This is modern Greek cuisine, without any frills, without the smell of garlic in the air, and without the usual gimmicks and bells and whistles that are usually presented to you. Absolutely fantastic!

Well, that wasn't anything. We visited this restaurant today. Our order was taken promptly, and the food arrived in a flash. Bottom line: The gyro was lukewarm and absolutely not the quality I expected. The leg of lamb...cold and tasteless. And it was overpriced, too. Sorry, we were unlucky 😞

A decent Greek restaurant, but unfortunately, the service wasn't so good. We were there on a weekday, and the restaurant wasn't very busy. Despite repeated requests, we had to wait almost 90 minutes for the main course to be served. The quality of the dishes was good, but there was nothing special about them. I'm left with very mixed feelings.

We came here spontaneously yesterday and got a seat right away. The food was really delicious. The service was also great. Our only suggestion for improvement would be to add a few kids' dishes to the menu. If we're ever in the area again, we'd love to come back.

Really good food wine and Service

The food was extremely salty and felt heavy on both our stomachs. The service was good, but given the extensive selection in the neighborhood, I'd recommend something else that's more in keeping with Kreuzberg (the atmosphere is also more like a small West German town).

There were four of us at dinner. Everything was absolutely delicious, and the portions were generous. My only complaint is that none of the Greek dishes came with tzatziki. In other Greek restaurants, this is standard fare. We had to pay extra for it, which cost €7.00 for two portions. That's not good customer service. We ended up with a bill for about €150.

Conditionally recommended. The food itself was good, but the wait was extremely long and the service regarding drinks was relatively inattentive. Update 02/07: I'd like to address the answer below, as it's relatively simple: 1. While we were still waiting for our appetizer, other guests who arrived after us had already received their food. And we hadn't ordered anything complicated or elaborate. 2. Despite quickly finishing my drink (it was quite warm on the weekend), I wasn't asked once if I wanted another drink. And we were in your restaurant for a good 1.5 hours. 3. We had very different dishes, but all the "mousaka" we ordered weren't completely eaten, so you have to ask. Whether this was due to the quality is debatable. 4. You're absolutely right about the latter; there is a connection; I don't just visit upscale restaurants, but also treat myself to quick fast food every now and then, and then rate it based on my own experience. We visited the restaurant because of the good reviews... I don't want to say we were disappointed, but the food was rather poorly presented. It was tasty, but I wouldn't say it's the best Greek restaurant in Berlin.

Chance led us there and we are very grateful to chance! Mega delicious food. We had lamb with baked potatoes, cooked to perfection, portions large enough. And the taste is A1! Very friendly and fast staff. We'll be back!

Very cozy Greek restaurant. The menu offers a very good selection of Greek starters and main courses. Very good quality at fair prices. The service is very friendly and quick even when it's busy. Pleasant alternative just 2 streets from the hectic Bergmannstrasse. Highly recommended - better reserve.

Baby calamari was limp - they were grilled upon request. Service was borderline poor, 0.1 l of wine was poured sloppily in the follow-up order - our comment was fed back with the answer that we could also order 0.2 l... Unfortunately no recommendation!

We had dinner last night with 3 people. The atmosphere is stylish, the service is very attentive and friendly. Only the food was only lukewarm for my husband and I. I had bifteki, with a vegetable that was still raw, the carrots were not cooked and the potato side dish was cold. Unfortunately, I didn't like the food without describing in more detail what happened to me. It would really be appropriate to cook the food thoroughly and serve it warm. It's a shame about this actually lovely evening, the friendly staff in the beautiful Kreuzberg atmosphere.

I was whisked away to a large and extremely warm Greek restaurant where I was treated to delicious food. There are shielded areas in the restaurant, which means it doesn't seem crowded when the restaurant is full.

We were there for the first time yesterday and I have to say we weren't disappointed. The waiter took care of us straight away, recommended the daily report and, if requested, would have explained the wines to us, but we had already chosen some. The food was really delicious and well seasoned, it really tasted good here. The prices are a bit in the upper price segment, but the quality is good. We'd love to come back.

Super tasty food and the service was very friendly. We were served quickly and very attentively and everyone was super friendly! We had a variety of starters and main courses and everything was excellent. The whole atmosphere was also pleasant and inviting, plus there are relaxed seats outside the restaurant. Recommendation!

Very good food, traditional and with good service. Nice decoration and a small but interesting list of Greek wines. The starters are tasty but could be a bit more original and better presented as Z is perhaps the best Greek restaurant in Berlin. Clear recommendation.

A stable number for many years when it comes to fine Greek cuisine. Standards such as gyros or souvlaki are served with organic meat. Good selection of typical starters cold and warm, especially the Saganaki cheese is super tasty. There are also daily specials offered by the service depending on the season. Very good wine list and even the simple Retsina is easy to drink. In summer you can also sit outside in the old Chamissokiez. A big compliment to the service: attentive, quick and relaxed at the same time! A raki or ouzo on the house as a farewell - Greek hospitality in Berlin 🍀🇬🇷
