Saturday was barbecue party time again. Our favorite waiter Igor and the incredibly good food have us Once again we had a great evening at Monte Grande! Food delicious, steaks grilled to perfection, glasses well filled, service impeccable as always. Igor always has his guests in mind, takes the time to smile and, with his very warm manner, ensures that you will be happy to come back😘you feel like a friend and not a guest. We come from Niedderhein, our friends from Langenfeld. 1 hour journey, which is worth it every time. Thank you🙋🏼‍♂️🙋🏼‍♀️

I went to the Monte Grande restaurant with a friend today. As soon as you entered you were greeted warmly. The seats are set up invitingly. The service was very friendly. We got salads at a buffet and after a very short time our food arrived. A Balkan grill plate and a grill plate. We were also able to try the suckling pig, which was delicious and very tender, while beautiful music played in the background. Afterwards we got a small ice cream and a cappuccino. We got the ice cream on the house. And afterwards there was a nightcap for drivers😃. I can highly recommend this restaurant. The service was very nice, the food was excellent. I would like to come again.

Highly recommended! Amazing buffet, especially the Mediterranean appetizers are a hit. Grilled lamb and suckling pig, fantastic. But only Thursdays to Sundays from 5:30 p.m. My wife only wants to go there now; she seems to be addicted...

I was there with 5 other people. At reception we were checked with ID!!! Great implementation. Most of the food was fillet steaks, served to perfection. The salad buffet was great. We'd love to come back. On February 4th, 2023 with 4 people. As always, great food. On 12/28/24 with 6 people. Absolutely excellent food. On March 13, 2025 with 2 people. Especially good today. The streak to the point medium. For dessert there was mousse au chocolate.

Nice restaurant with good atmosphere but there is no parking. You should reserve a place in advance and be prepared to wait a long time for your food.

Food was very good. Steaks cooked to perfection. We took the All You Can Eat offer. Eat until you drop. From starters to main courses and the finale, the bedside table, everything was very good. A little tip: pack larger pants.😁

Beim Reservieren eines neuen Termins, sagte man mir das eine Reservierung um 18.00 Uhr von der Geschäftsleitung nicht gewünscht und nicht möglich sei. Angeboten hat man mir entweder 17.00 Uhr oder 19.00 Uhr. Ich wusste bis dahin nicht, dass die Geschäftsleitung eines Restaurants mir vorzuschreiben hat, um wieviel Uhr ich Essen zu gehen habe und wann nicht. Unser letzter Besuch am Freitag, war reine Massenabfertigung bei lauwarmen Buffet. Das ganze gepaart mit anmaßendem Verhalten der Geschäftsführung. Solange dieser "Höhenflug" anhält, war's das für uns mit "Monte Grande".

It was unique again. We ate a la carte and avoided the hustle and bustle at the buffet. Fast, friendly and knowledgeable service. A lovely evening.

We were at “Monte Grande” last night and almost everything was perfect 👍 Good food, nice service, nice ambience 👍 All reasons why guests love coming here again and again 🥂😊 The only point of criticism: My brother had asked for a reservation (table by the window) for our family and unfortunately they forgot 👎 We were then assigned another table. Too bad! If you call specifically and ask for a reservation, then that shouldn't be a problem for the service staff. Putting up a sign saying “Reserved” would have been enough.

Now much too expensive and the food is no longer what it used to be. Very unfortunate

I think it's a very good steakhouse. The lunch menu in particular is an absolute recommendation for me. Price and performance are definitely right here. For lunch there is always a starter soup, a small salad (you put it together yourself) and a dessert.

Today we unfortunately had a wait of over 20 minutes, despite reservations... several other guests waited even longer... the price of over €35 is also a negative for the buffet... it's better to enjoy a nice ambience and a good steak somewhere else

Apart from the fact that it tastes really delicious there, there is a really inexpensive buffet on some days. The service is top. You're also welcome to leave a decent tip.

Fresh salads and delicious dressings. Bread with perfect aioli. Steaks on point. Service is natural and relaxed and friendly. Costs reasonable and yet a little less than expected. Perfect! We'll definitely be back.

At Christmas we had 4 adults and two children served. An extra 60 KM journey was accepted. Buffet with 2 hour time slot. Sounds good. Super excited about it. But not that 300 people are scheduled at the same time. It welcomes everyone into the store at the same time, everyone to the buffet at the same time and everything is in the middle of the entrance area. Waiting in line for 45 minutes to get your main courses? Are you serious? Not all 6 people go to line up at the same time. That means...we couldn't even eat together as a family. Disaster! Because I couldn't get to the buffet, my friend ordered a pizza through Lieferando and ate it in front of the door. This Christmas dinner was more than a success!

Were here on Boxing Day. Pure chaos. Way too long queues at the buffet to the toilet. So that we couldn't really eat together here anymore. We only had 2 hours and then the next round of guests arrived. The price has also been increased quite a bit. The whole thing just has something of mass processing about it. Better quality instead of quantity. Not Christmas again Too bad

Under no circumstances should you order a table here for Christmas. It's so crowded that you can't move. You can't get to the buffet without being pushed hundreds of times. The waiters are constantly shouting that you have to make room because of course they have to get through. It's worse than any store's clearance sale. Of course the owner wants to make money, but you should adapt the guests to the premises. That doesn't even have anything to do with a cozy Christmas dinner. The atmosphere at McDonald's would have been even more relaxed. Our table was also in the middle of a passage, so even when we were sitting there we kept getting jostled. When I kindly pointed out to the boss or restaurant manager that it was very unpleasant to constantly have a walker stuck in my back, they said, "That's just the way it is and I would have to live with it or leave. We were with 8 people and then also against. Unfriendly, far too crowded, inhumane and simply not recommended if you want to eat out at Christmas time.

