Very pleasant atmosphere. The waitress and host are super friendly and very attentive. We felt very comfortable :)

The food was delicious; we had pike-perch, roast mustard, Wiener schnitzel, and currywurst. The service was also friendly and attentive. We sat outside, but due to its proximity to the street, it can be a bit noisy from the traffic, which isn't a problem inside, of course. The only drawback that evening was that payment was only possible in cash, and no receipt could be issued due to technical problems.

Upon entering, you're warmly greeted by host Paul – he immediately creates a pleasant and personal atmosphere that makes you feel welcome. Anastasia's service was not only attentive and professional, but also charming and witty, adding a special lightness to the evening. At the bar, Dino conjured up great drinks, always with a smile and a relaxed, friendly manner that simply puts you in a good mood. The food was excellent, the drinks selection was coherent, and the entire team makes you feel at home. A restaurant where hospitality is truly lived. Highly recommended! The apple strudel was outstanding!

This is how it went: Caravan fair (by bike there and back)...hungry/craving some "creative pubs"...with class..."Zille" was on the way...quick consultation (gut feeling plays a key role here)...parked bikes...and sat outside...by now it was raining...(so we had an alibi secured)...Then it was quick: service/order (the menu is plentiful)/delivery (taking the cooking time of the food into account) and consumption... Conclusion: Everything highly recommended... Now back in the rain...with a belly full of good cheer...thanks

Something that stood out today was the polite service. The friendliness couldn't be surpassed. Our cocktails were served quickly and were truly fantastic. Compliments again to Dino. A beautiful shopfront that only gets more beautiful when you enter! Definitely recommended.

Honestly, this place is awful. I sat there for 15 minutes without anyone even showing up – it was like I was invisible. Friendliness? None. The waiters acted more like it was a punishment to have to work. My girlfriend was just as annoyed. We're not picky, but this was just disappointing. Shouldn't I have it again – and recommend it to others? Absolutely not.

I've been here a few times and have had nothing but positive experiences so far. The menu is quite varied. It's all the more surprising that the chefs have cooked every dish I've ordered perfectly. The prices are reasonable for the location.

Hello everyone, The pictures of the food all look really great and high-quality. Unfortunately, we weren't served... We sat outside for about 20 minutes, waiting for the waitress to at least ask us what we wanted to drink. Unfortunately, it was in vain. The waitress walked past our table at least 10 times, asked the neighboring tables if everything was okay, but unfortunately, she ignored us. That made us get up and find another restaurant, and unfortunately, we won't be coming back.

Paul and the entire team go above and beyond to offer guests a great stay. The price/performance ratio is also right. It's also worth mentioning that this is a very dog-friendly establishment. All in all, highly recommended. A huge thank you to you all.

Essen war Spitze, Service und Bedienung war unterirdisch und teilweise unverschämt. Zum Hauptgang ein neues Besteck zu bekommen war zuviel und ich würde ohne Besteck vor dem essen sitzen gelassen. Erst nach nochmaligem Fragen bei einem anderen Kellner, habe ich Besteck bekommen. Wir wurden nicht nach weiteren Getränken gefragt, Gläser und Teller wurden nicht abgeräumt. Schade, da das Essen sehr lecker war.

Why is a restaurant still allowed to open after the visit of the food inspectors and the blatant hygiene deficiencies discovered?

Eigentlich gefällt uns das Restaurant recht gut: Das Essen ist solide, es gibt einen ganz freundlichen Maitre, die Atmosphäre ist entspannt, es ist nicht überfüllt, aber … insgesamt ist der Service extrem unaufmerksam und sogar grob unhöflich. Als wir heute fast eine halbe Stunde versucht haben, auf uns aufmerksam zu machen, um zu zahlen und dann anscheinend zu vehement gewunken haben - aus purer Verzweiflung - wurden wir vom Kellner angemotzt, er hätte uns schon gesehen, wäre aber mit einer Rechnung beschäftigt gewesen. Aha. Hauptsächlich unterhält sich das Personal miteinander oder mit dem Handy, die Besucher scheinen vor allem zu stören. Das war leider eine sehr enttäuschende Erfahrung.

