Great atmosphere, everything coordinated with each other, with a knack for details. Guarantee for a relaxing evening. Great and, above all, manageable menu combined with high-quality cuisine. Price-performance is top. Staff attentive and friendly. By far the best restaurant on our island visit.

Wir hatten einen tollen Abend in einem schönen Ambiente. Die Karte ist übersichtlich aber dafür frisch zubereitet und qualitativ hochwertig. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Preislich im oberen Bereich aber der Qualität angemessen

We stayed here twice during our vacation. The first time, the food was really good, apart from the fact that the curry didn't even make a child's portion. In addition, the waiting time was very long. But okay, let's give the place another chance, we thought. Although we had made a reservation, we still had to wait 10 minutes until we were brought to our table. There were still remains of the previous ones lying on it, which were then quickly put away and were not wiped off. There were perhaps 10-15 people in the restaurant at the time. We then waited another 10 minutes for the menu, another 10 minutes until our drinks order was taken, which actually came at some point. We had probably been in the restaurant for 30 minutes at this point, but then we finally at least had our drinks. When it came time to order our food, we were succinctly informed that there was no salad left. Not even as a side dish. Given that three of us actually ordered a salad, we should have left by then. The map is quite small. But okay, we just ordered something else. The pork fillet was too dry, the coleslaw lacked flavor, and the tomato soup was oversalted. Since the waiter didn't come to the table to take any more drink orders, I went to the counter myself and wanted a wine. I was rushed and sent away because he had to finish the other drinks first. As mentioned, the restaurant was sparsely occupied. Conclusion: unfortunately very inattentive and unfriendly service, the food was completely overpriced, endless waiting times. As so often on Wangerooge, it's a shame. To save my honor, I have to mention that the burger, spare ribs and rump steak were really good on the first visit. But honestly, a steak for €25.90, plus the side dishes of at least €6 plus the sauces, also a minimum of €3, is steep even by island standards.

Our expectations of the restaurant and the food were more than met. The steak was perfectly cooked and the side salad was delicious. All dishes were lovingly and attractively prepared, and the service left nothing to be desired. We particularly liked the chicken nuggets for our daughter. These were not frozen goods like in other restaurants but rather breaded pieces of chicken fillet that were freshly prepared. The dessert is particularly recommended for those who are undecided, it is simply delicious.

The boat is one of the best restaurants I've ever been able to visit, the atmosphere is very nice, the taste of the food can't be beat and the meat was cooked to perfection on every visit. We recommend!

First of all: if the food is good, it can cost the famous euro more. The quality is good, the prices are in the higher segment, but it is completely legitimate. But what is not possible with such high standards is a lack of service! We were there with 2 children and 2 adults, I would say it was normally attended. There were even tables still free. We each had 1 drink! The waiter didn't even come to our table and asked if we wanted more drinks or even dessert. Unfortunately we didn't feel welcome/comfortable. A larger company, on the other hand, was always served in a friendly manner and repeatedly (the waiter was probably known personally). We would have liked to order dessert or something similar, but we even had to run after the bill so as not to be left stranded there any longer. It's a shame, we were unprepared and full of anticipation.

Supposedly has “cult status” but to be honest you can’t say that at all. Food was okay but not great except for the very reasonable prices. The place is very nicely decorated but that's the only highlight... The cellar didn't make the best or friendliest impression either. Serving guests with chewing mouth movements doesn't have to be the case... it also creates an unkempt visual impression. In a word, there is still room for improvement. At least that's how we felt when we visited...we wouldn't go there again.

