This time I ordered takeaway, and it was excellent again. The only thing missing from the photo is the salad and tzatziki. And that was €15.40. We've been there for lunch before, though. The value for money is simply top-notch.

We were looking forward to a nice early evening and wanted to have a drink and eat a bratwurst in the beer garden. We checked the opening hours online beforehand. It was open. Unfortunately, they didn't serve any food (except for a few pretzel sticks). We were told they might plan to do it again. Aha. It can happen. But that should also be communicated online. Very annoying.

Located directly on the Erft River. Delicious food and drinks at reasonable prices. Saw it today in the beer garden, opening at 12:00, beautifully situated right on the water.

Anyone who loves nature will love this place. Even though the beer garden is mostly self-service and the food only offers three dishes, it's still great. For seniors, there's a good selection of three daily specials. Or a menu for the restaurant. The value for money is fantastic. Hop on your bike, cycle along the railway embankment, then the Erft River, and you're in a little paradise.

We stopped there for lunch and were served a very, very delicious and plentiful meal. There was also a generous salad buffet. All at a very reasonable price. Add to that the beautiful view directly onto the Erft River and a very friendly, courteous, and cheerful waitress who obviously enjoyed her work and knew how to pass this on to the guests. This made the already very good and delicious food taste even better. I've also never seen such a beautiful salad decoration, braided into a bouquet, at a "lunch" before. This beautiful, very hidden rowing clubhouse has nothing to hide from any fancy restaurant. Plus, there's parking for bicycles and cars right outside. You don't need anything more!! A beautiful, rustic beer garden on the banks of the Erft River. Self-service with a small selection of good-quality food at reasonable prices. A nice salad buffet with a wide variety. Beer brands can be purchased in advance. A relaxed atmosphere. Plenty of free parking for cars and bicycles. Beer and wine are available on tap.

The old boathouse is a typical beer garden with unbeatable prices. The beer garden is in an idyllic location on the Erft. We were at 🌞 on May 1st. There we discovered that we weren't the only ones. Unfortunately, the drinks dispenser was severely overwhelmed and the self-service queue was around 20-30 minutes long. But you got draft beer 🍺 and other drinks at unbeatable prices. PILS 0.3 for €2.60, Wheat 0.5 for €5.10, Fries, bratwurst and salad for €6.80 That's what you're happy to do. The location is exceptional, perfect for a bike ride. We'll be back, let's see if we have to queue again🤷‍♂️

Compared to the Easter buffet in 2024, it was rather miserable in 2025...The dumplings, for example. swam in a porridge rather than in water...taste e.g. Roast lamb was rather non-existent. Shrimp left a mouthfeel as if it had been pulled through flour (the protein had been cooked out). Completely unacceptable for €25 per person...unfortunately the consistently nice staff doesn't change that.

Went to the boathouse for the Easter brunch for the first time. Food and drink (for the price), service and ambience totally inspiring. Definitely coming back despite the 70 km journey.

We were there for the Easter buffet and were very positively surprised. A really good buffet at a good price. The food was varied and really good. Unfortunately, the room in which the buffet was served was quite narrow. The staff was very friendly and attentive. There weren't really enough parking spaces and due to the rain, it was a bit of a slalom to get to the location. We would take advantage of the offer again and will definitely come back when the weather gets better to visit the beer garden. This is located directly on the water. Definitely a place to stay.

The Boathouse is suitable as a restaurant serving daily lunch. Don't expect any culinary highlights. The portion sizes vary considerably, and the service leaves a lot to be desired. Everything feels more like a cafeteria, albeit in a very nice location.

Unfortunately not recommended, food warmed up and not edible. Tastes like it came from a bad hospital kitchen. Staff makes an effort. I was here for the first and last time.

Were invited for a birthday on Saturday. Nice ambience, good service. The buffet was first class and very tasty. A minus point are the women's toilets, which should be updated as soon as possible. Men's toilet newer and top.

For years we have enjoyed the beer garden in the summer months after our bike tours. This time we went there in December 2024 to eat “a la cart”. After making a problem-free reservation via Facebook/Messenger, we went there without any great expectations. We didn't know the location at all, but we were pleasantly surprised. Decorated for Christmas, light Christmas music in the background and a free choice of table. The menu is clear and we had already chosen our food online at home. Now to the essentials: we had the perfect meal, a feast for the eyes and tongue. My steak was cooked to perfection, my wife's fish was tender and delicious. All in all a successful meal, at this point a thank you to the service and the artists in the kitchen.

Very nice old beer garden on the Erft. Beer pavilion with alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Parking space in front of the door. Small, very tasty dishes of the best quality at very reasonable prices. Friendly service at the self-service pavilion. Highly recommended when the weather is nice. During the week only a limited menu is offered (two dishes to choose from) with limited availability (sold out at 7 p.m.).

Very nice beer garden. Unfortunately there is not always food. If you want to be served, you're unfortunately in the wrong place here. You get your own drinks, which I personally don't mind. Overall, a nice place, right on the Erft with a dock for kayaks.

The Easter buffet was very good, price/performance was unbeatable and everything was very tasty! However, not everything was hot, which was probably due to the long queue at the buffet and everything was quickly eaten, but it was quickly refilled! Gladly again and highly recommended.

