I ate here with colleagues and had Franconian roast pork with dark beer gravy, along with a beer. The service was professionally friendly and the atmosphere was nice, but it was very noisy in the dining room and the gravy was too bitter for my taste because of the beer. Otherwise, it was okay. Definitely worth a visit.

The male staff is handsome and incredibly friendly. The tips just flow out naturally. The food is absolutely delicious. If you order the mushroom cream schnitzel, you can get French fries as a side, which are really good. The schnitzel is also delicious. The portions are generous, and if you ask them to take any leftovers home, they'll kindly pack them for you. Koreans, don't wander around and come here!

This was my first time here today, and I have to say we were a very large group and had the downstairs room. The server was AMAZING!!! Super friendly and helpful, and managed perfectly despite the large number of people ordering at once. I had the cream schnitzel with buttered spaetzle, and it was absolutely delicious. The portion was very generous, which was a good thing because it was so good. The schnitzel was easy to cut and eat, the sauce was the best I've had in ages, and the spaetzle were a perfect complement. I would definitely recommend it. Thank you for the wonderful evening I was able to spend with you.

The upstairs dining room was beautifully decorated, the staff were all very friendly, and the food and drinks were delicious. The portions were generous, so the prices were absolutely reasonable. Drink prices are now at a fairly standard high level.

The schnitzel and cheese filled perogies were AMAZING! The portions are HUGE and the service was perfect! Tina was our waitress tonight and she was so friendly, kind, helpful, and fun. What a great place to go eat and have a beer and glass of wine! I wish we could go back. I do recommend a reservation.

The food was delicious and the atmosphere in the restaurant itself is authentic, but it was very, very loud :( We were sitting on the first floor, or upstairs, and the room probably had too many guests for it or perhaps even more than is usually the case. There were two large groups of men there who were very loud. We could hardly have a conversation at our table, so we skipped dessert because it was really unpleasantly loud.

And Lara is still there, and I can only confirm my review from last year: After a long time, I'm writing another review, but today Lara provided the best service I've ever experienced there. Absolutely to the point, quick but not rushed, attentive but not intrusive, remembered all requests the first time and fulfilled them at the right time without having to ask... wow, the beer garden was packed and therefore loud, and yet Lara delivered such a great service. Top, 5 stars plus... Beautiful beer garden, fast service. The food is good and plentiful. The drinks menu is extensive and delicious. Pleasant ambiance, also easily accessible by public transport. The only complaint I have is the menu, which, including the season tickets, hasn't changed in 15 years, and possibly even longer.

A beautiful beer garden and very friendly service give you the opportunity to relax and enjoy yourself. The Franconian beers on tap are great. My roast pork was delicious. My friends' pirocks, however, weren't so well received. Nevertheless, the ambiance in the Krakauer Turm is wonderful. Reservations are strongly recommended.

I'd give it a 10, too. We were there today without a reservation, it was full, and there was nothing to do. The friendly attendant gave us little hope, but was so nice that we decided to wait. 52 minutes later, we were rewarded with a table and spent a wonderful evening in the most amazing beer garden ever. They conjured up a table for us. Thanks again for that. The vegetarian snack would have been enough for three, as would the schnitzel, but we're greedy. And it was absolutely delicious! The entire service team is excellent. Go there (but make a reservation in advance) and have a wonderful evening.

Absolutely recommendable! This beer garden is definitely a 10/10. Super delicious food, very generous portions, and everything homemade with lots of love. I've rarely eaten such a delicious potato salad that tastes like grandma's. But everything else was also truly fantastic! Plus, a fantastic atmosphere, incredibly friendly staff, and you can just tell the team loves their job with all their hearts. A huge compliment to the entire team. We'd love to come back!

I've been going to this restaurant for over seven years. The food and the restaurant are excellent; every time someone visits me in Nuremberg, I take them all with me, and they're all thrilled. The excellent selection of local beers is particularly noteworthy. Despite the increased prices, I'm a loyal visitor. However, recently, a more Franconian hospitality has become the order of the day, something the owner should take a closer look at. While it's well known that Franconians are generally grumpy and not considered the most talkative or cosmopolitan, the service has become increasingly Franconian over the last two visits. Even my friend from North Rhine-Westphalia, who accompanied me, recently said that the service was almost insulting and exceptionally sharp. I said that Franconians are certainly their own kind, but it was a bit much even for me. Perhaps the owner can pay more attention to service and staff in the future. Otherwise, top notch.

Great beer garden, right by Nuremberg's city wall. We arrived 30 minutes before closing and were very kindly informed that we could still get something to eat if we ordered quickly. We were even able to eat in peace. The food was excellent as always, and the service was very friendly! The ambiance is fantastic anyway...exactly how food should be. A reservation for four people made 26 days in advance for July 27th at 6:00 PM was not honored by the operator. During the reservation period, there was a light drizzle (according to the German Weather Service, 0.3 mm of precipitation at 19.4°C). The restaurant had decided to close the partially shaded roof terrace without replacement. No attempt was made to provide information via the restaurant's telephone number or email address. No alternative seating was offered in the indoor dining area on the first floor, which was still completely unoccupied at the time, or a delayed seat in the indoor restaurant area on the ground floor.