We go to Wangerooge every year, sometimes several times. We were thrilled with this restaurant last year! This time too, the food was a delight! Innovative ideas deliciously implemented. My husband had baked feta and I had falafel with a fresh and versatile salad... Suuuuuuper delicious! Simply something very special! There was also an elderflower lemonade! As I write this my mouth is watering!!! Highly recommended!!! However, if you prefer fast food, you probably won't find it here... But if you want to eat really high quality and delicious food, this is the place for you. The employee was also very friendly and our little dog was also welcome...🐶

We ate on the boat twice and, as always, it was very nice. The service was very courteous and really nice. As always, the ambience was well maintained and furnished with great attention to detail. I generally find the decoration in “Our Boat” very beautiful and stylish. The highlight was of course the food. Everything was very tasty and super fresh. The rump steak was on point and the chicken was also super tender and, above all, really juicy. The plates were prepared with a lot of love. Here you can just tell that the people put their heart and soul into it. Really great. All in all, two successful evenings for us and definitely highlights of our holiday.

Very nice restaurant. As a starter there was a bloody mary soup with vodka very lecher. The main course is beef fillet with herb butter fried potatoes and cucumber salad For dessert, a desert variation for those who are undecided Everything was very good and the service was also very good

Our boat is THE restaurant with an excellent range of food and drinks on Wangerooge. Certainly not a bargain in terms of price, but that's not a criterion for this upscale restaurant. All 3 dishes and the accompanying drinks were worth every euro. The service is friendly, competent and doesn't let itself be disturbed by extremely cheeky and critical guests. Thank you for the wonderful hours on the occasion of our wedding dinner.

Upscale restaurant with a maritime ambience and an appealing food and drink menu. The dishes are particularly characterized by the quality of the products used and the presentation on the plates. The service staff are friendly, competent and helpful. A reservation makes sense.

2023 on October 4th We had our first meal there, it was so good that we went back for my birthday. In our opinion it is the TOP restaurant on Wooge.

In the boat you feel comfortable in the guest room. We were very surprised that there is no other fish available on a North Sea island apart from squid. But we were annoyed when the service offered a fish dish at the neighboring table. It was not possible to change the order 5 minutes after placing the order. The burger is not worth its price. We then planned to make another reservation and crossed the restaurant off our favorites list.

It doesn't get any better. Always a highlight on vacation. Great . Mike and Antje keep it up. We love to come.

As every time we are on Wangerooge, dinner in the restaurant “our boat” is simply a must. A reservation is recommended, but this can be done very conveniently and clearly via the online portal. We were once again impressed by the quality of the food; the preparation and taste left nothing to be desired. Even if we spent around €100 for 2 main courses (rump steak and Iberico pork carton), 3 side dishes and drinks, that won't stop us from eating here again. It's just something special, for us the price-performance ratio is right PS... The answer followed an earlier review (3 stars, not 0), where I complained that the restaurant was closed without this being announced on the website or in a notice (or I missed it).

The best restaurant on Wangerooge! We have been coming to Wangerooge for almost two decades and the restaurant “Our Boat” has been simply very, very good since it was founded. Fish, seafood and meat dishes are excellent. The vegetarian dishes are also excellent. The dessert for those who are undecided is absolutely amazing!!! The service is super nice and very competent and friendly. We always enjoy coming here.

The ambience is perfect. The service okay. Unfortunately, a lot of things were no longer available the day after the opening. And the choice of food isn't much. The carpaccio was great, the steaks were mediocre. It's a shame, it used to be better. Because if I spend more than 100€ for 2 people - just a glass of wine and a beer with dinner - I expect something better.

Wow, what a great restaurant! The atmosphere is great, very authentic, fresh flowers on every table, great decoration, with a special eye for detail. Table reservation via the internet worked really well in advance, taking two dogs with us wasn't an issue (there's even an extra dog menu, which our two furry friends found excellent 🤩). The selection on the menu is small and not cheap at first, but what was then served is an absolute culinary delight! We have never eaten such a fantastic steak in terms of quality and preparation (the pepper sauce is particularly worth mentioning) and the choice of side salad (with mango, melon, roasted cashews, lettuce, flowers, etc.) and a perfectly seasoned dressing - without words. ...worth every cent!!! Even the chicken nuggets were freshly prepared, crispy and super juicy pieces of fillet. This had nothing to do with what is happening everywhere else. If we come to Wangerooge again, the table will definitely be ordered in good time. Our heartfelt thanks to the whole team for this lovely evening and this culinary experience 🌻!

