Unverschämt, schlecht. Nie wieder

Gefällt mir, seit es die neuen Besitzer haben, gar nicht mehr: Speisekarte spricht mich überhaupt nicht mehr an, auch nicht das Stellen der Tische, alte oder keine Kissen und Decken, genau so wie die Stühle und Tische, lieblose “Tischdeko”, es ist extrem schludrig rund ums Lokal, gerade auch wenn man von hinten kommt. Geht alles für mich leider gar nicht mehr! Schade!

Gutes Erdbeereis und sehr nettes Personal 😌

Hervorragende Eisbecher die ihren etwas höheren Preis gerecht werden, die Lage an der Kreuzung stört nicht weiter, da die schöne Parkanlage dazwischen liegt. Schatten spenden Bäume sorgen für ein angenehmes Klima. Idealer Ausgangspunkt für einen Besuch der schönen Altstadt.

Das Eis ist frisch und köstlich! Es gibt viele verschiedene Sorten und eine große Auswahl an Toppings. Man kann sich eine einzelne Kugel oder einen ziemlich großen Becher für unterwegs holen. Man kann es aber auch vor Ort genießen, zum Beispiel mit Eis oder Kaffee. Es werden auch einige Gerichte angeboten.

Wir haben unsere Weihnachtsfeier dieses Jahr hier gefeiert und es war einfach zauberhaft! Tolles Ambiente, zuvorkommender Service, leckeres Essen, preislich absolut top! Es wurde viel für uns möglich gemacht. Glühweinempfang an der eigens für uns geöffneten Glühweinbude, mit Feuertonne ein sehr stimmungsvoller Beginn! Alles war sehr schön dekoriert, wir haben wunderschöne Stunden verbracht! Herzlichen Dank an Tamara und Lukas und das Team! Wir können euch nur weiterempfehlen, jederzeit wieder!!!

Selten so einen freundlichen Service erlebt! Schon beim Reinkommen wird man mit einem Lächeln begrüßt. Der neue Besitzer macht einen tollen Job – man merkt, dass ihm seine Gäste am Herzen liegen. Das Eis ist hausgemacht und wirklich köstlich, besonders die Fruchteissorten schmecken super frisch. Preis-Leistung passt total, und die Atmosphäre ist gemütlich und einladend. Absolute Empfehlung!

Wir waren heute dort Eis essen und können nur sagen: alles top! 😊 Die Bedienung war aufmerksam, höflich und super freundlich – man wurde sofort bemerkt und schnell bedient. Auch Sonderwünsche wurden ohne Probleme erfüllt. Unser Spaghettieis war fantastisch, das Vanilleeis cremig und geschmackvoll, und der Früchtebecher frisch und wunderschön angerichtet. Die Mitarbeiter haben sogar nachgefragt, ob alles passt, und man merkt, dass hier mit Herz gearbeitet wird. Auch die Atmosphäre ist richtig gemütlich – man fühlt sich willkommen und gut aufgehoben. Service, Essen und Ambiente – einfach perfekt! 👏🍨

Sehr schöner Ort zum Sitzen! Kinder können wunderbar auf der Wiese spielen, während man in Ruhe ein Eis oder einen Kaffee genießt. Seit dem neuen Besitzer ist es hier wirklich viel besser geworden – super freundliche Bedienung, die fließend Deutsch spricht und immer aufmerksam ist. Auch bei größerem Andrang wird man schnell bedient und mit einem Lächeln verabschiedet. Das Eis ist richtig lecker, cremig und frisch – besonders das Spaghettieis ist ein Highlight mit perfekter Sahnemenge und feinem Vanillegeschmack. Insgesamt eine große Verbesserung und absolut empfehlenswert für Familien und Eisliebhaber! 🍦☀️

Am Ambiente mangelts nicht, aber für die Standortwahl sollte man auch keine Preise erwarten. Der Servicechef wirkt seriös, aber sonst fällt mir nichts freundliches ein. Kundenorientiertes Arbeiten und Kulanz sind Fremdwörter in diesem Betrieb. Auf Kundenwünsche wird kaum bis gar nicht eingegangen. Die angebotenen Speisen und Getränke entsprechen einem guten Durchschnitt, aber nicht mehr. Der Standort ist das Beste an dem Lokal.

Had 2 ice cream sundaes, were okay

Unfortunately, the menu didn't impress us. They don't even offer schnitzel with fries. That's really not great... But the service was still very attentive!

