One of the most beautiful beer gardens in Nuremberg. The food is delicious, and I highly recommend the pierogi, in particular. The service was friendly and really quick! Prices are in line with the average. If you want to eat here, be sure to make a reservation in advance!

We had a rough start. We actually wanted to have a drink and something to eat in the very chic beer garden. But then the rain came... The staff took great care of us and found us a seat in the restaurant. 👍 Once the rain cleared, we were able to get our old table back. Great! It tasted good, too. Next time, I'd order the pierogi boiled, not fried. We'll be back!

The food and atmosphere were very good. Highly recommended without a reservation. We got a table from 5:45 p.m. to 7 p.m. We had barely finished eating when the bill was taken, and at 6:55 p.m. we were "asked" to vacate the table. It's not exactly cozy. The food is okay, but not so outstanding that you can't find it anywhere else. Therefore, if you want to drop in spontaneously and have a leisurely second beer, I would strongly advise against it.

The food has even gotten better and more varied in recent months, especially for vegetarians. The food and drinks are affordable and reasonable. The staff are super friendly, and you can see they enjoy their work! A definite 5-star recommendation from me!

At the beginning I would like to point out that the opinion is subjective. I am only evaluating the bigos that I ordered. For me it was too sour - tomato paste and sauerkraut did their job. I did not notice any meat. There was only sausage, also of poor quality. I went there especially - because of Polish cuisine and I was a bit disappointed. Maybe I would not be disappointed, but I found out that the cook is Polish. But overall it is not bad if you do not expect Polish dishes.

The food is average, but you can unfortunately taste that not everything is homemade. But that's okay. The house beer, "Spalter," unfortunately, wasn't a good choice. The service was very friendly; you can tell the passion goes into their work.

The beer garden is very nice, but you also pay for the ambiance. The prices are high, but I found the food itself a bit disappointing. I had a venison goulash for almost €20, but the portion was so small that I didn't really feel full. It's fine for a drink, but I certainly wouldn't come back for the food.

I was more disappointed with the meal than I've been in a long time. The salad didn't have enough dressing, the pirrogi were nice and crispy on the outside but completely dry on the inside, and the minced meat tasted unseasoned and bland. (The texture was also like already cooked meat that had been ground through a grinder.) But if you want to relax and have a drink, you can do that here; it's a nice place. They won't be seeing me again as a guest who just wants to eat.

Very nice beer garden. The food was good and the beer selection is excellent. I was satisfied and will be back.

The service and ambiance were top-notch. A really nice beer garden with everything you need. You feel at home, and the service is prompt. Unfortunately, my meal wasn't good. I ordered a salad with chicken. The chicken was cooked well. But the rest was a disaster. Just iceberg lettuce with a few shriveled, halved tomatoes and dried-out cucumber slices. For just under 16 euros, you can usually get something lovingly prepared, substantial, with a variety of options, and refined in any upscale restaurant – here the salad was rather unimaginative and unconvincing. What a shame!

Went there spontaneously for lunch. Great beer garden. The waitress recommended a dark shandy to me which was really good, our order came quickly and was very tasty. The schnitzel (from the pan) is highly recommended, as is the potato salad. The roast pork was very tender and the bread dumplings (or potato dumplings) were great. See pictures ☺️. We'll be back 😎

The food is great, the seating is very comfortable, the service is very nice and accommodating! Be careful, you have to walk up 2 floors to get to the beer garden - but as I said, it's worth it!

While exploring Nuremberg as part of my excursion, I unexpectedly came across the Krassemattentor. To my surprise, I discovered tables and chairs on the wooden bridge, creating an inviting restaurant ambience. I quickly realized that this was an extraordinary beer garden that was part of the “Restauration Kopernikus”. I spontaneously decided to take a break to soak up the special atmosphere of this place. A look at the menu revealed a selection of traditional and rustic dishes, with meat lovers sure to get their money's worth here. There were also one or two vegetarian options, but vegan dishes didn't seem to be part of the concept. I chose a snack with Edam cheese, which tasted solid. The prices were in the upper midfield, which seems quite reasonable given the unique location. What is particularly positive is the extremely friendly, attentive and prompt service. There's really nothing to complain about here! The absolute plus of this place is undoubtedly the unique ambience. Sitting on this historic wooden bridge and enjoying your food is something special. For that reason alone I can recommend a visit, to stop here for a moment and take in the atmosphere. Anyone who explores the Nuremberg city walls as a tourist and passes the Krassemattentor will find an ideal place for a break here. Lovers of traditional and rustic cuisine, especially meat-based dishes, will certainly find what they are looking for here. The special location, the unique ambience on the bridge and the excellent service make the visit a pleasant experience.

