Good German cuisine with a cozy atmosphere. In summer you can sit outside. A very good price performance.

We were there on Oct. 9, 24 with 12 people. The restaurant was very busy. Please reserve. Friendly service and ambience - everything satisfactory. The food came quickly and "closed" so that everyone could start at the same time! The wine list can still be expanded with more select wines (instead of just Gengenbacher :-() Price-wise: not necessarily for those on a tight budget Everyone was very happy with it - from steak to Asian. I'd love to come back.

Nice, quiet restaurant, with a large outdoor terrace, large children's playground and great views of nature. Directly on a park with a large pond and animals. Suitable for strolling.

Super nice restaurant with capable hosts. Were there on Saturday evening with 8 people. Staff was friendly and quick. Food also came to the table quickly and of very good quality. The prices are fair. We'd love to come back.

The waitress doesn't see you sitting at the table, even though she was around us several times at the other tables. Very arrogant. Not my recommendation.

Very nice little coffee/restaurant which is right on the lake. With a small mini golf course, the restaurant at Waldsee is perfect for a cozy family afternoon.

Restaurant with a large outdoor area on the edge of a lake. There is a good selection of food and drinks at reasonable prices. Parking spaces are available directly at the restaurant. Ideal for a day trip by bike.

The food is nice and the staff are friendly.

Completely overwhelmed – price-performance = flop We spontaneously decided to visit this restaurant on a forest lake and were looking forward to a nice evening. Unfortunately we were completely disappointed. Despite free tables inside and outside, we were turned away at 7 p.m. on the grounds that we were "done for the day." However, other guests who arrived at the same time were allowed to sit down without any problem. It was probably a mistake to politely ask where you could sit down. When we politely asked why we couldn't get a seat while other guests were allowed to stay, we were simply told that they couldn't offer us anything more. This clearance was simply incredible. Particularly irritating: On the homepage it says that the kitchen is open until 8 p.m. and the restaurant itself is open until 9 p.m. The service staff was extremely unfriendly - true to the motto: "We are a tourist restaurant and don't need to be friendly. It's full anyway, so a few guests more or less doesn't matter." Nothing like this has ever happened to me. We often and happily support the catering industry, but we definitely won't be coming here again.

We were offered a table, 5 minutes later our choice was noted down and 20 minutes later we were already eating. All tasty and fresh and the service was cordial. Only point of criticism; the lack of some lettuce with steak or schnitzel. You have to make do with 1 slice of tomato. But maybe this is typically German...

Nice location, good service and good food. A star deduction for the fairly manageable menu and for the pricing.

A very nicely located restaurant with friendly service and delicious food. We were here again for lunch today on July 24th, 2024 and I can only repeat my positive review. Greetings from Saxony-Anhalt.

Everything was great, first a round of mini golf and then delicious food 👍🏻👍🏻😁 we'll be back!

It's all very new and high quality. The staff is also very attentive. The food is really good but not for those on a budget. There is a small playground 10 meters from the restaurant terrace as well as a small mini golf course. After your meal, you can take a short walk around the forest lake, which is not a stone's throw away from the restaurant terrace. In general it's a nice place to switch off for a few hours. There is also a free parking space 30 meters in front of the restaurant.

Always good food for a good price!

We zijn hier geweest tijdens een rustdag. De eigenaar was er toevallig en gaf ons toch een drankje, de kids zelfs een gratis ijsje! Vandaag terug gegaan voor diner. Het eten was heerlijk. Goede kwaliteit, veel vers en huisgemaakt. Grote porties en veel variatie in de kaart. Het was er ook druk, veel locals. Snel en kundig bediend en ook het eten kwam vlot. Wij hebben buiten gezeten op het terras. Prachtig gelegen met een speeltuin. Hier komen we zeker nog eens terug!

Home-style cooking, supplemented with vegetarian and non-local dishes, that fits, fairly priced, good portions.

The food was good, but we didn't like it that much. Far too modern and a bit lacking in spirit when it comes to the ambience. The much praised playground is quite small...

After a short hike on the forest nature trail, we finally stopped off. Full restaurant and terrace, good food, delicious rosé and extremely friendly staff in a good mood despite many guests and definitely a lot of work. We'd love to come back when the opportunity arises

Beautiful place for families, hikers and day trippers. Food is good and not too expensive, a nice terrace and a small lake complete the leisure activities. The panoramic path is also on the way.

Es gibt rein garnichts auszusetzen. Wir waren nun nach 2 Jahren noch mal dort und es war wieder hervorragend. Wir waren mit 2 Kindern und einem Baby dort, und man hatte einen Herzlichen Eindruck. Der freundliche Service mit dem tollen Essen und diesem Ambiente ist einfach super. Ein Lob am das Ganze Team.

Es ist herrlich endlich wieder draußen zu essen. Der Wein war gut. Das Essen lecker. Das Personal freundlich. Schöne Lage des Lokals.

Die Speisekarte ist übersichtlich und vielfältig gestaltet. Speisen werden exzellente zubereitet und auf dem Teller angerichtet. Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam.

Wunderbar an einem kleinen Weiher gelegen

Das Ambiente ist sehr schön und ruhig. Das Personal ist freundlich und offen. Auf der Speisekarte gibt es vegetarische Gerichte und auf Anfrage können sie verschiedene Gerichte auch in vegan kochen (im Bild zu erkennen). Das Essen ist sehr lecker und die Portionen perfekt.

We have just had a wonderful evening at the restaurant. The food was superb. The host and his staff were fantastic and incredibly friendly. Despite our limited German the staff helped us order a beautiful meal for my wife who is allergic to dairy produce, the waiting staff couldn’t have been more helpful. My mushroom tagliatelle was honestly the best I’ve ever had. The steaks were beautifully cooked, a medium was just perfect. Thank you for a lovely evening it couldn’t have been better.

Wunderschön gelegen ... von dort kann man einen schönen Rundweg zum Urenkopfturm laufen. Essen wie auch das Personal super. Schöne Auswahl an Kuchen gibt es auch. Also einen Besuch wert.

Ein schöner Flecken Erde…..am See gelegen, mit tollem Ausblick Aber mehr positives können wir leider nicht schreiben. Ok, die Bedienung war nett…aber das sollte man erwarten dürfen. Wir haben schon besser gegessen; ( s. weitere Bewertungen) .

Wir waren mit einer Gruppe von 8 Personen zum Mittagstisch eingekehrt. Mehrere hatten sich für die asiatischen Speisen entschieden, die Anderen für unterschiedliche Gerichte. Alle waren von der Qualität und Zubereitung der Speisen sehr zufrieden. Der Service war sehr zuvorkommend und kompetent. Gerne kommen wir wieder.

Heel lekker! Wij hadden de vis en lam genomen met rosemareinaardappelen. Er waren veel groentjes bij, echt een aanrander!
