Very good food, I can only recommend it!

We happened upon this restaurant today by chance. We and our two children received a very warm welcome! The owner was very friendly and the food was excellent. The price/performance ratio was absolutely perfect. It's a shame we don't live here! Highly recommended.

In my opinion, it doesn't even deserve a single star. Very disappointing after reading so many good reviews, where the origin of the reviews is now questionable. We ordered Mici, which didn't have Romanian mustard, even though it was listed with the dish. The mustard was completely raw. The Caesar salad consisted of rotten lettuce leaves, making it inedible. I can neither call this restaurant Romanian nor recommend it for the dishes we ate...

The food and service are both lovingly prepared. Everything is fresh, beautifully presented, and served quickly. We'll be happy to return.

After a long and tedious drive from Austria, we arrived here. We received a friendly welcome and were allowed to choose a spot. They were incredibly hospitable, with extra attention for our two young children. We enjoyed it, and it quickly made us forget our unpleasant drive. We came here based on the good reviews and were not disappointed. The owners are exceptionally friendly and helpful! We enjoyed both dishes (mussels and mace) very much! The side salad was especially delicious! The beer selection is also very appealing! Unfortunately, the tablecloths seem dirty!

The homemade liquor is daleci. It was a very nice establishment. Tasty, and the liquor seemed better than the liquor stores in Croatia.

A very good location, the atmosphere is very quiet, the food is very good and the service is fast.

It's a truly inviting place. It's a bit hidden, but we stumbled upon it by chance during a break on the way home. The food was delicious, and the people were super friendly. The restrooms were also really good, although I'm not sure if you're allowed to use the 10 cans of deodorant, the bottle of perfume, and the hairspray. Much better than the truck stop right off the highway (the service and food are apparently terrible there).

Superlative excellence! We wholeheartedly recommend Zur Wied! We were invited to two christenings held here and each time we were deeply impressed by the cleanliness, hospitality, professionalism and exceptional quality of the food and service. After these events, I returned several times, as regular customers, for lunches or dinners, and the quality always remained at the highest standards. Impressed by each experience, we confidently chose to organize the baptism of our little one, Luca, also at Zur Wied — and everything was perfect! The gorgeous decorations, warm atmosphere and attention to the smallest details make this place truly special. Mr. Werner and Mrs. Iuliana are extraordinary hosts, warm and welcoming people who make you feel like part of the family. We wholeheartedly recommend Zur Wied restaurant to everyone who wants beautiful moments in an elegant and welcoming setting!

We have the Schlemmerblock and stopped here for lunch today. The ambience and the wonderful food convinced us to come back. I have already forwarded it to my friend who is in a wheelchair and is always looking for places she can reach. I think she's in good hands with you.

The restaurant convinced us: we caught a day when there was only grilled food. The grill platter for two people was delicious, the innkeepers were friendly, nice and obliging. Unfortunately we were passing through, otherwise we would probably be there more often.

Food was super tasty, had the calamari skewer, the house specialty. Good beer. There was also an ouzo and espresso, which was really great for a sports restaurant!

We ended up in this beer garden by chance after a short hike and were unfortunately disappointed. The staff commented on other guests in Romanian, which I could understand and found to be unprofessional. We were only offered a menu after asking several times. Even though we just wanted something to drink, a Romanian grill plate was more or less forced on us. The food was no more than a snack bar and was expensive for the quantity and quality. For €42.80 we got a grill plate for two people, each consisting of two “mici” (similar to cevapcici), two thin sausages, two small chickens and one in the middle sliced ​​pork steak. An absolute failure for me.

Had dinner there. We already use very little salt at home. But unfortunately they manage to use little or no spices. Everything tasted very neutral. A pity. Service was on point and the terrace is great.

