Super friendly service, delicious food. What more could you want? We had a family meal with 14 people. We'd love to come back.

Hello everyone! This is how warmly you're greeted at RESTAURANT ZORBAS 😁 I felt like I was in my host's living room. (The walls could use a nice fresco, but that doesn't detract from the cozy atmosphere.) The owner personally seats and serves the guests. Please make a reservation, even though you might get lucky and snag a table during the week. The food was very generous and delicious. The grilled meat wasn't overcooked like you often find in Greek restaurants. It tasted absolutely fantastic. Everyone was very friendly and, despite the restaurant being full, remained calm and relaxed. The menu offers something for everyone. The drinks menu is also impressive. Food and drink are a matter of personal taste. Come and see for yourself!

We spontaneously got a table for four without a reservation, even though it was Libori festival. The food was good and the service was attentive. We'll definitely come back again.

We called the day before to make a reservation. On the phone, we were told we could just drop by and there was a table available. No reservation was necessary. The next day, we arrived and there wasn't a single table free. The owner accused us of not having called and claimed the restaurant was booked solid every month in advance. I understand it's difficult to find a table on a Friday evening. But that's precisely why we called. If there were no tables available, they could have said so. We had eaten there before and were looking forward to coming back because the food was actually very tasty. But to be so rude and accuse us of calling the wrong restaurant is simply unfair to the customer. After this experience, we will definitely never be coming back.

The best Greek restaurant where I had the pleasure of arriving with a proper appetite: highly recommended!

A truly excellent restaurant. The service was very attentive and polite. Here, the customer is truly king. The food was plentiful and delicious. And all this at a great price. I would recommend making a reservation if you're dining with several people.

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I was absolutely thrilled! I got a table even though everything was reserved. It was really nice. The food was fresh, authentic, and prepared with lots of love – the bifteki with rice was a particular highlight, even though I actually wanted fries, but the fryer was unfortunately broken. The service was very attentive and warm; I immediately felt welcome. The ambiance is also cozy and typically Greek, with music – perfect for a lovely evening with family or friends. I will definitely be back and can highly recommend the restaurant! 🇬🇷🍽️

Excellent food, all prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The dishes are so filling that you almost can't finish them. And the service: very friendly, attentive, and prompt. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, and here, too, no expense has been spared, demonstrating taste. We're already looking forward to our next visit. Reservations are recommended.

Unfortunately, not a good choice if you expect a bit of service or that your requests will be honored (we clearly stated no onions). This was ignored three times (!), and for the main course, they only halfheartedly picked them out and brought out the same plate again. We couldn't order more drinks due to the lack of service, even though there were hardly any guests. The food itself was also just okay. Unfortunately, we can't recommend it (there were three of us there).

Almost perfect, empty glasses mean thirsty guests. And that kills any mood. Food very good, service friendly, parking limited.

Very tasty food. Unfortunately, I have to deduct one star because the portions are very small. I had the menu with two steaks and a gyro, and the gyro portion was really, really small.

A short trip to Paderborn, and Greek food was a must. At ZORBAs, you're greeted by incredibly friendly staff, the food comes quickly, the prices are fair, and the taste is excellent. The portions are more than generous. Highly recommended.

Even though it was a hectic day today, the staff was super friendly, the food was excellent, and everything was perfect. Hats off to them. It's a shame we don't live here...

The Tarama salad was just cold mashed potatoes with beetroot juice, without a trace of fish roe or fish flavor. Upon request, they tried to ask the kitchen about it, but nothing happened. Perhaps they think the guests have no idea about Greek cuisine anyway. What a pity.

Great food, great staff. On this day, it was completely booked since opening. Always happy to come back.

Friendly service and delicious dishes.

The Zorbas Restaurant is located near the cathedral and has a cozy beer garden, which is perfect even on days like today with 32°C. Friendly service and a typical menu with a wide selection. We had a starter of beans with feta cheese and a main course of bifteki and gyros. Everything was very fresh and delicious. The portions were generous, too. Good value for money.

