Wunderbar! Wir waren zufällig dort. Entdeckt beim Wandern. Die Bedienung freundlich und bestens gelaunt. Auch unsere Emma, ein Border Terrier, wurde mit frischen Wasser bedacht. Das Essen vorzüglich und preislich absolut angemessen. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Danke! ERGÄNZUNG! Der letzte Besuch war leider nicht sehr schön. Wir hatten einige Tage zuvor um einen Tisch gebeten, möglichst auf der Terrasse. Dieser wurde uns zugesagt. Bei der Ankunft sagte man uns, das alle Plätze belegt seien. Auf Nachfrage wurde gesagt, das die Außenplätze primär für Stammgäste reserviert würden. Diese Anmerkung hat mich schon sehr verärgert! Wir gehen seit Jahren dorthin und genießen die wunderbare Kulinarik, aber Stammgäste sind wir offensichtlich nicht.

Sehr feinen Vorspeisensalat und ein Schlemmerschnitzel genossen. Dazu ein Glas Wein und Wasser. Espresso danach und auf der Terrasse wohlfühlen. Das ist die Quelle.

Sehr kurzfristig heute einen Platz für 2 Personen im Biergarten bekommen und dann gab's ein super Essen ( Klassiker Schnitzel mit Spargel), einfach genau so wie man es sich wünscht, das Süppchen vorher und der Gruß aus der Küche, ein gutes Preisgefüge und alle Servicekräfte einfach nur aufmerksam, freundlich aber nicht aufdringlich. Hervorragendes Essen, tolles Ambiente und sehr aufmerksame MitarbeiterInnen.

Wir hatten ganz kurzfristig reserviert und zum Glück noch einen Tisch am Samstag Abend vor Pfingsten bekommen. Das Essen (vegetarische Spargelravioli) war spitze, die Schaumsoße genau passend und das Bärlauchpesto war der Hammer! Für uns beide waren es leider ein paar Ravioli zu viel und da wir auf Urlaub in Bad Lippspringe waren, konnten wir den Rest bedauerlicherweise nicht mitnehmen. Die beiden Servicekräfte waren sehr sehr freundlich und dass die Seniorchefin noch mithilft, das ist irre. Wir können das Restaurant guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen - es lohnt sich!

Das Essen war sehr gut. Gleiches gilt fürs Ambiente im Bistro. Sehr freundliche Bedienung. Dennoch ein kleiner liebgemeinter Tipp für den Service: bitte die Hauptspeise in der Küche erst nach dem Abräumen der Vorspeise abrufen. Dann kann vermieden werden, dass die Hauptspeise zu früh serviert wird.

Wie waren hier an einem Montag essen (fast alles andere hatte geschlossen) und waren total positiv überrascht. Schöne Auswahl, leckeres Essen, super freundlicher Service, sodass wir in unserem Urlaub am nächsten Tag gleich nochmal hin sind. Im Innenraum im Bistro sehe angenehme Atmosphäre. Aber auch außen auf der Terrasse im Hinterhof kann man schön sitzen. Jederzeit wieder.

Wir (3 jährigem Kind) sind spontan mit viel Hunger dort hin. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und uns wurde sofort (trotz vollem Haus) ein geeigneter Tisch gezeigt. Wir wurden umgehend mit Getränke versorgt und mussten absolut nicht lange auf das ausgezeichnete Essen warten. Der Service war absolute Klasse. Unsere Tochter wurde absolut verwöhnt und wir fühlten uns willkommen und totsl wohl.

Das Essen ist exzellent, zuletzt haben wir in Zürich so gut gegessen. Die 5 Sterne reichen dafür eigentlich nicht aus. Einfach hervorragend!! Der Service versucht,,mitzuhalten", kommt aber leider nicht ganz heran. Man muss immer damit rechnen, dass Gäste vielleicht etwas früher kommen,als wie reserviert wurde. Sie haben schnell einen anderen Tisch eingedeckt,auch alles gut,aber wenn die Kellnerin dann zweimal unbedingt betonen muss,dass wir zu früh sind,ist es einfach überflüssig. Danach war sie bemüht. Sie scheint eine gut gelaunte Kellnerin zu sein,aber ihr permanentes ,,Bitteschön " ist schon sehr anstrengend. Es wäre schön, wenn Sie jemand höflichst darauf hinweisen würde,aus der Führungsriege, dass vielleicht etwas zu minimieren. Ansonsten kann ich mich nur wiederholen, dieses Restaurant ist einen Besuch definitiv wert!