The ice cream sundaes were VERY beautifully decorated and generously portioned. Excellent value for money. The service was very polite and they even took their time with our orders! The outdoor tables have a great view of an English garden and also have parasols. Or you can order your ice cream in a sundae and sit by the Vils River, which isn't far away. The other guests' dishes also looked delicious, and I definitely have to come back next time I'm in Amberg! Such nicely decorated and customer-oriented restaurants are becoming increasingly rare here in Düsseldorf 🫶🏻

We were really disappointed on our last visit! We actually really enjoy the café at the English Garden and visit regularly! We like to simply sit outside there during the warmer months and enjoy the atmosphere. However, the service on our last visit was completely overwhelmed. Whether ordering or paying, we had to wait a very long time. A neighboring table even left. Ordering a non-alcoholic shandy wasn't possible either – we only ordered two.... We're sorry, but this Sunday wasn't an advertisement for your café.

Sorry, but I can't recommend this place as an ice cream parlor. Too expensive, portions way too small, and the spaghetti carbonara I ordered was completely lacking in praline and eggnog. Once, and never again.

I had pretzel dumplings with chanterelle sauce. Absolutely delicious and well worth the price. Service was friendly and attentive.

Basst scho (highest Bavarian praise!) I had Leberkäse (meatloaf) with fried egg and fried potatoes, which was delicious. Friends had sweet potato fries, which were incredibly good. The staff was very friendly. I'd definitely go back.

Very nice to sit. Kids can play on the lawn. There's a new owner recently, but unfortunately, it's a complete failure. The waitress doesn't speak German and forgets everything. There are four other waitresses inside, and no one comes to pay. Not even after waving them over... The ice cream doesn't taste good either... A huge pile of whipped cream under the spaghetti ice cream and then maybe one scoop of vanilla ice cream. Unfortunately, very disappointing.

I don't know what the other guests saw here, we were there too, and only noticed two things: once the thing with the dog and the other time that the aforementioned guests apparently asked the waitress, or the rest of their order remains period and more often this waitress was no longer at the table.

Well, I can't agree with my previous commenter, LOLO, today: We wanted ice cream. After being ignored for minutes, we changed tables. Finally, a waitress came, a young lady with glasses... After the spaghetti ice cream was almost finished and the cappuccino was already half drunk, we asked if the fruit cup was still coming. They promptly told us in a very rude manner that it wasn't her fault... but that she could ask when the fruit cup would be coming and then let us know right away. After the waitress had to thoroughly pet a dog (very hygienic), we were informed four minutes later that the fruit cup had been forgotten. And then, thank God, it came, but not the waitress. She sent her colleague and then the manager to collect the money. That has nothing to do with service. Sorry, when the customer who asks is yelled at first. And no apology. Regarding the spaghetti ice cream: the vanilla ice cream wasn't the best either. In that respect, I'm wondering where the person who commented before me was. In any case, not where we were today. And we won't be going there again!!!! If it's your style to try to excuse a mistake on your part by accusing the customer of a bad attitude that wasn't there, then let me just say that we asked when the fruit basket would be coming and if it was even coming. We didn't talk any further with this completely listless waitress. If we'd known that we were now going to be made out to be the bad guys, I would have clarified the whole thing with you right away at the checkout. That's not customer service, it's a disgrace.

Wonderful location, large terrace with shady spots. Exceptional daily specials. Portions are a bit small. A scoop of ice cream in an iced coffee for €6.50 is a bit meager. I'd say two scoops are more than enough. Otherwise, a clear recommendation👍🏻

We actually just wanted a coffee, but the food they brought out was so delicious that we ordered it, too. Incredibly delicious and the staff were super friendly. Thank you for the lovely, cozy time with you. Keep up the good work.

This is a lovely place to sit outside. The sun shines brightly for a long time. If you like dark wheat beer, you should order a Falk with lemon.

Delicious ice cream and fresh fruit. Very friendly and accommodating service. I was there with my family and the food was excellent. I'd love to go again.

Ate an Amarena cup and a banana split. The whipped cream came from a can, and the ice cream wasn't tasty either. The Amarena cup doesn't usually look the same. It was just two scoops of ice cream with cherries, liqueur, and gritty whipped cream on top. With the banana split, they simply placed two halved bananas next to the ice cream. They're not doing themselves any favors with their ice cream cups. Once and never again.

The yogurt cup was beautifully presented, the service was very friendly and respectful, the visit was worth it.

The ice cream is also particularly noteworthy: creamy, aromatic, and with a wide selection – perfect for a sweet treat. In short: Rossini offers indulgence in a relaxed atmosphere with service that comes from the heart. We're already looking forward to our next visit!

Absolutely unacceptable... unfriendly staff. The restaurant is listed in the voucher book, but the voucher was rejected again. Today it was because of an event! The Old Town Festival, which was hundreds of meters away and had nothing to do with the restaurant. This is completely unacceptable. I suspect the owners won't accept the voucher book at all, even though they're contractually required to. Because in a city like Amberg, I can use an EVENT as an excuse every day, because there's always an event going on somewhere in the city. ZERO STARS 👎👎👎

This is where you can find the best ice cream in town! The location in the middle of the park is simply stunning! The service is friendly and attentive. There are always new and exciting ice cream flavors, including vegan options! Highly recommended!

