Upscale food in an interesting ambience

For me, one of the TOP restaurants in the area: familiar, cozy and lovingly coordinated atmosphere, bosses and service staff who live their job and unusual dishes. Price-wise: higher level.

The hut by the lake enchants with very tasty food at very high prices. Dogs are welcome. Smoking is allowed outside. Cakes and hot dishes are available here, although a larger selection of warm dishes are only available from 5.30 p.m. It's often very crowded here, so you can't hear your own words inside. But on the outside it's fine.

I ordered pasta. It's simply great. Service is also great and very friendly. I'd love to come back.

Harsh rejection from the staff when we asked for a table for 4 people in the outdoor area yesterday at around 1:00 p.m. on Sunday in the best weather 🌞 without wanting to order anything to eat... And that even though there were still a number of tables available 😬 We were so looking forward to a stay with cool drinks 🍺🥂 in a great atmosphere... Compulsive eating - completely out of date!!

What an incredibly delicious cake and at a size where others sell what feels like a whole cake. The bad thing is that after one piece of cake you are completely full and you can't try the other types. Unfortunately, some of the stairs outside are loose, which is not entirely a problem, especially for grandma and grandpa. The service is really friendly, although it was a bit slow for us. Everyone is very attentive, but here only 4/5 stars.

We recently went to the Fischerhütte in Bad Lippspringe for the first time and had a fantastic evening with a family dinner there. We didn't know the restaurant before and were pleasantly surprised. Our table was served by Jana, whose service was excellent: very attentive, never intrusive and of a high standard. The ambience is picturesque, surrounded by greenery, with a beautiful outdoor area. The interior ambience also impresses with its stylish furnishings, which combines a touch of boho with modern elements. Now to the highlight of the evening: the food. The selection of main courses is fantastic. We tried various main courses, all of which were prepared with finesse and everyone enjoyed them wonderfully. We would particularly like to highlight the pea and mint risotto, which was simply delicious. The dessert was also excellent. The wine recommendation and drinks were equally great. Even the non-alcoholic drinks and aperitifs were convincing. Overall, an all-round successful evening that deserves a solid 10 out of 10. We will definitely come back and are looking forward to it!

The food was unbeatable - delicious! The service was a bit cold, like a stranger. The location is particularly interesting in the mix, cool decoration, but entertainment is only possible with oiled vocal cords - quite loud in the main hall! All in all, recommended - you don't get something like that very often!

A really great traditional restaurant! The current operator has made everything very modern! The left wing is the highlight of the restaurant. You rarely see such a beautiful ambience. The selection also includes coffee and cake. We have been there several times with family or friends and we have been very satisfied every time! All the dishes are very tasty and beautifully prepared! The staff is very professional and very friendly (probably rare these days). We'd love to come back, probably next Christmas.

An absolutely romantic and spacious place with great cuisine and friendly, attentive service. Far from everything, but very close to peace and quiet, in the middle of the forest, but still easily accessible by car or bike. Great walking paths through the airy, light-flooded forest also lead to your destination. Parking spaces are available directly in front of the house. The restaurant, actually only the name is cozy, is spacious and has a great, cozy interior. The large outdoor area offers many beautiful places with romantic corners. The food is absolutely excellent and the slightly higher prices are certainly absolutely appropriate for the quality offered. The view from the terrace falls on a large pond, picturesquely surrounded by trees and when the sun floods the leaves and branches, the reflections in the water create a visual charm. The surrounding garden comes to life in a special way thanks to its planting and decorative design. Simply a place to unwind, to recharge your batteries and to do so in combination with culinary delights, accompanied by good, suitable drinks. It's a shame that we can rarely use it, because it's 110 kilometers from us to this beautiful place. Thank you to the whole team for the lovely and great service.

Me and my wife are thrilled with the fishing hut! The food is delicious, the staff is professional, friendly and attentive and the location is also great (a clear recommendation for nature lovers). We don't know a better restaurant than this, no matter where we've been so far ♥️ Our recommendation: Lara's salad with huge shrimps as a starter, sea bass fillet/pork cheeks as a main course and vegan creme brulee as a dessert Cocktails that you definitely have to try: Fischerman's Friend (also works without alcohol) and Ipanema. If there were still live music here, customers would definitely have to reserve a place a few months in advance ;) We have now become regular customers of Fischerhütte and are always happy to recommend this restaurant. Great atmosphere, beautifully decorated, excellent cakes.

