A cozy restaurant with an upscale atmosphere, friendly, fast service and delicious food. Went to the restaurant with 7 people on the 3rd of Advent. Would love to come back. PRICE/performance is right.

Yesterday we had dinner with 13 people and were very satisfied and had a great evening. A very appealing atmosphere, very tasty food and the employees were very accommodating and always had a funny saying on their lips. The price-performance ratio is very good and because we felt so comfortable, we will definitely come back.

Wow. What a good decision. Warm people are reflected in the food. What a joy it is to be here and to be able to be entertained. You immediately forget that there are original krostizers. We were there after a funeral in the afternoon and the restaurant could not be reached by phone. We arrived at a set table, were welcomed quite well, ordered our drinks after a while and then the food order came. After a quick look at the menu, the prices were quite OK for today's time, not cheap but still affordable (I had 1x apple strudel) around €7.50, 1x scoop of ice cream, a piece of strudel and a good portion of vanilla sauce with a little cream, beautifully presented , Strudel was warm. Ice was still so cold that it didn't melt straight away. Unfortunately, due to a lack of space, we sat in the entrance, which means that the door can also be closed. The waitress wasn't too intrusively friendly and the ambience was good too, the food all came at the same time.

Wir haben uns wie immer sehr wohl gefühlt, wurden freundlich bedient, obwohl noch 2 größere Gesellschaften da waren. Die Essen waren schmackhaft und sogar meine betagte Mutter hat fest alles aufgegessen! Lange warten mussten wir auch nicht!

Essen wurde nach 1 1/2 Stunden Wartezeit gebracht, die Laune war im Keller.... Die Preise sind nicht gerechtfertigt, schade. Schnitzel in diesem Restaurant zu bestellen ist nicht empfehlenswert....

Unfortunately, our experience at the restaurant mentioned was very disappointing. The main problem was the oversalting of the food, a shortcoming that was consistently evident in all of our group's dishes. In addition to the excessive addition of salt, some components of the meals seemed as if they relied heavily on ready-made sauces, which were paradoxically unaffected by the salt problem... This left parts of our food almost inedible. In addition, the prices were unreasonably high for the quality offered, which was particularly disappointing given the poor performance. The service did not reach the expected standard; it was cleared away while some were still eating, and our group's placement in a secluded, gloomy part of the establishment further diminished our experience. Overall, our experience was well below expectations and due to the points mentioned and the exorbitant prices for the quality offered, I cannot recommend the restaurant.

The food and drinks we ordered were served to us in a very short time, lovingly prepared. All tables in the cozy restaurant are decorated with high-quality napkins and candles. The clearly laid out menu is quite extensive, making it difficult to decide on a dish. There is something on offer for every taste. There are also extra offers that are not on the menu but also sound very tempting. A big compliment goes to the kitchen. Everything tasted very good. Im Rosengarten Leipzig ist es gemütlich, höfliche Bedienung und sehr gutes Essen kann man weiter empfehlen .

Die Essensportion war relativ klein und die Suppe wurde lauwarm serviert ohne einer Scheibe Toast. Dafür wurden wir aber fünfmal gefragt, ob das Essen ge- schmeckt hat. Sehr schöne Gaststätte, aber die Qualität und Menge des Essens hat uns nicht befriedigt.

Az az igazi jó "kockás abroszos" vendéglő. Teljesen otthon éreztem magam nálunk. A pincér azonnal felismerte, hogy magyarok vagyunk, pár szót mondott is, ami nagyon jól esett. Másnap este is ide jöttünk vacsorázni. Azt hiszem ez mindent elmond. Remek hely. Bátran ajánlom mindenkinek!

Sehr schönes Lokal, mit 12 Leuten Samstag Abend gegessen, alle hatten gleichzeitig ihr Essen, Bedienung top, die Luft/Wärme war ein wenig bedrückend, sonst alles sehr gut, preislich top (Rumpsteak mit Beilage für ca.26.50€, große Portionen) gern wieder

Das Essen war wie immer vorzüglich man kann sich zwischen den leckeren 😋 Speisen garnicht entscheiden wir fühlen uns immer sehr wohl .Das Personal ist bemüht allen gerecht zuwerden immer einen Besuch wert ich hoffe bleiben uns noch lange erhalten