We highly recommend this restaurant. Very friendly staff, amazing views, and delicious food. The homemade lemonades are amazing.

Not your typical beer garden. Very nice ambiance. Great food. Plenty of umbrellas provide shade. Child-friendly.

We had a rough start. We actually wanted to have a drink and something to eat in the very chic beer garden. But then the rain came... The staff took great care of us and found us a seat in the restaurant. 👍 Once the rain cleared, we were able to get our old table back. Great! It tasted good, too. Next time, I'd order the pierogi boiled, not fried. We'll be back!

The food and atmosphere were very good. Highly recommended without a reservation. We got a table from 5:45 p.m. to 7 p.m. We had barely finished eating when the bill was taken, and at 6:55 p.m. we were "asked" to vacate the table. It's not exactly cozy. The food is okay, but not so outstanding that you can't find it anywhere else. Therefore, if you want to drop in spontaneously and have a leisurely second beer, I would strongly advise against it.

The food has even gotten better and more varied in recent months, especially for vegetarians. The food and drinks are affordable and reasonable. At the beginning I would like to point out that the opinion is subjective. I am only evaluating the bigos that I ordered. For me it was too sour - tomato paste and sauerkraut did their job. I did not notice any meat. There was only sausage, also of poor quality. I went there especially - because of Polish cuisine and I was a bit disappointed. Maybe I would not be disappointed, but I found out that the cook is Polish. But overall it is not bad if you do not expect Polish dishes.

The food is average, but you can unfortunately taste that not everything is homemade. But that's okay. The house beer, "Spalter," unfortunately, wasn't a good choice. The service was very friendly; you can tell the passion goes into their work.

The beer garden is very nice, but you also pay for the ambiance. The prices are high, but I found the food itself a bit disappointing. I had a venison goulash for almost €20, but the portion was so small that I didn't really feel full. It's fine for a drink, but I certainly wouldn't come back for the food.

I was more disappointed with the meal than I've been in a long time. The salad didn't have enough dressing, the pirrogi were nice and crispy on the outside but completely dry on the inside, and the minced meat tasted unseasoned and bland. (The texture was also like already cooked meat that had been ground through a grinder.) But if you want to relax and have a drink, you can do that here; it's a nice place. They won't be seeing me again as a guest who just wants to eat.

Very nice beer garden. The food was good and the beer selection is excellent. I was satisfied and will be back.

The service and ambiance were top-notch. A really nice beer garden with everything you need. You feel at home, and the service is prompt. Unfortunately, my meal wasn't good. I ordered a salad with chicken. The chicken was cooked well. But the rest was a disaster. Just iceberg lettuce with a few shriveled, halved tomatoes and dried-out cucumber slices. For just under 16 euros, you can usually get something lovingly prepared, substantial, with a variety of options, and refined in any upscale restaurant – here the salad was rather unimaginative and unconvincing. What a shame!

Went there spontaneously for lunch. Great beer garden. The waitress recommended a dark shandy to me which was really good, our order came quickly and was very tasty. The schnitzel (from the pan) is highly recommended, as is the potato salad. The roast pork was very tender and the bread dumplings (or potato dumplings) were great. See pictures ☺️. We'll be back 😎

Great service! Delicious food and large portions.

While exploring Nuremberg as part of my excursion, I unexpectedly came across the Krassemattentor. To my surprise, I discovered tables and chairs on the wooden bridge, creating an inviting restaurant ambience. I quickly realized that this was an extraordinary beer garden that was part of the “Restauration Kopernikus”. I spontaneously decided to take a break to soak up the special atmosphere of this place. A look at the menu revealed a selection of traditional and rustic dishes, with meat lovers sure to get their money's worth here. There were also one or two vegetarian options, but vegan dishes didn't seem to be part of the concept. I chose a snack with Edam cheese, which tasted solid. The prices were in the upper midfield, which seems quite reasonable given the unique location. What is particularly positive is the extremely friendly, attentive and prompt service. There's really nothing to complain about here! The absolute plus of this place is undoubtedly the unique ambience. Sitting on this historic wooden bridge and enjoying your food is something special. For that reason alone I can recommend a visit, to stop here for a moment and take in the atmosphere. Anyone who explores the Nuremberg city walls as a tourist and passes the Krassemattentor will find an ideal place for a break here. Lovers of traditional and rustic cuisine, especially meat-based dishes, will certainly find what they are looking for here. The special location, the unique ambience on the bridge and the excellent service make the visit a pleasant experience.

Without exception, everything here is extremely tasty and worth the price. The beer garden with trees is located at the top of the city wall. unique.

Franconian roast pork and the 🍺small breweries

We were at Kopernikus for the first time last Saturday. I called on Friday to make a reservation (for 3 people) and just got something. We ordered the Polish dishes Bigos and Pierogi, both of which tasted very good and authentic. For dessert we had the lukewarm chocolate cake with a liquid center and red wine cherries - a delight! The beer garden had probably just opened on Friday, so we sat outside, where you can sit comfortably and quietly. The service was very friendly and on the ball. The prices are moderate. We will definitely come back, next time maybe with friends.

We've been there several times and have always found it great. But the last time I was disappointed I have often ordered the snack platter and always found it beautifully prepared and very appealing but the last time it was something like eat or you're unlucky no green no vegetables.