The food was okay, but too salty. Drinks and side dishes/appetizers arrived late or were sometimes forgotten. Only after repeated requests did the food arrive in full. The billing was unclear. Items that weren't ordered were still charged, and when asked, the service staff reacted very aggressively.

We had a delicious meal here. Souvlaki and stuffed souvlaki skewers, and the salad that came first had a delicious dressing. It was a complete success, and the food arrived very quickly after ordering. Thank you.

Large, tasty portions, friendly service.

We were there with a group of 10 people. The reservation worked out perfectly, and a very nice table was prepared for us. The food was delicious and served by attentive staff. The ambiance is tasteful and inviting.

Mediocre food...significantly underseasoned. Unfortunately, I can't recommend the liver; it didn't taste fresh. We're giving it this rating because we've eaten Greek food many times.

Nice little restaurant, with a large selection of dishes. The portions are huge and you should be hungry or consider sharing a dish. The vegetarian plate is awesome 😃👍🏼

An absolutely successful visit to the Zorbas restaurant! The food was excellent - especially the lamb: buttery tender, perfectly seasoned and grilled to perfection. You can tell that high-quality, fresh ingredients are used here. The side dishes also tasted harmonious and rounded the whole thing off wonderfully. We sat on the terrace, which is not only cozy and lovingly designed, but also very clean and well-kept - just like the entire restaurant. The service was also attentive and friendly without being intrusive. A place where you feel completely comfortable. Absolute recommendation!

Very friendly service The food tastes good The prices are very good One star deduction, there was a small and a large dog around us. The little dog was shaking himself the whole time and the big dog was eating something the whole time. Animals don't belong in a restaurant.

A Greek straight out of a picture book. The tzatziki as a starter was slightly chilled and the quantity was incredible. Giros as the main course could have been a little crispier, but given the crowds, the grill probably can't keep up. In conclusion: a visit that is worth it!

Large portions, super tasty and quick too

The mixed starter platter was very small. The waiters rarely came to the table. I was thirsty for longer.

I recently went to this Greek restaurant in Paderborn for the first time and absolutely loved it. As soon as you enter, you immediately feel at home - the atmosphere is warm and cozy, with a typical Greek flair. The food was an absolute highlight! I had the grill plate with various meats, and everything was cooked perfectly. The meat was juicy and tender, and the sides – especially the fries and tzatziki – were simply delicious. My companion had the gyros plate, and it was also really good - nice and tasty and very authentic. The portions are also more than generous, so no one goes home hungry. I would particularly like to emphasize the friendly service. The staff was super attentive and looked after us well throughout the evening without being intrusive. At the end there was even an ouzo on the house – typical Greek hospitality! I can really recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for good, authentic Greek food in Paderborn or the surrounding area. I'll definitely be back!

Unfortunately quite disorganized. After 10 minutes of waiting, I was informed that there was no space left. Although many reserved tables were not used until over an hour later. When I was told that an hour was enough, nothing could be done. No problem, there are enough customer-oriented alternatives in the area.

Always happy, the food is always a pleasure. Good Greek cuisine and nice staff... what more could you want. And you can sit outside when the weather is good.

It was our first time at Zorbas. The service was friendly, but (not only for us - but also at the neighboring tables) very disorganized. Orders only came partially and were completely forgotten at the neighboring table. Unfortunately the food wasn't good. The meat and salad were tasteless and unfortunately the quality of the meat was also poor. We won't come here again.

We had a platter for two... It was served without any decoration! Just a heap of meat lying in a wild mess! The taste was just okay, but after all the eye eats too! A pity...

Good food, good service, little bit expensive.

I like Greek cuisine, which is known to be a little meat-heavy. The quality of the products is consistently good. The salad is fresh and the dressing is very interesting. The "tomatoy" rice would do with a touch more herbs, but that's a matter of taste. I would avoid side dishes such as fries and instead rely on the typical ones. Basically good restaurant. Keep it up.