Wir waren an einem Freitag Abend in diesem Restaurant zum Essen. Das Restaurant ist telefonisch schlecht erreichbar, ich brauchte gegen 18:00 ca. 10 Versuche, bis ich jemanden am Telefon hatte. Einen Anrufbeantworter gab es nicht. Ich fragte dann, ob wir gegen 19:00 mit drei Personen zum Essen kommen könnten. Nach kurzer Überlegung sagte die Dame am Telefon, dass es ihr Leid tue und an diesem Tag leider keine Chance bestehe. Als wir dann trotzdem hin fuhren, waren wir überrascht, dass sowohl draußen als auch drinnen nur ein kleiner Teil der Tische besetzt war. Ein Herr begrüßte uns freundlich und sagte, dass es kein Problem sei, sowohl drinnen als auch draußen, entweder sofort oder um 19:00 Uhr. Das fanden wir merkwürdig, vielleicht kann man da die interne Kommunikation noch optimieren. :-) Wir kamen dann gegen 19 Uhr an und wurden freundlich empfangen, der nasse Tisch wurde für uns getrocknet und Kissen wurden gebracht. Auffällig war die ganze Zeit über die freundliche, familiäre Atmosphäre. Die Dame, die uns bedient hat, war freundlich und ihre lockere Art gefiel uns sehr. Das Essen, Roulade und Rösti, war einwandfrei und reichlich, die Klöße haben ganz besonders gut geschmeckt. Es wurde auch schnell gebracht und die Dame, die bediente, hatte die Gäste sehr gut im Blick und war sofort zur Stelle, wenn jemand einen Wunsch hatte. Zum Abschluss bestellten wir dann noch 2 Kräuter Wilhelm Leipzig und 1 Espresso. Gebracht wurden dann der Espresso und 2 doppelte Schnäpse. Wir freuten uns, wie auch manchmal in anderen Restaurants, "einen aufs Haus" zu bekommen und bedankten uns dafür. Die Dame sagte, sie dächte, für 2 erwachsene Männer wäre das die richtige Menge. Wegen der Schnäpse und auch, weil es so nett war, gaben wir ein großzügiges Trinkgeld und verließen, begleitet von toller Musik von The Who das Lokal. Am nächsten Morgen warf ich dann einen Blick auf den Kassenbon. Das vermeintliche Geschenk aufs Haus war gar kein Geschenk. Die beiden Schnäpse kosteten jeweils 5 €, also das doppelte von dem Preis, der in der Karte stand. Doppelte gab es in der Karte nicht. Etwas anderes zu bringen, als bestellt wurde und es sich dann bezahlen zu lassen ist schon dreist. Damit war der Zauber des vorhergehenden Abends irgendwie verpufft. Warum macht man so etwas? Das hat ein so tolles Restaurant doch sicher nicht nötig.

Wir waren aus Anlass eines Trauerkaffees hier zu Gast und wurden rundum prima versorgt. Bedienung und Chef sehr zuvorkommend, Essen sehr lecker, dazu bei den hohen Temperaturen noch ein klimatisierter Wintergarten, also alles bestens. Vielen Dank!

Der Rosengarten ist ein sehr gepflegtes Restaurant. Das Ambiente ist gediegen, die Toiletten vorbildlich sauber. Der Service ist von einer professionellen Freundlichkeit geprägt. Auch wenn ich alleine zum Essen war, scheint das Restaurant doch auch gerne für Familienfeiern genutzt zu werden. Anmerken möchte ich das gehobene Preissegment, das sollte man wissen, bevor man sich auf den Weg macht. 5€ für ein Alkoholfreies Hefeweizen finde ich ziemlich üppig. Der Matjes war ansprechend angerichtet und geschmacklich völlig in Ordnung. In den Rezensionen wurde mehrfach auf die schwierige Parksituation hingewiesen, allerdings ist die Straßenbahnhaltestelle "An der Märchenwiese" auch in zwei Minuten Fußweg sehr gut zu erreichen. Der Freisitz ist trotz der nahen Straßenbahn und dem Verkehr auf der Zwickauer Straße ein lauschiges Plätzchen.

Wunderbares Restaurant mit anspruchsvollen Menüideen ! Vorbestellung ist für einen gelungenen Besuch zu empfehlen ; aber man kann auch kurzfristig vor Ort , Glück haben .!

Wir waren heute zu viert zum Mittagessen und können nur Positives schreiben. Sehr freundliches, aufmerksames und gut gelauntes Personal. Der Preis ist absolut angemessen. Waren mit der Familie gemeinsam auf Empfehlung hier. Leider war das Schweinesteak mit Würzfleisch überbacken wie eine trockene zähe Schuhsohle, absolut kein Genuss, meine Mutter (78) konnte dies kaum essen und ließ die Hälfte auf dem Teller. Auch die anderen Essen begeisterten nicht, waren zudem ziemlich lieblos angerichtet. Mein Rindersteak war eigentlich noch roh. Der Fisch meiner Frau fad. Wir können die Schwärmerei meiner Bekannten nicht nachvollziehen und kommen nicht wieder….schade

Wir waren am Abend dort essen. Leider waren die Teller sehr wenig dekoriert. Das Essen darauf war teilweise nicht essbar. Das Personal hat sich über Gäste lustig gemacht. Ich persönlich würde dort niemals wieder essen gehen.

