The positive thing is that the staff is so friendly and on the ball. The schnitzel didn't cause any particular taste explosion. The portion is large and you will be full. It's nice to sit in the beer garden, but after a little more than an hour your butt starts to hurt a little from the chairs.

Nice atmosphere, very good food and a really great waiter (with an Irish (?) accent). He was really friendly, always there and yet not intrusive. A really nice evening because everything was just perfect. Downtown location, so no parking spaces in front of the front door. And there are some stairs to climb with an elevator anyway, in case that's problematic for a reader.

Everything is wonderful. Great schnitzel. Good dark beers. Very fast and attentive service! We recommend.

Food, service and ambience are almost top. It's nice that there are pierogies here. Unfortunately a bit dry, otherwise really great.

The food was OK but not exceptional. Unfortunately, the portion size of the beef goulash was not appropriate for the price. Since it started to rain, we as a group were more or less "compensated" - the beer garden obviously didn't need any sales.

Hello...we were in the beer garden in great weather and it was very full but we were served very quickly and the drinks and food were at the table quite quickly The prices are completely OK. We had the schnitzel with champions for €19.90 (really big portion) PS. We also got a few tips on where to go in the evening in Nuremberg and have a party... a big THANK YOU to our waitress RONJA See you soon and I would always come back to eat with you.

It's not Vienna, but I'm starting to feel like I need to lower my expectations a bit when it comes to home cooking in Nuremberg and the surrounding area. The restaurant seems to be a little more than just a restaurant, it is also a center of German-Polish cultural exchange, which is also why there are many Polish dishes on the menu. Wiener Schnitzel soft and large but a bit too dark, already wet in the middle. Fries a bit too few. Many housewives of the former monarchy would have done better. Bigos is a matter of taste, the Slovakian Kapustnica, which is a soup with identical ingredients, is better. If you have bigos, then please include pork and bacon too, not just sausages. But my mistake, I knew what I was getting and ordered it anyway. Salads were huge portions. Correct place. Unfortunately no soup on the menu. A pity.

Dedicated and nice staff. Unfortunately, Schäuferle was out, according to the waiter, Obadzder had caraway (but several of the people sitting next to us had it without), and the sausage salad was mediocre. Prices are rather high, especially for the drinks.

Bei wiederkehrendem Starkregen einen Tisch im Biergarten ohne Regenschutz zuzuweisen ist schon frech. Wenn es ins Bier regnet ist es schon ärgerlich, aber auf Speisen ist einfach nur dreist. Argument: "wir sind halt ein Biergarten"... unglaublich.

Definitely worth a visit but book beforehand as it's always full. Food is delicious and service was fast and friendly 😄 lovely beer garden with umbrellas outside, however, everyone can smoke anywhere outside which we found very unpleasant as we are non smokers.

The most beautiful beer garden in Nuremberg

One of the particularly beautiful beer gardens in Nuremberg with its very own ambience! The cuisine is excellent, the service is always friendly and attentive, the prices are reasonable and the portions are generous. We had made a reservation for our visit (highly recommended as it is always very well booked), the journey is suitable for almost any means of transport (bicycle parking, subway and tram stops a short distance away, and there is a nearby parking garage for drivers). The menus (winter and summer) can be viewed online... Addendum from June 12, 2024: Once again a particularly pleasant stay in the beer garden, very attentive and friendly staff, great food and of course the drinks always taste great...😀

A beer garden in a special place - high on the old town wall. From a culinary point of view, there is both classic beer garden food and Polish delicacies. I can only warmly recommend the pierogies. In addition, the staff is really friendly and you immediately feel very comfortable. An activity opportunity for the little ones would be the icing on the cake.

The restaurant is beautifully located on the city wall. We sat in the battlement and in the evening we could enjoy the sun from the sunset there. That was really nice. The service was incredibly friendly and attentive - but not intrusive. We ate schnitzel with fries and had a salad with it. The salad was well portioned for a side salad and the dressing was tasty. The schnitzel is super good there. I have rarely eaten such a good and large schnitzel. For the amount of schnitzel you get, the price is very fair. You should definitely make a reservation.

Wonderful beer garden with very friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. We were served very quickly and drinks and food came very quickly. As good eaters, we found the portions extremely large and couldn't finish everything. But otherwise it was super good and we went home very satisfied.

Finally got here on my third attempt and it didn't disappoint! Food is phenomenal (the gravy with the roast pork is an absolute poem) - beers are also excellent. Pricing is very, very good for Nürnberg city centre and service was prompt and friendly. A true hidden gem!

The food was nothing special, the service was a disaster. I had dumplings filled with minced meat this week. They were extremely dry. The salad I had with it was sandy. I constantly had sand in my mouth, so I didn't eat the salad anymore. We wanted to add salt to our food and we got it We don't like the fact that other dishes taste good, but I personally had a disappointment. Everyone has to decide for themselves whether they want to eat there or not.

Most beautiful beer garden far and wide 💕

The schnitzel here is absolutely huge! It's the size of the entire plate, so much so that the side of potatoes that came with it sat under the schnitzel itself. Everything was delicious and had great flavor. The chicken in the white wine cream sauce was so tender and juicy it practically melted in your mouth. This restaurant is on the top floor of the tower that it sits in. And you can either sit and enjoy the biergarten, or you can sit indoors where the tables cross the bridge and ramparts. Strongly recommend going for a non touristy, off the beaten path destination.

Highly recommended location. Motivated, friendly staff invite you to linger here. We didn't have a reservation, but they did everything possible to ensure that we could stay for a few hours. The food is outstanding! The Polish-Franconian mixture was very well received. Keep it up👍 PS: The beer selection is definitely worth a mention too. There really is something for everyone here.