We were in our boat for the first time today. The waiters and the chef (?) were very friendly and accommodating, but at the same time not intrusive. The octopus was really delicious. Same with the salad with the falafel. The ingredients are fresh and a lot is homemade. Definitely worth the slightly higher price.

Wir waren mit drei Personen zweimal im Restaurant und habe die Karte durchprobiert. Einfach klasse - lecker und mit Pfiff zubereitet. Sowohl Fleisch- als auch die Fischgerichte top. Zudem leckeres, selbst gebrautes Bier und tolles Dessert. Zurecht das mit Abstand beste Restaurant auf der Insel. Kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

It's always nice when you come back with the expectations of the previous visit and they are largely met. A minor defect was responded to very professionally and immediately by the kitchen. The food was excellent again, we would love to come back.

After the performance of “My Local, Your Local” we had really high expectations. The two of us were in the “Our Boat” restaurant on a Saturday at 6:00 p.m. The first impression was of a cozy atmosphere, fresh flowers at the table, everything was wonderful. The dining room was clean and the table was well set. You can relate to the theme of the restaurant; Maybe a little too much in one place or another, such as the table decoration elements. After looking at the menu we knew what was in store for us. The service was courteous, but the waiting time for the two house beers was too long for the volume of guests in the off-season. Coziness is all well and good - two beers at what feels like five tables are actually tapped straight away. The wait for the food was okay. The food per sé tasted good - good meat quality and to the point. Only the mashed potatoes were unworthy of the price-performance ratio compared to the side salad (€6.90 mashed potatoes to €8.90 side salad). The mashed potatoes had to be seasoned a lot, otherwise the portions were ok. We skipped dessert and an appetizer. The pricing - we were aware that VAT in the catering industry would be raised at the beginning of 2024 - is at the upper end of what I am willing to pay for the quality in the overall assessment. Of course the prices are higher on an island, but I would have expected a little more. In conclusion, I went into the restaurant full of expectations and was disappointed almost across the board - and it was €100 lighter.

Like last year, perfect food and perfect service!!! It couldn't be better 😋. Starters, main courses, drinks… just good. We will be back !

Very cozy, friendly staff, varied cuisine

Unser Boot ist eindeutig das beste Restaurant auf der Insel. Wir waren schon mehrfach dort und wurden nie enttäuscht. Tolles Ambiente, sehr guter Service und eine Spitzenqualität aus der Küche. Immer gerne wieder. Diese Qualität hat natürlich Ihren Preis ist aber jeden Cent wert. Einen Tipp noch an den Inhaber: Am Tag an dem wir da waren wurden Gäste weggeschickt, obwohl noch Tische frei waren (um die Küche nicht zu überlasten). Ich würde den Gästen anbieten, dass Sie mit einer Wartezeit trotzdem Platz nehmen können. Ich würde es für diese Qualität auch in Kauf nehmen 45min. bei einem (oder zwei) Aperitiv zu warten.

Waren zum dritten Mal da, einfach Klasse. Man fühlt sich rundum wohl. Essen ist nicht 08/15. Immer was besonderes.

Freundlicher Empfang, abwechslungsreiche Karte mit dem gewissen „Etwas“, Interieur absolut schön und besonnen durchgestylt, Preise etwas gehoben, das geht aber für die Qualität in Ordnung. Als ich sah, dass der Chef die Espressotassen mit heißem Wasser vorwärmt, „hatte“ er mich: Da versteht einer sein Handwerk. Kleiner Tipp: Cappuccinotassen nicht kopfüber auf Maschine stellen, weil die Tasse vom Boden aus besser gewärmt wird, die Stelle, wo die Lippe ansetzt, nicht zu heiß ist und das Argument „Staub“ zählt nicht bei einem Restaurant mit solch gutem Durchlauf, zumal man ein weisses Baumwolltuch darüber legen darf. Glückwunsch zu diesem tollem Restaurant.