In der Umgebung der beliebteste Restaurant was es gibt!

Schönes, praktisch im Kern von Bad Lippspringe gelegenes Restaurant.

Seit vielen Jahren steht dieses Restaurant in mittlerweile 3.Generation mit Recht mit an der Spitze im Kreis Paderborn. Zu den exzellenten Gerichten, dem schönen Ambiente und dem freundlichen Service wurde schon soviel geschrieben, dem kann ich mich nur anschließen. Was mir zudem ausgesprochen imponiert, ist der gleichbleibend herzliche und professionelle Umgang mit Gästen und dem Personal. Eine sehr große Kunst in der heutigen Zeit mit Personalmangel, gestiegenen Ansprüchen und Bürokratie-Wahnsinn! Der Gast merkt nicht, wenn grade mal wieder ein Mitarbeiter wegen Krankheit fehlt, ein wichtiges Gerät in der Küche ausgefallen ist, eine der regelmäßigen Qualitätskontrollen ansteht, ein reservierter Tisch nicht belegt wird weil der Gast es nicht für nötig hält abzusagen, oder welche alltäglichen Katastrophen zu bewältigen sind. Davor ziehe ich meinen Hut und möchte mich als zufriedener Gast ausdrücklich bedanken für die schöne Auszeit vom Alltag. DANKESCHÖN 🙏

Hervorragend und zwar immer wieder. Top Qualität der Speisen und Getränke. Wir waren mittlerweile ca. Zehn Mal dort und waren jedes Mal sehr zufrieden. Im Bistro ist ein angenehmes Ambiente (Der Zwischensaal ist nur für Festlichkeiten zu empfehlen ansonsten Mensa Charakter). Das Restaurant zur Quelle ist vornehmer und für besondere Anlässe zu empfehlen. Gestern Abend im Bistro: Auch ohne die Chefin bester Service und ausgezeichnetes Essen !

Zum Urlauben hier aus Weimar/ Thüringen angereist. Sehr angenehmes Ambiente, keine zu aufdringliche oder laute Musik. Äusserst freundlicher und aufmerksamer Service (wie sollte man es anders im OWL Land erwarten) Alles sehr sauber und gepflegt. Eine gut sortierte Auswahl an Speisen, bei der Mann/ Frau/ Divers nicht überfordert ist. Extrawünsche bei der Bestellung gar kein Problem. Tolles Essen, sehr gut gekocht und ein anständiges „Preis-Volumen-Verhältnis“. Für Familien- Freunde- und Geschäftsessen sehr gut geeignet. Aber auch alleine lässt es sich hier angenehm speisen. Kinderfreundlich hoch drei…

Wir sind spontan beim Restaurant „Zur Quelle“ vorbeigekommen und konnten trotz absoluter Auslastung noch zwei Plätze ergattern. Welch ein Glück! Wir gehen regelmäßig und viel essen und haben festgestellt, dass wir selten eine so hervorragende Küche erlebt haben. Es stimmte wirklich alles! Sei es das Carpaccio, die Vorspeisenetagere, die Steaks (Grillteller und Rumpsteak Strindberg) oder auch der Nachtisch. Unsere Plätze waren in der Nähe der Küche und obwohl beide Lokale absolut voll waren, hörten wir von dort keine Unruhe (- wer kennt es nicht?), sondern es wurde durchweg allerfeinstes Essen zu den vielen Tischen getragen. Hut ab! Die vielen jungen Frauen im Service haben sich unaufgeregt und sehr sehr freundlich um die Gäste gekümmert. Die Senior-Chefin hat ein wachsames Auge auf alles, die Junior-Chefin kocht wunderbar. Einfach perfekt! Wir empfehlen dieses Restaurant aus vollem Herzen weiter!