Unfortunately, the experience tonight was subterranean: The service only came after a long wave or a gesture to the counter, the fries weren't even cooked through and the highlight was that after a long wait for the bill (about half an hour) we went to the front ourselves and were yelled at for doing so. It's a shame - we had a lovely evening there but it was the last time for us.

We celebrated a wonderful birthday in the Zille and everything went perfectly. Our table was cozy and inviting, and impressively, all 13 dishes were served at the same time - fresh and warm. A special treat was the homemade ravioli, a true dream that I would come back for any time. The atmosphere exudes warmth and authenticity, but the absolute highlight was the outstanding service. A huge thank you to the lovely Anastasia, who made the evening even better! The experience was complemented by Dino’s exquisite, exotic cocktails. All in all it was an unforgettable evening!

The evenings in the Zille are always great! Really recommended! Really great for young people too :) We recommend the Aperol Sour, the Tequila Sunrise and the Espresso Martini 💞🏖️ Really great service!!!!!

Pleasant surprise. I stopped by because it caught my attention for having a certain level of simple elegance and an atmosphere lit mostly by candles. The food was excellent and abundant. Prices in the average. Excellent service.

We were there on a Saturday and wanted to have a cozy girls' evening. What can I say? Our expectations were more than met. The atmosphere is super cozy, the food is great and the employees are really attentive and accommodating. The cocktails were to die for. We've been to Zille several times now and the food has always been great. The warm cocktails are definitely the best I've ever had, feel free to ask the bartender about his signature drinks, you won't be disappointed. The waiters/waiters are super attentive and not intrusive. Gladly again ☺️

This time there were four of us in the Zille and we had reserved a table in advance. When we were shown to the table for 4, we saw that it had only been set for 3 people. Unfortunately, it stayed that way. Although it wasn't completely full, it was very loud in the front area. It felt like I was in a train station. The food was normally good, but I felt the price was a bit too high for the quantity and quality offered. But it was the young waiter who took the cake. We had noticed him negatively several times on previous visits. He obviously has a problem with women and immediately becomes very unfriendly when a woman politely points out something that could be improved in the service, like this time the missing place setting for the 4th person. He also had a problem dividing the bill correctly for two pairs. He miscalculated heavily, of course in his own favour. The same thing has already happened in our circle of acquaintances (unfriendliness towards women and incorrect calculations) and is known. It is advisable to always check and recalculate everything carefully when making the invoice; trust is clearly out of place here. Conclusion: We won't be going back here any time soon.

Food took over an hour to arrive for two people. The wait was definitely not worth the quality of food... we are speaking about burnt garlic in the pasta dish and a goose dish which tasted like it had been microwaved out of the freezer.

We had a wonderful evening with delicious food, pasta, salmon, tarte flambée. Finally, the most delicious non-alcoholic cocktails. Highly recommended! Come again.

The service was great. A subsequent change to the order was promptly implemented. Also kudos to the kitchen for acting so quickly when the restaurant was full. There was nothing wrong with the food, it was simply delicious and lived up to my expectations. I would definitely like to come back 👍

Been there again after a long time. Service quick and polite. Food good. Map “like before”. After the various experiences with the many management changes over the last few years and months, I'm still a bit skeptical - but I'll be back.

We had reserved a table for five people and it took more than half an hour for us to receive the drinks. The food only came about 1.5 hours later after repeated requests. There was no apology and there was even no food. The food was just average. Never go to this store again.

I'm a well-groomed person who doesn't smell of alcohol or anything like that, and despite asking nicely and being offered a fee to use the toilet, I was unfortunately not allowed to use the toilet. Since the employee seemed nice, I assume this is an owner who doesn't leave guests with bladder problems out in the cold - I certainly wouldn't want to eat there.

Service was good, unfortunately with a lot of food the time management didn't work so smoothly. Took a little longer. But it was very tasty!

