Wir hatten einen rundum gelungenen Besuch in diesem Wirtshaus! Das Essen war hervorragend, die Atmosphäre gemütlich und man hat sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen gefühlt. Ein ganz besonderes Lob geht an Larissa und Eva. Beide waren unglaublich freundlich, aufmerksam und hatten immer ein Lächeln auf den Lippen. Mit ihrer herzlichen Art und ihrem tollen Service haben sie unseren Besuch zu etwas Besonderem gemacht. Man merkt, dass sie ihren Job mit viel Leidenschaft und Engagement ausüben. Vielen Dank für den großartigen Service – wir kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder und können dieses Wirtshaus nur weiterempfehlen!

Schöne Atmosphäre. Das Essen war gut, aber die Portionen waren zu groß für uns. Leider mussten wir einiges zurückgeben und wegwerfen. Um das zu vermeiden, sollten die Portionen kleiner sein.

Waren unter der Woche als durchschnittlicher Besuch zu 10. gekommen - Reservierung funktionierte Problemlos kurzfristig Tags zuvor - und sind als letzter Tisch des Tages gegangen. Wir wurden in allen Belangen ZUFRIEDENGESTELLT. Hervorragend eigenes Bier, qualitativ großartiges Essen und tolle Bedienung machten es uns zu einem außergewöhnlich gelungene Abend. Wir waren gestern mit unserer Gruppe dort essen und was soll ich sagen …. Das Essen war genial lecker, Getränke schon gekühlt. Besonders positiv ist uns die Bedienung aufgefallen die den kompletten Service alleine gestemmt hat und trotzdem immer ein Lächeln auf den Lippen hatte. Sehr sehr enttäuschend! Meine Frau hat ihr Essen nach 30 Minuten bekommen! Das Schnitzel und die Pommes waren lauwarm! Nachdem ich nach 1 1/4 Stunden noch nichts hatte sind wir gegangen! Der Service war schlecht! Keine Entschuldigung- nichts! Nicht zu empfehlen!

Uriges bayerisches Wirtshaus mit gutem Essen und einem hervorragenden Bier. Mein Spanferkel Braten schmeckte sehr gut, enthielt aber fast nur Kruste.

Geschmacklich in der guten "basst scho" Kategorie. Portionsgrößen und Preis sind aber eher an hoher Sterneküche orientiert. Zu teuer, zu kleine Portionen. Nichts für den großen Hunger.

Naja... Dünne billig Pommes die viel zu lange in der Fritteuse waren. Dressing vom Beilagensalat (muss extra bestellt werden!) zuviel Essig! Positiv und deshalb 2 Sterne: - Schnitzel aus der Pfanne - Champignonrahmsoße m. frischen Champignon Service: "normal"

Typisch Fränkische Küche mit reichhaltiger Auswahl. Auf Wunsch wird auch bei einem nicht vegetarischen Essen ein Ersatz für das Fleisch nach Absprache serviert. Man kann direkt am Braukessel sitzen. Das Schäufele ist nicht zu empfehlen, obwohl es lecker aussah. Die Fettkruste war bretthart und mit dem mitgelieferten Werkzeug nicht kleinzukriegen. Das Fleisch sollte zart sein und vom Knochen fallen. Beides war nicht gegeben. Gut geeignet auch für größere Gruppen. Der Service ist nett und wir haben zügig unser Essen bekommen.

Essen sehr lecker, das Bier war auch sehr gut und der Biergarten ist sehr schön. Die Bedienung allerdings sah immer sehr unmotiviert aus und war auch nicht sehr freundlich, aber sonst top👍🏻

Es war wirklich toll, dass der Hintereingang des Schloderer Brau etwas abseits vom Hauptplatz liegt. Der Außenbereich dort bot eine angenehme Atmosphäre. Das Essen war hervorragend und die Bedienung außergewöhnlich. Die Preise waren für die Gegend angemessen. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Wegen eines Besuches in Amberg, haben wir uns den Abend im Brauhaus gemütlich gemacht und gut Gegessen. Nette Bedienung und angenehme Umgebung. Jedenfalls ist die Bierbrauerei zu empfehlen.