I recently had the opportunity to eat at a Romanian restaurant in Germany near the city of Erlangen and was extremely impressed with the dining experience. I ordered belly soup and small with fried potatoes, and the taste transported me directly to the heart of Romania. The belly soup was absolutely delicious. The smooth texture of the soup, combined with the slightly sour and rich taste, made me feel like I was back in grandma's kitchen. The meat was cooked perfectly and the cream and garlic added that extra bit of flavor I was looking for. The little ones were also a treat. Their distinct flavor and perfect juiciness were complemented by the crispy and well-salted fries. Every bite made me wish the plate would never end. The atmosphere of the restaurant was welcoming and friendly, exactly what you would expect from a Romanian restaurant. The staff were attentive and very kind, adding a personal touch to my experience. In conclusion, if you are in Germany and want to experience the true taste of Romanian cuisine, this restaurant is an excellent choice. I highly recommend the belly soup and the fries. Everything was delicious and I can't wait to come back!

Hello. Every now and then I go to the forest adventure center with my wife and child and some time ago I went to this restaurant. Didn't blow me away, so it gave it 3 stars. At least 4 for the service. Now I get a letter from Google threatening me with defamation and my review will then be removed. Great business practices. What do they do with 2 or 1 stars? FYI: 3 stars is "satisfactory", so initially it's not that bad. The restaurant will definitely be avoided in the future.

We came here as a small group in search of new culinary impressions - so we focused primarily on the Romanian part of the menu. While I had previously experienced Romanian home cooking in Romania as being as tasty as it was powerful, the dishes here were easier to prepare. Although the portions weren't exactly small, we didn't leave the restaurant completely oversaturated after the starter, main course and dessert. In terms of taste, we can definitely recommend this location, in my opinion the price-performance ratio is absolutely fine! The service was very friendly and attentive, the owner was sociable. We were happy to accept the invitation for a digestive spirit with a little “schnack” 😊 Even though we came on a Friday evening, the place wasn't crowded. This could possibly also be due to the location. It is clear from the pictures that it is a “sports restaurant” or a restaurant attached to the sports field - the ambience corresponds to that, even if the owners have obviously put a lot of effort into the decoration. We will be back definitely!

Unfortunately the order was forgotten and the dish was then taken away. Eating the hamburger meat at home is completely raw and not edible!! Really a waste of money

Eat good home cooking. Grilled chicken legs, spare ribs and dessert papanasi (traditional Romanian curd pastry in the shape of a donut, fried hot and served with sour cream and berries) very tasty.

While passing through, we spontaneously looked for an alternative to the usual highway meals from American burger chains. We found this restaurant and here's what we have to say: Restaurant of a sports club, there were only older people there for dinner who had dressed up a bit. Still a relaxed and cozy atmosphere. The friendly innkeepers welcomed us and escorted us to the table. We ordered the spare ribs with potato wedges, Viennese style schnitzel with fries or homemade potato salad and the cordon bleu. Spare ribs and sauce were really tasty and well marinated. Schnitzel with fries were completely ok, the potato salad was very good. Cordon Bleu was also very good, nice and juicy, good cheese, not too greasy and probably homemade. Very good price/performance ratio, we paid an average of 18 per person including a drink. If we lived in the area we would eat there more often. And try the delicious local beer.

Very tasty cuisine with friendly staff. Here you will find sophisticated coolness for a sports restaurant. Also select wines from Franconia and Romania that are of high quality. The selection of drinks and food also offers more than an ordinary sports home, gladly again!

Do try the traditional Romanian dishes if you're an adventurous eater! Even the regular dishes like the schnitzel and Kartoffel Salat were so different and tasty! The owners were also very friendly and attentive. The restaurant itself is very well decorated and it seems like a good place to hold a big party !

Waren leider nur zur Eigentümerversammlung im Nebenraum, Küche war geschlossen und wir tranken nur etwas. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam..

Ich kann dieses Restaurant nur loben… es wurde uns für die gute Küche empfohlen und wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Im Gegenteil… wir waren überrascht, von der netten Begrüßung des Chefs… und der Hausgemachten Qualität der Sarmale (Sauerkrautwickel) und der phantastischen Mici (Cevapcici)! Es waren die besten welche ich seit Jahren hatte. Auch die Ciorba (Suppe) mit Entenfleisch war ein Traum. Damit hat Erlangen eine echte Bereicherung seiner Gastronomischen Vielfalt erhalten. Großes Lob! Punkt!