Without exception, everything here is extremely tasty and worth the price. The beer garden with trees is located at the top of the city wall. unique.

We were at Kopernikus for the first time last Saturday. I called on Friday to make a reservation (for 3 people) and just got something. We ordered the Polish dishes Bigos and Pierogi, both of which tasted very good and authentic. For dessert we had the lukewarm chocolate cake with a liquid center and red wine cherries - a delight! The beer garden had probably just opened on Friday, so we sat outside, where you can sit comfortably and quietly. The service was very friendly and on the ball. The prices are moderate. We will definitely come back, next time maybe with friends.

But the last time I was disappointed I have often ordered the snack platter and always found it beautifully prepared and very appealing but the last time it was something like eat or you're unlucky no green no vegetables. I tried both vegetarian pirozhki varieties. Unfortunately, neither of them really appealed to me in terms of flavor. There was either too much potato or too much spinach in the dumpling. I simply couldn't taste the other ingredients (cheese/mushrooms). The portions are very generous and offer good value for money. The service is exceptionally good! I've rarely experienced such attentive and cheerful servers. The location and ambiance are also top-notch.

And the Lara is still there and I can only confirm my review from last year: After a long time, another review from me but today the Lara showed the best service that I have ever experienced there. Absolutely to the point, quick but not hasty, attentive but not pushy, remembered all the wishes the first time and implemented them at the right time without having to ask... wow, the beer garden was full and therefore loud and yet Lara showed such a performance. Top, 5 stars plus... Nice beer garden, fast service. The food is good and rich. The drinks menu is extensive and delicious. Pleasant atmosphere, also easy to reach by public transport. The only thing I complain about is the menu, which, including the season tickets, hasn't changed for 15 years and possibly even longer.

I highly recommend it! Very good dumplings. It is worth making reservations before Christmas.

The Kopernikus is an absolutely top-run guesthouse in Nuremberg! 👍🏻 There is a well-mixed selection of dishes, all of which taste fantastic and are generously portioned for the price. The whole thing is rounded off by a motivated team and a rustic atmosphere. As a note to anyone new: the entrance is right next to the tunnel on the lower level. Me and others also ran in circles twice. You have to go directly to the 'Krakauer Haus'.

You really have to try the Button Mushroom Cream Schnitzel. They serve it with french fries and it's really crazy. I still remember the taste. Koreans must definitely add this when making plans..! The owner is so kind and fun! They kept talking to me and welcomed me even after I left. It was so delicious that I drank 4 glasses of beer.

Wir sind am 4.12.2024 mit Freunden zu unserem Abendessen gegangen, nur war unser vorbestellter Tisch (Vorbestellung von SEPTEMBER 2024) nicht reserviert und es war auch keine Möglichkeit einer anderen Platzwahl (wie uns die sehr nette Servierkraft gesagt hat). Es wurde dann auch noch der Chef der die Reservierung laut Mail bestätigt hat angerufen, aber er konnte auch nichts machen und tun wollen. Wir waren aber nicht die einzigen an diesem Abende, denn ein Herr mit 15 Personen (!!!!) hatte ebenfalls reserviert und den Termin bestätigt bekommen und wurde ebenfalls abgewiesen! Dieses Restaurant sieht mich sicher nicht mehr!!!! eine sehr enttäuschte Urlauberin aus Wien

A very quaint restaurant with excellent, friendly service. We had the pork Schnitzel which was just ok. It was a bit tough. It seemed like a nice place for the locals to go. We were guests at lunchtime with a group (14 people). I have to honestly say that I didn't expect much when I entered the rather inconspicuous, cool dining room. But we were taught otherwise. Very nice service. Great beer. All dishes were fantastic and more than enough (about too much). I would like to highlight the huge Cordon Bleu. Freshly baked, no frozen food or anything else. All dishes arrived at the same time, which is not a given in a group. We will definitely come back when we are in Nuremberg again.

I recently went to the Kopernikus restaurant and can only recommend it! The Polish food was incredibly tasty and the price-performance ratio was absolutely right. The portions are huge - we were more than full! I would particularly like to highlight the friendly and attentive service, which made our stay even more pleasant. We'll definitely be back!!!!