We went to Zille for breakfast today and celebrated a birthday. Planned as a surprise for the birthday child, the team was excited for us and gave us great support. They recorded the encounter on video, played birthday music, and were super friendly. The breakfast was so cheap, good and filling that we were able to take our leftovers with us. We are thrilled. Very nice and courteous staff, especially the nice young lady, who always has a laugh for the guests :) The atmosphere is great, as is the food and drink. The cocktail is delicious and warmly and tasty prepared by the Greek tattooed bartender. His motto is definitely “only the best of the best for the guests”. There is no other way to explain the taste. Definitely recommended. Both thumbs up

Wir haben das Restaurant Zille eher zufällig ausgewählt. Bestellt haben wir ganz traditionell das Kalbsschnitzel und das Rumpsteak. Mein Rumpsteak war echt der Hammer! Perfekt gebraten, super Sauce, unglaubliche Bratkartoffeln und toll angerichtet. Zudem war es eine anständige Portion. Das Kalbsschnitzel war meiner Meinung nach zu wenig knusprig. Klar, da es jeweils dünne Kalbsstücke sind, kann man diese nicht trocken braten. Jedoch ein wenig knuspriger hätte es sein können. Diese Portion war im Vergleich zum Rumpsteak fast zu klein. Alles in allem jedoch, ganz abgesehen vom Kalbsschnitzel, super gekocht und angerichtet. Würde jederzeit wieder ins Zille essen gehen!

I went to see the Germany game in the restaurant on Friday. The store was well attended and the atmosphere was great. My husband had a great beer 🍺 and I had legendary cocktails with a friend. The Greek barman with lots of tattoos, who was great to talk to in English, had great ideas about what to drink. My girlfriend took 43 sour and I told the bar man to make me something with cucumber as a cocktail. This creation was super delicious and super refreshing!! We'll definitely be back.

Clean! Waiting a good 35 minutes for a bruschetta in an almost empty restaurant...that could be better.

This was by far the worst service we've had in a long time. An employee at the counter with a cell phone ticking away who doesn't even think it's necessary to look up when you ask him to finally be served (the shop was almost empty). Inattentive waiters who don't like it ("we don't like that here", I would have to hold back as a guest) when you make yourself known by clinking glasses after multiple waves and attempts to speak to them have been ignored. After part of a drink order was missing, there was a discussion about who said what instead of simply bringing the missing espressos. Service is something else. And the store was very sparsely visited. The espressos were on the house and people were noticeably more attentive as a result. Nevertheless, the evening there leaves a rather questionable impression.

On the day of the demonstration, Saturday, January 27, 2024, at around 3:30 p.m., the restaurant was full, but not overcrowded. Many guests were not served at all. There were simply not enough staff. We finally got our coffee at the counter and brought it to our table. Others left again... it's a shame... But the coffee was delicious and I like the ambience... please hire more staff then I'm sure 4-5 stars can be given. New status: May 24th Today the service staff was "more" on the ball and was very friendly. I can therefore raise stars for Serive. Keep it up...food follows... Greetings from the neighborhood.

We found the food very good, the service was very friendly, but a bit disorganized: we had to complain several times to get our order at all or in full, the free-range egg was served without a spoon, but otherwise it was a relaxed, nice breakfast with friends. We tried again on Saturday after 20 minutes after we got the card on May 1st, 2024, no one came to take the order and we then left the restaurant again.

On Monday evening I visited the restaurant with a friend. At first we just wanted to have a few drinks. We also visited the restaurant for the first time. Because of the wonderful atmosphere, we decided to eat something. I don't know what the chef cooked up. However, the combination was simply perfect. The nice bartender, who happens to be Greek, was incredibly friendly and looked after us and our drinks very well. And when I say he took care of us, what I mean is that because the menu has so many drinks, it's hard to make a decision - but this decision was made easier for us by the gentleman behind the bar. The service staff were also very friendly and accommodating. It was a very insignificant Monday evening, but in the end it was something very special. We also discovered that there is also a breakfast menu. We want to test this with our group of friends soon. I'm sure this will taste at least as good as dinner, if not better. So very positive feedback throughout and I’m looking forward to the next visits 😊

Nice ambience. Unfortunately, an extremely aggressive waiter who loudly gossiped about us when we asked for a plate that he had taken away. Whatever the reason..... The sumptuous breakfast that we had been looking forward to was made very difficult by his blasphemy, which continued....

