My meal was very tasty. Above all, the soup tasted very good. I would be interested to know what kind of soup that was.

If you're looking for haute cuisine, you're in the wrong place here. But if you're looking for flawless ingredients and solid preparation, this is the place for you. And at a great price-performance ratio. On buffet days you should eat a little later. You know. Cheers, hustle and bustle, merriment.

This time we went to the shooting festival and since we didn't want to eat at the fair, we went to Monte Grande! At first I was skeptical because we don't have anything like that anymore, a 4-course lunch menu at such a price! But try it..wow! The food was very good, the service was extremely friendly and the atmosphere was just right for this restaurant. Clear recommendation 5 🌟!

The food was partly cold... The meat was well, the vegetables were okay... Very, very little choice... And the price for that was pretty outrageous... €32.50 per person for this selection was a disgrace...

Sirloin steak tastes great BUT the employees are “unfortunately” a disaster. We ordered coke 3 times and it didn't come. When the water was served, half was shaken on the table instead of in the glass. Every time I cleared something away something fell on the floor...

Had dinner there on July 14, 2024, the food was okay. But I have never heard of waiter No.8 being so unfriendly. The plates for the bread and dips were literally thrown there. We felt like we weren't welcome. We then ordered two espressos and had to ask when we would get them. The worst thing was when we wanted to pay. The bill was thrown on the table in passing. After asking several times that we wanted to pay, the waiter finally came. So, as guests you have lost us!

Before starting my detailed description of this restaurant, I wanted to say that it is one of the most wonderful restaurants I have had the pleasure of visiting in my long life. Friends of mine recommended the store to me. My wife and I drove an extra 45 minutes there to see for ourselves. The entrance area looks very nice, old building with a very nice modern touch greeted us as we entered the location. A nice young gentleman welcomed us warmly and asked us if we had reserved. I felt like a star ;). He accompanied us to a beautiful table, we were very lucky to be able to occupy a niche, which I would recommend to everyone. Of course the remaining tables are just as beautiful and cozy. The waiter was very good at what he did and pretty quick too. The store was full, but you didn't notice any stress. Let's get to the important point: the food. It was heavenly, from appetizers to the suckling pig, everything was tip top. If you have something to complain about here, you should go to a fast food chain. For the price, it's almost uncomfortable for me to eat so many delicacies. My wife is still raving about the visit today. A huge compliment to the boss and of course to the employees. This is a restaurant where my soul wants to and can feel good!! It is a lunch restaurant for many grandparents. Its cakes are super delicious. You can smell the aroma of cakes as soon as you enter the store. The lunch is particularly cost-effective. A lot of grandparents gather together for lunch. The 4gang lunch set includes soup, unlimited salads, and main dishes. , dessert, 25 euros per person! It's very affordable to eat steak. The restaurant is large and the seats are very private.

It was my first time here and I had heard good things and had expectations, but I was still more than pleasantly surprised! Impressive.

Top food with the best ingredients. Very charming, attentive and quick service. The restaurant is well designed and thanks to several "compartments" it wasn't noisy, even though there were a few guests there.

The food was great, the ambience was great, but the price for the buffet was increased from 22.00 euros to 32.50 euros per person, which isn't that great. Since we eat there often, we didn't look at the menu beforehand and instead decided directly on the buffet. We were wondering why the tables around us were ordering from the lunch menu when there was a buffet at lunchtime. When the bill came, we knew it. Next time it would be better to go a la carte, where the dishes (4 courses) cost around 20.00 euros, there is nothing else on the plate than at the buffet. Maybe rethink the mixed calculation before you have to throw away tons of food because guests order from the menu because of the high price. Therefore 2 stars deducted. Otherwise you can eat very well here.

Great value for money, selection at the buffet is very large and there is something for everyone. Drinks are a little more expensive than usual but still within reason, but that's understandable if you consider the buffet price. All in all, an absolutely recommendable restaurant.

Great, friendly and attentive service. Everything was spotlessly clean, including the toilets. Great selection at the buffet. Unfortunately, the steaks at the buffet were a little overcooked and so were the prawns. But otherwise everything was perfect. The wine we ordered with the meal was also great. We'd love to come back. PS: the price is really hot for this great buffet

We go there every now and then with former colleagues from a large corporation that was once one of the city's largest employers in Neuss... Today, March 2303, 2024, it was finally that time again. Due to Corona we had a long break. The restaurant is still recommended. There is a parking garage nearby and the atmosphere in the restaurant is cozy and nice. Friendly staff, extensive menu, great salad buffet with a large selection, portions good enough. We were there with 9 people, the food (of course also currently with fresh asparagus) came pretty much at the same time for everyone, beforehand there were two delicious dips and a baguette. Everyone was extremely happy with the food, of course I was too (I had the trio plate, but with fries, super tasty) everything was perfect once again...Thanks to the team and thumbs up, we'll be happy to come back...👍