The young waitress promised that she would give it to her colleague so she could pay. You can expect such a small thing but it didn't work. I had to continue this wish. Very unfortunate

I know Rossini from selling ice cream; we've been there dozens of times. Went there for the first time today and immediately had problems with the order. The boss faced up to the criticism and responded professionally with a surprise for us, which is something that many innkeepers can learn from. We'll be back for that, that's for sure.

I can really recommend it, everything is just right and we are already looking forward to either having a delivery service or making a reservation. It's so nice to go in and we feel good.

I could write a lot of negative and bad things, but I don't want to help this place improve.

The homemade cakes are really delicious. Plus the friendly staff. The small negative points are the extremely small toilets and the lack of space inside, but when the weather is great there is enough space outside.

Preise sind für die Qualität der Speisen zu hoch. 0.4l Zitronenlimo für Kinder 3.90 Euro tooooo mich. Bisweilen bekommt man nicht exakt das auf den Tisch was an der Tafel angeschrieben ist. Bedienung und Servicepersonal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Located directly at the English Garden. There would have been 3x5 stars... But prices for table water that are higher than the prices for the Munich Oktoberfest 2024 are not acceptable to us! A liter of table water €13! Service great, food good to very good…. The taste remains 😔

Old town festival, crowded: but good music 🎶

I've been back in Amberg for a while and went to the Rossini. Everything so far so well and good. But the water prices are incomprehensible to us. Table water 0.4l more than €4. And if you ask for mineral water, only a large bottle is offered for over €7. We don't think it's okay if you have children with you and considering what 1 cubic meter of water costs in Amberg. The operators might want to think about it...

Unfortunately it's no longer what it once was...we've actually been regular customers at Rossini for many years. Were there for dinner on Saturday lunchtime. The portions were really mini and very manageable. We never had that with the previous owners. Nothing compared to before. On Sunday I went there with my son for ice cream. The scoop of ice cream for 1.80 euros is really a joke. Half the size of other ice cream parlors. I do not understand it. It's a shame...because we always loved going to the Rossini

Spontaneously from Nuremberg to Amberg-Sulzbach by motorbike and accidentally ended up in the Rossini. Super friendly service employee. Delicious cappuccino and a good currywurst with fries. priced okay

Had two dishes from the daily menu outside in the open area. Likewise coffee. Everything really very good. The only drawback for me was an ice cream from my hand, which was too crystalline for my personal taste.

A place in the sun, with coffee from the portafilter... Spinach dumplings with salad or bread dumplings with real mushroom sauce are highly recommended. The service is perfect.

Hatte das mariniertes Steak mit Spiegelei und Bratkartoffeln. Portion für den Preis recht klein. Das mariniertes Steak hat bei jeden bissen geschmeckt als hätte das Fleisch einen Stich gehabt. Vielleicht liegt es an der Marinierung. Sie Bratkartoffeln waren schön kross aber du den vielen Speck auch viel Fett auf dem Teller. Mein Geschmack war es leider nicht und werde ich es nicht mehr bestellen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich.

Went here with a few friends and this place was extremely nice. 4 stars overall for sure. Service was fantastic and the atmosphere as well. The food only gets 4 stars because the roast beef wasn't really roast beef but an actual steak, plus it was a little on the rare side than medium like ordered. The side salads were also not really a "side" salad. It had nuts and seeds on it, which my wife cannot eat.

Überaus freundliches Personal, schnelle und vor allem sehr gute Küche. Unbedingt zu empfehlen!

Das Rossini in Amberg im Englischen Garten. Gleich gegenüber dem Parkdeck Kräuterwiese. Im Sommer sehr empfehlenswert. Für Kinder ist derzeit sogar eine Mitfahrgelegenheit vor Ort. Ich war da auch schon zum Braut verziehen. Essen und Trinken sind durchwegs lekker. Die Preise sind für Amberg akzeptabel. Beim Service bin ich sehr penibel und voreingenommen, meistens bin ich nur dort wenn eine bestimmte Person meine Bestellung entgegen nehmen kann. Es soll aber insgesamt such gut sein, was man so hört. Es gibt auch Bratwürste und Eiscreme. Der Melonenbecher sieht toll aus.

Super leckere vegane Karte! :) Man kann übrigens auch gemütlich drinnen sitzen.

Einfache aber leckere Gerichte von Schinkennudeln mit Salat bis Burger mit Süßkartoffelpommes. Hausgemachte Kuchen und Eis. Alles wird mit viel Liebe und einem freundlichen lächeln serviert. Sitzmöglichkeiten auf der großen Terrasse und innen. Innen ist nicht ganz so viel Platz, das nächste Mal werden wir reservieren. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Vo Kuchen kaum Auswahl und dann die Hälfte nicht da . Warme Küche gab es leider auch nicht und die Bedienung war mit allem überfordert. Muss ich nicht nochmal hin .
