The pizza was thin, crispy, and very tasty. I liked the atmosphere. Three stars because the expensive soda was served in uncalibrated glasses, and I doubt it was actually 0.4 liters.

The restaurant has a bistro feel, which isn't a bad thing at all. The staff is very friendly and attentive, and the food is simply delicious 😋. The pizzas are highly recommended. Thin crust, generous toppings, and a crispy yet juicy edge. A definite recommendation.

An Italian restaurant with many typical Italian dishes. While those who aren't fans of pizza or pasta won't be too disappointed by the other dishes, a frozen schnitzel (recognizable by its shape and breading) with a few fries for €23 is quite steep. The lasagna also had far too many layers of pasta. I expected more from the food. The beer menu also had incorrect labeling, which can be confusing, as you're offered a Helles and then receive a Weissbier. A 0.5-liter Wernersgrüner was not cheap at €5.90, and I would never have guessed it was Wernersgrüner based on the taste. The beer was served at a good temperature, though. The only annoying thing was that the waiter always leaned over the table/plate when he fetched or brought something. Perhaps this is due to the staff's training. Otherwise, I can recommend the restaurant to guests and friends of Italian food.

Nice if you're looking for a place near the main train station. Unfortunately, the staff wasn't very customer-oriented. When we asked if we could change tables, they only agreed after some unpleasant discussions, even though the restaurant was about 80% empty and didn't noticeably fill up in the following two hours. The food was okay, and the dining area was a bit chilly.

The staff was friendly, but the atmosphere was rather cold. The drinks were okay, but the price didn't match what was served. The lasagna consisted more or less of grated cheese and cheese slabs. The Bolognese sauce was very small and quite runny. The pasta was alright, but I expect something different from tortellini. The food got cold very quickly and didn't taste very good anymore.

The pizza was delicious. It wasn't crowded either. The staff was very friendly. Everything was perfect. It was a lovely evening.

Go to Italy first and see how to make a real Italian pizza 😝 The pizza unfortunately had little to do with Italian cuisine, and the service was quite arrogant. Very disappointing.

They lure you in with a large sign outside. There was a "Happy Hour" card on the bill, but later the waiter denied any knowledge of it. He rudely said they don't offer that anymore. That's practically fraud. On top of that, the food was mediocre at best. The €18 pizza tasted like a frozen pizza from Aldi. The tables were very close together; you were practically sitting on top of your neighbor. Never again.

We were there on December 25th, 2025 – and not just because it was one of the few places that was even open on that special day (Christmas Day!!) – no, above all, it was TOP-NOTCH in every respect. The food was incredibly delicious, and the service was excellent! Definitely go and treat yourself!

We called 15 minutes before our visit and were told to just come along, there was plenty of space. Fifteen minutes later, we arrived at a full restaurant and were told at the door to come back in 30 minutes because there were no tables available. I cannot recommend them.

We have been visiting Leipzig for a few weeks and we got takeaway for dinner tonight. We easily ordered online and were so happy with our choice of spaghetti carbonara and insalata mista. There was plenty enough for the two of us to share. We absolutely loved our meal and every bit of it was delicious. We are already planning to have the same meal next week! We definitely recommend Milano.

We had a pizza there but the pizza was very far from being a good and tasty one. The name "Milano" has NOTHING to relate to italian since all the people there including the cooks were clearly not italians. The male waiter was unfriendly. Strongly to avoid.

First of all: The pizzas are really huge for the price. But that's about it, because they weren't particularly tasty. But they weren't really bad either. Added to that was the rather sluggish service, who only noticed us after ten minutes. Even though I walked past every single (!!) server on my way to the restroom. And there were only five tables occupied, and four servers were milling around. The ambiance, however, was stylish, and the restrooms were clean.

It came quickly and was delicious. The little ones got their food when we got our starters, without us having to announce it beforehand. Well thought out 😊 highly recommended.

Unfortunately, a very disappointing experience. Card payments are only accepted for amounts over €20 – and this is only stated on a small note hanging on the open door, making it easy to miss. I ordered a takeaway coffee and only realized after the first sip that only cash payments were accepted. This is simply not customer-friendly these days. Please communicate this more clearly!