Yes, if you don't mind accidentally stabbing the wrong plate with your fork, you could sit here. Although I do have a tip for the owner, remove all the tables and chairs. Let everyone eat from the ground, then you can receive even more people per evening. I can't comment on the food, we left before ordering. Another table, we had reserved in advance, was not attended to. I can recommend "El Rancho" 50 meters away.

I've been going there with family and friends for years and we've never been disappointed. The staff is the friendliest and most competent in all of Paderborn. Requests are taken into account The quality of the food is A1 Ambiance is great The location is central and there are many parking options nearby, such as the parking lot at Maspernplatz.

Delicious Greek, good selection of cold and warm meze/starters. Very large selection of main courses, which always makes me skeptical. But it tasted great and everything was fresh, decent portions - you should be hungry 😉

Unfriendly, arrogant reception, a mini table where we had no space with our dog. We went and ate and sat well with the competition.

Very meaty food. Vegetables and side dishes are virtually not served with the main dishes here. The positions are also very oversized.

Today the three of us were once again in the wonderful Zorbas Restaurant. Both the beef liver and the chicken breast fillet and the Aphrodite platter were simply outstanding. It is advisable to reserve a seat in advance. I can only recommend this restaurant! Unfortunately this time without photos.

Very tasty food, nice atmosphere and very friendly staff. The price-performance ratio is not perfect. Still only recommended! There is parking on the street, with plenty of seating both inside and outside. We were there at the end of the week and still got a table. So well suited for groups and families.

We went to the Zorbas restaurant in Paderborn yesterday without a reservation. It was already quite full, even though the restaurant had only been open for half an hour. We were immediately offered a table with the information that we would have to clear the table for new guests at 7 p.m. That wasn't a problem for us. The service was quick. There was a free ouzo at the beginning and the side salad was brought quickly after ordering. Our food was very tasty and the portion was completely appropriate. Thank you very much for the lovely stay.

Been here again with a larger group - everyone was very satisfied! Price/performance ratio is right, staff (noticeably a lot, even during the week, even in the kitchen) are nice and quick. Everyone’s food tasted perfect!

My number 1 when it comes to Greek cuisine for years. The service is great and accommodating. The food is fantastic every time. Overall a great place where we enjoy having dinner.

Einfach immer wieder schön dort zu essen. Super Atmosphäre und das Personal ist super freundlich.

Sehr lecker und die Portionen sind auch sehr gut. Bedienung sehr freundlich und das Ambiente im Innenraum ist auch gut. Also wer gerne griechische Küche mag ist hier gut aufgehoben.

Wir sind jedes Jahr mit unseren Jungs dort. Das Essen ist immer top. Die Bedienung ist schnell und sehr freundlich und kompetent. Ich bin sehr gern dort.

Service nett und freundlich. Ambiente ist auch schön. Wir saßen draußen, es war sehr voll. Leider werden Stühle und Tische nicht trocken gewischt, hatten danach alle nasse Kleidung. Essen war mittelmässig. Pommes sehr ölig, Ofenkartoffel hat gar nicht geschmeckt. Hähchenbrust war gut. Aufgrund einer Unverträglichkeit bat ich mir Fleisch ohne Kräuterbutter zu servieren, wurde leider vercheckt, konnte denoch sofort umgetauscht werden. An den Tischen haben Gewürze gefehlt. Wein konnte mir leider nicht empohlen werden, wenns um Unverträglichkeit geht, schade dabei würde ich mir gerne ein Glas bestellen. Im Salat hat man eine Olive mit Kern drinne, was beim Essen nicht angebracht ist. Toiletten sind sauber und gepflegt.

Wir hatten keine Reservierung, konnten aber dennoch bleiben, obwohl es echt voll war. Das Essen kann schnell und war einfach nur lecker und richtig viel! Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist wirklich perfekt!
