Milano in Leipzig

Well-located restaurant in a prime location. The only thing that doesn't match an Italian-run restaurant, in my opinion, is the ambiance. A bit plain for my taste. Jazz as background music isn't quite right either, I think. But what matters: the service and food were top-notch. Absolutely worthy of an Italian restaurant 👍 Keep it up.

My arrabiata was a tomato sauce with no chilli and no garlic.

Absolutely great shop. I was there at short notice and well after 9:15 p.m. and still got something to eat. The pizza was incredibly good, big enough and also absolutely great in terms of price. The ambience is very nice and there was nothing to complain about about the service. Despite my somewhat “relaxed” outfit, the waiter was very friendly and accommodating :) I can only recommend it.

The service was excellent, the ambiance cozy and harmonious. The food was top-notch on the first visit, and okay on the second. Hence "only" four stars.

I wasn't the only guest here. I'd like to give you readers an impression. I found it very convenient that you could reserve a table at short notice, especially for eight people. What bothered me most was the lack of space between the tables. We arrived from the convention (book fair) completely exhausted with our bags and unfortunately could barely get through. Second point We ordered a drink, and it didn't arrive until about 5-10 minutes after ordering. We ordered an appetizer with a casserole, which unfortunately arrived with all the rest (pizzas). I wasn't the only one who thought that was annoying. But after a few negative points, there's also something good. I really liked that the food came quickly, but at the same time, I found the prices far too high. Overall, I find the atmosphere very chilled/relaxed. I hope it was readable, if not, I apologize 🫠 Thanks anyway for the experience! Maybe something can be changed, even if a small comment doesn't make much difference. I was in Leipzig for two evenings, and I was here both nights. That says a lot. Absolutely delicious, very friendly, nice chilled music, a lovely atmosphere, and all at a very reasonable price. Keep it up and THANK YOU! 😀

The pizza has the right balance of crunchiness and cheesiness. Really good. The tables are a bit crowded but otherwise the atmosphere is very appealing. The employees are friendly without being pushy or fake. Toilets clean. Everything's fine. I'd love to come back.

We had pizza and spaghetti carbonara. Unfortunately, in terms of taste, there's no reason to go again. Especially since the food is priced at the top end of the scale. The price-performance ratio is not right. We come from Munich and are therefore used to a lot in terms of prices. The ambience is more reminiscent of a hall with tables than of a restaurant. The service is average and not a recommendation. There are better restaurants in the surrounding area.

Centrally located and easy to find. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The food was very tasty and the prices were good. Definitely recommended if you are in Leipzig.

We were blinded by the very good rating. I'm sorry, but with the best will in the world I can't get more stars. Food mercilessly overpriced. Quality of the food, well. I had spaghetti that was nothing except spicy. Inattentive service. If the temperature is below zero, the entrance is simply left open. Bad luck for those sitting next to them.

It is freshly prepared and there is an open kitchen where you can watch the chef really make the masses deliciously fresh

Our visit was last summer. Price-performance was OK. Unfortunately, the taste is not a highlight. Unfortunately, service was pretty bad that day, so the store overall didn't leave a good impression. Given the high density of really good restaurants in Leipzig, this won't be a repeat

I found this restaurant by chance. I thought Italian, you can't go wrong! And that's right: Insalata Caprese is great and very tasty!! Then the obligatory Spaghetti Aglio e olio is a dream with fresh peppers and lots of fresh garlic. I really enjoyed it and liked it!! Gladly again next time

Nice restaurant that invites you to linger. Attentive, friendly service, the food is very tasty and the price is right. The view into the kitchen is also very nice; you can watch the food being prepared.

We were at the restaurant at around 5 p.m. Apart from one other customer, we were the only ones in the restaurant. The ambience of the building and the Italian restaurant itself is nice, but our waiter spoke very little and when he did, he spoke very quietly. Because we were the only guests at the time, the food came very quickly and was delicious.

Disaster! The delivery took 2 hours, the food was cold and completely tasteless. Anyone expecting a baked cheese with tomatoes at Pecorino Al Forno will be shocked. It was a very bad tomato soup and there was no cheese to be seen. Spaghetti Bolognese and Tagliatelle Spinaci e Pollo were cold, tasteless and not even salt could save anything. Never again!

Super tasty pizzas and spaghetti carbonara, right in the pedestrian zone and still at a good price. If you don't need a great local atmosphere, you're in good hands here.

May 2024 Simply great, I eat pizza or pasta here very regularly. We know each other now :-) I can highly recommend Pizza Capricciosa or Spinaci but also the Tortelloni Ricotta. There are two things in the service, but overall it's always a pleasure. Addendum September 24 Ate rigatoni today, it was "normal" and nothing special, I'd rather stick with the pizza. Counter staff looks slightly bored.

Very nice restaurant in a pedestrian zone with the possibility of sitting outside. The waiter was extremely courteous and very child-friendly (extra plate, lollipop, drinking straw, high chair). The food was good average. Gladly again.

Pizza dough is okay, but the toppings are very boring. Lots of staff, but the service could be better. Card payment only from €20.

The Carbonara was very good, a special cocktail request was no problem (Virgin Colada) and the portion was more than sufficient. Happy to come back!

We came on a Saturday evening around 9 p.m., without a reservation, there were hardly any guests there. The service was initially very attentive. Drinks and food came quickly, looked good, nothing special in terms of taste. Around 10 p.m. the waitress started tidying everything up, closing umbrellas, removing candles and cards from the table (without asking), our candle was also out - instead of getting a new one, it was taken away from us and the atmosphere was more than gone :/ We still ordered tiramisu (it was quite good) and the chocolate cake for dessert, which unfortunately wasn't good at all. Towards the end we were asked to leave because they wanted to close (it was maybe half past ten - actually open until 11 p.m.). It's all a shame, because the ambience (especially inside) is very nice, and the service is also very friendly and quick, which then wore off over the course of the evening. We probably won't be back any time soon.