Haben wir gut gegessen, alles super

Eines der besten Steaks der Gegend! Jedes Gericht war ausnahmslos köstlich! Ein besonderes Lob gebührt der Gastgeberin; obwohl die Küche bald schloss, empfing sie uns herzlich und sorgte dafür, dass wir bestens bedient wurden. Alles war authentisch und sehr lecker.

Hier begingen wir im Kreise einiger Kollegen den Abschied eines langjährigen Mitarbeiters in den Ruhestand. Ich war eingeladen, so dass ich zur Preisgestaltung keine genauere Auskunft geben kann. Aber zum Essen kann ich was sagen. Nur ein Wort: Lecker! Sowohl der Salat vorab, als auch das Hauptgericht (ich glaub das hieß Wildererkrüstchen) und ebenso das Dessert (ein Spekulatius-Parfait mit Pflaumen) waren sehr schmackhaft, die Portion ausreichend bis üppig und sehr ansprechend angerichtet. Das Team ist zuvorkommend, immer mit einem Lächeln unterwegs, und lässt im Verlaufe des Abends den Gast nicht auf dem Trockenen sitzen. Klasse! Ein winzigkleiner Kritikpunkt (wobei ich ehrlich gesagt nicht wüsste, was man dagegen tun kann): Es wurde auf einmal für einige Minuten ziemlich kalt. Das mag dran liegen, dass wir direkt neben dem Eingang saßen, oder dass andere Gäste die Tür nicht richtig zu schließen wussten, oder was auch immer - am Ende wurde es ja auch schnell wieder warm und mit dem entsprechenden Getränk lässt sich so eine Phase auch mal aushalten. Also kurz gesagt ist alles nicht nur gut, sondern super! 😃

Excellent food, delicious beer – highly recommended! The filet steak was divine. The meat was incredibly tender and expertly prepared. The sauce was divine, and the chanterelles were superb. Anyone visiting Bad Lippspringe should definitely stop by the Zur Quelle restaurant. It's well worth it.

Yesterday we enjoyed a wonderful roast venison with dumplings and red cabbage at the "Quelle" restaurant. Absolutely delicious; everything was perfect: the venison with its lovely sauce and tasty side dishes. We paired it with a Primitivo – a true delight. We also enjoyed the appetizer and dessert, both of which were delicious. I'm a regular customer, and the food is consistently of the highest quality, while the staff is always attentive and friendly. Thank you for your excellent service. And the new ambiance at the "Quelle" made for a lovely evening. We'll definitely be back.

The food is consistently excellent, which is primarily due to head chef Nicole. Simone and her team are also very attentive and extremely friendly.

The food was simply outstanding! You can immediately tell that true craftsmanship is still valued here – the sauces, like the Béarnaise sauce, are freshly whipped, and you can taste it. You hardly find anything like that these days. The cuisine is excellent, the service attentive and friendly. Overall, a truly lovely visit – highly recommended!

We visited this stylish, inviting restaurant on two evenings. It was a good thing we had a reservation, as the line of people waiting for a seat stretched all the way outside. It was also a town festival. A very friendly welcome, fantastic food, artfully prepared desserts, and beautiful floral decorations on the tables. The owner and staff exude hospitality. Many, many thanks, especially to the kitchen team! A definite recommendation!

Overall, this restaurant is okay. But if I can't get the right cutlery for a steak, I'll unfortunately have to deduct a star.

We had reserved a table at short notice by phone. We weren't familiar with the restaurant. When we entered, an elderly lady very rudely told us we were in the wrong place. We were told to go through the dining room to the bistro. When we asked where we were from, we were brusquely dismissed with the words, "Yes, the other way around." Everything in the bistro was 5 stars+. Perhaps the lady in the restaurant should simply retire.