Unfortunately, really poor performance for expensive money. Given the prices quoted for fairly simple dishes, everything has to be right. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. Location: Some places are pretty tight, the towel dispenser doesn't work in the toilets and there is only a roll of Zewa in front of the sink. Very dark and candles on the table are not lit. Service/Food: There is no uniform place setting, everyone has a different fork or knife. Plates partly with cracks and chips, sometimes white, sometimes colorful. Just looks super unprofessional. Ordering and preparation takes quite a long time, even though there are only 5 occupied tables. The service doesn't really listen, special requests are noted down but still forgotten. Food itself was okay but certainly not outstanding. All drinks were non-carbonated. The “green side dish” with the schnitzel consisted of half a tomato and a sprig of parsley…

Sehr enttäuschend leider! Meine Freundin hatte anlässlich Ihres Geburtstages 12 Mädels zum Brunch eingeladen. Nichts klappte, es war nichts vorbereitet, der Kellner wusste nicht einmal, dass um 10h 12 Leute zum Brunch kommen wollten, obwohl meine Freundin dies explizit genau mit Datum und Uhrzeit gebucht hatte und es angeblich im Buchungsbuch eingetragen worden war... Nach längerem Warten und etlichen unerfreulichen Telefonaten mit dem " chef"servierte man uns " labberige" Brötchen, Butter und Aufschnitt dazu bekamen wir ca 1/2 Stunde später. Alles sehr unerfreulich! Am Ende präsentiere man uns eine Rechnung, die nicht korrekt war, einige dinge( orangensaft) usw.waren zwar aufgeführt, aber wurden nie geliefert. Ausserdem war die Rechnung alles in allem recht hoch und nicht wirklich angemessen. Wir werden dieses Lokal nicht mehr aufsuchen. Absolut keine Empfehlung

It was our second choice because we were planning to go to the French restaurant next door, which was unfortunately completely booked. Zille is an alternative.

The food was great but the service was terrible. Had to wait forever before we could order. Then a meal was missing. When asked they said “coming soon”. Then, half an hour after everyone else had finished eating, the wrong dish was brought out. Then we had to wait another 30 minutes for the right food. In the end, instead of any form of apology, I was just asked how much I would like to tip... Unfortunately, very disappointing

Haven't eaten food here yet but their sort of Tea was fantastic with a very friendly Atmosphere.

Unfortunately, on Saturday lunchtime, the excessive demand became apparent in a well-filled Zille. Long wait for drinks and food, unfortunately the beer wasn't well tapped (the foam was completely missing) and the tarte flambée was almost cold. This works better and is otherwise what you are used to with the Zille. The bruschetta was flawless, there's nothing wrong with it. In terms of price, everything is okay and within the framework. Unfortunately, service was very slow and less friendly. But with a few optimizations this can certainly be managed.

Nachdem der letzte Geschäftsführer, der es im Handumdrehen schaffte, etliche Stammgäste zu vergraulen, nicht mehr in der Zille tätig ist, kann ich endlich wieder regelmäßig meine Anlaufstelle in der Nachbarschaft frequentieren. Die stets zugewandte, herzliche Belegschaft versorgt den Kunden ganz nach seinem Gusto mit leckeren Speisen und schönen Weinen. Bis bald in der Zille!

I have my home address back! Since the last managing director, who misunderstood the Zille as a stage for his inflated ego, is no longer present, I can stop by regularly again after a long absence!

Alle sechs Essen sahen sehr gut aus und schmeckten auch hervorragend. Der Service war zuvorkommend, man hat ausreichend Platz zum Sitzen. So wie es sein sollte - war nicht der letzte Besuch in der Zille. Jederzeit gerne wieder

Die Zille ist ein gemütliches Restaurant an zentrale Ort in Oberkassel. Ein einladentes Ambiente, freundlicher Service und ein gutes Preis - Leistung Verhältnis zeichnet dieses Lokal aus! Ein wenig mehr Abwechslung in der Speisekarte ( auch für den Abend) würde den Besuch noch abrunden 👍 grundsätzlich aber immer einen Besuch wert 😊

Wir haben letzte Woche für eine größere Gruppe (90 Personen) reserviert und alles ist ganz wunderbar gelaufen. Die Absprache per Telefon war unkompliziert und professionell. Unser Buffet war schön angerichtet und alle Gerichte haben uns hervorragend geschmeckt. Der Service war sehr freundlich und schnell, man musste nie lange mit einem leeren Glas am Tisch sitzen. Das Restaurant ist wirklich gemütlich und alle haben sich sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir danken euch für diesen wunderbaren Abend!