We were in a very busy restaurant on a Tuesday evening... what immediately struck us was the staff... There was only one service person for the whole restaurant... you noticed a bit of overwhelm and some of the food was left under the heat lamp for a very long time... orders were sometimes ignored and so instead of one bruschetta, we got 2... which didn't happen yet was so kindly insisted.. "You ordered 2" The first guests left because they weren't served... So the restaurant management has totally failed here... Nevertheless, the food was very tasty and the open kitchen was inviting...

We enjoyed it very much. The pizza had plenty of toppings and the base was exactly as it should be. A little thicker on the edge and nice and thin on the inside. The service was very friendly and the food came very quickly.

I am in Leipzig regarding. d. Book fair there. And I went into the restaurant "on the chance" because I was in the mood for Italian. It looked very nice from the outside. The ambience and the rooms plus the design are very appealing. A warm, cozy atmosphere. The service and the food were absolutely top. I particularly noticed the boss's special manner. The restaurant was very busy and there were always more guests coming. He had everything under control and that is transferred to d. whole restaurant. Above all, “you” want to be treated like that as a guest. Very great gift and a true “master” in service. All the best for your restaurant!

We were in this restaurant for the first time on Saturday March 2nd, 2024 and the service was extremely friendly and not to mention the food, I ate a pizza and for me it was one of the best pizzas I have ever eaten, so that The restaurant can only be recommended and I will now only go there when I want to eat Italian food.

Delicious food and lemonades on the edge of Leipz city center, there is delicious pasta and slightly too salty pizza, as well as delicious salads.

Great vibes, delicous pizzas, even without the 50% sale they had today it would still be worth the price. Complicated pizza was done within 10 minutes, service was very kind.

We really liked it here. Very nice ambience, very very courteous and yet reserved service. The dishes (we had starter, main course, dessert) were ALL excellent. And what is very important to me, the food was hot. This seems to me to be a real problem in restaurants these days, because you often get lukewarm food or only parts of the dish are really warm. Everything was perfect here. There are also various alcoholic drinks (beer (Carlsberg, very tasty), wine and fancy drinks like Bacardi Sprizz and something like that). When you leave you even have the door held open. Absolute recommendation.

I was lucky to come across this restaurant just when I was in the mood for an Italian dinner. An establishment with pleasant service and great food, the atmosphere is also great. I was very satisfied.

One restaurant among many. The Milano became our choice for the evening. A Mista salad as a starter, a Volcano pizza with anchovies and a Diavola pizza with salami and pepperoni for the main course. The most outstanding thing was the service. Friendly, attentive, inquiring. Top. The food good. The place is clean and clear. For me personally the music was a bit loud and not well chosen. But that's just my personal feeling. Would I recommend the Milano? But sure. Gladly again. Just because of the excellent service.

Lecker zu Mittag gegessen. Service freundlich, offene einsehbare Küche, sehr leckeres Essen zu fairen Preisen, Portionen sind ausreichend, man wird satt. Pizza 30cm Durchmesser und gut belegt. Alles in allem, geht gerne dort Essen.

Kleine Pizzeria in Nähe des Bahnhofs,am Anfang der Fußgängerzone. Die Pizzen sind sehr lecker, mit ordentlich Belag. Service freundlich und schnell und den Pizzabäckern kann man bei der Arbeit zuschauen. Beim nächsten Leipzig Besuch werden wir mit Sicherheit wieder hier einkehren!

Aufmerksamer Kellner, schnelle leckere Pizza, die hausgemachte Limonaden waren sehr lecker. Die Vorspeise Pecorino al forno war köstlich.

Zunächst einmal wurden wir super freundlich empfangen. Das Ambiente ist toll mit einer schönen Inneneinrichtung und ruhiger Musik. Keine Hektik, kein Krach, keine Überfüllung und keine stickige Luft wie in vielen anderen Restaurants. Etwas erstaunt hat uns die komplett alkoholfreie Getränkekarte, hierfür gibt es leider einen halben Stern Abzug. Am Abend trinkt man dann doch ganz gerne mal einen leckeren Wein oder ein Bier (mit Alkohol) zum Essen. Außerdem gibt es einen weiteren halben Stern Abzug, weil sich bei der Pizza-Bestellung noch nicht einmal ein Belag austauschen ließ. Auf individuelle Wünsche wird leider nicht eingegangen. Das ist schade, denn von den beiden o.g. Kritikpunkten abgesehen, hätte das Restaurant in allen anderen Belangen definitiv 5 Sterne 🌟 verdient. Ambiente, Freundlichkeit des Personals und Preise sind absolut top. 100% Weiterempfehlung, aber bitte die Getränkekarte überarbeiten und mehr auf individuelle Essenswünsche der Kunden eingehen. Dann bleiben keine (Gäste-) Wünsche offen.

Nettes Personal, gute Pizza und schneller service☺️

Das Essen wurde frisch zubereitet und war lecker. Was mir nicht gefallen hat war die lange Wartezeit von fast 45 Minuten, obwohl es im Restaurant recht leer war. Außerdem war die sehr große Eingangstür durchgängig geöffnet, was es im Restaurant kalt und ungemütlich machte. Auf das eigentlich richtig gute Pizza Angebot (halber Preis) wurden wir leider nicht hingewiesen.

Fantastische Lage, frisches und leckeres Essen, mehr als nette und gastfreundliche Menschen - und alkoholfreies Pils vom Faß! In diesem Restaurant stimmt alles!