Tasty, hygienic and friendly service

Were there today for a barbecue evening (buffet) at the Monte Grande steakhouse. Meanwhile the prices (€32.50/person) are through the roof and are no longer justified in any way. You should also be careful when ordering drinks. If you don't explicitly point out the small drink, you will automatically be served the large (0.5 liter cola for a whopping €6.50) drink. Not long ago the price for the buffet was €19.99, which was still reasonable. But with the current prices, the store is no longer as full as it was in its heyday. Conclusion: There is no longer any relationship between price and performance. We will eat elsewhere in the future.

We got a table reserved for the same evening. The waiter seemed a bit harsh at first. But then I wished us a good appetite. Unfortunately, we were no longer asked if we would like something more to drink and were ignored. After we had to shout to the waiter as we walked past that we would like to pay, half an hour had already passed. Then we waited another quarter of an hour for the bill to arrive. When we told him that we would pay with an EC card. He had to get the card reader. We then waited another 10 minutes for this. The food was ok. They advertise that it is a unique grill buffet. Unfortunately, this is not the case.

The restaurant Monte Grande remains a perfect choice even six years later after my firs visit, the taste of the food and the quality are still exceptional. The staff continues to stand out with their kindness and helpfulness. This place is a true delight for all the senses. We made a reservation for a buffet on Thursday, and a table for 5 people was ready exactly at the agreed time. I recommend this place!

If you like meat, you should definitely visit Monte Grande. Good steaks, great selection of starters. The store is very large and quite confusing. The atmosphere is pretty old school. Staff was friendly and quick.

I was there with 5 other people. At reception we were checked with ID!!! Great implementation. Most of the food was fillet steaks, served to perfection. The salad buffet was great. We'd love to come back. On February 4th, 2023 with 4 people. As always, great food.

April 6, 2023 Had lunch here again. The food was good, as always. In service there is a “new” young woman who takes care of the guests and their wishes in a refreshing and friendly manner. You can tell she enjoys her job. You rarely find something like that these days 👍🍾 ————- Steaks always grilled to perfection. Nice personel. Stylishly furnished. Prices OK Well suited for birthday parties etc Always my pleasure.

It was full but still good, the food was good and it was a birthday celebration and the atmosphere was excellent.

Wir waren zum ersten Mal hier und fanden es ganz okay. Ambiente war schön ,die Kellner sehr nett. Die Gänge selbst um sich das Essen zu holen etwas eng. Wenn man für 20 Uhr einen Tisch reserviert kann man Pech haben das einiges vom Buffet schon leer ist und nicht mehr nach gefüllt wird ( war unser Pech) so kann es sein das man wenn man sich auf Spanferkel und Lammkeule freut , gleich zu Beginn an den Fleischlosen Knochen vorbei muss. Das Essen selbst war gut und wir würden hier auch wieder kommen.

A very large range of food in the buffet. There was even a whole roasted piglet. The interior layout is interesting - not a boring room laid out in rows. It was pretty full and lively and the atmosphere was good. The staff were very friendly as well. The great thing is that if you come as a big group, there will probably be something for everyone, food wise. The food was better than average (it's difficult to have a very high standard with buffet food that might sit around for a while before you take it). I recommend it, and if I'm in the area again, I definitely won't avoid it.

Gut geeignet für kurzen Mittagsstop mit reichhaltiger, günstiger Menükarte - aber auch abends einfach mal a la carte Essen zu gehen. Es wird immer ein gut sortiertes Salatbuffet angeboten. Reservierung ist nur für größere Gruppen notwendig, da sehr weiträumig. Bei gutem Wetter läd der Biergarten zum Verweilen ein. Der Service ist gut und freundlich, die Wartezeit sehr kurz.

Es hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Der Service war ausgesprochen freundlich und schnell. Die Vorspeisen waren lecker und appetitlich angerichtet. Besonders hat mir gefallen wie kinderfreundlich das gesamte Personal war.

Das Buffet lohnt sich und das Preis Leistungsverhältnis stimmt auf jeden Fall. Das Buffet wird immer frisch aufgefüllt. Parken kann man dort in der Nähe im Parkhaus. Sehr netter Service und gemütliches Ambiente. Kann ich nur empfehlen.

