Wir haben ganz liebe Freunde auf dem Campingplatz untergebracht und waren heute Abend zusammen in der Gaststätte Essen. Soviel Charme und echtes Campingfeeling kommt hier auf! Wie früher in den Sommerferien als Kind. Personal super freundlich, aufmerksam, einfach herzlich und für Spaß und Sprüche zu haben :). Das Essen hervorragend! Spargelcremesuppe, Schäufele, Currywurst, Kaiserschmarr'n, zum Abschluss noch ein Absacker - schön war es :) - empfehlenswert!

Ein schöner Ort zum Entspannen und Essen. Leckeres Essen und ein schattiger Biergarten laden zum Verweilen ein. Wir hatten außerdem noch das Glück, dass der Wirt als wir da waren gesungen hat. Ein schöner gelungener Abend. Gerne wieder, vielen Dank!

Sehr gutes Essen, "das Schäufele", mein Mann war sehr begeistert. Eine sehr nette Bewirtung und sehr gut direkt am Campingplatz gelegen. Sehr nette Bedienung ebenfalls und bei heißem Pfingstwetter, 30Grad romantisch im Innenhof. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Bester Ort nach einem langen Playmobil-Tag. Top Location, super leckere Küche und ein freundliches und engagiertes Team rund um die Kunstmühle machen jeden Besuch zu einem Highlight! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!☺️

Fünf Sterne 🌟 reichen nicht für die Bewertung. Ich war noch nie so Essen. Das Speiselokal ist immer proppevoll. Kein Platz mehr, denkste, dann wird Platz gemacht und man sitzt plötzlich mit wildfremden Menschen am Tisch. Man kommt ins Plaudern, lachen und diskutieren. Einfach herrlich. Für das Wohlfühlgefühl und Bewirtung ist ein entzückend, zuvorkommendes freundliches Team verantwortlich. Die Karte ist nicht groß und das ist gut so. Das Essen ist ausreichend, teils regional und super lecker. Die Location ist gediegen und ungemütlich. Achso, wenns mal zu ruhig wird, werden einige Songs aus den 50 / 60 igern zum mitsingen mit Stimme und Akordeon präsentiert. Kurzum, wir würden jederzeit wieder auf der Durchreise dort einkehren. Nettes, urigen Restaurant direkt am Campingplatz. Am Vatertag war ordentlich was los und ich war spät dort ohne Reservierung. Trotz des Trubels war das Essen schnell da und absolut in Ordnung.

Haben hier gut gegessen. Das Schäufele war etwas stark gesalzen, aber dennoch sehr lecker 😋. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Kann es sehr gut weiterempfehlen.

Wir waren die Woche gleich 2mal dort, da einfach alles gepasst hat. Das Essen war wirklich gut und lecker (2x Schnitzel Wiener Art, 1 mal Bratwürste und einmal Braten) und die Portionen nicht zu klein und auch nicht zu viel.Dem Personal merkte man an, dass dort nicht nur das Essen stimmt, sondern auch die Gäste einem wichtig sind. Vor allem ein freundschaftlicher Umgang miteinander. Preis/Leistung ist vollkommen in Ordnung. Dank an euch alle und wenn wir wieder in der Gegend sind weiß ich wo wir gut essen gehen können. Einfach jedes mal wieder eine Freude, wir waren schon einige Male in Verbindung mit dem Playmobil FunPark hier und sind vom Schäufele und dem Service noch nie enttäuscht worden. Wir waren heute zum Abendessen dort und waren sehr begeistert. Die Preise sind normal, wie überall. Dafür gab es aber sehr gute Portionen. Es hat vollkommen gereicht. Die Essensauswahl ist relativ gering, was mir persönlich lieber ist. Dafür hat es sehr gut geschmeckt. Die Inhaber sind sehr nett. Wir haben in unserem Fanken Urlaub nach einen Restaurant gesucht, welches zwischen unserer Unterkunft und den Sehenswürdigkeiten befand und sind dabei auf diese kleine feine Restaurant gestoßen. Wir waren jetzt das 2te mal in einer Woche da und jedesmal hat uns das Essen überzeugt. Meine Frau hatte einmal gebackenen Karpfen und mit mir auh einmal das Schäufele. Ihr als geborene Frankin hat es immer geschmeckt und mir als Ostfriesen auch. Unsere Kids waren begeistert vom Käsespätzle und der Wiener schnitzel. Wir kommen gerne in unserem nächsten Franken Urlaub wieder.

Sehr nette Bedienung, aufmerksam und freundlich. Wir hatten Schäufele und Karpfen, beides war ein absoluter Genuss. Wir können das Restaurant wärmstens empfehlen.

Herrliche Location: toller Biergarten mitten im Grünen. Es gibt dort das gute Weissenoher Bier: Ich empfehle dazu das Schäuferla!

The menu is well-organized. I've eaten there several times now, and it's truly delicious. The prices are absolutely reasonable, not expensive at all. Delicious draft beer. Super friendly service; even the dogs were given a bowl of water.

Just my opinion: I can get fries at any snack bar, but I rarely eat them. Fried potatoes would be more to my taste, or maybe crispy potato wedges. Otherwise, everything was great. I'd be happy to come back.

We had an excellent roast pork shoulder. Order in advance! With sauerkraut, mixed salad as an alternative, and dumplings. Plus a delicious beer. We were very satisfied. Campers can pre-order until 4 p.m.