Only the somewhat insensitive way the chef treated his staff in front of the guests marred the otherwise perfect image. Nevertheless, this restaurant is a definite recommendation for lovers of Italian cuisine.

Initially, the service was good (and relaxed). After my tortellini was served, no waiter came by, despite empty tables (both inside and outside). Firstly, I got the wrong dish, which didn't bother me too much because I was hungry. However, I would have liked some salt with the food, as it was unfortunately completely tasteless. The sauce tasted very watery and not really seasoned. They also skimped on Parmesan cheese. It's a real shame. The ambiance itself was very pleasant for the busy area. In my case, a bachelorette party (female) passed by, who had positioned themselves right in front of the restaurant and were singing loudly along to the music. The restaurant is definitely not to blame for that, but they could have asked to move away from the terrace a bit so as not to disturb the guests. Maybe I'll give it another chance, as I suspected I was just a bit unlucky at the time.

I recently visited Milano in Leipzig for the first time and I was absolutely thrilled! As soon as you enter the restaurant, you feel like you're in a small trattoria in Italy – a warm ambiance, lovely decor, and a very friendly welcome. The menu is authentically Italian, with a great selection of pasta, pizza, meat, and fish dishes. I opted for the homemade tagliatelle with strips of beef fillet and truffle – an absolute dream! My companion's pizza was also crispy, generously topped, and wonderfully aromatic. A particularly positive aspect: You can tell that the ingredients used here are fresh. The service was attentive, polite, and yet pleasantly unobtrusive. Our special requests were fulfilled without any problems, and the staff always had a smile on their faces. The espresso at the end was also typically Italian – strong, hot, and perfect. The value for money is absolutely spot on here, and if you're looking for a special evening with good food and a truly Italian atmosphere, Milano is the place for you. I'll definitely be back!

This restaurant is located very close to Leipzig main train station. Therefore it probably lives from the arriving guests. Modern furnishings. Quite stylish too. Lots of seating outside too. The ambience is absolutely okay, the service is friendly and attentive. Everything clean and tidy inside and out. The food can be rated as normal. Nothing special, but quite okay. The recommended in-house lemonade is only mixed from bottles. The salad wasn't worth the price. The pizza wasn't any better either. Too bad...

Well located restaurant in a top location. Only the ambience, in my opinion, does not correspond to an Italian-run restaurant. A bit simple for my taste. Jazz as background music isn't quite as appropriate either, I think. But what's important: service and food were top. Absolutely worthy of an Italian 👍 keep it up.

Absolutely great shop. I was there at short notice and well after 9:15 p.m. and still got something to eat. The pizza was incredibly good, big enough and also absolutely great in terms of price. The ambience is very nice and there was nothing to complain about about the service. Despite my somewhat “relaxed” outfit, the waiter was very friendly and accommodating :) I can only recommend it.

I wasn't the only guest here. I'd like to give you readers an impression. I found it very convenient that you could reserve a table at short notice, especially for eight people. What bothered me most was the lack of space between the tables. We arrived from the convention (book fair) completely exhausted with our bags and unfortunately could barely get through. Second point We ordered a drink, and it didn't arrive until about 5-10 minutes after ordering. We ordered an appetizer with a casserole, which unfortunately arrived with all the rest (pizzas). I wasn't the only one who thought that was annoying. But after a few negative points, there's also something good. I really liked that the food came quickly, but at the same time, I found the prices far too high. Overall, I find the atmosphere very chilled/relaxed. I hope it was readable, if not, I apologize 🫠 Thanks anyway for the experience! Maybe something can be changed, even if a small comment doesn't make much difference. We had pizza and spaghetti carbonara. Unfortunately, in terms of taste, there's no reason to go again. Especially since the food is priced at the top end of the scale. The price-performance ratio is not right. We come from Munich and are therefore used to a lot in terms of prices. The ambience is more reminiscent of a hall with tables than of a restaurant. The service is average and not a recommendation. There are better restaurants in the surrounding area.

We were blinded by the very good rating. I'm sorry, but with the best will in the world I can't get more stars. Food mercilessly overpriced. Quality of the food, well. I had spaghetti that was nothing except spicy. Inattentive service. If the temperature is below zero, the entrance is simply left open. Bad luck for those sitting next to them.