Sehr leckeres reichhaltiges Büfett

Waren am Wochenende zur Grillparty da, 29.90 all you can eat, die Auswahl ist sensationell, von Vorspeise bis Nachtisch alles dabei. Alles was wir gegessen haben war top, es ist so lecker das man nicht aufhören möchte zu essen, leider ist man irgendwann voll. Service ist wie das Essen super, wir kommen gerne wieder und können das Monte Grande jedem empfehlen! Vielen Dank für den schönen Abend

Personal trotz super voller Gaststätte geduldig und freundlich das habe ich schon lange nicht mehr erlebt. Es gab Buffet mit sehr großer Auswahl, Vorspeisen, Hauptspeisen, Dessert lecker kann ich nur empfehlen, hervorheben tu ich das Personal.

Es war alles gut, nur hat man zu lange am Buffet angestanden.

Wir fahren 20 Kilometer für das Restaurant und immer wieder gerne. Selten so ein leckeres Steak gegessen. Die Garnelen als Vorspeise sind sehr lecker und preislich vollkommen OK. Das Buffet haben wir auch schon einmal mitgemacht und wir waren begeistert. Für das Geld gab es eine große Auswahl an hochwertigen Speisen. Ein günstiges Parkhaus befindet sich auf der selben Straße und ist fußläufig zu erreichen. Wir kommen immer gerne wieder.

Das erste Mal zu Besuch in diesem Restaurant und dann gleich zum Weihnachtsessen mit Familie am 26.12.. Das Buffet war sehr reichhaltig und üppig. Für jeden war etwas dabei. Das Serviceteam war, obwohl alle Tische belegt waren, freundlich, schnell und zuvorkommend. Minuspunkte: Für meinen Geschmack zu viele Tische auf zu kleinem Raum, alles etwas beengt, zum Teil sehr enge und lange Warteschlangen am Buffet. Pluspunkte: Weihnachtsmann für die Kinder

Wer auch mal 5min länger warten kann, weil es einfach voll ist, wird nicht enttäuscht. Das Weihnachtsbuffet war wirklich sehr lecker, genug Auswahl und Menge. Das Fleisch war echt lecker, keine Fertigsoßen, frische Dressings und lecker angerichtet. Stressresistentes sehr freundliches Personal. Wir waren sehr zufrieden.

Als mein Partner (Rollstuhlfahrer) und ich das Lokal betraten,war sofort Servicepersonal da.Wir bestellten beide das hervorragende,reichhaltige Buffet.Um es mit Rollstuhl zu erleichtern,brachte man uns vom Buffet eine riesige Platte,die kaum aufzuessen war. So musste mein Partner nicht umständlich an die schwer erreichbaren Dinge herumhantieren und andere Gäste mussten nicht unnötig warten. Immer wieder gern!!!

Wie immer ein voller Genuss. Kommen regelmäßig dort hin. Nette Bedienung bei gutem Essen, was braucht man mehr. Ich sage auf jeden Fall danke an das gesamte Team.

Leider habe ich eine schlechte Erfahrung gemacht. Die Angestellten hatten keine Übersicht über die am Abend reservierten Tische. Nachdem ich 15 Minuten an einem leeren Tisch gesessen hatte, stellte sich heraus, daß das nicht unser reservierter Tisch war. Eine andere Gruppe wurde der Tisch zugewiesen an dem ich saß. Ja da müsste ich mich wohl vertan haben. ????? Erstaunen bei mir. Daraufhin habe ich die Lokalität verlassen, wegen Ahnungslosigkeit der Gastronomie. Sehr überfüllt und kein Überblick über das Geschehen im Lokal. Schade. Hatte mich sehr auf den Abend gefreut.

Wir sind seid langen Jahren treue Stammgäste in diesem Restaurant und waren immer sehr zufrieden. Bei unseren letzten Besuch waren wir auch wieder mit der Qualität der Speisen sowie mit dem super freundlichen Service sehr zufrieden. Das die Preise deutlich angehoben wurden können wir, aufgrund der allgemeinen Situation in Deutschland, sehr gut verstehen!!! Aber das ebenfalls die Gerichte um gut 30 Prozent verkleinert wurden, ist nicht zu verstehen und auch nicht zu akzeptieren. Andere Gäste und auch Stammgäste sahen das genauso wie wir und wollten auch eine Auszeit von diesem Restaurant nehmen. Wir ebenfalls. Wir werden die nächste Zeit nicht mehr wieder kommen. Wollen es aber noch einmal in einem halben Jahr wieder probieren. Schade. Auf diesem Weg kommt man nicht aus der Krise und läuft Gefahr, die doch wichtigen, Stammgäste zu verlieren