This is some of the best food for the price that we had in all of Germany. It is polish food, so it will be slightly different than the German locations. The schnitzel is a must try! Our waitress was very busy and still did a great job of helping us out. The beers are, of course, great and the dessert was great. This should be on your list to have while in Nuremberg.

Al margine della Città antica, sul fiume con un ponte di legno coperto dove sorge parte del Biergarten, Kopernikus e’ un ottimo ristorante dove mangiare sia le Solite specialità bavaresi che piatti diversi come la shiztnel con i funghi, il gulash con la birra o L’insalata di asparagi bianchi di stagione. We had visited Nuremberg and wanted to end the day in a beer garden. It's great that we ended up here. We didn't have a reservation, but the friendly staff gave us a table. Fresh draft beer, including from several local breweries, was served quickly. The service was very friendly and positive - you could feel a good working atmosphere. The food was also great. Fresh salad with goat cheese and Franconian roast pork with dumpling - very tasty. Thank you, keep it up - we'll definitely come by again...!

I can recommend it. Very nice castle atmosphere. It's just a bit confusing to find, as it doesn't say "Restaurant Kopernikus" anywhere. It just says “Kraków Tower” everywhere Other than that, the food was delicious, the portions were generous and the price was reasonable. It's a bit noisy, but that's how it is in a beer garden. Dogs are allowed and are even provided a bowl of water.

First address on every visit to Nuremberg: Franconian beer garden atmosphere and delicious food. However, you MUST make a reservation, otherwise you most likely won't get in.

As always, good quality and friendly service. Prices have been raised quite a bit, but unfortunately that's the case everywhere. The only thing I don't recommend from the menu is the Wroclaw salad with run-of-the-mill spring rolls.

In the summer there is a very nice beer garden with various Franconian beers. The food was excellent, starting with the schnitzel and pirroggen to the Schäufele on Sunday. Always nice staff even when it's stressful

Great beer garden in summer. Nice atmosphere inside. There is a draft like pike soup on the windows. Unfortunately, the food has gotten worse and worse over the last year and at the same time the prices have risen steeply. Finally ordered a sparkling mineral water and got more or less table water. The bottle seems to have been opened forever. Even after the two complaints we only received something reasonably acceptable. With Cordon Bleu, the edges are fried together like the sole of a shoe and the cheese inside is virtually non-existent. What a shame! You used to be able to eat really decent food here. Unfortunately now only recommended for a beer in the summer.

Foarte frumos și primitor. Mâncarea excelentă, porțiile sunt foarte mari, o porție ajunge pentru două persoane. Berea diversă și foarte bună. Personalul este foarte amabil. Te poți bucura de prezența oamenilor din diferite țări ale Europei și toți par că se simt foarte bine.

Bisschen Abseits vom Touristenstrom fanden wir hier ein fantastisch polnisch-fränkisches Abendessen. Bier vom Fass mittlerweile auch hier €4.80/0.5 L, aber ansonsten sehr gutes Preis/Leistungs-Verhältnis. Schweinebraten und Pierogi (mit viel Salat) sehr zu empfehlen und riesig! Stammgäste, Einheimische, und Besucher fühlen sich hier Seit' an Seit' wohl. Wir kommen wieder! P.S.: Wir kamen kurz vor Weihnachten, und konnten somit die Magie des Biergartens nicht geniessen.

Das Essen war schnell da, trotz großer Gruppe, und hat auch gut geschmeckt. Der Service war schnell und aufmerksam, obwohl es nur eine Person für Bar und Service für die ganze Gruppe war. Was uns nicht so gefallen hat, war die Kälte im unteren Nebenraum, dadurch dass die Tür nach außen immer offen stand, wurde das auch nicht besser. Außerdem hat der Raum so gehallt, dass mir nach kürzester Zeit die Ohren geklingelt haben bei 25 Leuten. Vielleicht probieren wir es nochmal im Sommer.

Sehr leckeres Essen, viel Hunger mitbringen, am besten vorher reservieren. Dank der sehr netten Bedienung haben wir ohne Reservierung einen Tisch bekommen. Waren schon öfter da und werden beim nächsten Nürnberg Besuch wieder dahin gehen. Leider ist die Bewertung irgendwie hängen geblieben, das war letztes Jahr, kurz vor Weihnachten. Aber trotzdem zu empfehlen. Am 20.12.2023 wieder da gewesen, vorher reservieren ist empfehlenswert. Wie immer sehr leckeres Essen. Super freundliche Bedienung. Gerne wieder

Hervorragendes Essen und sehr guter Service. Man muss auf jeden Fall vorher reservieren. Nicht wundern, von außen nicht sofort zu sehen. Einfach die Treppe nach oben gehen. Wir waren zu 8 und es hat alles geschmeckt. Einziger Minuspunkt: wir hatten den Tisch am Fenster und da dieses undicht ist, hat es sehr gezogen, was im Winter sehr kalt ist.

Tolle Hausmannskost wie man es Zuhause bei der Lieblingsoma erwarten würde. Einfach, klassisch und gut... besonders gut hat mit die Borschtsch mit russischen Piroggen gefallen als Vorspeise. Ein freundlicher und schneller Service hat zusätzlich unserer Weihnachtsfeier der Firma einen schönen Rahmen gegeben.

Immer einen Besuch wert. Vorzugsweise im Sommer im Biergarten auf der alten Stadtmauer. Die Portionen sind riesig, die Preise top. Traditionelle polnische Küche.

Wir bekamen sehr gutes Essen, die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Bier ist (leider wie überall) sehr teuer geworden, ansonsten passt das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.