We celebrated my 50th birthday in conjunction with our outdoor wedding in the old boathouse and had a wonderful day! A big thank you goes to Ms. Held, who sat down with us again and again and gave us help and advice. Dinner catering was also just great. Our wishes were 100% fulfilled, all guests were thrilled with the food and there was plenty left over. The service on our big day was friendly and quick. The value for money is unbeatable in the area. We celebrated with 74 guests and it was a perfect fit. Luckily for us, we were allowed into the room the day before to decorate it. The white tablecloths were provided by the boathouse and, at our request, glasses were also set. Today I received the bill and all I can say is: absolutely fair! Thank you for this special day! I will unreservedly recommend the old boathouse.

Essen gab es leider nicht aber ein leckeres Radler und ein alkoholfreies Weizen zu ganz moderaten Preisen. Ausserdem eine freundliche Bedienung hinterm Tresen. Vielleicht eine Serviette unter dem Aschenbecher auf dem Tisch und vor for dem Wochenende mal Laub harken. Der Ablauf von Bestellungen könnte ein bisschen optimiert werden. Aber immer noch ein guter Ort um eine Pause während der Radtour zu machen.

They said it is always open as well at the requested date. Therefore no reservation necessary and possible. We arrived and the restaurant was fully reservated for a private event. That is not a good service.

Die Speisen waren lecker und der Preis normal, wenn man im Aussenbereich sitzt kann man wunderbar mit einem Blick auf die Erft die Work-Live Balance genießen kann.

Haben nur was getrunken, selbstbedienung, sehr schöner Biergarten.

Als Mittagstisch okay, aber preislich etwas hoch dafür das man sich selbst bedienen muss. Aber das Essen war sehr gut.

Ein schöner Ort für einen Stopp mit dem Rad oder zu Fuß. Die Location liegt direkt an der Erft und bietet ein ruhiges und entspanntes Genießen von Speisen und Getränken.

Ich schaue öfter mal am Wochenende oder unter der Woche abends auf ein kaltes Getränk und für ein leckeres Essen im Bootshaus vorbei. Wir waren dieses Jahr auch auf dem Sommerfest und waren durchaus begeistert von der tollen Stimmung, dem netten Service und dem leckeren Essen. Es ist sowohl mit dem Fahrrad bei einer Sonntagstour an der Erft vorbei, wie auch mit dem Auto gut zu erreichen. Zudem überzeugt das Bootshaus auch mit seiner tollen Lage direkt an der Erft. Der Sommertänzer ist einer meiner Libelingsweine geworden. Ich komme immer wieder gerne hier hin :)

Ein echtes Juwel! Traumhaft an der Erft gelegen. Ein sehr schöner, offen gestalteter Biergarten. Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter. Die Selbstbedienung und das Zahlen mit Wertmarken ist angenehm und völlig unkompliziert. Die Preise sind völlig einzigartig, im positiven Sinne! Wir fühlen uns dort sehr wohl und werden häufiger vorbei schauen! Schade, dass wir erst so spät hierauf gestoßen sind 🙂

Die Speisekarte ist überschaubar. Irgendwelche Medaillons, Currywurst und Gulaschsuppe. Gulaschsuppe hatte ich gestern, also die Currywurst. Die war okay, dazu gab es Stangenweißbrot. Ebenso in Ordnung war das große Radler. Beliebtes Ziel für Radfahrer, der Biergarten ist von der Erft nur durch einen Weg getrennt.

Schöne Lokalität im. Biergarten, sehr angenehm zu sitzen, super freundlicher koch mit individuellen Mountainbiker, die Frau am der Bar hat noch viel Luft nach oben. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Ein schöner Biergarten, direkt an der Erft gelegen mit vielen Plätzen und guten Parkmöglichkeiten, tolle Spazierwege entlang am Wasser, schön mit dem Hund. Essen top zu absolut fairen Preisen. Selbstbedienung, aber sehr nettes Personal am Ausschank und an der Kasse für die Biermarken, ungezwungene Atmosphäre und nette Leute. Wir waren beim Sommerfest und es war ein wunderschöner Abend mit sehr gutem Essen, Bier und gutem Wein! Es hat sehr viel Spaß gemacht, Danke für den tollen Abend ! Wir kommen auf jedenfall wieder 👍

Leider kein Essen mehr im Restaurant.Der Biergarten war laut Internet geöffnet .Eine Tafel mit "Geöffnet "stand vor dem Biergarten....leider war alles zu.Schade,es war immer sehr schön dort.

Netter Biergarten, tolle Lage an der Erft Preise für Getränke vollkommen ok (Limo, Cola..2, 20, Bier auch ab 2,20) Speisen gab es bei uns nicht...schien aber so, also es sonst auch angeboten wird

Dort findet man den Kanu-Einstiegsplatz. Netter Biergarten mit leckeren eiskalten Getränken. Die Gäste - Wcs sind sehr modern und gepflegt.

Sehr schön zum Sitzen im der Außenanlage. Leider ist die Speisekarte nicht mehr aktuell auf der Webseite, sehr schade. Es gab leider nur 3 Gerichte (Currywurst, Gulasch, Hähnchen/Gemüse Topf) mit Brot.