Diese Woche hatte ich eine Information im Briefkasten, dass man hier am Wochenende Speisen reservieren kann. Da ich der Meinung bin, dass man auf diese Weise die eigene Faulheit mit einem guten Zweck kaschieren kann, habe ich das Angebot ausprobiert. Es gab Rouladen mit Rotkohl und Klößen. Es war wirklich sehr lecker!

Das Restaurant liegt bisschen außerhalb von Leipzig. Es lohnt sich jedoch für sehr gute regionale Hausmannskost dort hin zu fahren. Es ist sehr empfehlenswert!

Wir waren hier zum Mittagessen auf unserem kurzen Leipzigbesuch. Sehr angenehmes Restaurant, nette Bedienung und leckeres Essen. Wir hatten zwei Gerichte von der Saisonkarte, sehr lecker und preislich angemessen. Wenn ich mal wieder in der Ecke bin, dann komme ich gerne wieder.

This restaurant has a nice ambiance. The food is not bad, some dishes are better than others, it’s a little pricy. The service is kind of cold and sometimes downright snippy. We asked if the door could be closed and were answered that the employees needed oxygen. Anyways it’s an ok restaurant.

Wir waren in diesem Restaurant, weil es in der Nähe vom Panometer liegt. Es werden deutsche Speisen angeboten. Wir waren vom Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis überzeugt. Die Speisen kommen ohne großen Schnickschnack heiß an den Tisch. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Es scheint aber empfehlenswert zu sein, vorher zu reservieren. Wir haben trotzdem einen sehr schönen Platz im Obergeschoss bekommen und wurden auch dort flott und sehr freundlich bedient.

Familienessen mit schönem Ambiente wir hatten uns dieses Restaurant ausgesucht, da wir in der Nähe eine Ferienwohnung angemietet hatten. Sehr schönes Restaurant. Wir waren alle begeistert. Wir wurden im oberen Stockwerk plaziert. Das Dachgeschoss war schon eingerichtet. Unsere Kellnerin war sehr zuvorkommend. Das Essen war richtig gut und lecker. Wir haben ca. eine halbe Stunde auf das Essen gewartet. Das ist völlig ok, da man ja nicht im Schnellrestaurant ist. Fazit: Falls wir wieder einmal in Leipzig sind, werden wir wieder kommen.

Zum Rosengarten is a restaurant outside the city but it has good connections by two tram lines from the center. We had our reunions of school mates there since years (not annually but periodically) and we were always well received. A private room can be booked without charge provided the participants will eat and drink there between 12 and 5 p.m. Food is really good - classic - not adventurous - at very reasonable prices. Thus, I can recommend Rosengarten for people who want to organise private meetings and who are not afraid of a tram ride of about 20 min. The environment is quiet and the service is good.

We had a lovely dinner here. The dishes are classic and no-frills, but the ingredients are high quality, very well prepared and there is something on the menu for everyone. Service was excellent. We had a table in the back with a great view on the garden. We plan on returning when the weather is better so we can sit outside.

The restaurant has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the food was delicious! A great selection of food and drinks, and very generous portions. They cater to gluten allergies and offered friendly service. Easily accessible by tram, in a nice, quiet neighbourhood not far from the city centre.

This restaurant ,although out of town, is very easy to find ; just hop on trams 10 or 11 and the stop is just 50 metres walk away from our favourite restaurant in Leipzig. All the staff are pleasant and helpful,--- and no problems with Gluten-free . Asparagus soup was delicious and a huge tasty salad was followed by a good Pork snitzel with Creamed Vegetables and also pan-fried beef,onions and potatoes local style --- absolutely Yummy!! Desserts of local strawberries and icecream with a fruit syrup , then coffees rounded off a good evening meal. This is a very popular place to eat and it was easy to see why; There's a warm feel to Zum Rosengarten, lovely staff and really tasty food, if only we had more time in Leipzig then many repeat visits would have ensued !!

Situated in the "Märchenwiese" district, this restaurant is not exactly in the bright center of Leipzig's tourist patches, however it is definitely worth a visit! The food is good, ranging from mostly local to some varying international specialties, the prices reasonable, and the service is excellent! The staff go out of their way to make you feel thoroughly at home. The restaurant is located opposite a small park, with a beautiful terrace looking out to it. Perfect for lunch or dinner, for a romantic meal for two or for all the family.

Zum Rosengarten is a family owned Restaurant in Lössnig, south of Leipzig. It has an all-year flair that invites you to a pleasant dining experience. The restaurant is located in a quiet and green suburban area, easily reachable both by tram and by car. The terrace is a perfect place to enjoy a drink or a light meal during the summer, whereas the interior is of more elegant nature, suitable for occasions such as romantic dinners and various celebrations. The food is exquisite, ranging from typical german cuisine to various european dishes, and the wine selection is outstanding, including some exquisite Rhine-Hessian brands. Prices range from normal to mildly expensive, but the atmosphere and the food is well worth it.