4,6 Sterne sind mir ein Rätsel. Selten ein Essen mit so vielen Zusatzstoffen und Geschmacksverstärkern in einem richtigen Restaurant entdeckt. Nichts ist selbst gemacht, mir ging es direkt schlecht noch bevor mein Teller leer war. Wir wurden trotz vieler freier Tische an einen mit sehr dreckiger Tischdecke gesetzt. Gutscheinbuch wird nicht akzeptiert und über Zutaten in den Gerichten weiß man nicht Bescheid bei Nachfrage, z. B. mit was die Tortelloni gefüllt sind und mit welcher Sauce sie serviert werden.

Super, habe sogar was gesundes gefunden. Kann man noch verbessern aber schon mal ein guter Anfang für ein Restaurant im Sportverein wo gesunde Ernährung wenigstens für schnellere Regeneration und bessere Leistung relevant sein sollte. Gruss vom Lauftrainer SVT 😉

Hier war es soooo lecker, dass wir gleich 2 Tage hintereinander essen waren. Am 1. Abend war ein deutscher Abend und so gab es eine kleine Karte. Aber die hatte es in sich. Wir entschieden uns für ein Nackensteak, welches wir so noch nicht gegessen hatten. Mein Hähnchenfleisch war so zart, das es im Gaumen wie Butter zerfloss. Am nächsten Tag dann der Knaller. Sparerips mit Wedges und ein Lachsfilet auf Gemüsebett vom Feinsten. Mein Mann isst keine Augergine… eigentlich… aber der Teller war anschließend leer. Wir kommen wieder!!! Irgendwann… definitiv.

Könnten etwas mehr vegetarische Gerichte sein, aber der Nachtisch ist mega 🥳🤩

So gefällt mir das, man wird direkt angeqautscht und sofort wird ein Tisch frei. Schnelle und nette Bedienungen, super Spare ribs, könnte etwas weniger Soße und mehr Fleisch sein aber sonst Bombe. Wedges schön crunchy, alles super. Gerne wieder wenn ich dort bin

Gezellige dorps sfeertje zoals je in Duitsland verwacht. Erg vriendelijke bediening. Eten super goed. Wijn en de lokale snaps erg lekker. Echt een aanrader. Hier komen wij zeker weer.

Man kann sich streiten ob 4 oder 5 Sterne, da das Ambiente und der Ausblick einer Sportgaststätte objektiv gesehen nahezu immer einen Abschlag nach sich ziehen würde. Für mich aber überwiegen die wichtigsten Fragen beim Restaurantbesuch. 1. Qualität und die war top. 2. Geschmack und der war sowohl bei der Grillplatte, als auch bei den Schnitzeln Wiener Art und den Dips sehr gut. Auch die Pommes knusprig und innen weich. 3. Sauberkeit - top gepflegt und sauber, sogar Stofftischdecken im Außenbereich. 4. Preis - sehr faire Preise, eigentlich schon zu günstig für diese Qualität und Portionsgröße. Schnitzel Wiener Art mit großem Kartoffelsalat 12,50€, Grillplatte für 2 Personen mit Steaks, verschiedenen Bratwürsten, Hackfleischwürsten, Hähnchenkeulen, Dips, Pommes Frites, gemischter Salat mit frischen Zutaten und Balsamico-Dressing 18€/Person. 5. Service: super freundlich, sehr schnell, zuvorkommend, zum Schluss noch ein kostenloser Espresso oder Schnaps. War ein sehr gelungenes Abendessen. Vielen Dank dafür an den freundlichen und gut gelaunten Chef. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Bitte nehmt Euch die Kritik von ein paar wenigen Rezesionen über zu hohe Preise nicht zu Herzen. Wer Qualität nicht zu schätzen weiß und nur billig will, sollte zum Schnellrestaurant oder zur Imbissbude gehen.