Das Essen war bisher jedes Mal sehr gut. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt auf jeden Fall. Besonders gefällt uns als junge Familie, dass das Wirtshaus während der Öffnungszeiten durchgehend warme Gerichte anbietet und man nicht an eine bestimmte Zeit mittags oder abends gebunden ist.

Wenn Sie Tourist sind und an Ihren freien Tagen keinen Tisch reservieren können, brauchen Sie gar nicht erst dorthin zu gehen, alles ist reserviert und das Personal hat kein Interesse daran, Sie irgendwo zu platzieren, selbst wenn Sie 200 km gefahren sind.

Schönes Brauereilokal mit tollen Speisen

Wir waren jetzt das zweite Mal dort und es wurde nicht viel besser. Wer auf Imbissessen steht schreibt hier bestimmt gute Rezessionen. Beispiel; fertige Rahmsoße mit Dosenpilzen, Fisch aufgetaut und zu lange in der Friteuse, Schaschlikpfanne war teils nur lauwarm und an anderen Stellen heiß, wahrscheinlich Mikrowelle, Ripperl nicht ganz durch….. Vielleicht hatte die Küche einen schlechten Tag und war bei den vielen Gästen überfordert, suchen ja auch einen Koch, positiv Ambiente und Personal freundlich

Großes Brauhaus mit traditioneller bayrischer Küche, aber auch für Vegetarier/Veganer, freundliches Personal, flotter Service, preislich erfreulich! Sehr empfehlenswert!

Uriges Bräustüble mit super Essen! Wir sind hier mit internationalen Gästen essen gewesen, um ihnen die fränkische Küche zu zeigen. Sowohl die Schnitzel, Spargel als auch Spare Ribs wurde alles ausnahmslos gelobt und die kleine Braucherei Kessel waren natürlich auch eine kleine Attraktion. Auch das Bier war super also wir waren rundum zufrieden.

Haben zu dritt zu Mittag gegessen. Tolles Ambiente Alles hat super geschmeckt bis auf die Ofenkartoffel die war nämlich etwas wässerig und nicht wie gewöhnlich mehlig.

Leider waren unsere Gerichte versalzen.

Sehr süffige Biere, ein gutes Essen, auch fürs Auge angerichtet, in schönem Ambiente - was will man mehr? Da haben wir uns fürs richtige Lokal entschieden, auch der Service ist schnell und sehr sympathisch gewesen.

Der Service war unmöglich sehr unfreundlich. Essen war ok. WC Anlage stinken und sind ungepflegt. Sehr sehr schade!!!

Vorteile: - Gute Preise. - Kartenzahlung möglich. - Sehr gute Schweinerippchen in Soße. Nachteile: - Wir bestellten zwei Gerichte. Das erste Gericht kam nach einer längeren Wartezeit, das zweite nach weiteren fünf Minuten. - Im Putenschnitzel war eine sehr harte Haut, die ich herausschneiden musste. - Nicht besonders freundliches Personal.

Ich habe mir ein Schnitzel bestellt, das leider nicht warm ankam und dazu gab es Majo, die sich wie Butter zum Aufstreichen anfühlte. Die Bedienung war jedoch in Ordnung. Im Vergleich zum letzten Mal sehr nachgelassen. 2/5 Sternen

Good, solid food with good beer

A quaint, cozy inn in the heart of the old town. The service was excellent. The portions are generous and the prices are perfectly reasonable. A point deducted for the ribs: they tasted good, but there was more gristle than meat. A real shame.

After the interesting tour of the small brewery (costs €3), I treated myself to a delicious dark beer and the roast beef with onions and fried potatoes. Very tasty 😋 We ended our company outing here in a cozy atmosphere.