Was soll ich sagen ausser alles ist rundum perfekt!! Ich wünschte ich könnte 10 Sterne geben!!

Sicherlich das einzige Restaurant Wangerooges mit einer höherwertigen Küche. Hier stimmt alles: Speisen ideenvoll und auf den Punkt zubereitet, Service topp, Preis- Leistungsverhältnis okay. Lediglich die etwas zu laute Beschallung mit Oldiemusik passte nicht unbedingt zum Ambiente.

Wir haben an unserem Hochzeitstag ein Candle Light Dinner im Boot bekommen und es war ein toller Abend. Das Menü war Klasse, vom Geschmack und der schönen Tellersprache, einfach toll! Einfach perfekt,wir hatten einen Tag vorher reserviert und wurden sehr freundlich empfangen, cooles aber gemütliches Ambiente mit tollem Service und das Essen (Steaks) ein Träumchen, ein großes Lob an die Küchencrew, hier weiß man mit exzellenter Ware eine Wohltat für den Gaumen zu zaubern ,im "Unser Boot" versteht man sein Handwerk ....daher eine klare Empfehlung ...wir kommen gerne wieder.

Gehobene Küche, sehr sehr lecker und alle sehr freundlich. Kommen immer wieder gerne zu besonderen Anlässen hierher. Tischreservierung muss oft seeeehr zeitig erfolgen. Selbst über 3 Monate im Voraus gabs für Oktober nur sehr früh (17:40 Uhr) oder spät (ab 20 Uhr) online noch Tische...

Es war alles sehr lecker, frisch und nicht gewöhnlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder! Auch das Dogs Menü unterm Tisch ist nachahmenswert! Wir kommen gerne wieder! Bis zum nächsten Mal!

Wir haben anlässlich des Geburtstags meines Mannes einen sehr schönen Abend in diesem tollen Restaurant verbracht. Der Service ist überaus freundlich und sehr hunde- & kinderlieb. Es gibt sogar ein kleines "Menü" für die Vierbeiner auf der Karte. Das Essen war qualitativ hochwertig und die Vorspeise sowie der Hauptgang ein Genuss. Auch die Nachspeisen an den Nachbartischen sahen toll aus, wir waren nur leider schon satt. Das Restaurant ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet, alle Dekoelemente sind Inseloriginale und man sitzt sehr gemütlich. Wir werden gerne wiederkommen!

Das Restaurant „Unser Boot“ bietet div. Speisen an - ist aber offensichtlich auf Fleisch spezialisiert. Meine Frau hatte sich ein weisses Curry bestellt und ich hab das argentinische Rumpstek mit div. Beilagen gegessen. Der Gargrad des Steaks war perfekt und das Beilagen-Grillgemüse auf den Punkt mit leichten Röstaromen und dabei noch leicht al dente - sehr gut. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und jederzeit ansprech- und verfügbar. Das Ambiente ist gemütlich / urig-rustikal und hat seinen ganz eigenen Charme. Zudem kann man dort den hauseigenen Steakpfeffer kaufen - für Steakfans eine Empfehlung und zudem ein schönes Mitbringsel. Volle Empfehlung von uns für einen gelungenen Abend.

Tolles Restaurant. Sehr schönes Ambiente. Das Essen sah sehr ansprechend aus und schmeckte vorzüglich. Waren im Vorfeld unserer Reise über soziale Medien auf das Restaurant aufmerksam geworden und hatten schon vor Antritt unserer Reise online einen Tisch reserviert. Buchung funktionierte einwandfrei. Service und Gesamteindruck topp und sehr zu empfehlen. Wir kommen gerne, sobald wir auf Wangerooge verweilen wieder.

