We called 15 minutes before our visit and were told to just come along, there was plenty of space. Fifteen minutes later, we arrived at a full restaurant and were told at the door to come back in 30 minutes because there were no tables available. I cannot recommend them.

I ordered food with no sauce, food came with sauce and the server never came to check to see if it was okay. Not one time.

We have been visiting Leipzig for a few weeks and we got takeaway for dinner tonight. We easily ordered online and were so happy with our choice of spaghetti carbonara and insalata mista. There was plenty enough for the two of us to share. We absolutely loved our meal and every bit of it was delicious. We are already planning to have the same meal next week! We definitely recommend Milano.

Yes, the service could be more organized and friendlier. Overall, it was still okay. My scampi starter was amazing, and the pizza was really good. The atmosphere is pleasant. If you're looking for pizza in the city, this is a definite recommendation. 😋

We had a pizza there but the pizza was very far from being a good and tasty one. The name "Milano" has NOTHING to relate to italian since all the people there including the cooks were clearly not italians. The male waiter was unfriendly. Strongly to avoid.

First of all: The pizzas are really huge for the price. But that's about it, because they weren't particularly tasty. But they weren't really bad either. Added to that was the rather sluggish service, who only noticed us after ten minutes. Even though I walked past every single (!!) server on my way to the restroom. And there were only five tables occupied, and four servers were milling around. The ambiance, however, was stylish, and the restrooms were clean.

It came quickly and was delicious. The little ones got their food when we got our starters, without us having to announce it beforehand. Well thought out 😊 highly recommended.

We went for cocktails with the kids. It was 8 p.m. and there was hardly anyone going on. We had to wait for cocktails. The service was friendly at first, but not so much when I paid. The change was just slapped down on the table. Everything was in 5-cent pieces. Then the lady made a 10-cent mistake. But I didn't care. It was a shame, it dampened the mood a bit.

Unfortunately, a very disappointing experience. Card payments are only accepted for amounts over €20 – and this is only stated on a small note hanging on the open door, making it easy to miss. I ordered a takeaway coffee and only realized after the first sip that only cash payments were accepted. This is simply not customer-friendly these days. Please communicate this more clearly!

Was not expecting such delicious Italian food in Germany for such a reasonable price, so close to the Leipzig hauptbahnhof. The pizza was among the best I've had in Germany and the pasta was among the best I've had in my life, it was phenomenal! Definitely recommend to pizza and pasta lovers visiting Leipzig :)

The Milano is a true delight for all the senses. The ambience is stylish and inviting, the food is of outstanding quality, and the service is extremely attentive. Only the somewhat insensitive way the chef treated his staff in front of the guests marred the otherwise perfect image. Nevertheless, this restaurant is a definite recommendation for lovers of Italian cuisine.

Initially, the service was good (and relaxed). After my tortellini was served, no waiter came by, despite empty tables (both inside and outside). Firstly, I got the wrong dish, which didn't bother me too much because I was hungry. However, I would have liked some salt with the food, as it was unfortunately completely tasteless. The sauce tasted very watery and not really seasoned. They also skimped on Parmesan cheese. It's a real shame. The ambiance itself was very pleasant for the busy area. In my case, a bachelorette party (female) passed by, who had positioned themselves right in front of the restaurant and were singing loudly along to the music. The restaurant is definitely not to blame for that, but they could have asked to move away from the terrace a bit so as not to disturb the guests. Maybe I'll give it another chance, as I suspected I was just a bit unlucky at the time.

I recently visited Milano in Leipzig for the first time and I was absolutely thrilled! As soon as you enter the restaurant, you feel like you're in a small trattoria in Italy – a warm ambiance, lovely decor, and a very friendly welcome. The menu is authentically Italian, with a great selection of pasta, pizza, meat, and fish dishes. I opted for the homemade tagliatelle with strips of beef fillet and truffle – an absolute dream! My companion's pizza was also crispy, generously topped, and wonderfully aromatic. A particularly positive aspect: You can tell that the ingredients used here are fresh. The service was attentive, polite, and yet pleasantly unobtrusive. Our special requests were fulfilled without any problems, and the staff always had a smile on their faces. The espresso at the end was also typically Italian – strong, hot, and perfect. The value for money is absolutely spot on here, and if you're looking for a special evening with good food and a truly Italian atmosphere, Milano is the place for you. I'll definitely be back!

One of the best restaurants in Leipzig: - Taste pastas. - the portion is big enough to fill you up. - the two male waiters are great. - the manager is also friendly, customer and solution-oriented. - Price/performance is right. I've eaten there about 15 times and I've never been disappointed.

This restaurant is located very close to Leipzig main train station. Therefore it probably lives from the arriving guests. Modern furnishings. Quite stylish too. Lots of seating outside too. The ambience is absolutely okay, the service is friendly and attentive. Everything clean and tidy inside and out. The food can be rated as normal. Nothing special, but quite okay. The recommended in-house lemonade is only mixed from bottles. The salad wasn't worth the price. The pizza wasn't any better either. Too bad...