Zuvörderst sei angemerkt: Rechtzeitiges Reservieren ist notwendig. Direkt an der Stadtmauer (teils in der Stadtmauer am Kasemattentor) liegt das Kopernikus zentrumsnah und trotzdem recht ruhig. Die Restauration hat eine sehr große Kapazität, erstreckt sich über mehrere Gasträume und Außenflächen. Der Biergarten ist mit alten Bäumen und eigenem Tresen schön urig. Schon an der Tür zum Krakauerhaus beginnt die Organisation. Eine Mitarbeiterin mit Reservierungsliste und Funkgerät kontaktierte Ihren Kollegen im Biergarten - unser Platz war soeben fertig geworden. Ein Kollege begleitete uns bis zum Tisch, umgehend wurden uns die Karten ausgehändigt. Unsere Bedienung war ein junger Mann mit Schalk im Nacken. Schnell und unaufdringlich. Sehr angenehm. Die Speisekarte enthält neben den üblichen fränkischen Klassikern und Biergartenevergreens - passend zum Krakauerhaus - auch polnische und osteuropäische Speisen. Die Bestellung ging zügig vonstatten. Die Zubereitung der Speisen ebenso. Hierbei fällt aus, dass die meisten Gerichte eine Art Grundstock an Salat und Beilagen mitbringen. Die von uns ausgewählten Piroggen russischer Art und die Brotzeitplatte machen dabei keine Ausnahmen. Dank des großen Durchlaufs ist alles knackfrisch. Übrigens läuft alles sehr routiniert und ruhig ab. Keiner macht hier einen gestressten Eindruck, was auch mit der großen Anzahl an Mitarbeiter liegt. Die Piroggen waren sehr schmackhaft, könnten vielleicht ein klein wenig mehr Sauerrahm vertragen. Die Brotzeitplatte war eine große Attraktion für die Wespen der Umgegend - diese sind wohl ganz versessen auf die Fleischpflanzerl :D - übrigens zurecht. Neben dem Obazda sind diese die geheimein Stars auf dem Brettl. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis im Kopernikus ist sehr realistisch. Die Preise wirken gut kalkuliert - weder zu günstig/ noch zu teuer. Zum Abschluss möchte ich noch den Marillenobstbrand empfehlen - sehr bekömmlich.

In my opinion the most beautiful beer garden in Nuremberg. Thanks to the large portions, no one will leave the table hungry. The staff is friendly and always available without being intrusive. My recommendation: The dark master cyclist.

So, apart from the fact that you find the location either by chance or through a tip, the Kopernikus is really recommended. The atmosphere is great, the beer garden is great, especially when the weather is nice. The view is great, the food is delicious and to the point. The real hit was Lara, in addition to the already beautiful ambience and the good food, she was the reason that we would definitely stop by again. Friendliness is a given, but the touch of personality with enthusiasm and fun at work - when the guests aren't too strenuous - are what really stand out. Thank you @Lara for a special afternoon and evening :) So if you're looking for a good atmosphere paired with location and food at reasonable prices - you've come to the right place. At least that's what we were able to experience as a family of 8 😀

Nice restaurant, great beer garden. Unfortunately, food is decreasing and portions are getting smaller. New menu and price increase. But what we absolutely cannot understand... Why is there no indication that schnitzel is only available from 4 p.m.!?!?!?!?! According to the staff, it's been like this for over a year... There's nothing on the homepage, there's nothing on the menu. We wanted to spend the lunch break eating schnitzel, but thanks to the new price of 17.90 euros, we're going somewhere else. Staff tried hard, but somehow a bit haphazard.

Atmosphere in the beer garden on the old city wall is cool. The two student (?) waitresses were also super attentive, unfortunately the food was a failure. The only Mediterranean thing about the salad of the same name were the dates, so the side salad at the Italian restaurant around the corner is of higher quality...

We went there for a beer yesterday morning. As soon as we entered, the waitress asked us whether she should bring a bowl of water for our dog when she came to see us. She was at our table immediately with the bowl and the menus. We were advised about the aroma and orientation of the beers. When we had almost finished our drinks, we were asked if we would like to drink something else. Very attentive and careful, especially in the heat. We saw that the employee enjoyed her work, which she also told us in the short conversation. Highly recommended, great beer garden. We can't say anything about the food as we only had something to drink. We'll definitely be back!!🍺👍

Very nice cool place, nice open space. We ate schnitzel with potatoes, a chicken salad, drank beer and spetzi. The portions are really huge, we left full of food. Biggest portions we saw here in Nuremberg and also very tasty all .I recommend it 100%!!