Für uns hat sich „Unser Boot“ auf Wangerooge zu einem der besten Restaurants auf Wangerooge gemausert. Supernette, aufmerksame Bedienung, tolle Einrichtung des Lokals mit außergewöhnlichen Details und nicht zuletzt das sehr leckere Essen zu fairen Preisen. Hunde sind auch willkommen, man sollte das nur bei der (notwendigen) Reservierung mit angeben, dann würden die Tische mit Abstand geplant. Das ist sehr sinnvoll, auch im Hinblick auf die Besucher ohne Hund. Macht weiter so, wir kommen gern wieder!

Nach einem Jahr Pause waren wir im Urlaub wieder im "Boot" essen. Es ist nach wie vor in Summe das beste Restaurant der Insel, wie ich finde. Allerdings war bei den beiden Besuchen das Fleisch nicht mehr ganz so zart und perfekt gegrillt wie 2021. Jetzt bloß nicht nachlassen, Bootsleute!

Essen, Getränke, Service, wie auch das Ambiente sind sehr gut und stimmig.

Wir haben dort unsere Hochzeit gefeiert. 40 Personen, innen und Außenbereich. Dies möchte ich gerne bewerten: - Service: Schnell, auf den Punkt, vorbereitet, unfassbar strukturiert von den Abläufen! Eine 10 von 10!! - Essen: Jedes der Menüs war exakt auf dem Punkt! Das Dessert war der Knaller und die Weinbegleitung hat alles perfekt abgerundet!! - Locoation: Ich habe bisher noch nie ein so von herzen eingerichtetes und liebevoll gestaltetes Restaurant gesehen. Eine riesen Wandmalerei sorgt für das i tüpfelchen! Es war einfach alles alles perket! Danke an Antje Mike und ihr Team für das perfekte Zusammenspiel!!! Immer wieder gerne!!

Solch ein Restaurant wünsche ich mir auch zu Hause: eine aufmerksame und zugewandte Bedienung, eine große Getränkeauswahl und, das Beste, eine übersichtliche Speisenauswahl, die auch Vegetarier und Veganer glücklich macht. In der Küche wird das Essen regelrecht komponiert. Mein Sommersalat mit Kürbisfalafeln bestand aus 21 Komponenten: frisch, mariniert und fermentiert. Ein Fest für die Sinne! Optisch, olfaktorisch und gustatorisch ein wahrer Hochgenuss. Frische und Kreativität sind die große Stärke in „Unser Boot“.

Was für eine gute Wahl von uns vier Mädels in Unser Boot zum Abendessen einzukehren!!! Das Team und ganz besonders Rico waren super drauf und haben uns den Aufenthalt zu einem mega schönen Abend werden lassen. Das Essen war auf modernem sehr schönem Geschirr und sehr appetitlich angerichtet - und nicht nur das, es hat auch mega geschmeckt! Auch die Einrichtung fanden wir cool und gemütlich. Wir können dieses Lokal wärmstens empfehlen - und wir hatten einige Lokale aufgesucht, denen ich keine Bewertung schreiben werde ... ;-) Fazit: Beim nächsten Besuch bleiben wir in Unser Boot! Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommemdes Personal, das Essen war hervorragend - geschmacklich als auch in der Menge. Absolute Weiterempfehlung! :)

Ein Restaurant mit durchaus leckereren vielfältigen Speisen für jedermann. Vegetarische und vegane Speisen stehen ebenso wie Fleisch und Fisch auf der Karte. Die Bedienung war wenig herzlich, eher unterkühlt, das Ambiente sehr schön. Man sitzt drinnen wie draußen gemütlich und ansprechend. Die Hauptspeisen hätten uns ohne zusätzliche Beilagen nicht satt gemacht. Aber die Qualität des Essens stimmt.