A wonderful restaurant. The Wiener Schnitzel is incredibly delicious. The dessert menu is also simply fantastic. The service is very attentive and refined. They even cater to children. We'll definitely be back to try the other delicacies on the menu. Thank you very much.

If you want delicious—and I mean really delicious—food without visiting a Michelin-starred restaurant, this is the place for you. The pork fillet in a herb crust, various asparagus dishes, and even the Strindberg rump steak, a "palate orgasm," are just what you need. And finally, the dessert selection. What's served here...is impeccable in both craftsmanship and flavor.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A perfect end to our vacation! We visited Die Quelle in Bad Lippspringe at the end of our vacation – and it couldn't have been a better ending! The restaurant impresses with its cozy atmosphere and a great selection of regional dishes, prepared with love. There were three of us – my wife, my daughter, and I – and we received a warm welcome. Special praise goes to the two ladies in the waiting room: friendly, attentive, and charming, they not only served us excellently but also entertained us wonderfully. The kitchen also did a fantastic job – our meal was simply outstanding and perfectly rounded off our last evening. A big thank you to the entire team! We look forward to seeing you again soon.

We got married on May 3, 2025, and celebrated at the Zur Quelle restaurant – and we can only say: The Zur Quelle restaurant played a significant role in making this day so unforgettable for us! A lovingly prepared hall awaited us, with personalized menus and individually selected dishes – including those for vegetarians, vegans, and our Muslim guests. The staff was consistently friendly, the reception warm – we felt completely comfortable and welcome. We were cared for attentively and lovingly at every level, and our guests were thrilled too! It was truly a wonderfully beautiful celebration, and I can only recommend all future brides (and grooms) still looking for the perfect wedding venue: Celebrate at the Quelle! THANK YOU for everything – it was a dream with you and with you!

I've eaten here several times over the last few years when I've had work here. This restaurant has consistently offered very good quality over the years. The staff is in a good mood and reads the guests' wishes. The kitchen is also great and very flexible. Simply great!

My husband and I went to the restaurant for dinner last Tuesday. We got the tip for this restaurant from friends. And it turned out to be a real blast! We are meat lovers and chose the grill plate and the surf and turf. The meat was cooked to perfection and the entire main course was simply a dream. This dream continued with dessert. The service was simply great. Friendly, accommodating and always with the guests in mind. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the entire team once again for this great evening! We can only recommend the restaurant. Five stars are actually not enough here :-)

There were two of us. We ordered 2 steaks, 2 wines and 1 beer. Waiting time 50min. Price 90 euros. Atmosphere is very inviting, service is nice. Meat was well fried and not seasoned at all, tasted of nothing, served without sauce with ketchup and mayo in a plastic bag like at the rest stop. A steak was requested with grilled vegetables, the last one was a joke, a very small amount of softly cooked zucchini with mushrooms. Second portion was with fresh vegetables, there were maybe 40 grams on the plate. Ah yes, plus fries and croquettes (5 pieces) from the freezer. We weren't full and went straight to Lidl.

We hadn't made a reservation and were harshly told off by the senior manager!

Although the main courses of the table that arrived after us had already been served, our pre-ordered soups had not yet arrived. The soups arrived exactly 50 minutes later, and the main courses were served an hour and 10 minutes later.

The onion soup was excellent. Jagerschnitzel very tasty. The mouse in straw meat was perfect, unfortunately there was only one roll of bean wrapped in bacon on the plate. Great service thank you very much!

Last night we spontaneously wanted to go out for dinner and since this restaurant was recommended to us and we were just passing by, we thought we would take a look, we liked the posted menu. In the restaurant itself you could immediately take a look at many (but limited) set tables. You couldn't see if there was another room. We politely asked the waitress if there was still a place available for two people. She turned to an older lady, obviously the manager of the house. She could have said a lot of things, e.g. that it's best to make a reservation in her house on a Saturday evening, etc., but she made a face as if we were no longer in our right minds and thereby let it be known that we could leave again. I wasn't surprised because yes, you do have to make a reservation these days. But since everyone talks about friendliness and politeness, that wasn't the case here. It's a shame, but the store can certainly do without us.