The food is really great, and for the price, there's a really generous portion. The service was good, though a little quiet at first, so you had to ask them to repeat themselves. The atmosphere is fantastic, with great decor and a really nice layout.

We tried to eat and it was full, 0 help getting a table, we told them to wait 10 minutes and all they said was there was no table. I don't usually leave reviews but this kind of attitude has to be mentioned. Unfortunately we couldn't try the food. There will be no other time there. They have replied to my comment, but of course they couldn't guarantee me a table in 10 minutes, but they just said it was full, my solution was to wait but their attitude was just that it was full. I had previously been downstairs and the exact same thing had happened to me, it even seemed like it bothered them there. As I said, I will not return with that service and customer service.

We went yesterday with a larger group and were extremely disappointed. Apart from the currywurst with fries, side salad, and pumpkin cream soup, everything was basically tasteless. The roast gravy was completely tasteless and the consistency was awful, and the meat was extremely fatty and inedible. And the most annoying thing is that with larger groups, for the third time now, there are always leftover drinks at the end that were supposedly not paid for.

We enjoyed it here, we were well served and the food was delicious - what more could you want?

So we got the recommendation. Go to Schloderer. I have to say the recommendation was amazing. The ambiance, food, and service staff were first-class, with 5 stars. For starters, we had the Schloderer goulash soup with farmhouse bread. Delicious and tasted great. Top-notch. Top-notch. I had the pork bridal plate with cheese spaetzle and carrots. It completely blew me away. The carrots with a subtle hint of garlic... The cheese spaetzle were divine, and the fillet was tender and delicious. My daughter had the roast pork with dumplings and dark beer sauce. The roast was so delicious and tender, the dark beer sauce was divine... My wife had the champignon schnitzel with spaetzle. The schnitzel had a real buttery flavor, and the spaetzle were homemade and divine. All in all, it was a good choice to satisfy our hunger. If you want good, delicious food, you're in the right place. Thank you for the wonderful experience, and if we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely stop by again. Thanks to the whole team.

Everything was fine, and the beer, a dark lager, was good, as were the food and dessert. Good home cooking, decent value for money. I'd gladly go back.

Great atmosphere with a brewery located right in the dining room, spanning two floors. Some of the food was cold, but it was quickly resolved; the amazing fried pretzel was partly raw. Other food, however, was excellent. Great beers.

Unexpectedly, the best roast pork in town. A recommendation for good, home-style cooking and first-class service.

A true Bavarian brewery, their main beer is a masterpiece. Sausages are 6 and 8€, reasonable prices, the atmosphere is superb. Everything was delicious. We ordered two goulash, a specialty of sea bass with spinach, three portions of sausages with pretzel and cabbage, a fantastic turkey salad with vegetables, fried bread with garlic, four large and two small beers. The bill for four people was 90€, and this is in the city center.

No matter what you order, the food is often cold or simply not warm anymore - but the taste is fine. I've also had hair in my food a few times. We were there once at Christmas, and unfortunately, I had to return my food (for the first time in my life, and thankfully, the last) because it was incredibly salty. Oh well, it happens sometimes, but they picked probably the worst day of the year, Christmas Day. I think the ambiance is very cool, with the huge brewing kettles in the middle of the pub. I like the layout, but when it's a bit busier, the sheer number of seats often feels like a complete food hall. Not nice. An absolute plus point: The home-brewed beer. It flows down your throat without regard for waste. You could probably drink 1,000 liters in one evening. I personally find it really delicious (although I've heard other opinions). There are no parking spaces, so you actually have to walk a few meters - a nightmare for some people ;-) Furthermore, you always get a spot, no matter when you arrive. Conclusion: You can do it once, you can even try the food if you want, but it's perfect for rebooting your hard drive. Best regards, The Chestnut Man