This special location, beautifully located in the forest, is really highly recommended. The coffee and cake were wonderful, the beautiful view of the fish pond and the grounds was good for the soul and the waiter was very attentive and friendly in a pleasantly natural way. I would like to stop at the Fischerhütte again and try something from the promising menu.

Der Service war unaufdringlich aber sehr aufmerksam. Die Fischerhütte ist ein besonderer Ort, den man unbedingt besuchen sollte. Die schlechten Bewertungen kann ich absolut nicht nachvollziehen.

We had an excellent meal and enjoyed the wonderful ambience. The asparagus dishes were excellent and visually very appealing. The service was unobtrusive but very attentive. The Fischerhütte is a special place that you should definitely visit.

Food was really nice but a very limited menu with only a few main courses. Service was slow and not very clear on what the actual dishes were. Nice location next to a pond.

A dinner with friends became a special experience. I visited the fishing hut for the first time and was immediately impressed by the atmosphere. The service is extremely courteous, friendly and good-looking, the drinks and food not only came to the table quickly but were freshly and aesthetically prepared. I could actually taste the freshness of my salad and my friends' dishes also looked very tempting. I'm looking forward to taking more friends and relatives to this restaurant very soon and inspiring them too. I'm not just making a recommendation: If you're not there (eating), you've simply missed something!

Ich gehe dort nicht wieder hin. Bei dem Schnitzelgericht für 24 Euro waren 2 "Schnitzel" dünn wie Wurstscheiben. Die Panade machte es dann ungefähr doppelt so dick. Zusätzlich war mein Beilagensalat schon halb welk. Das Ambiente ist zwar toll dort und man bezahlt dann dafür auch noch etwas mehr, aber mit dem Essen wurde ich enttäuscht.

There are the full stars. 🤗 Landed there by chance while walking. Really great atmosphere. A lot to see. Cozy, rustic and modern combined. Super nice staff. Our dog was also allowed in and the food was really great. Both dishes are simply great. Not so standard either. I can recommend it to everyone without hesitation. Keep it up. 🤗

Great ambience but the food is a disaster. The most expensive burger I've ever eaten, but also the worst. My wife had fish, which no one gets fed up with. The taste was good. We will definitely go there again for a cafe, but not for food.

I can't understand the effusive praise for the Fischerhütte. It's a nice place to visit after a walk or bike ride, the food is mediocre at best. We had a salad and a so-called risotto with four herbs and chicken breast and schnitzel with fries. Conclusion: both chicken breasts were fried to death and dry, the salad came with a salad dressing that was completely over-sweetened and had a convinience-like consistency, the risotto was watery and the rice was not risotto rice. The schnitzels also gave the impression of ready-made products, the pieces of meat and the breading were too uniform, the impression was further strengthened by the fact that the food was on the table within a very short time, even with a good mise en place, such a speed is not possible with freshly prepared dishes to create, a real shame given the prices quoted. I don't know if it has anything to do with the province, but the cuisine here has nothing to do with craftsmanship and high-quality food.

We were actually always very happy in the fish hut. But today an employee called me and said we had a table at 6 p.m. I wasn't aware of this and apologized because we became parents a few days ago and maybe it got lost. . I was then greeted in a very unfriendly manner and the lady hung up on me. Guess we were guests last time. A pity .. P.S. We don't have a reservation because our due date was March 31st.

Unfortunately we weren't allowed in for coffee (1 p.m.). It would still be lunch and we could come back at 2 p.m. It was raining and there were still a lot of tables free. It's funny, it's better to forego sales and leave guests out in the cold than to invite them in and offer them a coffee. And then at 2 p.m. we ordered a piece of cake. Well, that's how you scare away your guests. Very arrogant!

A visit to the fishing hut is always worth it, the ambience is anything but ordinary, nice, courteous service and the food is very tasty. I love the salad with baked goat cheese, the components are well selected and everything is fresh. When purchasing, attention is paid to quality; the meat comes from the local butcher who also slaughters the meat himself. It's always beautiful there!

Wir waren zum ValentinsLove Dinner in der Fischerhütte. Wir wurden super herzlich empfangen und zum Tisch begleitet. Der für uns ausgesuchte Platz war richtig klasse. Es war sehr romantisch und kuschelig warm. Der komplette Service war 1a!! Das 4 Gänge Menü war ein Traum. Zum Schluß kamen die Köche noch an die Tische und erkundigten sich,ob alles in Ordnung war. Also wir waren von diesem tollen Abend rundherum begeistert und ich kann die schlechten Bewertungen hier in keinster Weise nachvollziehen. Dank an alle Mitarbeiter, die uns diesen schönen Abend bereitet haben.