The Milano is a nice restaurant in the old town of Dresden, the service is fast and attentive. You can sit outside in the sun if you like. The food was very good, well arranged and the taste was also convincing!

Well located restaurant in a top location. Only the ambience, in my opinion, does not correspond to an Italian-run restaurant. A bit simple for my taste. Jazz as background music isn't quite as appropriate either, I think. But what's important: service and food were top. Absolutely worthy of an Italian 👍 keep it up.

Absolutely great shop. I was there at short notice and well after 9:15 p.m. and still got something to eat. The pizza was incredibly good, big enough and also absolutely great in terms of price. The ambience is very nice and there was nothing to complain about about the service. Despite my somewhat “relaxed” outfit, the waiter was very friendly and accommodating :) I can only recommend it.

The service was excellent, the ambiance cozy and harmonious. The food was top-notch on the first visit, and okay on the second. Hence "only" four stars.

I wasn't the only guest here. I'd like to give you readers an impression. I found it very convenient that you could reserve a table at short notice, especially for eight people. What bothered me most was the lack of space between the tables. We arrived from the convention (book fair) completely exhausted with our bags and unfortunately could barely get through. Second point We ordered a drink, and it didn't arrive until about 5-10 minutes after ordering. We ordered an appetizer with a casserole, which unfortunately arrived with all the rest (pizzas). I wasn't the only one who thought that was annoying. But after a few negative points, there's also something good. I really liked that the food came quickly, but at the same time, I found the prices far too high. Overall, I find the atmosphere very chilled/relaxed. I hope it was readable, if not, I apologize 🫠 Thanks anyway for the experience! Maybe something can be changed, even if a small comment doesn't make much difference. The pizza has the right balance of crunchiness and cheesiness. Really good. The tables are a bit crowded but otherwise the atmosphere is very appealing. The employees are friendly without being pushy or fake. Toilets clean. Everything's fine. I'd love to come back.

We had pizza and spaghetti carbonara. Unfortunately, in terms of taste, there's no reason to go again. Especially since the food is priced at the top end of the scale. The price-performance ratio is not right. We come from Munich and are therefore used to a lot in terms of prices. The ambience is more reminiscent of a hall with tables than of a restaurant. The service is average and not a recommendation. There are better restaurants in the surrounding area.

Centrally located and easy to find. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The food was very tasty and the prices were good. Definitely recommended if you are in Leipzig.

We were blinded by the very good rating. I'm sorry, but with the best will in the world I can't get more stars. Food mercilessly overpriced. Quality of the food, well. I had spaghetti that was nothing except spicy. Inattentive service. If the temperature is below zero, the entrance is simply left open. Bad luck for those sitting next to them.

Our visit was last summer. Price-performance was OK. Unfortunately, the taste is not a highlight. Unfortunately, service was pretty bad that day, so the store overall didn't leave a good impression. Given the high density of really good restaurants in Leipzig, this won't be a repeat

I found this restaurant by chance. I thought Italian, you can't go wrong! And that's right: Insalata Caprese is great and very tasty!! Then the obligatory Spaghetti Aglio e olio is a dream with fresh peppers and lots of fresh garlic. I really enjoyed it and liked it!! Gladly again next time

We were at the restaurant at around 5 p.m. Apart from one other customer, we were the only ones in the restaurant. The ambience of the building and the Italian restaurant itself is nice, but our waiter spoke very little and when he did, he spoke very quietly. Because we were the only guests at the time, the food came very quickly and was delicious.

Disaster! The delivery took 2 hours, the food was cold and completely tasteless. Anyone expecting a baked cheese with tomatoes at Pecorino Al Forno will be shocked. It was a very bad tomato soup and there was no cheese to be seen. Spaghetti Bolognese and Tagliatelle Spinaci e Pollo were cold, tasteless and not even salt could save anything. Never again!

May 2024 Simply great, I eat pizza or pasta here very regularly. We know each other now :-) I can highly recommend Pizza Capricciosa or Spinaci but also the Tortelloni Ricotta. There are two things in the service, but overall it's always a pleasure. Addendum September 24 Ate rigatoni today, it was "normal" and nothing special, I'd rather stick with the pizza. Counter staff looks slightly bored.

We came on a Saturday evening around 9 p.m., without a reservation, there were hardly any guests there. The service was initially very attentive. Drinks and food came quickly, looked good, nothing special in terms of taste. Around 10 p.m. the waitress started tidying everything up, closing umbrellas, removing candles and cards from the table (without asking), our candle was also out - instead of getting a new one, it was taken away from us and the atmosphere was more than gone :/ We still ordered tiramisu (it was quite good) and the chocolate cake for dessert, which unfortunately wasn't good at all. Towards the end we were asked to leave because they wanted to close (it was maybe half past ten - actually open until 11 p.m.). It's all a shame, because the ambience (especially inside) is very nice, and the service is also very friendly and quick, which then wore off over the course of the evening. We probably won't be back any time soon.