Never again. Hygiene is completely lacking here, garbage is served! Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. Group of almost 30 people. Ordered turkey schnitzel, another guest ordered beef schnitzel. The waitress served my turkey schnitzel to another guest (a mix-up), who had already eaten it by the time she noticed. She took the schnitzel back from the guest, went into the kitchen, poured sauce over the already partially eaten schnitzel, and served me the same schnitzel again as "fresh." Disgusting!!! The chef allegedly "accidentally made a double serving," which is why I had it back in my seat less than two minutes after she took it from the other guest. Ugh 🤮 anyone who eats there is eating other guests' leftovers. You have to be afraid that leftover beer will be refilled with fresh beer! Never again.

Stopped at Schloderer with friends on a bike ride! The service was extremely friendly and showed us to a free table. The atmosphere was truly wonderful, whether in the courtyard or in the restaurant itself. The four of us also enjoyed the food. There was a plentiful selection. We had four different main courses and were more than full afterward. 😀 The value for money here is definitely good.

Cozy brewery inn with good beer and down-to-earth, yet fine food.

We stopped by for a beer and were greeted warmly. The beer was good, and the service was super friendly.

The very first thing we noticed when we entered the restaurant was the waitress. She came in wearing a very skimpy halter top, even though she had a figure that wasn't suited for it. If it were possible, I would give it zero stars. The food was absolutely tasteless, there were flies everywhere, and to top it all off, there was a hair in the food. There was no cutlery at first, even though the plates were already on the table. The waitress was not only completely overwhelmed, but also rude and simply didn't come despite calling several times. A place where you feel neither welcome nor well looked after. For us, a unique experience that we will never repeat – absolutely disappointing and not recommended.

Nice ambience, friendly service and homemade beer.

I was completely won over on my first visit – the place, the food, the service, and the prices were all beyond fantastic! The dark beer sauce has the perfect color and consistency, the meat is tender, and the spaetzle is homemade. Anyone who complains that they have to/can/may add a side salad for €3.90 for a roast pork or suckling pig at €10.90/€11.90 is beyond help! I paid €22.20 for one roast, plus salad, plus extra spaetzle, and one drink. For that, at least one of the additional side dishes would have to be forfeited elsewhere. The goulash soup was also very good, with plenty of garnish and bread on the side. The Upper Palatinate plate with roast pork, ribs, cabbage, and dumplings is also highly recommended. The service always makes every effort to ensure everything is just right and any special requests are met. It's a shame that it's too far away from us to stop here regularly.

We waited 20 minutes for a Cola wheat beer, which we only got after the starter. The main course was lukewarm to cold, but tasted quite good. The garlic carrots were very good, but didn't taste like garlic. The service was very attentive but still rather disorganized.

The food was wonderful. I haven't had such good roast pork in a long time. The meat was so tender, the knife was superfluous. The dumpling was incredibly tasty. Only the sauce was too much 😉, half a dumpling was missing. 🤣🤣. We'll be happy to come back. The prices were good, not overpriced.

A typical brewery, with plenty of seating and friendly staff. The food arrives in 10 minutes, but unfortunately, it's not a culinary delight. Canned carrots, overcooked meat, and the shoulder of pork isn't crispy enough. Overall, it could be better. Prices are actually reasonable, but it's really lacking in flavor and freshness. It's more of a mass-produced affair. A shame.

Highly recommended. The food is of excellent quality and the ambiance is wonderful. A special thank you also goes to the service.

A perfect place for local food with very good beer from its own brewery

A large selection of dishes. There were five of us. The food arrived at the table at the same time. Everyone enjoyed it. We'd be happy to go back.

One star only for the friendly service and the children's menu. The vegan dish of the day with eggplant and spinach was abysmal, the chanterelle cream schnitzel was tasteless, and the beer wasn't convincing either. It's a shame, because the ambiance and location actually had potential. Unfortunately, we won't be visiting this beer garden again.