Vorab, waren immer gern hier, das Ambiente ist toll. Hatten zuvor auch keine schlechte Erfahrung mit dem Service gemacht. Der heutige Vorfall war allerdings das letzte Mal in dieser Lokalität. Der Kellner war absolut respektlos, ist einem ständig ins Wort gefallen, stellte unangebrachte Fragen, zeigte 0 Verständnis und Empathie dem Gast gegenüber, man hat sich alles andere als Willkommen gefühlt. Der Höhepunkt waren dann die Lügen, die er der Chefin erzählte. Ohne uns Anzuhören sagte man uns, wir brauchen nie wieder kommen… Sehr gerne! 6, Setzen!

So, the ambience, the service and the quality of the food can actually only be rated with 5 stars. The fishing hut exudes a very unique charm with its loving decoration and the special location and architecture! Here you can feel comfortable ! Then why only 4 stars? Well, because we (12 hikers) were consistently of the opinion that the pricing on the new map had unfortunately been exaggerated. Whether this should initiate a change in image, from excursion restaurant to star restaurant? It couldn't be explained otherwise. Calculations with factors of 4-6 are standard in the catering industry today, ok... but honestly, a plate of gnocchi in cream for over €20, a normal schnitzel for €27? This is not what we expect when we stop off after a hike. But the rest of the world doesn't seem to care, the store is full, so everything was done right. Next time we'll have to avoid it for a hearty stop.

For years it has been a top address for drinking coffee with cake or dinner. The service is super attentive and always friendly. Changing seasonal menus guarantee a great selection. The quality is always fresh and prepared to perfection. The ambience as well as the furnishings and decoration are lovingly selected and give an impression of your own living room. We always feel warmly welcome here and are regular guests. Definitely a top address in the Paderborn area!

I love the fishing hut. I've enjoyed going there for years and think the atmosphere and the food are great. Unfortunately, two weeks ago I had my first very negative experience with a lady on the phone. I had reserved a table for 10 people, but we decided to go to another restaurant and unfortunately I only thought about canceling the reservation 40 minutes before the reservation. I tried calling twice to cancel but couldn't reach anyone. Twenty minutes before the actual reservation I had an employee from the Fischerhütte on the phone and I told her in a friendly manner that unfortunately I would have to cancel the reservation. The lady immediately asked in a very unfriendly manner: “and you do that twenty minutes before the reservation?”. Unfortunately, she barely let me have a word in the phone call and denied that I had called 40 minutes beforehand - she said that couldn't be the case because she was standing next to the phone the whole time (she therefore assumed that I was lying). After treating me very unkindly throughout the entire phone call, she finally said to me: “Please never make a reservation here again,” then she simply hung up! I admit that I should have called much earlier to cancel the reservation, but I find it unbelievable that people are treated so rudely and disrespectfully - it's a real shame that someone who works in service puts customers off so much. I will continue to be a customer of the Fischerhütte because the restaurant has always been great, but this phone call was really the unfriendly phone call I've ever had...

When I made the reservation over the phone, Carina gave me the feeling that we were very welcome and that the team was looking forward to welcoming our guests. The fishing hut has a fabulous ambience. It's been a long time since I've seen a restaurant where you felt very comfortable as soon as you walked in. The service was terrific, I take my hat off to the fact that Carina and her colleague were alone in the service and that the “hut” was full. The food was simply delicious. I haven't had such a great meal out of the house in a long time. If the fishing hut wasn't so far away from where I live, they would now have 4 more regular guests. If I'm around here again, I'll 112% come back. Thank you for the fantastic result at the Fischerhütte.

Ich habe kürzlich die Fischerhütte besucht und ich muss sagen, ich bin zutiefst enttäuscht. Trotz des ansprechenden Ambientes, insbesondere der äußeren Gestaltung des Lokals, war die Erfahrung weit unter meinen Erwartungen. Die Unfreundlichkeit des Empfangs hat leider einen bleibenden negativen Eindruck hinterlassen, der die gesamte Erfahrung überschattet hat.

Unmögliches Verhalten von der Geschäftsführung. Anstatt Kunden höflich auf etwas hinzuweisen, wird man unhöflich behandelt. Wenn man mit Akzent spricht, bekommt man hier abwertende und rassistische Kommentare zu hören wie „sprechen sie kein Deutsch?“
