nicht. Es gibt rote Zwiebeln, was völlig iO ist und dem Geschmack entgegen kommt. Zunächst der panierte Feta: Etwas blass im Aussehen wie auch im Geschmack, hätte einige Augenblicke länger in der Fritteuse liegen sollen. Mein kleiner Salat war in Ordnung, nichts besonderes, ging in Richtung rustikal geschnippelt, die Oliven mit Kern. Die Hauptspeise folgte ein paar Minuten nachdem wir die Vorspeisen gegessen hatten. Also gutes Timing. Die breiten Fritten waren einigermaßen knusprig, stellenweise gut gewürzt, einige leider nicht. Das Gyros war zwar reichlich, aber weder knusprig, so wie man es kennt, noch gut gewürzt. Eher weich. Wir fanden es beinahe fade. Die beiden Spieße auf meinem Teller waren vom Kontaktgrill kross gebrutzelt, aber es fehlte meiner Ansicht nach an der Würze. Stellenweise wirklich zu viel Fett am Fleisch. Das Tzatziki war leider wenig hitverdächtig, eher etwas für zarte Gemüter. Also soft und gefällig. Da konnte die augenscheinliche Menge leider nichts wett machen, wobei das nur für meine Tochter gilt: Die sonst üblichen Portionen in griechischen Restaurants werden im Retsinadiko nicht geboten. Zumindest nicht an diesem Tag. Was sonst noch auffiel: Es waren mehrere große Tische gebucht, deren Besucher peu à peu eintrudelten und für eine etwas lauter werdende Geräuschkulisse sorgten, dem Personal viel Aufmerksamkeit abverlangten und eben die stimmungsvolle Atmosphäre mitbrachten. Spricht natürlich für dieses Restaurant. Daher an dieser Stelle: Wer ins Retsinadiko möchte, sollte wirklich unbedingt reservieren. Sonst passiert es, daß man leider nur draußen die Speisekarte lesen kann und woanders Hunger und Durst stillen muss. Kleiner Tipp an dieser Stelle: Gegenüber ist das Vesuvio und bietet beste Pizza an😋 Als das Restaurant gut gefüllt war, ließ die Aufmerksamkeit des Serviceteams etwas nach, was natürlich verständlich war. Die Preise für die Speisen finde ich angemessen, auch wenn wir an diesem Abend nicht von den Speisen überzeugt waren. Es fehlte uns die Würze und der gewisse Pepp. Schade eigentlich. Da ich selbst einige Tage vorher in Ludwigsburg in einem griechischen Restaurant zu Abend gegessen habe, somit einen beinahe direkten Vergleich machen kann, liegen für mich die Speisen im Retsinadiko leider etwas abgeschlagen weiter hinten. Trotzdem ist es ein nettes und vor allen Dingen sehr beliebtes Restaurant, das man ohne vorherige Reservierung beinahe nicht besuchen kann. Daher eine klare Empfehlung: Erst anrufen oder online reservieren, oder eben mit hohem Risiko eintrudeln und vermutlich, wie an diesem Abend mehrmals beobachtet und so geschehen, bedauerlicherweise abgewiesen zu werden. Das Team vom Retsinadiko ist sehr bemüht, wirklich ausgesprochen freundlich und man spürt die Authentizität. Und noch für die Ouzo-nach-dem-Essen-Fraktion: Nein, wir bekamen keinen Ouzo.