Leider nichts Neues: Ein unmotivierter Barmann betritt das Lokal wortlos und ohne Gruß, das Lokal ist fast leer, es wirkt trostlos: Keine Atmosphäre, die zu einem weiteren Besuch animiert. Es ist so schade. Update Juli 2023: Offenbar haben sich die Besitz-Verhältnisse geändert. Petros, der vorherige Geschäftsführer, ist nicht mehr da, und Mike, der Barmann, auch nicht mehr. Leider hat sich die Situation in den letzten 2 bis 4 Wochen nicht zum Vorteil entwickelt. Ich empfinde das Personal als eher unmotiviert. Dazu schlimme Musik, die belegt, dass es überhaupt kein Konzept gibt. Ist die Zille jetzt ein Hardrockcafe? Ist es eine Bar? Oder doch ein Restaurant? Der Barmann spricht kaum Deutsch, es fühlt sich alles nach Abfertigung an. Wenig Herzlichkeit, keine Willkommenskultur im Sinne von „Schön, dass Du da bist. Was können wir für Dich tun? Wie können wir Dir einen guten Aufenthalt bereiten?“ Unter Petros und Mike war das noch so. In dem status quo jedenfalls hat die Zille keine Seele mehr, und in meinen Augen auch keine Zukunft. Schade drum. —— Seit Jahren mein Zufluchtsort in Oberkassel, wenn ich eine Kneipe suche. Seit Mike an der Theke istu, fühle ich mich wieder zu Hause. Er löst perfekt Pasquale ab, der schon früher tagsüber den perfekten Barmann abgegeben hat. Mike ist freundlich, empathisch, herzlich, gewinnend, einfach der typische Barmann. Ich empfehle Starnberger Hell, Rinderschinken mit griechischen Olivenöl und italienische Hintergrundmusik. Passt! Danke Mike und an das ganze Zille-Team für Euren TOP-Service.

Super Frühstück 🍳 super Service. Wir kommen gerne wieder

Wieder toll! Nachdem einige Zeit doch ein sehr merkwürdiges Klima herrschte( um es vorsichtig auszudrücken), ist es nun wieder wirklich schön. Tolle Atmosphäre, nette Kellner und sehr gutes Essen. Ein guter Mix für jeden. Im Hintergrund leise angenehme Musik und die Kellnerin fröhlich und angenehm. Wir werden bald auch das angepriesene Frühstück probieren- gerne wieder!!!

Wir waren am Samstag nach einigen Monaten wieder in der Zille und haben uns gefreut, dass es eine neue Serviceleitung gibt und die bisherige Geschäftsleitung abgegeben wurde. Nun fühlen wir uns wieder wohl und kommen gerne wieder. Billie ist einfach super nett und geht auf die Gäste ein. Durch seine Art fühlt man sich sehr willkommen. Das Ambiente hat uns schon immer gefallen und die Lage ist top.

Der Pulpo war perfekt, die Bedienung unglaublich aufmerksam und freundlich! Liebe Grüße an Billy, wir kommen bald sehr gerne wieder! 😉

Essen gut, preislich meiner Meinung nach jedoch zu hoch angesetzt. Service ist super! Kartenzahlung möglich.

Update Juli 2023: Offenbar haben sich die Besitz-Verhältnisse geändert. Petros, der vorherige Geschäftsführer, ist nicht mehr da, und Mike, der Barmann, auch nicht mehr. Leider hat sich die Situation in den letzten 2 bis 4 Wochen nicht zum Vorteil entwickelt. Ich empfinde das Personal als unmotiviert. Dazu schlimme Musik, die belegt, dass es überhaupt kein Konzept gibt. Ist die Zille jetzt ein Hardrockcafe? Ist es eine Bar? Oder doch ein Restaurant? Der Barmann spricht kaum Deutsch, es fühlt sich alles nach Abfertigung an. Wenig Herzlichkeit, keine Willkommens-Kultur im Sinne von „Schön, dass Du da bist. Was können wir für Dich tun? Wie können wir Dir einen guten Aufenthalt bereiten?“ Unter Petros und Mike war das noch so.  Ist dem status quo jedenfalls hat die Zille keine Seele mehr, und in meinen Augen auch keine Zukunft. Schade drum.