Wir können nur in den höchsten Tönen rede. In unserem Urlaub waren wir drei mal zum Abendessen hier und können nicht genug bekommen. Die Besitzer sind hervorragend in allen Bereichen. Freundlich, zuvorkommend, humorvoll, einfach großartig!!! Die Speisekarte lässt keine Wünsche offen, wobei sich die Küche ebenfalls eine große Anerkennung verdient hat! Ebenfalls ist es hier sehr einladend und sauber. Eins noch, die selbstgemachten Bierdeckel sind ein absoluter Hingucker! Viel Erfolg, Gesundheit und Glück auf eurem Weg! Wat een top mensen. Keuken was al gesloten maar ze wilden ons toch graag helpen. 2 maal een cordonbleu gehad met frites en nog 2 frites voor de kinderen... heb zelden zo'n heerlijke cordonbleu gehad en de patat was ook erg goed. Tapbier in een mooie pul en nog een schnapss toe. Echt een aanrader.

Lekker eten en niet te duur. Goede bediening en alle wensen worden vervuld.

Mir wurde das Restaurant wärmstens empfohlen. Ich habe gleich meine rumänischen Freunde mitgenommen, um ein echtes Feedback zu bekommen. Es war ein fabelhafter Abend. Wir wurden herzlich von Wirt Werner empfangen und zu den einzelnen Gerichten gut beraten. Egal, was wir gegessen haben, alles schmeckte absolut lecker. "Absolut authentisch und besonders schmackhaft" lobten alle die rumänische Küche, besonders meine rumänischen Freunde, die das Essen ja wirklich vergleichen können. Nebenbei begrüßte der Wirt auch genauso herzlich alle weiteren Gäste. Die Portionen waren groß, so dass wir den Rest haben einpacken lassen. Ob cremige Kuttelsuppe, Auberginensalat mit fluffigem Brot oder der Grillteller, es war fanatisch. Aber das Dessert konnte ich, wegen meines vollen Bauches, nur noch ein bisschen probieren und es war wirklich ein krönender Abschluss. Das Team nimmt sich auch für einen kurzen Plausch Zeit und informiert über kommende Events. Parken vor der Tür oder sitzen auf der Sonnenterasse steigern heute schon meine Vorfreude aufs Wiederkommen. Herzlichen Dank an Werner und Team

Auf unserer Durchreise zufällig hier Stopp gemacht und es war ein absoluter Glücksgriff. Sehr leckeres Essen, wenn gewünscht romänische Krautwickeln, sonst perfekt zubereitete Hausmannskost z.B. Schnitzel, Cordinbleu. Selten so ein freundliches und kinderfreundliches Personal erlebt. Obendrein konnten die Kinder die Wartezeit mit einem Besuch auf dem anliegenden Spielplatz verbringen. Wir kommen sicher wieder und werden es weiterempfehlen.

La comida es muy rica y las porciones son abundantes. El servicios fue excelente. Fueron todo el rato muy amables y cercanos. Nos hicieron sentir muy a gusto durante toda la comida!

Am avut nefericita inspirație în a participa la Revelionul organizat de acest restaurant . Nu îmi pot exprima dezamăgirea,dezgustul de tot ...organizarea care nu a existat și lipsa profesionalismului . Să va fie rușine că nu v-ați gândit la copii , meritau sa aibă și ei fructe ,legume ,câteva dulciuri, niste amărâte de grisine .Ați organizat un Revelion din sărăcie . Din sărăcie ați vrut să faceți bani . Ori faceti ceva ori vă lăsați de meserie.

Wir haben unsere Hochzeit im Restaurant zur Wied gefeiert. Perfektes Essen und super Service. Dank Werner und seinem Team war es eine gelungene Feier. Wir werden auf jeden Fall Stammgäste. Ein Besuch ist absolut empfehlenswert!