From reservation to payment, it was an experience that will probably never be topped. Thank you, Gerhard, for this wonderful evening at your establishment. We stopped by to eat Schäufele (shoulder of pork) at the Kunstmühle and were delighted with the food. The service was excellent, thank you, Matze. At the end, there was even accordion music included. We spent four days at the Zur Mühle campsite, and what a blessing! There's a fantastic restaurant right next door. We went there three times, and the food was truly delicious—prepared with love. Gerhard and Grit are a well-coordinated team—they work hand in hand. Gerhard's musical entertainment made the evening perfect! We'll be back and highly recommend it!

We spontaneously decided to have dinner here as guests of the campsite. The staff immediately made every effort to get us a table – the restaurant was very busy. Everyone was very friendly, the service was great, and the food was absolutely delicious! The cheese spaetzle was particularly great, as were the shoulder of pork and roast pork. Even the tomato sauce for the children's meal was really delicious and homemade. We felt very comfortable. The prices are absolutely reasonable. Highly recommended!

No matter where you've been on vacation, you can stay for a couple of days, enjoy the service, and the food couldn't be better. It's like being a family, and we're always happy to return.

The beer is good, the food is average. Last food order was at 8:15 p.m. I would have liked to order something else at 8:30 p.m. And if it had only been fries, I would have been happy. What a shame.

Amazing food! Very tasty. Losing one star because the kitchen is very inflexible. Eating in is fine, but taking it out is too complicated. Whether I put it on a plate or in a to-go bowl—sorry, I come from a restaurant background myself—I don't understand. I would have happily waited a long time for good food. We would have taken food for €45 to go, which is a shame! We've eaten there the last few days, and it's always been great and delicious. But with a few more customers during peak hours, we quickly became overwhelmed.

A tranquil campsite. But that's not what we're talking about today. As a Hanoverian, I ate "Schäufele" (a kind of pork shoulder) for the first time today. Braised/baked pork shoulder with a large rind that falls off the meat. I'm torn... But only because I don't know which was better, the shoulder or the sauce. A definite recommendation! It gets crowded in the evenings, especially around 8:00 p.m., probably with camping guests. All in all, a definite recommendation!

I've been a guest in the relaxed, homely atmosphere of the Kunstmühle several times now, and I can only say that I'm more and more impressed each time. In every respect! I'd happily give the food more than 5 stars, if possible, whether it's carp, shoulder of pork, potato dumplings, pulled pork, or other delicacies on the menu. I'd also like to give the relaxed and friendly staff a plus. I also appreciate the service, where you can take drinks with you as you order, and make yourself comfortable until your meals are served after a short wait. ...

An experience we will never forget – for all the wrong reasons We ate at the restaurant the day before and had a very mixed experience. Out of four dishes, three tasted like something that had been fished out of a deep fryer and then forgotten in the sun. Only one dish – the “pork shoulder” – saved the evening, and that was solely because of the taste. Still, we decided to give the place another chance, as we had been looking forward to trying something else from the menu, which hopefully had not been a trip to the deep fryer. We had booked a table and agreed with the waiter that we would sit inside. When we arrived, we were instead directed to a table outside. When we politely pointed out that we had a reservation inside, we were greeted with mockery and a flippant attitude. We decided to leave – and as we left, we were scolded behind our backs. Unfortunately for the staff, we understood every word. It was both embarrassing and unprofessional. We will never go back. Fortunately, there are many other good restaurants in the area where you can both get good food and be treated with respect.

A very nice place to eat, and there was a nice playground for our children just 15 meters away! The food was delicious, the staff friendly, and the owner even played the accordion for a bit!

Absolutely delicious. Good local dishes and good local beer. Quite expensive for self-service, though. As a couple with our 4-year-old boy, we spent just under €75. And we ate well, but not lavishly.

We went to the Playmobil Fun Park in Zirndorf over Pentecost. We came back every evening. We were very satisfied with the food and service. There's a playground nearby for children. Kitchen hours until 8:15 p.m. (June 2025). On the last day, we wanted to try the delicious Kaiserschmarrn again. Unfortunately, it was 8:30 p.m. Which means we'll have to come back again 😉 Many thanks to the super friendly, personable team!

The people are friendly and, in their own way, have a traditional Franconian feel. You feel welcome. Unfortunately, we weren't impressed with the food. The schnitzel was, to our taste, underseasoned and too dry. The cheese spaetzle definitely needed more flair. Unfortunately, the value for money isn't quite right. Overall, the food seemed outdated. It was a bit of a shame.

Gerhard is a great waiter with a heart and the kitchen cooks with love. It tastes really good and has a perfect price-performance ratio.

Cozy, warm and really tasty – a real insider tip! We visited the restaurant Zur Kunstmühle at the idyllic campsite in Zirndorf – and we were thrilled! The rustic ambience right next to nature creates a relaxed, feel-good atmosphere, perfect for a break with good food. The restaurant really impressed us from a culinary point of view: the side salad was fresh, crunchy and beautifully presented. The carp and carp fillets were excellent – ​​golden brown and crispy on the outside, wonderfully tender and tasty on the inside. You can immediately tell that the food here is cooked with love and quality. The service was also very friendly and attentive. Overall, a great experience with fair value for money. If you're in Zirndorf, you should definitely visit Zur Kunstmühle - we'll definitely be back!

We have eaten here several times and are always happy to receive such friendly and friendly service. There's never been anything to complain about about the food. The portions are a decent size and it always tastes delicious. You can tell from the staff that they enjoy their job. Always in a good mood and there are no complaints even when special requests are made. We'll definitely be in the beer garden more often in the summer ;-)
