I had dinner with my family, and we were absolutely thrilled: the very friendly welcome, the attentive service, the freshly prepared food, and the restaurant itself – highly recommended. We'll also try out the bowling alley (two lanes in the basement) with friends in the future. We'd love to come back!

Two meals were very good, one was okay, and one was a disaster. Unfortunately, the beef in the disastrous meal was very tough and stringy, making it inedible. We complained about this one and received a replacement fairly quickly, which was perfect. However, the fact that they charged €5.00 for it is a complete disgrace. The beef in the other meal was tough and dry, but not stringy.

We finally had the chance to try the Zur Post restaurant under the new tenants. Unfortunately, I have to say that it didn't quite meet our taste. The minced meat on the grill plate wasn't grilled well enough for me and was extremely wobbly, and the meat on the skewer was very fatty. The Champion Schnitzel was served with a refined instant sauce. The staff initially seemed very attentive and friendly, but after paying, they didn't return our farewell greeting, as the new guests were more important. For us personally, the value for money wasn't right; for the prices charged, we would have expected better quality food. Regarding the restaurant's response: I naturally told the friendly lady my opinion of the minced meat when clearing away, but she didn't comment.

We were at my wife's birthday party on June 27, 2025, at the Restaurant Zur Post and had a wonderful day there. The service was very friendly and the food was delicious. We can only recommend it.

First visit under the new management. The lunch menu, including bouillon soup and dessert, is delicious and reasonably priced. The beer is also freshly tapped. We look forward to our next visit.

The restaurant "Zur Post" on Hingbergstrasse in Heißen serves lunch daily between 12 and 3 p.m. (except Mondays, which are closed). Weather permitting, you can sit outside in the sun or in the shade under one of the parasols. I had bifteki with djuvec rice, preceded by soup and followed by dessert – all absolutely delicious. The friendly family who recently took over the restaurant is also from Croatia and lives up to the restaurant's excellent reputation. Go there and enjoy!

We went to this beautiful restaurant for the first time today and had a wonderful meal. The service was very, very good, the restaurant was very clean and beautifully decorated and the food was a dream. We had eight different starters and seven main courses and it was to die for. Wish the new operator much success and good business.

The Restaurant Zur Post is a real insider tip! I particularly liked the beautiful terrace - quiet and perfect for a cozy meal outdoors. The menu offers a great selection of regional specialties. A perfectly fried steak is crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside, with an intense, buttery taste and a subtle hint of smoke The service was friendly and attentive, and the prices are absolutely fair for the quality. Zur Post is the ideal place for a relaxing evening, especially in summer!

We were here for the first time. I would like to highly recommend this restaurant. Very tasty food. Limoncello recommended. the cheese with chili peppers is delicious. I will come here many times.

Tried out the lunch menu at the new landlord today. We were very pleasantly surprised. Everything was wonderfully prepared and very tasty. Price and performance are right. We can highly recommend the post office.

Were there yesterday with 11 people to go bowling. The service at the bowling alley was great, but when we went up to eat, disaster began. The food was good, just a little salty but within limits The employees were very friendly and tried hard, only the boss was very confused and suspicious. It's a shame but we'll look for something else.

Very good home cooking and international cuisine with large portions. In the Restaurant Zur Post you can get a lot of food at reasonable prices. The meat dishes in particular are all recommended and the service is also very friendly and attentive. We'd love to come back!

Nice and cozy, delicious and a good way to end a day

Rather inconspicuous from the outside, but surprisingly cozy inside the restaurant. Decoration is certainly not to everyone's taste, but service, dishes and music are good.

Very friendly and delicious food

I had dinner there today on December 26th, 2023 in the evening. I had previously looked at the small menu on the restaurant's website. In the restaurant they brought me the small menu, and lo and behold, the dishes on the menu in the restaurant were up to 4 euros more expensive than the menu on the website. It's a shame, actually a good restaurant, with nice service and tasty food.

As always, the food was excellent: the goose breast is a real treat, the service was very friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy.

Gestern waren meine Liebste und ich in diesem urigen Restaurant essen. Auf den ersten Blick sieht alles etwas altbacken aus, aber das macht den Charme dieser gutbürgerlichen Wirtschaft aus. Der Besitzer und auch der Kellner sind sehr freundlich, das Essen ist lecker und nicht zu teuer. Wir kommen gern wieder. Bilder folgen vllt das nächste Mal

Waren vergangene Tage zum Muscheln Essen vor Ort und ich muss sagen, wir wurden total überrascht von der Zusammenstellung des Suds.. Super lecker, mit gewissen Pfiff. Preislich alles in allem Prima. Auch die typischen Fleischgerichte, wie zu erwarten. Personal zuvorkommend und sehr freundlich.

Es war wie immer eine Freude dort sein zu dürfen. Leckeres Essen, super aufmerksame Bedienung und man fühlt sich von Anfang als Gast bei Freunden. Wir freuen uns schon alle auf den nächsten Besuch.

Hervorragende Bedienung; bei manchen Gerichten hat die Soße Luft nach oben, z.B. beim Champignon-Schnitzel.

Wir gehen hier gerne hin. Das Essen ist gut und der Chef ist nett. Wir würden uns noch wünschen das sein Sohn öfters dort kellnert. Es hat uns sehr gefallen.