Super great food, the steak was tender as butter and prepared with a lot of skill. Unfortunately, the older service staff wasn't that great (side dishes were forgotten, other guests who wanted to order something to drink were, in my opinion, completely ignored)

The food is still very good. However, I miss the logistics of lunch. Soup comes cold. Sometimes you wait 45-60 minutes for the food. Then food is brought incorrectly or only comes when everyone else is finished. It doesn't help if you offer to take the food with you. A visit with several people should be a shared experience and not be divided into those who eat and those who then eat at home. I think it's nice that the missing food wasn't charged for, but it doesn't save the situation.

You really can't complain here. Even though we arrived at short notice, there was still a table available for the five of us. The food is rich and of good quality.

Called at 2 p.m. and asked for a table at 6 p.m. Kevin told me on the phone "Yes, of course, just come by." When I asked if a reservation had to be made, he said "No". Arrived at 6 p.m. and was told - Not possible without a reservation. When we called and wanted to make a reservation, they didn't want to understand the problem and blamed it on us. A suggestion that this should be better addressed and clarified internally was also blocked.

Once again for a barbecue party with work colleagues. Absolutely recommended. Very wide range of dishes at a fair price. €33 may sound like a lot at first, but there is also something on offer for it A buffet that, in my opinion, leaves nothing to be desired. Several types of meat, from suckling pig to beef and turkey, all included. Fish in different variations, fries, potatoes, spaetzle, vegetables, salad. everything there. If you don't find anything here, it's your own fault. And dessert is not neglected either. Very nice staff, simply TOP

The restaurant offers an impressive selection of meat dishes. My steak was cooked to perfection – tender and flavorful. The only thing I felt was missing a bit of a special kick was the side dishes to round off the overall picture.

Were there on October 16th. I ordered the steak mix menu. The fillet was incredibly tasty, but it wasn't beautifully presented. There was a hair in the food and the service wasn't satisfactory either. Coffee was served with the soup and not before it. There was no waiting for everyone to finish walking etc. All in all it wasn't positively outstanding.

Steakhaus wie vor 20 Jahren. Atmosphere und Speisenangebot etwas stehengeblieben. Viele Fertigprodukte. Saucen, Dressings und Co werden hier nicht selbst gekocht. Standartfleiscj aus dem Großhandel. Gibt sicherlich genug denen das heute noch ausreicht, mir nicht.

I've been to Monte Grande several times, whether with colleagues for a Christmas party, with the family for various birthday dinners or with my husband for our wedding anniversary 🥰 I really have to say it was a great experience every time. We already had the lunch menu, the evening menu and the brunch 👍👍 The selection is huge, everything tastes great from salads to desserts. Also big praise to the chefs, the steaks 🥩 medium on point ✌️ and my son would have loved to dig into the breaded mushrooms in garlic sauce 😅 The atmosphere is really very cozy and you feel very comfortable in these beautiful niches. A word about the waiters and waitresses… all very friendly and attentive, and keen to see the guests happy. Plus, everyone is always up for a little fun 😅 and for us this relaxed atmosphere is the icing on the cake for a successful restaurant visit. 🥰 We are already looking forward to the next time

We were there for the BBQ buffet party and the quality of the food was excellent. It was great that there was a quality buffet restaurant where we could also go with our dog and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Although our six month old puppy was a little scared of the crowds and barked a few times, the servers handled it very well and were incredibly friendly and understanding. The waiter's name was Igor and he was very nice to us and our dog. Your warm and welcoming personality made us feel good and we really enjoyed our stay here. Great food, friendly atmosphere and excellent service – we will definitely be back!

This time we went to the shooting festival and since we didn't want to eat at the fair, we went to Monte Grande! At first I was skeptical because we don't have anything like that anymore, a 4-course lunch menu at such a price! But try it..wow! The food was very good, the service was extremely friendly and the atmosphere was just right for this restaurant. Clear recommendation 5 🌟!

That was a very, very nice evening: I was invited, I parked in the parking garage a few meters away and it was cheap, the atmosphere was great, the clientele were nice. Sirloin steak tastes great BUT the employees are “unfortunately” a disaster. We ordered coke 3 times and it didn't come. When the water was served, half was shaken on the table instead of in the glass. Every time I cleared something away something fell on the floor...

Had dinner there on July 14, 2024, the food was okay. But I have never heard of waiter No.8 being so unfriendly. The plates for the bread and dips were literally thrown there. We felt like we weren't welcome. We then ordered two espressos and had to ask when we would get them. The worst thing was when we wanted to pay. The bill was thrown on the table in passing. After asking several times that we wanted to pay, the waiter finally came. So, as guests you have lost us!

Before starting my detailed description of this restaurant, I wanted to say that it is one of the most wonderful restaurants I have had the pleasure of visiting in my long life. Friends of mine recommended the store to me. My wife and I drove an extra 45 minutes there to see for ourselves. The entrance area looks very nice, old building with a very nice modern touch greeted us as we entered the location. A nice young gentleman welcomed us warmly and asked us if we had reserved. I felt like a star ;). He accompanied us to a beautiful table, we were very lucky to be able to occupy a niche, which I would recommend to everyone. Of course the remaining tables are just as beautiful and cozy. The waiter was very good at what he did and pretty quick too. The store was full, but you didn't notice any stress. Let's get to the important point: the food. It was heavenly, from appetizers to the suckling pig, everything was tip top. If you have something to complain about here, you should go to a fast food chain. For the price, it's almost uncomfortable for me to eat so many delicacies. My wife is still raving about the visit today. A huge compliment to the boss and of course to the employees. This is a restaurant where my soul wants to and can feel good!!
